We've been receiving energy services for over 18 months and we never considered switching. Really good service. Thank you!

Never had an issue with them until my last month they claimed I used 1238 watts that month, however they send weekly emails telling you about your usage and upon adding that up the total came to 946 total watts that month. Charged me $30 more for that month because I went over my 1000 watts. Everyone I tried talking to kept telling me it was 1238. So either their emails they send each week are wrong or they can't add.

I signed up with Stream in November 2016 at $.0798 per KWH. In Sept 2018, they increased my rate to $.13 per KWH since they said my contract rate expired and now I was month to month. They said they notified me before Sept 8 about renewing but I do not recall receiving anything from them. I am on budget billing so did not notice the increase until December when I got a bill that settled out the year and it was about $200 more than my normal monthly bills. So when I inquired as to why I owed so much, I learned they increased my KWH rate without my knowledge So we used 3373 KWH in October and November and if you multiply that by the $.05 increase in KWH price, you get $168.32. That's how much extra they charged me for October and November but I wasn't made aware until December with the "year end settlement" bill. I called Stream today to cancel with them so it would default back to my electric company (BGE) who charges %.08 per KWH and Stream told me it will take 1 to 2 billing cycles to complete my cancellation which means they can continue to bill me at the $.13 per KWH rate during these cold winter months while we are using the heat until they can get the cancellation through. With computers, why would it take 1-2 billing cycles to cancel my service??? These are deceptive business practices.

I'm a man of a few words so I'll just say what I came here to say. I wish we knew about Stream's mobile and data plans earlier, specifically their plans for calls towards Mexico and Canada. We would have saved a ton over the last few years. Anyways, we're all on the plan now and we couldn't be more satisfied with it. It's like their mobile/data plan was specifically made for our situation, we fit in perfectly!

Earlier this year their support reps took longer than expected to sort one of our issues, that's why we're not leaving stellar feedback across the board. Other than the single issue we experienced, Stream seemed as a very good provider for our energy services. Definitely a worthwhile company to consider as a long-term solution!

Stream's energy service has been reliable, albeit expensive a bit at first, they're still our number one choice. I believe we get our money's worth and then some because of their fast support system and actual, reliable representatives. Very likely the best energy service in the area in the long-term.

I am currently a customer of Stream, I've been with the company for over a year and a half, at multiple residences, and have never had a problem with their service, I anticipated a charge when I moved out of my old house, and there wasn't one because moving nullifies the contract, and I was immediately able to start a new contract with them.

I've been a client for over two years now and while we didn't have any issues that whole time, we did have a miscommunication issue in August, so just over a month ago. There was a billing issues after we changed our business address but I don't have to go into much detail here. There was an honest mistake on their part and what happened was a swift apology and correction of the issue, which makes me want to keep relying on Stream's energy service even more. I'm a very detailed-oriented kind of person, and I don't let things slide. That's why they get 4 stars. Besides the single billing issue in two years, they deserve a full 5 star rating across the board. I'll come back in 6 months.

Zero issues with their energy service in five years. Hands down the best energy provider in Dallas, TX. Just my opinion.

Coming out of TX in 2016 and moving into NY all while starting one of the leading startups in the area we decided to use Stream Energy as our main energy service provider. Needless to say (rated 5/5) - we're very satisfied with service rates and the service itself in general. Managing a startup from zero to something is very time consuming, leaving very little room for hassles with energy companies or any other service provider we use to accompany our business launch. Luckily, we didn't have any issues with Stream, and they have fulfilled their obligations to us on the dot, as we have towards the them. In summary, I recommend Stream Energy as a reliable, professional energy service provider!

I think Stream is one of the good guys. I mean they're no saints, they'll charge a good rate for their energy service, but you actually get your money's worth. After contracting with Stream for a year now, I will definitely stop dealing with other, new, budget energy companies that promise things they cannot deliver, and will much rather pay more to have a professional service. In short, proud client of Stream Energy for year and one month now, no issues whatsoever. It's a huge relief when you're trying to run a business and at least you know a company like this has your back. This is heaven for me because in the past, I used to have to be on the phone all the time with other, cheaper energy providers, but I've found out the hard way that those companies only look good on the outside, and on the service. Stream doesn't try to be that, they don't blindly promise EVERYTHING just to sign up, I've found their personnel is straightforward and tell you as it is. It's been a year and so far they've lived up to everything they've promised. I will review again in six or 12 months-time.

This is the worst experience I've had with an energy provider. Their website is horrible at loading payment methods. Loading takes forever or just doesn't happen. I've had to do it on my phone and even then there was an error. They also charge you a convenience fee to pay your bill. I've had service with Direct Energy, Green Mountain, Dynowatt and none of them have ever charged me this. I've had to call 3 times to inquire about getting my payment posted and because their system failed to catch an error I am now being charged $50 extra on my bill. After a month and a half of having their services I have decided to switch. I'll eat the cancellation fee to not have to deal with these ridiculous issues going forward. Thanks for the headache Stream Energy. I definitely do not recommend.

THIS COMPANY *** Came home today to my gas being turned off I got no notice. They have my email (paperless billing) my phone number as well as my address and I got nothing. I do not get paid till Friday and they refuse to turn it on. I have had service with them since 10-01-2016 and have never allowed my service to get turned off I am very upset.

Good customer services, good rates and people that we talked with. Trustworthy, and transparent.

Poor service, poor customer service and unreasonable charges. Would never recommend this guys to anyone.

I "tried" a total of three different energy companies/services in the last two years and so far Stream energy has been looking like the most reliable. There are cheaper services out there, and I was naturally attracted to those first, but only to end up having to cancel contracts because they simply did not work efficiently. Not as advertised. Stream Energy is a bit more pricier perhaps but I think if you need a long-term solution it all pays off very nicely. You don't have any issues, hassles, saves time and your nerves. I really used to get stressed with the other companies on the phone. This time I'm actually able to relax and trust everything will be fine, something you can't put a price on!!!

This is my story and the beginning of a journey with Stream Energy, I first came across with Stream Energy when I was stuck with a bill of $1230 which if you break it down one month, my bill was $830 and the second month was $400 and it's not because I live in a mansion with 10 rooms but because my AC had some issues and it was running on 24/7 and of course because like most people you spend more time working than being at home I didn't notice it right away. When I finally saw my first bill I got in contact with the company I had which I will not say the name for the fact that I don't believe that would make my testimony any more real but neways I called them and asked what was the reason for such high bill , I was used to paying $350 or even $400 and thought it was ok but when I received that $830 bill for one month I can assure you they definitely got my attention. No help came from that call and that's when I knew it was time to shop around and to my luck I became a customer of Stream and the rest is a wonderful story I can honestly say today and not only was I a happy customer

8 years as a customer and no problems; time for renewal and was going with another energy company until I read the reviews & complaints we are staying with Stream. Did other companies search by far Stream still rates with good reviews, less complaints compare to other companies. Now to choose a new plan with Stream.

Considering what kinds of hassles I've been thought with other energy companies... Stream Energy deserves 10 start not 5!! Very easy to sign up with and the energy service itself works as advertised if not better. Thank you!!! Very good experience so far.
