Review: this business did not provide the service that I was looking for the communication and the service was bad. the roofers did put the new roof on my house but, damaged the south side of my house and my neighbors house with black marks from shingles . and I just had my house painted 4 years ago. they did not put the flashing around my chimmney and they took my gutters down with out my permission and did not plug up my vents in my attic and the two man that owns the business never called me to see if everytning was ok bad service. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends. I did find another contractor to finish up some of their mess . I call [redacted] up many times and the office no reponse from either one of them [redacted] or [redacted]. and just the other day Jan. 15. who came to my house one of their cousins and with another man if I wasn't home at that time they would have done the wrong work on my house I think ? [redacted] and [redacted] never called me to let me know this and the two man really didn't know what was going on ? bad bad bad serviceDesired Settlement: I went them to clean up my house and my neighbors house whatever it takes to do the right thing and some $$$$ back for my aggravation with this company .thank you

We had been in communication with Mr. [redacted] and did agree to meet with him to look at any damages that did occur during the tear off process which can happen. I spoke with him and agreed that I would call the following week to set up an appointment time to meet and that in the mean time I would send out our gutter crew to complete the work that was originally contracted. When my gutter crew arrived [redacted] kicked them off of the property and stated that he had another company that he hired to do the gutters. I was in contact with the other company and found out that he had offered them a discount in trade for materials that we left over from the roofing job. Those materials are ours as we order our materials "heavy" to avoid having to run more out, we then take the extra materials and return them for credit for future jobs. This was discussed with [redacted] and he knew those materials were ours and not his. We have made every attempt to "fix" the situation , however he was no longer willing to work with us. I cannot justify any discount or money back as we did try to complete the contract and further more he gave away aprox $500 of our material. We are still willing to go to the property and repair any damages to his and his neighbors house , however it is very difficult if he will not allow us to do so

The stendahl exteriors company of West Bend Wisconsin [redacted] and [redacted]. on December I believe it was the second week or the third week of December right before the Christmas holiday their help came on Tuesday 5 man nobody call me to told me that morning nobody called me to tell me that these men were coming to put on a new roof. Caught me by surprise they tried to move all my stuff from my patio except one chair that they broke with the shingles from the roof. I had to go to work and I left my house around 11:30 a.m. When I came back there were black marks on the Southside of my house my gutters were gone [redacted] and [redacted] never call to see if the roofers( their help) did a good a good job they never called me and they never came here to inspect it that was a wrong move on their part by not getting back with me. I called their office several times I called [redacted] the only time when [redacted] returned my message is when I text him with some pictures of the damage on my house to his cell phone he responded back saying (who ) is this he didn't know who I was not good service. When somebody is in business it's their duty to make sure everything went well with their help and it didn't. and the material they left behind was sitting on my front lawn for several days damage my lawn if not weeks. I had to cover it before it rained or snow. I decided to pick up the material and put it in my garage I don't believe it belongs to them anymore with the work that I did they should have done this not me ! they could not provide me with leaf guards. I don't even think [redacted] knew what was going on. When they sent two other men over to do my house to put gutters on they never called me to let me know that they were coming if I wasn't home at the time they would have put on the gutters without me being there not good communication on their part. I would not recommend this company to any of my friends this list could go on and on and on. Did they try to communicate with me yes ! only, only when I told the two young men not to do the job on my house for the gutters they didn't know what was going on at the time it wasn't their fault. then one of the men call [redacted] told [redacted] about the problem only then [redacted] called me to try to communicate with me it was too late for that for the inconvenience that this company put me through and let me in the dark not showing up to inspect the problem .and here are the pictures I still don't have gutters and I still don't have the flashing around my chimney because of the snow but that should have been all put on the day when the shingles were put on my house not later on the same day. I did talk to other contractors and they even said they would have have put the gutters on the same time after the roof was finished the same day or the day after. this letter is a little bit long but I want to make sure I put everything in here that should have been spoken. they owe me apology and they told me to repair my side of my house and my neighbors house I would not recommend this company to anybody that I know that's all I have to say thank you very much from [redacted] Milwaukee Wisconsin

I have worked with many contractors over the years and Stendhal is the worst I have ever used. They lie and lie and deceive over and over and over.
Years later I still have problems everywhere.

stendahl exteriors dos not pay their bills

we had hail damage on our roof and siding and some of the deck boards were warped and they didnt replace them. they were supposed to side one side of the house and repair all other sides that were hail damaged with old siding first of all my insurance quoted me for the long side of house they charged me to do long side and did front side instead.there are still hail damaged pieces of siding they didnt replace and the ones they did do they used the new sideing. very unprofessional and broke my new motion light and door bell ringerand denied it.absolutley a horrible experience with this company. they were always out of town or something was up.they kept putting us off and then just showed up without letting us no. trust me they are not honest or professional about anything. I would not ever have them near my house again. and the job still aint done thats why I haveant paid in full yet.my neighbor had a quote from them and has not heard from them in months. e mail me and I will have them call you
