Dear Revdex.com,Sungevity recently filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. During these hearings the particular asset of [redacted] system was auctioned off and Sungevity no longer owns this relationship therefore we will not be able to assist with service work moving forward. [redacted] will want to reach out to the new owner to ask what this process might look like and how to move forward. Complaint:[redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I had no issue with my Roof prior to the Solar installation. My gutters were perfect and capped. I am seeing compensation for my gutter repair and the installation of a ROOF HEATER, so the Snow would no longer gather then Crash onto my property.
This is really either extreme incompetence or plain outright negligence.
 
ps: I just got a letter in the mail from Sungevity that they are filing for Bankruptcy...So they installed a system that for the next 20 years I'm paying for, but now they won't have to give support??????

We intend to reimburse him for his electricity bill as an apology for the inconvenience of a longer than expected installation timeframe. It bears noting that it was still a speedy install; just not as speedy as we’d communicated to [redacted] it was likely to be.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: so if I loose my Job am I no longer responsible for my lease due to the "liable to the other for consequential, incidental, punitive, exemplary, special or indirect damages"??? I have hired a Contractor to inspect and repair my gutters and it has been advised that due to the placement of the Panels I may need an ADDITIONAL heating system to negate the constant damage to my gutter system. This was NEVER explained, nor even hinted at, Before, During and after Installation.So I am seeing re-reimbursement for these additional changes and the repair.Also I want the LIEN removed from my Property which your CONTRACT (on page 5) specifically states you the LESSOR would not apply to my Property or House.I am also having an Inspector come from [redacted] County to inspect the Panels to make sure they were installed to spec.Sincerely,[redacted]

Myself as well as our preferred installer have communicated to [redacted] that we plan to complete this work this coming Tuesday, [redacted]. As far as receiving payment for underproduction, the[redacted] solar system does have an Annual Performance Guarantee. This is reviewed every year in...

[redacted]. If it is found he did not meet the guarantee, per his contract, he will receive payment to make up for any underproduction. I have let [redacted] know I am committed to getting his solar system up and running.
