The stendahl exteriors company of West Bend Wisconsin [redacted] and ***on December I believe it was the second week or the third week of December right before the Christmas holiday their help came on Tuesday man nobody call me to told me that morning nobody called me to tell me that these men were coming to put on a new roofCaught me by surprise they tried to move all my stuff from my patio except one chair that they broke with the shingles from the roofI had to go to work and I left my house around 11:a.mWhen I came back there were black marks on the Southside of my house my gutters were gone [redacted] and [redacted] never call to see if the roofers( their help) did a good a good job they never called me and they never came here to inspect it that was a wrong move on their part by not getting back with meI called their office several times I called [redacted] the only time when [redacted] returned my message is when I text him with some pictures of the damage on my house to his cell phone he responded back saying (who ) is this he didn't know who I was not good serviceWhen somebody is in business it's their duty to make sure everything went well with their help and it didn'tand the material they left behind was sitting on my front lawn for several days damage my lawn if not weeksI had to cover it before it rained or snowI decided to pick up the material and put it in my garage I don't believe it belongs to them anymore with the work that I did they should have done this not me ! they could not provide me with leaf guardsI don't even think [redacted] knew what was going onWhen they sent two other men over to do my house to put gutters on they never called me to let me know that they were coming if I wasn't home at the time they would have put on the gutters without me being there not good communication on their partI would not recommend this company to any of my friends this list could go on and on and onDid they try to communicate with me yes ! only, only when I told the two young men not to do the job on my house for the gutters they didn't know what was going on at the time it wasn't their faultthen one of the men call [redacted] told [redacted] about the problem only then [redacted] called me to try to communicate with me it was too late for that for the inconvenience that this company put me through and let me in the dark not showing up to inspect the problem .and here are the pictures I still don't have gutters and I still don't have the flashing around my chimney because of the snow but that should have been all put on the day when the shingles were put on my house not later on the same dayI did talk to other contractors and they even said they would have have put the gutters on the same time after the roof was finished the same day or the day afterthis letter is a little bit long but I want to make sure I put everything in here that should have been spokenthey owe me apology and they told me to repair my side of my house and my neighbors house I would not recommend this company to anybody that I know that's all I have to say thank you very much from [redacted] Milwaukee Wisconsin
We submitted the warranty paper work and sent to *** *** on 7/15/
This is a response in regards to *** *** we completed his project quite a while ago originally what happened was the insurance company released his depreciation for the roof work that we did which was supposed to go to us however *** *** took that money and claimed he thought it was
for his siding which honestly doesn't make sense because he already received his upfront money for his siding we worked with him for a long time and he kept promising that he was going to pay us and that his insurance company was going to release additional money to get us paid for our roof work now there is a warranty issue with the shingles and he is refusing to pay us for the work that we did it is not our fault that *** took our depreciation for our rough work and spent that he is using this as an excuse not to pay us even though it is clearly a warranty issue we are more than happy to repair replace or fix any of the issues on his roof provided he pays us for the work that he did as long as I have been in business it has never been common practice for somebody to hold back payment on a warranty issue we cannot go there and repair his issues without getting paid because I firmly believe that if we do we still will not get paid if this problem is not resolved by *** in a very timely manner I will proceed with further action including but not limited to filing a claim with the insurance commissioner in the state of Wisconsin for insurance fraudAttached is a certificate of completion which he signed stating that all the work was complete and that he was happy with the work that was completed.Thank you *** ***
We had been in communication with Mr*** and did agree to meet with him to look at any damages that did occur during the tear off process which can happenI spoke with him and agreed that I would call the following week to set up an appointment time to meet and that in the mean time I would
send out our gutter crew to complete the work that was originally contractedWhen my gutter crew arrived *** kicked them off of the property and stated that he had another company that he hired to do the guttersI was in contact with the other company and found out that he had offered them a discount in trade for materials that we left over from the roofing jobThose materials are ours as we order our materials "heavy" to avoid having to run more out, we then take the extra materials and return them for credit for future jobsThis was discussed with *** and he knew those materials were ours and not hisWe have made every attempt to "fix" the situation , however he was no longer willing to work with usI cannot justify any discount or money back as we did try to complete the contract and further more he gave away aprox $of our materialWe are still willing to go to the property and repair any damages to his and his neighbors house , however it is very difficult if he will not allow us to do so
We are taking care of the issue this Friday

Stendahl exteriors came to our house due to hail damage they were able to get us a new roof and gutters all we had to pay was our deductible. The process was very simple and they did a great job.
they done a great job were kind and curtious ,from the owner to the crew that put the new roof and gutters on I would highly recommend them to anyone. thanks again for the great job [redacted].
we hired them to do our roof. The entire experience was very pleasant. They were very knowledgeable in products and completed everything according to the contract. It was one of the more pleasant experiences I've had when it comes to working on my home. I would recommend this company to anybody looking to have any exterior work done. We are extremely happy with the outcome and all work was completed in a professional manner.
What an amazing company, they were timely and did what they said they would do. The price was excellent with new exterior and roof I couldn't be happier.
Review: Paid for a new roof install, new facia and soffit install last November. Facia is falling off the house, almost struck my family. Roof is leaking around the chimney, water into the house. And there appears to be damage to one of my gutters from the roof install. I have emailed two times and called and left 2 messages. No reply.Desired Settlement: Fix the facia, seal the roof around the chimney and fix the gutter. Do the job they were paid for.

In early August Steve from Stendahl exteriors stop by our house and let us know that we might have hail damage from the storm on August 2nd they did a quick inspection and advise me I did have hail damage they were able to work with my insurance company and get my insurance company to cover the cost of a brand new roof they were extremely professional and did exactly what they said they were going to do the owner of the company Jason even stop by to make sure the job was going according to plan had they not stop by I would not have even known that I had hail damage I am very grateful for them helping us and would recommend them to just about anybody they were courteous on time professional and did a great job my house looks outstanding I have sent referred them to two other people and I believe they're going to be doing work for them as well all in all my experience was a 10 out of 10
Review: Roofing was complete 11 months ago and I have not received warranty paperwork. When I have talked to them I was told they had problems getting it but I would have it soon. I have called many times but they do not return phone calls.Desired Settlement: Give me warranty paperwork.

We have provided services to Stendahl until they stopped paying their bills completely. Having spent almost an entire year contacting them and having the receptionist give us the same response of "I let them know", we tryed to work out payment plans. I have yet to talk to anyone other than the receptionist and just seem to be getting the run around.
As a business, Stendahl knows how critical it is to get payment from customers. If they can't pay their own bills or even have a discussion about what to do, I can only imagine how they treat customers.
Review: Stendahl replaced our roof back in December, which they pushed to do when we advised we wanted to wait until spring. There are issues with the shingles as we have waves and shingles that are not laying down. We have had contact with Stendahl and they have come out to look at the roof. It was stated that they would need to replace parts or possibly the entire roof. We have not heard anything back and no one will return our phone calls.Desired Settlement: We want the roof replaced.

Stendahl Extreriors was under contract to do work for our business until all work was completed. They were not here on a consistant basis and because of this we started to have major issues due to their lack of fixing the problems and not showing up. They went to the bank and said they finished the job (still had approximately $5,300.00 worth of work left and there were problems with the work that they did do) and collected then money and never came back to finish up the work or fix the things that were done wrong. It has been a couple years and still no phone calls/emails/attempt to come back and fix the issues nor did they return the money.
