Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Reviews (%countItem)

They put scratches all over my vehicle and failed to buff them all out and left my car dirtier and now with more swirls then before.
I purchased a new Nissan and by the time we closed a deal it was dark and after my car was supposedly detailed I noticed the next morning deep scratches and swirl marks on my brand new car. I called and complained about this and was told I could bring in it to have Nissan take care of this situation. I took the car in the next day to be buffed. They didn't buff the entire car and get the scratches and swirl marks out. The deepest scratch they touched up with a pen and is still very visible. Now that my car has been buffed poorly there are more swirls marks and on top of it they left buffing compound in every crevice and on every piece of trim around the car making the condition even worse.

Desired Outcome

I would like my vehicle to be detailed by a professional detailer who is able to do a complete paint correction and fix all the scratches and swirls on my vehicle. Also I would like someone who is competent enough to be able to do a real full detail inside and out on my vehicle to remove dirt on the inside that has been there since I bought it and buffing compound/protective film that was left all over my car.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jul 02, 2020

We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the condition of the vehicle you purchased. We will allow you $300 to get your car professionally cleaned. Please send us a copy of the bill for up to $300 and we will reimburse you.

The cost of the quotes I have to get my vehicle detailed by a professional total over $700 I respectfully asked for this and you refused. I need the entire cost of paint correction, detailing the exterior, and interior covered. Every crevice and piece of trim is covered in buffing compound. There are swirls and scratches everywhere some will require wet sanding. Everything you guys tried to do to my car will need to be stripped and rebuffed and polished. My interior carpets and seats in the rear have white residue all over them and will need special attention. I have attached one written quote I received. I have also spoken with the loyalty manager and shown other priced options. $300 is not an acceptable amount for the damages done to a brand new car.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jul 02, 2020

We will be happy to offer you $300 or we will be happy to take the car back and refund you all of your money. $700 to detail a vehicle is absurd and we are not willing to refund you more money than profit we made on the transaction. We will be happy to take the vehicle back and refund all your money.

I'm past the point of returning the vehicle I have irx tint on it. It's not just detailing either it's paint correction. I'll take the $300 and come up with the rest myself then a new vehicle shouldn't have all the issues I'm dealing with. You need to work on your quality control in the future to avoid these issues.

I purchased a vehicle, 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. Used on 2018. The sales guy Javier A, Promised and Guaranteed the quality of the car. When I *** asked what those AS IS MEAN? He explained it's just cosmetic things. Nothing to do with Motor or Transmission He The sales guy said. A few days into the purchase the car just didn't feel right. It always had a small sound in the motor area a tic tic. A fast tic tic but very low. I told them about it. But he continued saying it was nothing. Well I no longer went back I was feeling embarrassed that they might think I was just a joke. 20 month later my car broke down on I-4 on my way home from my family's home in Tampa. This is a car tha Javier a*** gave me his word and denied any problems with the car. He lied, pushing me into buying this car. He new that the car was faulty. I feel he lied. I would like to speak to an honest person who can help me. I don't think it's fair that I have a broken down car in my drive way. When I'm paying it and I needed a car I could depend on. I didn't want another car that would give me problems. I just want to feel safe when I drive on the road. I want what is fair. please the car had two previous owners and he said only one person owned the car. I want the car I was promised a good car that won't break down on a 2 hour drive. They knew the car was faulty when they took it to, 2 of the sutherlin nissan best experienced mechanics.

Replacement I want a replacement vehicle with lower interest and a professional sales person to do the process and paper work. I do not want a used vehicle I need a new zero miles to guarantee that I can trust it on the road. I feel Violated of my right to enjoy a vehicle that I am paying for. It's a shame that a company like this has such unprofessionals working there. Please I would like to b taken seriously I feel disrespected and sad. I need to know that there is still honest people left. Thank U '???

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jun 04, 2020

can you give me the last 6 of the vin# on your car? The only *** in our system purchased a Frontier and not a Hyundai. Please provide me with the info so I can look up the deal and see if you have any warranty left. Also please provide me with the current miles on your car.

I'm not happy with the deal I had with this company. I bought a car from them with a trade it and I think they just screwed me over with everything
It all started when it was tax time and my husband and I needed a new car. So we saw the flyer for the cars for tax time at the dealership and we went it and I wanted to trade my car in. So during the week of Jan 23-29 they had the deal if *** does your taxes then the dealership will refund you the payment for your taxes. Well we did that and that is ok at first. Then we signed the papers partly for the new car and it just was going downhill for there. We wanted forever to get the money. Finally we got the money and got the car and had to resign all the papers. We were promise we would get refunded the payment to do our taxes but it hasn't happen. Also promise more stuff like renewal of my *** to get another 3 months since it took so long to get my car. What made it worst as we get our car we waited for our car to be detailed and they didn't even put gas in the car. We left that day and had to call down the road for them to bring us gas because we ran out and that was wrong when you derail you should make sure you have gas in the car when someone is picking the car up. I will not be going back to them I had the worst experience and would like something for my bad experience

Desired Outcome

I would like the money I was promise for when I had to pay out of pocket for my taxes when the business was suppose to take care of it

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Apr 17, 2020

I AM SORRY TO BE GETTING THIS COMPLAINT. I SPOKE WITH THE SALESMAN AND HE SAID THAT THE GAS PUMPS WERE BEING SERVICED AT THE *** WHERE WE GAS OUR CARS UP AND HE TOLD THE CUSTOMER THAT WE WOULD FILL THE CAR UP FOR THEM THE NEXT DAY AND HE SAYS HE DID FILL THE CAR UP FOR THEM THE FOLLOWING DAY. AS FAR AS THE TAX REFUND PLEASE TELL ME HOW MUCH IT WAS AND I WILL LOOK INTO THIS. I AM VERY SORRY THAT THE EXPERIENCE HERE WAS NOT GOOD AND I WILL BE ADRESSING THIS WITH MY TEAM. PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGY AND GET BACK TO ME WITH THE AMOUNT THAT WAS TO BE REFUNDED AND I WILL GET IT HANDLED.

Customer Response • Apr 17, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Yes because they are accepting the fact that I didn't get my refund money I was promise. The amount I was suppose to get is $324 and also I would like a renewal of my *** radio that should have been renewed since it took so long for me to get my car.

brought in my car for a recall repair, all the dash lights were off (such as engine light, airbag light) after the recall fix, air bag light is ON!
after 48 hours working on my car, supposedly fixing 4 open recalls, they caused my airbag light to come on! and now they are stating that it may have been incidental that this issue exists. truly sick and tired of the way, they handle customers and try to up charge clients for either a tech mistake or etc.

Desired Outcome

JUST NEED TO FIX MY AIRBAG LIGHT, THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE I BROUGHT IN THE CAR FOR THE RECALL REPAIR! DAMAGED MY CAR AND WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Feb 10, 2020

I am very sorry for the troubles that you have had with getting your air bag light repaired. I just reached out to Nissan and voiced my frustrations with them for not covering this repair for you. Their response was that your vehicle is way out of warranty and that they did not want to pay for the full repair. I took it all the way up the ladder and was able to get Nissan to cover the full repair and I am VERY sorry that this happened. Please call my service department and ask for Doug H and he will schedule the repair with you. Again I am sorry for the troubles.

Customer Response • Feb 14, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Have taken the car in today for the 3rd time
Jan 22nd initial service that took through all the way
Jan 23rd!
Jan 30th again for 4 hours the car was there!
Today February 14th! Again the car was there for 2 hours!
Supposedly Nissan Corp has taken initiative to pay
100% for the service!
But I'm not sure why all this going back and forth!
Gas/time seems to be not of important to this business!
And my car is till not repaired after 3 weeks!!!

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Feb 20, 2020

We explained to the customer that we had to order a wiring harness and it would take a little while to come in. I know that this is frustrating and I am very sorry this is happening but we have to follow the steps that Nissan is requiring in order for Nissan to pay for the repair.

Didn't give me a buyers guide. Sold me a car that was in an accident . Added extra money to the contract .
Didn't give me a buyers guide. Sold me a car that was in an accident . Added extra money to the contract .

Desired Outcome

Fix my credit and pay for the damages. Return my $1000

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Dec 23, 2019

Mrs *** purchased a pre-owned vehicle from us on 02/12/2018 almost two years ago. She paid $9988 for it and she then purchased a extended warranty and GAP coverage for her new vehicle. The extended warranty and the GAP can be cancelled at any time and we would be happy to cancel the coverage for her and give her the prorated refund that the contracts will allow. Many cars we sell have been in previous accidents but they pass through our service department and if they are found to be good cars with not problems we retail them and if they are found to be unreliable cars we wholesale them.
As far as any extra money that was added to her contract it would only be the warranty and GAP that she chose to purchase. We will be happy to cancel that for her. We would also be happy to trade her out of this car and put her in a vehicle she would be happier with and we would give her to dollar for her trade in.

Customer Response • Dec 23, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this offer . I would like my credit to be fixed because I was not given a buyers guide neither was I given a car fax. All I AGAIN..want is my credit to be fixed & my $1000 back & possible compensation for the damages. You guys did not care at all about customer service , neither did you care about me & the faulty car. The car was taken back 2x in less than a month to be fixed.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jan 06, 2020

I dont think I understand completely. What happened to your credit that you would need fixed? Us selling you a car does not have anything to do with your credit unless you did not make your payments. I can not help you resolve any issues with your credit if you did not make your payments or made them late. And any warranties you added to the contract can be cancelled and refunded.

Customer Response • Jan 06, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
You guys added an extra $400 to the contract. Plus bunches of warranty $3780...Additionally, didn't give me a car fax or a buyers guide .. by federal law a buyers guide should be given to the customer and be on the car window. The car had to be taken back 2x less than a month. After the 2nd time the car was returned and you guys didn't care about customer satisfaction. If I'm refunded $4180.. we have a deal..

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jan 07, 2020

We are not required to provide a*** to customers and we have a signed copy of the buyers guide in the deal and you would have received the copy of it in your paperwork. If you gave the car back as a reposession then I can not do anything to help you. I am sure we could have traded you out into something you would have been happier with but if you already had the car repoed then I can not do much to help you.
If the car was repoed then the bank would have cancelled the extended warranties and we would have already refunded the bank for any products you purchased in the finance office. We have to refund this to the bank as long as there is a leinholder involved.

The loan is my responsibility per ally .

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Jan 09, 2020

I could not seem to find any attachment to open but YES the loan would be your responsibility to pay. If you were not happy with the vehicle you should have let us trade you out into something you were happier with rather tan giving the car back to the bank as a reposession.

I live in Tampa, I drove two hours to go look at the car.We have purchased an infiniti Qx60 and paid cash for it. the car had few issues Like (the back bumper had popped out the clips, the car was dirty) while we were test driving it and their sales manager Orlando had promised us to fix all the issues (That was on Friday ). so we went back on Monday with our toddlers to pick up the car. They just had washed the outside of the car and that's it the kids were going crazy so we just took the car and I found out the car has been hit in the front, on the passenger side and never was reported to carfax. I called the dealership multiple time for to someone return my call, and still few month later haven't heard from these crooks please stay away from this dealership Worst car buying experience of my life!!!!

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Dec 17, 2019

Please reach out to Giovanni C and we will get your issues with the car resolved. I am sorry you have not gotten these issues resolved as of now. Giovanni will get the bumper issue resolved for you. 407-657-9500

I went to buy a car from this dealership I found a vehicle I wanted and the salesman showed me a used 2017 Nissan titian first then showed me a new Nissan titan. After talking with the salesmen who promised the they could get the deal done, I chose the the used titian. They then come back and tell me my credit is too low to get financed but "they would find someone to finance me" and sent me home with the used titian to drive which I really liked the used one. It had more bells and whistles and was just a really nice truck. The next day the salesman called me and told me I got the financing for the newer titian which was great but was a much lesser truck than the one they said they could get me in. The could update that Nissan but it was going to cost me more. I told them I liked the used one and wanted that one.But I felt like they were trying to do a bait and switch on me. Not only that they told me the financing went through and I would not have a payment until December. In the meantime I had moved, I got a call from the finance company saying I was two months behind, This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dealership, they lied from the time I walked in until the time I left. They said they would tint my windows which they did and they said they mad the appointment but when I took the vehicle down they did not know anything about it. I was lied too again about what they were going to do. I still think they did the bait and switch tactic with the used truck and the new truck! Then they told me if I wanted the used vehicle I would have to put down $2000....The whole process was horrible business practices and taking advantage of a senior citizen!
Product_Or_Service: vehicle

Desired Outcome

Refund I want a refund of my $2000 and felt like I was under duress when I gave them the money.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 25, 2019

The reason the down payment was necessary on the used truck was because the new truck has a rebate and the rebate needed to be used to cover the negative equity from the trade in. On the used truck there is no rebate and we needed to have the $2000 down to get the deal approved by the bank. As far as the payments we gave 45 day to the first payment which was the max the bank would allow. I am not sure how December was told but the bank contract that you signed showed the payment date on it. We absolutely did not take advantage of you and gave you the choice to make as far as zero down on the new truck or $2000 down on the new one. We only needed the $2000 down because the bank required it to get you approved.

First time customer to Sutherlin Nissan. Door dented during service.
Went to Sutherlin Nissan to remove nail from my tire and perform tire rotation. My appointment was on 11/19 at 4:15PM. My service advisor was Kelsey ***. Gave her my car and then went into the waiting room. After about an hour I asked her about the the status, and she informed that the the car was in the wash. After another 20 minutes after 5PM, Kelsey brought my car and immediately left without saying a word. I went to my car and to my surprise my car was never washed (please see attachment). It was still dirty. Then I noticed another surprise - a dent in my passenger side door right below the rear view mirror. (please see attached photo). I called another service advisor and informed her of this finding. She was not able to find Kelsey and walked inside to call a manager, she was gone for a about 20 minutes. Then someone came out looked at my car and totally dismissed me by saying this was already there and nothing to do with us. I protested, and told him the dent was not there, it was made while on your premises and especially that the dent looked fresh and just made. That was insulting and he left back into the building. I followed and told him, that I will make complaint to Revdex.com, he said that's fine. I asked him for his business card and he gave me business card with a name of a Douglas ***.
I was a first time visitor to Sutherlin Nissan and I must say that this was not what I expected. I came for a simple tire repair and rotation and left with a dent in my car.

Desired Outcome

Repair the dent that was created while my car was in service at your dealership.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 21, 2019

Thank you for your feedback as a local reputable business we strive to provide upmost customer service for all our clients. After our conversation with this client. We've arranged for the dent on the vehicle to be corrected. At no cost to the client and at dealers expense.

Sutherlin Nissan advertised falsely on their brochure/flyer regarding a contest/sales event they were hosting.
I received a flyer in the mail from Sutherlin Nissan regarding a contest/sales event they were hosting. They indicated on the flyer the requirements to "WIN" different prizes IF you had the appropriate/matching numbers/pictures on the "scratch off". Well, I proceeded to do the scratch off and won, according to their flyer, $5,000. I read carefully all of the fine print to see what stipulations/catches there were etc. According to their flyer there were none. I proceeded to call them and made an appointment. Well, they had the wrong address printed on the flyer so I went to the wrong location. I called again and re-scheduled my appointment verifying both times that this was a legitimate competition and not a hoax, and that I wouldn't be wasting my time. I was assured it was. I loaded up my 3 children (one of them who has special needs) and drove the 25 miles to the location. Upon arrival, I was met and I assume in the regular method of doing things for the competition. Well, what they advertised was NOT what they said when I got there in person. Apparently, the fact that my card indicated that I had won the $5,000 was not the truth...I was told by the employee there that the winning card did was make me ELIGIBLE for the prize. NO WHERE ON THE FLYER DOES IT SAY THAT!!! I read the fine print multiple times before going. As I told the sales associate they should be ashamed of themselves. Say what you mean don't lie to people getting them to come to your location for nothing. BE HONEST! If you don't intend to give out cash prizes don't say that you are. It is a shame that a local company cannot be honest in its advertising. If you don't mean it then don't say it and don't do it. I loaded up my 3 children and drove the 20 miles back home. It is a shame that companies today lie to the public it builds a distaste and distrust for businesses/salesman.
I will personally never make a purchase from that dealership again!

Desired Outcome

They should stop this sales event and/or start telling people the truth before they come in!

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 09, 2019

We are sorry that you feel our advertisement was not honest. This is a company we hired to put on this sale and they are a nationwide company. The mail piece we sent out has a true winner and it is insured so we hope that someone wins the grand prize because it does not cost us if the winner shows up. We are sorry you feel the mail piece was deceiving but there truly is a winner and we hope that they show up because it is insured and we want someone to win.

Customer Response • Nov 12, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
According to my mailer I was a winner. I had the matching numbers for a $5,000 winner. That was my complaint. I bring my winning card and am told it only makes me eligible to win. That is what I said needed to be put on the mailer as it did not say that in any of the fine print at the bottom. (I read it several times) It said that you win $5,000 if you have 777. It doesn't get much clearer than that. If you don't really win if you get a 777 then don't put that on the piece of mail. I understand that it is an outside company but you as the dealership approve any and all production that has your company's name on it. IF you don't mean it, then don't say it and mislead people.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 14, 2019

I am sorry that the mailer was misleading and I am not using this company in the future. It was the first time I used them and they came highly recommended but I believe the mail piece was a bit deceiving to people. I will not use them in the future.

Received a flier in mail for Huge Tent Sale in Clermont from Sutherlin Nissan. It was false advertisement.
Flier stated that there would be a Huge Off-Site Event hosted by Sutherlin Nissan starting 11/1. There was a Money Carlo Match to Win card attached to flier. It appeared that we won $5000 on the instant match. The flier said to visit ***.com and enter the PIN but nothing happened. I called the number on the flier and the representative set up an appointment for us to meet at the tent on 11/6 @ 11am. We got a voicemail the day before saying that the tent sale has been moved to the dealership in Orlando and that we should ask for Tina T when we got there. We drove over to the dealership and there was no indication outside that there was any type of huge sale going on. We asked for Ms T but were told that she was not in today. Another sales rep sat down with us and told us that they were made to shut down the tent in Clermont. No reason was given. He said that even though it appeared that we had a winning card, it didn't guarantee that we really had won. He needed our info first and we were supposed to enter our PIN into a machine to see if we really were winners. This whole scene was screaming SCAM so we decided to get up and leave.

Desired Outcome

This advertisement was so misleading. We knew there was something not right with it but it certainly appeared that we had won $5000. The small print stated that you didn't need to purchase anything to win the prize.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 07, 2019

We did have a sale all set up in Clermont but the sale was shut down due to the fact that we advertised New Nissan's for sale on the flyer event and we were not allowed to advertise New Nissan's for sale due to the fact that it was supposed to be a used care sale and we were not allowed to advertise New Nissan's for sale at the event. This is the reason we had to move the sale back to our dealership. The mailer was a true mailer and was insured for the grand prize winner so we would be happy if someone won because it does not cost us anything if the grand prize was won. I am sorry if you thought it was a scam because it was not anything of the sort. Although the sale was shut down in Clermont we were directing everyone back to our store and we have had great success with the people who have shown up here. We have not had a grand prize winner show up yet but we have had lots of other winners show up and claim their prizes.

Nissan refuses to replace leased vehicle with another new Leased vehicle as I feel unsafe driving current vehicle due to numerous repairs.
Letter sent to dealership:

I am purchased the vehicle listed in the subject above on August 9, 2018.

On June 13, 2019, I had to bring in the car for service due to a malfunction status flashing on the dashboard - (crash sensor light) which resulted with me spending 3 hours at the dealership in which I was advised the problem had been fixed and returned to me.

This week(provide day) the same malfunction status started flashing again which in turn resulted in the dealership advising I bring in the vehicle yet again! The issue was the following: (Radar Malfunction Light Lane Camera Loose Connector R14 which was stated on the paperwork). Now that brings us to today, August 29th, 2019 which I'm being advised now it's now another problem & they have to order a part which is not available on-site which will probably take 2- 3 days to arrive after being ordered. I was advised I could get a rental but would need to present a credit card & charged a $50 fee until the rental was returned. At first I agreed to this but the inconvenience is so great that I decided to just get my car back as I don't have a credit card at the moment & nor can afford the $50 charge at the moment nor should be responsible for as due to the part not being in stock or on-site.

To close, as a return/loyal customer, I am very up hauled that the only response received was I'm sorry for the inconvenience & was never offered anything else for all the hardship/inconvenience I've under gone & still undergoing. My next step is to file for the Florida Lemon Law and to also file a complaint with the Revdex.com as I feel that I'm just being treated unjustly as a Female Senior Citizen.

P. S. Totally stressed & very disappointed with the car and treatment I've undergone since I decided to upgrade my vehicle.

Regards,

Rosa

Desired Outcome

I am requesting that the vehicle I am currently leasing under contract be replaced with a new vehicle for the remainder of the contract as I no longer feel safe driving the current vehicle due to the numerous repairs I have had to undergo which cost me pain & suffering having to sit in the dealership for hours on end on any given occasion. What I have received so far is a settlement letter from Nissan Corporate which appears like a payoff for me to remain quiet about the matter that is worded in legal terms I don't understand & must seek legal advice as to how to respond which was not explained to me when the offer was suggested until the documentation was received.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 26, 2019

Rosa I am very sorry you are not happy with your Nissan and we will do anything in our power to help you get into a new Nissan that you feel safer in. There is a process to do this and as a dealership we can not control it but we will help you deal with Nissan to see if they will replace your Nissan under the Lemon Law. Can you please advise us as to who at Nissan you are dealing with and the contact info for that person. We can reach out to them on your behalf and try to expedite this process for you and try to get you out of the car you do not feel safe in and into a new Nissan. Please contact John *** in our service department and we can get this process sped up for you.

Customer Response • Oct 30, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am submitting a response of "No" to the Business, response for the following reasons:

As advised, I contacted John *** earlier this morning in which I left a voice mail with my information. He then contacted me and upon speaking with Mr. he advised as to why his name was provided as a contact regarding my complaint. As I read to him the response received he stated that since I have a claim with the Revdex.com, it's a legal matter and out of his hands nor is involved. He also advised that I obtain legal representation in which only then he can assist me. I also mentioned the new recall that I received in the mail and he stated this is a known problem due to customers tampering with the rear camera safety settings (which I do not touch) and that I would have to schedule yet another appointment due to the amount of vehicles coming in for service dating back to the 2015 model of the same vehicle. Once again, Nissan has demonstrated how I continue to receive the run around in obtaining a resolution to my ongoing issue in which I am continuing to pay for a vehicle which I seem unsafe but place myself at risk as I have to be able to get to/from work, doctor's appointment's, etc.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 31, 2019

Rosa if you are going through the Lemon Law process then it is a touchy process for us because you have to start the process through Nissan and then Nissan will reach out to us for us to do the final inspection on the car. If you are already working with someone at Nissan if you can pass that contact info to us we can try to help speed the process up for you. In your complaint you stated you were going to file with the Lemon law and that is the process we can assist you with by gathering up all the service history and working with Nissan to try to get you into a new car you are happier with. If you can provide us the contact you are working with at Nissan we can get them all the info needed to speed up your claim. As far as the $50 rental fee that money is refunded to you and is not even charged to your card unless you return the rental damaged or not on time. Nissan covers the rental fee as long as it is a covered part under your warranty.

Customer Response • Nov 01, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm sorry but it seems that I've not explained myself correctly. What I am seeking is help/guidance on how to file for the Lemon law & obtain another vehicle + cash compensation that's been offered. The only reason I haven't consented to the cash settlement is due to a settlement contract that's attached & I don't fully understand the legal terminology. Thank you & once again I'm sorry for any inconvenience I've cause.

Rosa 90% of the time Nissan never lets it get all the way to the Lemon Law process. Most of the time Nissan will help get you in a new Nissan before it get to the Lemon Law. If you have already filed a complaint with Nissan they should have given you a complaint number and you should have a contact person with Nissan that is handling your case. If you can give me the complaint number and the phone number to the person handling your complaint I can try to take over and help get you in a new car. Please respond back to me with this info and I will try to get involved and help resolve your problem.

The person that I've been in contact with is Ashlan***Arbitration Specialist @ 615-*** email address is ***@***.com. She wants me to sign a Settlement Agreement & Release contract (in which there is a lot of legal terminology I don't understand) in order to be compensated for a cash settlement but has never offered to get me into a new car. Thank you

Can you forward the paperwork she is asking you to sign to ***@***.com We will talk with Nissan and explain that the reason you are doing this is to get yourself in a new Nissan you are more comfortable with.

I did receive the info that was sent and I am working with Nissan to help resolve the issues here and have contacted the area manager for Nissan. This is not a process that if resolved right away and Nissan wants to have a additional chance to look at the vehicle and try to fix it. If we are not able to fix the problem then I would recommend that Ms. Santiago should try to file a claim under the Lemon law and She should be able to get her vehicle replaced with a New Nissan.

Sutherlin Nissan of Orlando & Integrity Auto Promotions made bogus promises of rebates, refinancing scams and falsified my income on the application.
On March 30, 2019 I went with my son who wanted to buy a car at Sutherlin Nissan after receiving a flyer in the mail offering a $7,000 credit/rebate towards a car purchase. The car he chose cost $29,000 but he believed he would receive a $7,000 rebate which was a factor in choosing that car. He was denied a loan due to poor credit and again with me as a cosigner. That's when I was targeted for the car loan because I had great credit. When I say targeted, it is because I felt incredible pressure from the sales team to buy this car for my son. I told them I couldn't afford it but their sales team said my son could make the payments and guaranteed Sutherlin would transfer the loan to his name after making "9 timely payments." And they guaranteed this would be in the contract. Under duress, I regrettably agreed to this now obvious gimmick, a coordinated effort between the sales team (including Integrity Automotive Promotions) and their finance dept.

But unbeknownst to me my monthly disability benefit of $2,117 prevented me from being approved. And somehow it was changed to $6,117 on the loan application! The application had my signature on it but the amount they typed in was not the amount I told them. And I would never lie about it and jeopardize my benefit, it is my lifeline. And I had no idea the loan would be denied based on my actual monthly benefit. But they would have known, they are the finance experts.

So how did they do this? Do they give people a blank form to sign and falsify the income later and then withhold the document from the customer? For the record, they NEVER gave me a copy of the loan application the day I purchased the car. It has my signature on it but I have no idea how it ended up there or who typed in the inflated income because they never gave me the document until I demanded a copy 6 months later when I realized I was scammed.

By August my son had made 7 timely payments on the car loan and I went to Sutherlin to initiate the loan transfer but was told it wasn't possible. I was devastated. A few weeks later I tried to negotiate a trade in for a much cheaper car but they only offered me cars over $20,000 which I couldn't afford. I was forced to do a voluntary repossession as I couldn't afford the $587/month loan payments. Last month the car sold at auction for $16,800 and I am on the hook for $14,800. After I received the loan payoff from the credit union I went to Sutherlin to get a copy of the loan application and to discuss a debt reduction. The finance manager told me "just don't pay it." The manager, who told me his name was "US Marine," said this deal was done by Integrity who sent out the flyer. Marcus ***, the salesman who made the refi assurances to me said Integrity was working for the dealer but I just found out he works for Integrity. The manager, "US Marine," eventually acknowledged that I was wronged but said Integrity would have to pay some of the debt because it was their salesman and the debt was too big for Sutherlin to incur. I called Integrity but they do not answer and do not have voice mail. I eventually reached Marcus *** but he denied everything and blamed Sutherlin. The contract I signed was with Sutherlin. But who hired Integrity?
The bank doesn't care and doesn't even require income verification. When I asked how they could approve such an expensive car loan they said it was based on my good credit rating. In May 2019, WBTV in NC, reported 11 complaints alleging consumer fraud involving Integrity and other dealerships. The complaints are similar to mine - people were lied to, documents were falsified and withheld from consumers, income was inflated by over 300%, and bills were padded with services not requested (in my case they added a maintenance service plan when all I asked for was GAP insurance).
It's clear now that I was duped. Since I suffered a traumatic injury and lost my job a few years ago, I have not been the same. I know this was a factor in my being scammed.

Desired Outcome

Rescind the entire debt or drastically reduce it.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 18, 2019

Mr L came to Sutherlin Nissan with his son on March 30th during a sale we put on looking to purchase a vehicle for his son. His son picked out a $29000 vehicle and proceeded to purchase it. After trying very hard to secure financing under his name we were unable to get a loan approved, we then tried to get a loan approved with his father as a co-signer and still did not have any luck. He then talked his father into purchasing the car in his own name and we were able to get a approval in his fathers name. He states that we falsified his income to get the deal approved and I don't believe this to be true as he signed the application that he filled out stating the income he made. In his statement he says we TARGETED him and I feel this is not the case at all. He came to our store with his son in hopes of helping his son purchase a car and in no way did we target him whatsoever. He purchased the vehicle and he and his son left our dealership happy with their new car. He came back to our dealership five months later claiming his son had stopped making payments on the car because he could not afford it and wanted to see what we could do to help him. We tried to get the car refinanced and put it in his sons name but we were still not able to secure a loan in his sons name. He tried to talk to his bank and they were unable to help him as well. When I spoke with Mr L last I asked him why his son stopped making payments on the car and he said he was very upset with his son about it and that he was stuck and in a bad position. We feel terrible that this has happened but in no way did we TARGET him and force him to purchase this car, he did it to help his son out and unfortunately his son did not make the payments and Mr L wants to blame our dealership for this car loan going to repossession.

Mr L did a good thing helping his son purchase his dream car and when his son stopped paying for the car he blamed the dealership for selling it to him.

Ulrich

1)You sent the flyer to my home offering a non existent $7,000 rebate, so yeah, YOU targeted me. 2) Your team pushed the hard sell for a $29,000 car, not my son; 3) We would have gone elsewhere had your team not made a bogus claim of transferring the loan to "his name for a special low interest rate program for people with bad credit after 9 timely payments were made"; 3) YOUR team filled out the loan application and falsified my income, inflating it by 300%. I told them my TRUE income but they TYPED in the bogus amount on the application not me. I would like to know how my signature got on that fake document; 4) When I approached you for the loan refi in late July and then again for a trade in on a much cheaper car in August the car was paid up in advance through Sept.; 5) I was forced into a repossession because your team told me that I could not transfer the car to a lower rate in my son's name and they refused to work with me on a trade in for a cheaper vehicle for him; 6) You "tried very hard" to refinance the vehicle in my son's name and mine? Because you refused to even try refinance the car in his name when I asked you too and my credit report shows that you never applied to any banks/credit unions after the car was purchased on March 30; 7)You told me personally that what happened to me was wrong and that Sutherlin Nissan should not be on the hook for the entire debt. You gave me ***'s contact info and told me if I could get them to cover part of the loss you would do the same and that you would confer with your managing partners about this. Whats the status on that offer?

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 24, 2019

Mr L I have always tried to help you when you have come to my store and I would still be willing to help just out of good customer service but I will not accept fault for this car going to repossession. I feel like you are blaming us for your son not making the payments and that is just not fair. I would be willing to give you $1000 to help in any way to resolve this issue but I don't know if $1000 will help now that the car has been repossessed.

The purchase of the vehicle exceeded the market price value. The contract required a loan of $25000, whereas the used car value is $10,440.
I entered a leasing contract with Sutherlin in July 2017. I was recently called on 07/12/2019 to come in for a vehicle appraisal to exit my lease early as there was a "promotional credit" occurring. I somehow ended up being coerced into buying out my lease, even though all parties were aware I have no intentions of staying with my vehicle forever. Under this premise, I was told things like "incentives would wash off the remainder of my loan" "it's a no brainers to sign the lease buyout" and "I do not have to carry out the fill 75 month term". The finance manager did not discuss any of the extra charges to the contract that equated to $25,000 such as Battery fee, NISSAN charges that have no true explanation. Moreover, he never discussed the cooling off period with me either. I contacted both the sales manager and finance manager the same day noting I want out if the contract immediately as predatory practices and undisclosed/dishonest materials in my contract were never presented to me. I spent 6-7 hours at the dealership wanting to leave and they kept me in there by trying to throw free cruises $1000 checks and anything else to make me sign those documents. I expressed I wanted out of the contract 6-7 times throughout the visit (which I have in recording) that I did not want to proceed and each time they'd allude to the idea that I already signed this document, so it's too late to backup or "I shook on it". I allowed them to do this to me the first time but I will not allow it the second time. The value of my vehicle was appraised at $10,440 to date and they forced me to enter into a $25000 loan with the manipulation and lies that I would not be burdened with the remainder. I asked for those statements in writing and the sales manager wrote on a piece of paper that "incentives improve over time" and signed it. I contacted the sales manager and finance manager and they were not willing to correct their coercive practices.

Desired Outcome

I would like to go back to my leasing agreement and cancel the lease buyout contract. I am by law, should be allowed to execute this decision as it has not even reached 24 hours and I have 3 days to return the purchase (contract) as it is a used vehicle.

Not sure why I am getting this Revdex.com complaint. The customer came in this morning after completing the deal last night and we let her out of the deal with no questions asked. Please reach out to this customer and see why she sent in this complaint as she was released from this deal on the morning of 7/15/19 and the numbers on this complaint are also completely incorrect so I believe she is not reading her contract correctly, he total amount financed was $19600 not $25000 like she is saying. None the less we let her out of the deal this morning with no questions asked when we did not have to as she signed a bonding contract. We did this out of good customer relations.

Customer Response • Jul 15, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The total contract is 24,??? and I rounded up to 25,000. Lets play with your numbers, even at $19600, I already lent out $10,200 for the 2 years I've had with my leasing contract. And you guys wanted me to take out an additional loan that would ultimately exceed the value of the original price of the vehicle! What was the most gut wrenching and hurtful was that I was guided to believe that this would be the best option for me and I should not worry about it because incentives would pay off the remainder? Thats poor financial advice. I filed this complaint prior to entering the office this morning as I thought what happened to my leasing contract was bound to happen again. I accept the resolution as I simply wanted to be out of the second contract. I asked for documentation that the finance deal would be unwind, even though I was expected to just accept it as word of mouth. So I am glad I asked for proof. Nonetheless, I appreciate the company for canceling the contract in good faith as I did not want this to happen for a second run.

dealership fail to submitt title/tag application and its been more than 40 days. Today is may 11th and they have yet to give me a new one.
I purchase a vehicle on march 23rd 2019 and my temporary tag expired on April 21st. Dealership did not contact me to let me know of the tag not being ready yet. I got a notice that my car was going to get towed for having an expired tag. I contacted the dealership for 2 weeks straight and they did nothing about it. Spoke with dealership manager and he also didn't do nothing in regards to my expired tag. I kept getting hung up and they would tell me to call the next morning. The first person contacted told me that I was missing information and thats why I haven't received the tag yet. I asked him why I was never contacted to let me know of this? The next person I spoke with told me that he would overnight another temporary tag and failed to do so. I called the following day and asked to speak with a manager. I asked why haven't they sent my tag yet and told me that they couldn't send me a tag. Called the next morning and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. Next day I drove 2 hours to dealership to see if they were actually going to ignore me in person. I went in today may 11th 2019 and they gave me another temporary tag.

Desired Outcome

They failed to give me a tag after 40 days when it should've been a maximum of 30 days. I was driving illegally for more than 10 days straight and got a notice that my car was getting towed. I made a first payment on the car and they have yet to give me my tag. Instead gave me another temporary tag. They lied, and were extremely unprofessional.

The "delay" was more than 40 days and I did go in person and gave me another temporary tag. I asked when did they submit the application and he stayed quiet. I have witnesses. They have given me horrible costumer service. Got hung up more than twice. I had to drive more than 2 hours for nothing. They do not communicate at all. And every time I call I get told something different. It shouldn't take a dealership more than 40 days for a tag while I was driving my car ILLEGALLY for more than 10 days and they did nothing about it. They "resolved" the issue because I GAVE THEM A TIME FRAME. I can not wait to change dealership! Horrible customer service from SUPERVISORS and sales rep. The calls are recorded and I have proof of how badly they have treated me.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • May 23, 2019

I agree with*** that we took way to long to resolve this tag issue. I apologize for this and I had a meeting with my whole finance team about it to make sure this does not happen to anyone else. It was a paperwork mistake and we should have reached out to her much earlier to get it resolved. I want to take care of her fist service on the house to try and make it up to her.

Really need this resolved as I don't want the odometer reading to increase. Got SUV with 5 miles, which they listed as 15, and now is approaching 40.
New SUV purchase date 3/26/19. Vehicle did not have a window sticker. Asked for it several times, was told they'd get one. Mother and I never told exact price, what options etc came with SUV. Contract never gone over for all items listed. We never discussed extended warranty or buying a maintenance plan, yet they were added as well as an item that was listed as NISSAN".Don't know what that is. Was told I'd get a check for trade equity, which was added to balance owed on trade in. When I got home, after dinner, having spent roughly 5 hrs at dealership, I was very tired due to my diabetes. Later, looked up Sutherlin, found the vehicle using VIN number and saw retail price was lower that what I was charged. It also showed an internet price that was even lower. No asterisk to indicate that there were qualification requirements.

Another item on contract they added the trade equity amount to the pay off on former sedan. Why?And what's Tax on Ancillary Products?

The difference in pricing with the add-ons is overc $15000. I contacted by text, the salesman that same night. Advised him what I discovered. He said he'd check on these and would get back to me. I had also indicated that I was getting uneasy about the transaction, and was considering canceling. Over the next few days more texting. Was told that other person who worked on the sale would call me.When he didnt, I got a hold of the first person the next day, was told person 2 was in a bank meeting and would call me. He didn't until I texted him on his phone. Long story short, Sutherlin supposedly told person 2 that it's too late, that the deal was done when I left with the new vehicle. If they had supplied the sticker with the price, and if they didn't delay answering me, I would have returned the vehicle within the 3 days. My trade in, was listed by Sutherlin in the used car area. My bottom line is that they take the $15000 off the price financed or they cancel the entire deal and return my tradein.

Also, accordingbto person 2 today 4/2/19, the dealership claims to have given me the trade equity check. Interesting, the address on my paperwork is in NJ and I'm here in FL at mother's home, taking care of her. They never called me to get the check.

Person 2 seems to want to help, but indicated he couldn'the get anywhere with dealership. He's in another state now, as it seems both he and person 1 were part of team that came in help with sales promotion as the dealership was overstocked.

I've contacted the Nissan consumer advisers, who took the into and was referring matter to regional specialist who should call me before end of business on Wednesday 4/3/19.

Desired Outcome

Price reduction of at least $15000 OR CANCEL the purchase with the return of my tradein.

THIS WAS A COMPANY WE HIRED TO PUT ON THIS SALE AND IT IS A NATIONWIDE COMPANY THAT PUTS ON THESE SALES EVERY WEEK AT VARIOUS DEALERSHIPS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. THERE WERE MANY WINNERS BUT THE PRIZES VARY DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER ON YOUR MAILER. IN THIS CUSTOMERS CASE THEY WERE A WINNER BUT THEY WERE NOT THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER. WE HAD A GREAT SALE AND HAD MANY WINNERS. I AM SORRY THIS CUSTOMER WAS NOT THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER AND THEY WERE UNDER THE IMPRESSION THEY WERE. WHEN THEY CALLED THE NUMBER TO VERIFY IF THEY WERE THE WINNER THEY WERE NOT TALKING TO ANYONE AT MY STORE THEY WERE TALKING TO A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANTY THAT PUT ON THE SALE. BUT THEY HAD TO COME TO THE DEALERSHIP AND MATCH THEIR NUMBER TO THE NUMBERS ON THE PRIZE BOARD IN THE SHOWROOM TO SEE WHAT THEIR PRIZE WAS. I AM SORRY THIS CUSTOMER IS UPSET BUT WE HAD MANY WINNERS HERE AND SOLD A LOT OF CARS TO VERY HAPPY CUSTOMERS.

As they stated - he hired this company to put on the sale. HE IS ACCOUNTABLE. LIED, ABOUT MANY WINNERS, ONLY ONES THAT WON. WERE PEOPLE THAT BOUGHT VEHICLES. I HAVE PROOF OF THIS! WHAT I WON, WAS NOT THE GRAND PRIZE. WHICH I PROVED WITH THE UPLOAD OF THE WOMAN THAT WAS TOLD SHE WON A $25,000 CAR or CASH. But, AGAIN - THEY LIED TO HER TOO. I READ THE FLYER SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE HOOK. THERE WAS NONE aka MATCHING THE NUMBER TO A BOARD IN THE DEALERSHIP WAS NOT STATED ANYWHERE ON FLYER! FRAUD DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING TO HIGH PRESSURE YOU TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE ONCE U R IN THE DEALERSHIP! NOT TO MENTION, WHEN I CALLED & SPOKE TO A WOMAN (Samantha-who does work at the dealership bc she answered an email via messenger) STATING TIFFANY (A PERSON THAT DOESNT EXIST-ITS A CODE WORD THE DEALERSHIP USES)WHICH I ALSO HAV PROOF OF! THE DEALERSHIP'S CODE FAKE PERSON WOULD ISSUE ME THE CHECK AND TO MAKE SURE I BRING IN MY ID WITH THE FLYER AND A CERTIFIED CHECK WOULD BE ISSUED IN THE AMOUNT OF $7500. GEORGE SUTHERLIN HIRED THE "SO-CALLED" ADVERTISING COMPANY HE IS RESPONSIBLE TO REWARD ME WHAT I WON $7500 & TOLD BY HIS EMPLOYEE, or as he puts it, an ADVERTISING COMPANY. HE OWNS THE DEALERSHIP _ HE IS RESPONSIBLE TO RUN WITHOUT COMMITTING FRAUD, TO GET INDIVIDUALS TO COME IN. As I stated - I HAVE PROOF, U HAVE TO BUY A VEHICLE, TO BE A WINNER. Which I proved to you in my uploads to Revdex.com. I ALSO HAVE HUNDREDS OF MORE WITH INDIVIDUALS WILLING TO COME FORWARD, AS WELL. WHICH PROVES SUTHERLIN LIES TO SELL VEHICLES. BECAUSE OF ME POSTING ON THE NET - I RECEIVED OVER 5K EMAILS STATING THEY DID THE SAME TO THEM. SUTHERLIN HIRED THE "SO-CALLED" ADVERTISING COMPANY. PERIOD END OF STORY. TIME FOR HIM TO BE ACCOUNTABLE! ISSUE ME A CERTIFIED CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $7500. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING / PRACTICES - TO GET INDIVIDUALS INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO HIGH PRESSURE THEM INTO BUYING A VEHICLE. SAMANTHA WORKS FOR YOU AND YOU HIRED THE ADVERTISING COMPANY. WHICH MAKES YOU RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE TO PAY ME WHAT I WAS TOLD, I WOULD GET IN A CERTIFIED CHECK $7500

As I stated and will again. What the business wrote is a LIE! HE IS PLAYING THE BLAME GAME!!! HE HIRED THE ADVERTISING COMPANY - HE IS ACCOUNTABLE NOT THE ADVERTISING BUSINESS!!! HE IS RESPONSIBLE TO ISSUE ME THE CERTIFIED CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $7500. Its stated absolutely nothing on the DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING / FRAUD / SCAM FLYER about matching the number to a BOARD WITHIN THE DEALERSHIP.I HAVE SEVERAL VICTIMS THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO & THE FLYER SENT TO ANOTHER TO PROOF IT. AGAIN, I WAS TOLD TO ASK FOR TIFFANY BRING IN MY ID & FLYER TO VERIFY MY NAME/ADDRESS MATCHED.THEN,A CERTIFIED CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $7500 WOULD BE ISSUED. *LIE: TIFFANY DOESN'T EXIST -PROOF OF DECEPTION, USED TO GET PEOPLE IN, TO HIGH PRESSURE UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES TO SELL A VEHICLE! LIE: Why I was told 2 bring in my ID, PROOF-CANT BUY A CAR W/OUT IT. ***LIE: THE GRAND PRIZE WAS A $25,000 VEHICLE OR CASH IN THAT AMOUNT. NOT $7500. ***ANOTHER LIE STATED BY DEALERSHIP. THE ONLY WAY TO SOLVE THIS IS TO GIVE ME THE CERTIFIED CHECK I WAS TOLD WOULD BE ISSUED ONCE I PROVED I AM WHO I AM, WITH MY ID. ***LIE: NO ONE ASKED FOR MY ID WHEN I ASKED FOR TIFFANY, JUST TRIED TO HIGH PRESSURE ME INTO BUYING A CAR.(Deceptive Sale Practices) I WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING & ALSO REPORTED THIS BUSINESS TO THE INSPECTOR GENERAL, DIVISION OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, THE FLA DIVISION OF CORPORATIONS & FTC. I HAV GOTTEN SEVERAL AFFIDAVITS FROM OTHERS THEY DID THIS TOO. THIS STOPS WITH ME! THIS DEALERSHIP WILL NEVER DO THIS TO ANOTHER PERSON AGAIN! We had this sale insured and we w9ould have loved for Darlene to have won the $7500 it would not have cost us anything and would have been great if she had won. It is not that she was the winner and we are trying to get out of paying her. The winner was insured so it would not have s=cost us anything. The winning number needed to match the number on the sales board in our showroom for her to win the $7500. When she called the company they told her she was a winner of one of the prizes and she had to come to our showroom to see what prize it was. I am sorry she was not the grand prize winner but it was not anything that I control. I have forwarded her complaint to the company that put on the sale and they said they were going to reach out to her and help resolve this issue.

We thought we were leasing a new car. The contract was for the purchase of a 2019 Nissan Sentra.
Returned the original car and leased another car.
On Jan 17, my husband and I went into Sutherlin Nissan Orlando to lease a new car. We met Calvin C (our Sales Consultant) and he introduced us to a 2019 Nissan Sentra. Bobby V (Finance Manager) handled the contract. My husband handled the transaction with Bobby. He would not answer any of my questions. He suggested the contract be in my name, since I had better credit. My husband took his word for it - 6 month at $575 (apply $1700 Credit) and the reminder at $275. I found the terms of the contact odd, but Bobby did not relate to me. We left with the leased car. Within a week, we received a letter from TD Auto Finance. They were charging us $575, but for 72 MONTHS! We had brought the car, not leased. We called TD Auto Finance and sure enough, the contract was for a purchase of a new car, not leased. TD Auto Finance recommended we return the car to Sutherlin Nissan Orlando. On Jan 25 (on the 8th day) we returned the car to Sutherlin Nissan of Orlando. My husband and I worked with Javier S (Sales Consultant) and leased a 2019 Nissan Sentra. On Jan 26, Rachel (?) returned the original car to our house and said we were responsible for the original contract. She recommended we wait for the loan to default, so TD Auto Finance can pick up the car. We were stunned. Now we had two cars (original and leased). As a result of the stress, my husband had to be admitted to the emergency room for high-blood pressure and A-Fib. He was in ICU for several days. Sutherlin Nissan did nothing to correct the situation. My son called TD Auto Finance and the CSR recommended we contact the car dealership. On 2/26 he spoke to U.S. *** (Managing Partner) and explained the situation. U.S. *** told him it would take a day to follow up. After several attempts, my son got a hold of him on 3/2. Basically we were responsible for the original contract, since the "bank" titled the car and we knew we were signing for a new car, not lease. Called again several times, because we had additional questions, but U.S. *** kept avoiding the calls on 3/2, 3/4 and 3/5. Why would you sell another car to senior citizens with a fixed income? We tried to talk to Bobby V on 1/26 and we were informed he was no longer working there. We were told to sell the car. We were told by TD Auto Finance that Sutherlin Nissan Orlando has the ability to CANCEL the original CONTRACT (aka Flat Cancel). I feel we have been taken advantage of in this situation and we have no recourse! We trusted Bobby V (Finance Manager). We are honoring our commitment with the leased car. That is what we expected when we entered Sutherlin Nissan Orlando.

Desired Outcome

Cancel the original contact for the purchased car and correct the credit report for both parties on the contract.

did come to Sutherlin and purchased a Nissan Sentra on a 72 month purchase. They signed many forms and a contract disclosing that they we on a purchase and it was for 72 months. They returned to our dealership one month later saying they did not understand that they signed a 72 month purchase. If thy had come in shortly after they signed the contract we could have helped and cancelled the contract but after a month the title was processed and there was not way to cancel the deal once the car is titled. They said they could not afford the car and we explained there was nothing we could do since it was already titled and explained that it would show as a repossession if they did not make the payments. They said they could not make the payments and they wanted to lease a new car with a lower payment. We explained to them 3 times that there was nothing we could do and they insisted that they wanted to give that car back to the bank and get a lease which is what we went ahead and did for them. We made it perfectly clear what they would be responsible for 2 cars and they chose to do the lease anyways. If there was any way we could have cancelled the old contract we certainly would have done that but once the car was titled there was nothing we could have done.

We bought a 2016 caravan and traded in 2013 caravan. The new car purchase was in my son's name and the car that was traded was in my husband name so we had paid for new tags of course and it was included in the fees for a new tag they took the old tag and gave us a temporary tag because we we're not transferring tags.So in September when the temporary tag was about to expire we called to see if our tags came in, they had said no so they went and gave us another temporary tag when those tags expired my husband called and asked if tags came, still were not ready in November when my husband went to the dealership they gave him one of their dealer tags and said that our tags were still not there then when I had called they told me that it was a DMV problem not there's so when I called the DMV in Orlando Maralyn said that sutherlin Nissan has had our new tag since October they had the tag when they gave my husband a dealer tag and now come December 13 we are forced to pay another $279 to get our tags that they are holding hostage until we pay it to them because they are now stating that we only paid for transfer tags, when I asked why if I paid for transfer then why do I have dealer tags and why if that was the case why didn't we just transfer old plate there that day, why would we need temporary tag? Manager stated he didn't know. I then asked if car traded in was in my husband's name and new car is in my son's name how could dealer not know would need new tag. I had pay double for my tags and I am a disabled 53 year old that needs my send to drive me to my doctor's appointments and Nissan has not listen the three managers do not do not pay attention and did not care.my husband informed manager that he is paying again but will be contacting Revdex.com and manager asked what is Revdex.com, really a car dealership wouldn't know Revdex.com?

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like first and a apology from southern Nissan and that also every fund of the 279 that I was forced to pay did you tell them holding my tags that they have had since October 22nd of 2018 and although they had it in November they gave my husband a dealer tag stating that are tags are still not in and then three stories later stating that we did not pay for new tax but a transfer tag I would like a refund

I WANT TO APOLOGIZE PERSONALLY TO *** FOR THE HASSLE THIS HAS CAUSED. IT LOOKS LIKE WE DID CHARGE HER FOR A TRANSFER ACCIDENTALLY AND IT IS OUR FAULT. I WILL REFUND HER FOR THE EXTRA 279 SHE WAS CHARGED AND HAVE A CHECK SENT OUT IMMEDIATELY. THIS WAS OUR FAULT AND I AM VERY SORRY.

Customer Response • Jan 25, 2019

Company has failed to send check or notification to this matter. Company response stated that they we're at fault and will send check still to date nothing. PkPlea help in ensuring company (Southerlin Nissan Orlando) follow though and not just type in response and do nothing.

My husband went 1/25/2019, and at first the same Manager that refused to look into the matter and doesn't know what *Revdex.comis apparently did not know about the company looking into it and realized that they did make mistake, until he was told by lady who came into his office. Thanks to the young lady stepping in, the overage of
$279. Was reversed onto *** Of course will take few days to post. I would like to thank the very nice young lady. I understand mistakes happen but it is how we resolve and treat customers that goes a long way. Thank you Revdex.com as well.

We had bought the car there and it wasn't already starting now it has a engine problem
The car is 2016 used and the guy who sold it too us know it was way too much but he still gave it to us anyways with its problems. Now since the car is having all sorts of problems I can't go to school and it's way too much money to pay every month including the insurance bill. She can't pay all of that buy herself me as her son I'm trying my best to help her out but we still be coming up short my father had died she wishes he was here. We went to the dealership she was crying and not one employee came to ask her what was wrong or even care to comfort her.

Desired Outcome

What we are trying too seek is that we are trying to give the car back to them without messing up her credit we are trying to get a lemon law.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Nov 13, 2018

The car has a extended warranty on it so any problems should be able to be repaired under the extended warranty. But we would be happy to trade the vehicle in on a new car with a lower payment. Please come back in to the dealership and ask for Nick and we will take care of trading you into a car with a lower payment. The payment on the car is only $229 a month so it is already very low but we can find something lower but it would have to be a inexpensive car to make the payments lover than $229.

Financing contracts is not fully thoroughly explained or shady adding of things not requested
10/13 I purchased a vehicle for my wife with Sutherlin Nissan.
After dealing with the sales team I was transferred to the finance people. I had requested for the price of the vehicle and gap to be the only things to be financed. Nothing else.
The finance representative added an additional 5000 dollars on services not requested like (MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT, SERVICE CONTRACT, SECURITY PLUS).
On monday 10/15 I called to complain and get those cancelled and was advise that Johnathan O was the finance guy and only guy that can change this. I kept on insisting to speak with a supervisor or another finance manager that can take care of it on the same day. After a few minutes I was on hold for over 30 minutes and was not able to get anyone with authority to make a change.

Desired Outcome

I am seeking a re-construction of the deal to remove all extras items that were not requested nor explained at the time of financing.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 16, 2018

These items are easily cancellable all you need to do is come back to the dealership to sign cancelation forms. All of these items were presented and you would have had to sign a menu choosing the items you wanted and also you signed the contracts on each of these items. We can easily cancel them for you though. Please come back to the dealership and sign the proper forms to cancel.

Good day,

I've already stopped by the dealership to signed a form that was not related to Nissan (see attached form)

Yes, a lot of things were signed but was not explained of the benefits and cost associated with the additional items pushed to the deal.

Eventho the cancellation can be done it does not do anything to re-structred the deal without the unwanted items. The money is suppossely going to go towards the principal of my loan.

I would like proof that the cancellation has been done and once Nissan gets the new account processed to also show proof of the $5249 was paid towards the principal of the loan.

Sutherlin Nissan Orlando Response • Oct 18, 2018

THE CANCELATIONS TAKE 30 DAYS TO PROCESS AND YOU WILL SEE THE CREDIT TO YOUR ACCOUNT SHORTLY AFTER THAT. THE MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE PRINCIPAL TO YOUR LOAN. EVERY CONTRACT YOU SIGNED HAD THE TOTAL COST OF THE PRODUCT RIGHT ON THE CONTRACT.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Good day,

Thank you for your response but I am getting conflicting information.

I have been in contact with Johanna G (jojo) personally after the finance manager stated that he had NOT received the cancellation form. Thankfully I had a copy and sent it to Johanna directly.

Per the last communication that I had with Johanna, she stated that the process usually takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks. Since the cancellation has to go with the different vendors. If the process can be accelarated to me done on the time fram of 30 days as you stated than that would be great.

I will keep my complaint open until it is completed with nissan and the $5,245 are put towards the principal.

Thank you for your time and help
