My name is Alisha [redacted]. I went through these people because I wanted to do a forgiveness of debt on my student loan. They stated that I had to pay them $450.00, which this would go towards my student loan. I paid them in installments form October 2014 until January 2015.I am totally not satisfied with anything that these people have done. The money did not go towards my student loan. The lady later stated that the money was for a service fee that I didn't know anything about. Then they changed their number. After called Fed loan services about my account, which I didn't know that I had until I tried to create an account. I found out that they people at the student loan institute created an account for me and was not planning on giving me my user ID or password. She stated that, that's how she was able to keep track on my account. But I didn't have access to keep track of my own account. Is that even legal, to create an account for someone without them knowing. I was totally upset at the fact that they made an account without my knowledge and was keeping my user ID and password from me.
I think that these people are a fraud.
I feel that these people owe me my money in the amount of $450.00.
All of the information that they gave to me was a lie. I am totally not satisfied with these people at all.
I hate that I ever worked with these people.
Review: I was contacted by a financial advisor [redacted] about signing up with their program and that upon being accepted they would lower my student loan and I would only have to pay for 10 years and the rest of the loan will be forgiven. I sent them 291 dollars a month for 3 months and then they requested paperwork. I contacted them 2 weeks ago told them that I had all of the required paperwork now available, was I still able to be in the program. No one has returned my phone calls no one has returned my email request no one has contacted me at all. They were very quick to get my money but now I'm getting nothing from them in return and I'm still getting harassing phone calls from the original loan provider. I want to know if this business is legitimate, why they won't return my phone calls or my email request and I know they got the emails because I got a return receipt requested and if this is not a legitimate practice then I want my close to $1000 returned and out of this agreement.

I have reached out to client by phone and email with no response back. Our firm has been waiting on the client to provide the documents needed to submit the application for his consolidation. We have attempted multiple times to collect these docs and at no point has the client conveyed any concerns or displeasure with our service. I am here to assist him in any matter necessary to remedy the situation. We are still waiting for him to reply so that we can arrange to collect his docs and process his application. The client has never requested a refund from any of our employees. If he would have, the company would have obliged. I would like to hear from the client via phone or email and once that occurs, if he requests a refund, it will be given.
Review: I received a solicitation from Student Aid Institute to "receive benefits" to which I am entitled, "including TOTAL FORGIVENESS in some cases" through the "Reform Act Student Loan Program." They requested that I call to "complete my file" to access these benefits, and pretended to have personal information about me, including an eligibility number. I know that this is false and misleading advertising because I do not have any more unpaid student loans--definitely not "over $25,000" worth.Desired Settlement: I wish that companies that prey on students who are suffering under their debt burden were outlawed from engaging in their "business," but I realize that is very unlikely. I would like the Student Aid Institute to stop making indiscriminate and misleading solicitations. I will settle for them NEVER CONTACTING ME AGAIN. If they continue to send me solicitations, believe that I will post them to social media with my opinions about their quality/integrity/greed.

We reached out to Ms. [redacted] to apologize for mailing to her. Our company purchases data of individuals that they believe to have over $25,000 in student loan debt. Ms. [redacted] and I exchanged emails and hope that my sincerity came through. SAI is service that has assisted over 1500 individuals in receiving benefits they are entitled to. Our marketing partner has provided us with information about how they acquire data and this is what they provided. The personal information was obtained
exclusively from publicly available information such as telephone listings,
U.S. Census data, mortgage deed and tax assessment records, subscription lists
and summarized credit at the zip+4 level are also used in modeling. The
information was not obtained from a consumer reporting agency and accordingly,

Review: The ad on Facebook says they help with school loan debts and it shows President Obama and the word government. The sales rep says the programs are provided by the government. So it makes you feel that this service is backed by the government. The rep begins by making the situation I called him for to be a serious critical problem that I have got to get their help for. I am hesitant so he sends me links to show that what they do was featured on the news and time magazine and I think that they are also a .org and not a .com. After agreeing I find out I have to pay a start up fee and only after that they will submit my application to get approved and they will also get a part of my monthly payments to my school loans. I also have to get them my tax records before I can get approved. I feel like I don't have any other options. Before I sign the documents I ask that I can pull out any time and get my money back and he said yes. I set up where they will take $99.00 a month until I get the start up fee paid. After $300.00 I get a letter from my school lender and it shows that I owe. I call them and they have never heard of this company or what they do. Then I call the Department of Education and they said the same thing. I also see that the same thing I would pay them for would be easy and free to do myself. I called them to cancel and get my money back. He said I can't get the money back I paid because that is for the work they had done. He said that is for when they submitted my application for approval. I said that would be incorrect because I haven't submitted the needed paperwork and the whole fee hadn't been paid. He still refused to get me my money back. I also told to him to cease taking my money out he said he would and would send me a cancellation notice. I haven't seen the cancellation notice and the next scheduled payment has yet to come.Desired Settlement: I need my $300.00 refunded and confirmation that no more money will be taken out of my bank account. I want the truth out there about what this company does so that no one else falls victim. Because when I researched them I didn't see anything bad. Also, the web address and web site say "Student Aid Institute" not Student Aid Institute Inc.

Good Afternoon,
Review: I went to this company to seek help with student loan debt. After going through the initial process I waited two months and nothing was done. I paid nearly $975 for a processing fee and entrusted this company with my personal information. I called and I could only get ahold of my advisor (steve ). He stated that the company did there job and there would be no refund and it was just going to take more time. I did not agree with this. So I decided to investigate further and call my student loan company and they stated they had not been contacted by the student aid institute and there was no new activity on my account. I found out that everything this company does is easily done online. I went and got my payment reduced on the federal student aid website in the same fashion this company was going to do it. I called the student aid institute for two days straight and got nothing but a busy signal (this was the number on their web site (1888670SAVE). I was very unpleased with their service and I would like a refund of the $975 that was used for nothing. They state they have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed but that is just a lie.
Do not use this company, you are perfectly able to do what this company does in about 15 minutes. Where if you use them you are going to spend a bunch of money to get it done (if they ever get it done).

We have attempted to contact the client and he has not returned any of our calls or emails. If he is not satisfied with our service, we refund him his processing fee. We continue to work on his application and will do so even after refunding his money.
Review: My wife and I enrolled with the company to help set us up for the public service forgiveness loan. They sent us documentation that all of our loans would qualify and that we would save money by filing separately. They charged us an origination fee to handle the paperwork. One of our loans was a spousal consolidation loan and did not qualify for the program. These "specialists" claim to have never heard of such a loan but obviously made no attempt to verify the loans prior to us signing up. I requested a refund of the origination fee as per the agreement but they refuse to refund my wives portion of the funds stating that her loans were consolidated. 1/2 of the consolidation loan is hers and was not consolidated and now we are paying the same amount we were and ended up with more out of pocket cost due to splitting our tax return.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of both my wife and my origination fee and for the company to cease and desist representing us regarding student loans.

Response:
One
of the loans that they have through [redacted] is a very rare case as to which it
does not qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. They have a FFEL
Commercial Spousal Consolidation loan; the Department of Education does not
even allow these to be taken out anymore because of all the problems that have
come along with it. With that being said, this loan still qualifies for
forgiveness but it would be 20 years instead of 10.
The rest do qualify
for the 10-year loan forgiveness and have been successfully approved in the
program. All of the loans have lower payments than when we started and that is
what they paid us to do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business did not fulfil the agreement that was made. Per phone conversation and email correspondence with Student Aid Institute staff member [redacted], our loans were to be consolidated at a lower monthly payment and all loans qualified for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. All figures on the amount of the loans being forgiven by their business were drafted based on all loans qualifying in a 10 year forgiveness. Per a phone conversation with [redacted], another staff member at Student Aid Institute, she told us that this spousal consolidation loan was the first time they had ever run into this type of loan and had to research what to do. She advised us that she would not be charging us the monthly service fee until she was able to figure out the problem. To this date the monthly service fee is not being drafted from our account because [redacted] up to this point had not felt that they had finished the consolidation of the loans. After numerous attempts to get information from [redacted] we were finally able to reach [redacted] who advised us the [redacted] had left for a medical issue. She also confirmed that they did not know of this type of loan. Seems that if you are student loan specialists you maybe would be up to date and aware of all of the possibilities.
Review: The SAI told me they were going to consolidate my loans together and they they will talk with my loan providers and settle out everything once I made my initial payment of $100. I paid them and a month later they still have not done anything. my loan provider keeps calling asking for payment to them and they have not even spoken to anyone from SAI. I tried to call SAI to tell them about my problems and they gave me a run around telling me I still need to send a w2 and other items and give them my password to my loan services and power of attorney which sounded sketchy. After I told them I didnt not want to do all that they transfered me to a different person and this person was like talking to a brick wall. I tried to tell him I wanted to cancel but it was like that was an option he could not hear. He refused to listen to anything I had to say in why I wanted to cancel but he still demanded I give him my w2 and power of attorney. Then when I made a firm statement of wanting to cancel my plan he said he would transfer me to someone who would help me in the process and I ended up being on hold for a long time. They recently charged me again for 135 dollars and keep trying to take out additional payments. I would like for this to end immediately.Desired Settlement: I would just like to cancel my so called "repayment plan" with them and receive my money back which totals to 275.00 as of right now unless they try and take out more money.

Response:
First of all, I reached out to the client and he did not answer and his phone would not give me the option to leave a voicemail. I checked the notes on his account and the last correspondence from him was on September 9th, not the date he has given. Also, the account manager on his file is a woman, not a man, so there is no record of him asking for a refund. As for the request of documents, those are needed to complete the submission on his file. He was aware of those documents needed the day he signed his agreement with our firm. I would like to speak with the client at his convenience to go over his concerns.
Review: I was contacted by the company (I had requested information regarding student loan forgiveness) and was told I qualified to have my loan partially forgiven. The company had information about my student loan so I felt they were legitimate and provided them with information to proceed with the forgiveness and consolidation. As soon as I hung up the phone I felt like I provided too much information and called them back, only to get a message. I emailed two different people and the company directly with no response. I called my bank to make sure no payment was made for the 'enrollment fee' and was told I couldn't do anything until they tried to remove money.Desired Settlement: I would like a letter stating the consolidation/loan forgiveness is cancelled through Student Aid Institute. I want a written statement saying my information will not be used and no money will ever be taken for any reason. I want my private information destroyed in their company.

I exchanged emails with [redacted] in regards to her complaint with the Revdex.com. I forwarded her the cancellation confimation and she responded that she was satisfied and would withdraw her complaint.
Review: I was mislead to think that they were a government based buisness that would forgive 1/2 of my student loan. They stated that I had to pay 3 monthly installments of 381.00 and give them all the required documentations. Paystubs, power of attorney for loans and all the required documentation. Driver's liscence, taxes, copies of all loans owed. If I turned in the paperwork then the collections would stop and I could make 55.00 payments a month toward my student loans after all paperwork and feees were paid. This was a lie, they took 381.00 out of my account. I turned in all necessary paperwork and am still receiving letters and harrassing calls from collectors. I am very dissatisfied. They lied, took my money and did nothing, this has been three months going on. I want my money back alll 381.00 so I can apply it toward a payment myself and deal with a real government agency. I won't reccomend this agency to anyone because it's a SCAM.!! All phone calls have gone unanswered and you can't send them emails because it kicks back as not valid. I want my money back and no more dealings with this fraudulent company!!!Desired Settlement: Refund of the full 381.00 to my bank account with no more dealings with these people because they are fraudulent and have not done anything to help and they take more money.

Review: Student Aid Institute is not returning, or answering phone calls. They had not to my understanding consolidated my student loan with the pay off of what is granted for non-profits. I am at my wits end as a payment of $35.00 a month goes to this company with no one I can speak to with question.Desired Settlement: I request a consolidation of my student loan in line with what is granted to persons working non-profit. I request a phone number to a person who answers messages. If this company is a fraud I hope this complaint exposes the bad acts against me.
Review: I was contacted by this company to do a student loan forgiveness program. In the contract it states if I cannot receive it my fee will be refunded. They are now refusing to do so. This is not acceptable business practice.Desired Settlement: I would like my fee back. Totals $468

SAI performed the work that was required per the contract the client signed. Client received a new consolidated school loan and per the agreement. During the process the client decided to go back to school and now her new loan is in deferment until she is finished with school. Once finished, SAI would update her lender with the new loans taken out and she would be a new loan with a low payment. SAI has performed all services promised and the client is not entitled to a refund. This was explained to her and she understood, yet still complained with the Revdex.com.
Review: I would like to put in a complaint about the services Student Aid Institute has to offer, and they told me that they were created by the Federal Government, designed to assist people with their debt. I felt relieved that I had a way to make my financial status more feasible. I later discovered that student aid institute was dishonest with me about what they do and how their program works. I was also told that nothing was set in stone until I submitted the list of required documentation (one form was asking me to give them power of attorney over my student loans) and that there was a 100% guarantee of a full refund. They would not charge me for services not delivered. I realized this was a scam and that they are really just a third party charging me for them to file paperwork on my behalf with my current loan service. (They tried to manipulate me to think they are the "good guys" and that they were rescuing me from the "criminals" who operate my loan services and the program was created by the Federal Government to help people like me. Luckily, Sallie Mae advised me to check my facts and I very politely requested to cancel my services through SAI and the agent [redacted] got very angry and lectured me for about 10 minutes straight that Sallie Mae wouldn't be helping lower my payments if I didn't tell them I was working with student aid institute. The agent also asked me if this was Sallie Mae delivering me information to deter finalization and I did not provide that answer. I didn't turn in all of my documents. I NEVER gave them power of attorney. They had not performed any services for me, because they could not without the documents requested.. My payments they withdrew:
6/17/14- 131.66 $
5/20/14- 131.66$
4/29/14-131.66$. [redacted] tried to scare me into not filing my reimbursement by laughing and saying good luck basically because of the duration since we initated the process and I said I would like to still do that. I followed up about 1 week later and was told no.Desired Settlement: My money back for no services provided.

SAI took on this client in April of 2014. WE made 15 attempts to collect the documents needed to submit her consolidation. In June we received an email from the client stating how thankful she was to have SAI working on her behalf. At no point did she request a refund and disclose her concerns. SAI has made every attempt to perform on the client's behalf and has received no cooperation. SAI does not claim to be apart of the Federal Government. We are a third party, independent processing firm that handle the submission process for it's clients.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Student Aid Institute advised me more than once that they were operated by the Federal Government and never once was I told SAI was a third party. They did not receive an email from me saying I was thankful or satisfied and I would like to see this. They did not reach out 15 times and I have been nothing but cooperative and polite. In fact, SAI had a huge lack of professionalism due to false information and a lack of communication with in their departments. For example, I was told I was having services cancelled and then [redacted] with a different outcome saying its fine and this was not the case. After I cancelled via phone with [redacted], a week later I received an email from Bonita saying "You have three days to get in touch with Student Aid Institute and failure to do so will result in cancellation" This was after my discussion and cancellation of services.. [redacted] told me that I would save 350$ monthly and in actuality this was not the case. I was paying the same amount in total. This was a huge concern for me. I held off and tried to voice my concerns and had no response on their behalf unless it involved collecting more money from my account. I called [redacted] to discuss these concerns at length and he had no problem telling me that everything was fine and I would need to make more payments. As soon as I advised [redacted] I would not be proceeding with SAI he got very upset and was not able to assist me in anyway and only spoke about Sallie Mae and how bad they are trying to invoke the fear in me once more. This is not acceptable, I work as a Social Worker and do not make my money in unethical ways and neither should SAI. This is wrong and I pray and hope SAI stops taking money from innocent hard working individuals that can be used to pay off their actual debts.

Dear Revdex.com,
Review: I began receiving emails from the Student Aid Institute during the summer of 2013. I am recently graduated and began receiving loan repayment information from federal lenders around the same time. Having checked my email, I was under the impression the Student Aid Institute was a federal loan service and was unaware of their third part intentions. I received multiple emails throughout the summer and I foolishly agreed to pay $695.00 to begin receiving loan consolidation services from the Student Aid Institute.
Upon discovering this is not a federal program, I realize the services they offer can be achieved by talking with your lenders directly without paying $695.00 for 3rd party fees. After the initial payment, I am to be charged monthly $39.00 for services I did not initially want or need. Further, I feel preyed upon by this company and my naivety was fully taken advantage of. I am a federal wildland firefighter and my summers hours are dedicated to public service. I was in contact with this company during my days off after months of firefighting. My time was spent trying to set up loan repayment thinking this was a federal repayment service. I wished I was made aware that this company was not a federal program and their services were not necessary to begin paying back my student loans. I asked their customer service representative why I would pay them an additional monthly fee ($39) when that money could be applied to my loans directly and sooner paid off? I ask any potential customer of this company the same thing.
I don't feel it should be legal for companies like this to prey upon consumers who have full intentions of paying back student loans and are trying to set up repayment plans with their lenders. If I would not have been interfered with by this company, I would have consolidated my loans (the only service provided to date) and have $695.00 to pay towards my loan balance.Desired Settlement: After speaking with a customer service representative, I have requested immediate removal from Student Aid Institute as well as a refund of my $695.00. I want to immediately withdrawal from any future services offered by Student Aid Institute. I want any contract and/or contact severed from this company after they have agreed to end all alleged services.

Review: I inquired about the services Student Aid Institute has to offer, and they told me that they were created by the Federal Government, designed to HELP people with their debt. That they are really just a third party charging me for them to file paperwork on my behalf with my current loan servicers (THEY NEVER TOLD ME THIS...THEY SPOKE TO ME LIKE THEY WERE RESCUING ME FROM TERRIBLE LOAN SERVICES and the program was created by the FEDERAL GOVT to HELP..like a welfare program). I NEVER turned in the documents. NEVER gave them power of attorney. They HAD not performed ANY services for me, because they could not without the documents requested. I only made a phone call inquiring about their program. They withdrew $248.00 out of my checking account. I called them immediately and told them to cancel my inquiry. I was not interested and would not be sending them my documents. I was very nice to them and gave them ample opportunity to refund me my money. I waited a day. Called them two more times. FINALLY received an e-mail stating I would not be given a refund.Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND of my $248.00 and absolutely NO FURTHER charges coming from my bank account.

We spoke with the client directly and satisfied her concerns. She was refunded and the file was cancelled. She said she was going to withdraw her complaint with the Revdex.com and we thought that would remedy the situation.
Review: Over a year ago, StudentAidInstitute agent contacted me regarding a student loan consolidation. They told me it was a 10-year repayment then afterward whatever amount I still owe will be forgiven due to a new Forgiveness Act. At this time, I was trying to pay off my loans as soon as possible; the majority of my paychecks were going straight into my loans. After calculating out my options, I noticed that the total amount if I paid off my loans as soon as possible compare to the total amount under the 10-year repayment plan was only off by $28K. This is $28K over a period of 10-year. After much consideration, I accepted their offer.
During the approval application, when emails and documents were exchanged, I noticed twice that the repayment duration period was not 10 but 20 years, even up to 30 years. I pointed this error out to the agents, but they reassured me that the application was still pending and to disregard the numbers, and that it was in fact only 10 years. I trusted them.
Few weeks ago when I called the federal loan directly (mygreatlake.org) regarding my annual renewal application for this Forgiveness Loan, I was informed that my repayment period was 20 years! I called StudentAidInstitute and forwarded them all the emails regarding their promises that it was only 10 years. If I have known that the repayment period was 20 years, I would have never signed up since instead of paying off my loan over a few years, if I have gone through with the 20 year repayment plan I would end up paying double, even triple my loan amount. It makes no sense to sign up with the agency to have my loan triple. StudentAidInstitute respond to my complaint by stating: at least they consolidated my loans, even through under false pretense. Now they refuse to refund me the application fee and monthly fee that they are still charging my account for maintenance fee. This is faux, and bait and switch.Desired Settlement: I just want a full refund of the application fee and all my monthly fee.

SAI performed the consolidation and repayment placement it was hired to do. Once we found out the client was upset, SAI offered to refund all of the monthly fees the client has paid, even though SAI has performed a re-submission on behalf of the client. SAI will still refund the client the monthly fees and will continue to resubmit for the client if needed at no cost.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Please understand that, SAI did NOT offer to refund any monthly fees at all. They ignored tons of my calls and emails once the issue was bought to their attention. In fact, the only email response I got from their CEO, stating that they will not be able to issue a refund for me since I still qualify for loan forgiveness and they did succeed in lowering my payment. I still have the original email and can forward it to you as proof. In addition, I had to go to my bank and asked them to block SAI from their monthly automatic withdrawal since I asked SAI numerous times, over a month period, to deactivate my account once I discovered this faux business.
Review: SAI contacted me about consolidating my students loans and I enrolled both my husband and myself into their program with a commitment of paying an installment fee. During that process my husband was contacted by a wage garnishment company even though we had been paying the installment fees to get both our loans consolidated. Around $350 was paid for my husbands consolidation loan program to be told that SAI was in the process of consolidating his loans and that everything would be fine. His wages were going to be garnished and a payment of $212 a month was required from his student loan. SAI failed to put him into their program and was never refunded that money. I have been in contact with 3 different people each one saying that I should talk to lance neumeyer or whatever his name is, tried reaching out to him never got a response. The several women who run my account say they would talk to him and get back with me or someone would figure it out. Almost a year and nothing has been done. I have been enrolled in the program since October 2014 paying a $27 fee per month, no one ever called when I would reach out no one ever answered the phone. But as soon as my card expired and they didnt get their payment they contacted me pretty fast, I called numerous times sent emails about calling so they could have the new numbers for the payments reached out and no response of any kind, it took almost 2 months to get my new card on file. I was never told of NAVIENT and what the parameters of the program was. I was told they would consolidate my loan calculate a monthly plan with a fee so I could pay it all in one place. I received information that the calculation for repaying my loan was only the $27. 7/11/15 I received a bill for NAVIENT for $408 due on 7/15/15 per my request for a low income based repayment plan. I never requested this I never talked to anybody from this place. SAI has not been in contact with me in the past month.Desired Settlement: I no longer wish to do business with SAI. Whatever they did with my student loans they need to undo it and the damage they have caused. My student loans need to reverted back strictly to the department of education and that is who I wish to do business with from here on out. I would like a refund on my husbands account that he never had with SAI in the amount of whatever % of the loan was required to get into the program. In a perfect world I would say the same for my fee, since the SAI has failed in every attempt to do their jobs.

Hello [redacted]!
Review: While I was unemployed in 2013 I received information in the mail fro the Student Aid Institute about consolidating student loans. After more research through the Revdex.com website and talking with [redacted] my student loan holder I feel that I don't need this service because the only actions performed on my student loan accounts have been made by me personally. I have been completing the same task yearly that I have been paying $39.00 a month in maintenance fees to Student Aid Institute since 2013 as well as the $315.00 processing fee I was initially charged. I will be having my banking institution to stop all further payments to this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for all the maintenance fees I have paid up to this point as well as a refund of $315.00 dollars for their processing fee. I also want this company to destroy all of my personal information and no further contact from this company.

Response:
We have been in contact with the client. We sent him a copy of the original application we submitted on his behalf. We also forwarded him a copy of the re-submission application for this year. We have stopped all charges and the client is now responsible for future resubs. SAI performed all work the client hired us to do and is not entitled to a refund. We have reached out to the client with no response. He is aware that we did the work required.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
I have not received any of these copies they claim they have sent out. I have also not had any communication with this company even after I called and left a message with my callback number a few weeks ago. They claimed they have submitted documents on my behalf to my loan holders, but when I asked [redacted] about any changes being made to my account by anyone other than myself the answer I received was no. The documents that I fill out every year is what has determined my repayment plans, so I ask again why am I paying you anything when I'm taking care of the situation myself. As I stated I would like a full refund for my deposit as well as all the monthly fee payments I have made. I want to use that money to pay down my student loan account and not just give it away for nothing.
Student Aid Institute I felt tricked me into giving out my banking information and then they have been automatically withdrawing money from my checking account monthly for the last year plus and that is after I paid the outrageous cost to consolidate all of my loans. After talking with my lender FedLoan Services they said that they could have done everything that the Student Aid Institute did but for no cost. I have heard that they are a scam and I want to be sure that the money I am paying each month is going to pay off my student loan debt but the number I had for them has been disconnected and the number that is listed on the website is automated and I have gotten no one when I have tried calling the past few days. If this is in fact a scam which I feel it is then this $39 / month since last April 2014 adds up to be $780 that I would like to be refunded or had applied directly to my student loans because that is quite a bit of money!! I feel like I was tricked and I feel that is what this company does by taking advantage of to many uninformed people!!!
Review: I began the process to consolidate my student loans with this company over six months ago. I paid $1200.00 for the consolidation into the loan forgiveness program. The consolidation was only supposed to take the 3-4 months until the fee was paid in full. However, it is still incomplete, the company does not communicate with me until I contact them again each time I get a past due bill from the federal loan. Each time I contact the representative, I get an excuse as to why it still isn't complete, she makes a promise that it will be complete within a few days and then I get no further correspondence until I get another past due notice from the federal government. I have attached the representative's contact information below.
