October 2, 2015 Ms. [redacted] Complaint ID #: [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]: I am responding to your submission regarding the rental vehicle period following a total loss determination. In the event of an accident, we are responsible for analyzing each loss on its own merits and for making...
decisions in accordance with the terms, conditions, and limitations of the policy. Thank you for speaking with [redacted], of our staff, regarding your concerns. I understand that Ms. [redacted] clarified the difference between first party rental reimbursement coverage found in the policy contract and USAA’s business policy regarding loss of use coverage following a total loss. We are unable to comment on other insurance carriers’ processes and procedures. We value the opportunity to clarify USAA’s position and to respond to your concerns. Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint ID #: [redacted]
Dear Staff Sergeant Maravilla:
I am responding to your submission regarding the handling of your automobile claim. I appreciate the opportunity to respond.
Our records indicate that the rental car was...

Bernardo Melchor, of our staff, was unsuccessful in his attempts to speak with you regarding your concerns; however, he sent you a letter with his contact information. If you have additional questions, Mr. [redacted] remains available to assist you.
Please know that we conduct business in keeping with USAA’s core values of service, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, and your allegations of impropriety were unfounded.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I talked to [redacted] @ Opportunity and he disagreed with the findings as he had not given anyone an invoice that proved they were at fault. I hope that the [redacted] will repair the rear bumper, totally no charge to me. Thanks to the Revdex.com for doing their part. I am unimpressed with USAA insurance the way they handled the situation, but that's my opinion. Regards; [redacted]
Regards,

Dear Mr. [redacted]:
I am responding to your second submission regarding your December 2, 2015, homeowners claim.
Our review of your claim showed that there could have been further investigation done by the inspector, which is why the option of having an engineer complete another inspection was offered to you. The inspector was not directed to revise the estimate. The revision was made to allow a roof repair minimum due to a single potentially wind-lifted shingle determined from a review of the photos. The coverage decision was appropriate based on the performed investigation. You still have the option to have an engineer perform an inspection.
We appreciate the opportunity to review your concerns again.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: there is no resolution offered. "Looking into it" doesn't instill much faith especially since communication is obviously not your strong suit. Hence, why my c r sit just got dinged by your ineptitude and is causing a lot of headaches in my life now. All for something that wasn't my fault. All you have done is victimized someone who was already a victim of circumstance.
Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: things always change with USAA and they keep giving me new dates etc. I was told that someone will be calling me but no one did about the banking issue.

own merits, and we are responsible for making decisions in accordance with the terms, conditions, and limitations of the policy. [redacted], of our staff, completed a thorough review of your claim. She confirmed that on June 8, 2017, the initial appraisal was uploaded to usaa.com for your viewing and a copy was also provided to your repair shop. On June 27, 2017, we received a new estimate for $955.00, and the following day the supplement was paid less the deductible. On July 7, 2017, your repair shop advised there were turbo issues with the vehicle, at which time the appraiser informed them that it was a warranty issue and not related to the loss. Our records indicate that a rental vehicle was covered until June 30, 2017, when the repairs were completed.
Please know that our employees settle the claims for which we are legally liable in a timely manner. Your allegations regarding delays and unpaid rental coverage are unfounded. If you have additional questions, Ms. [redacted] remains available to assist you and can be reached at ([redacted]) [redacted], or ([redacted]) [redacted], Extension [redacted].
We appreciate you allowing us to reply to you.
Sincerely,

with the terms, conditions, and limitations of the policy. Thank you for speaking with [redacted], of our staff, who explained that an inspection of your vehicle determined that the damage estimate was below your deductible, which would require you to file your claim directly through the responsible parties’ insurance carrier. Because they would have monetary interest in the claim, they would also be able to address your questions regarding diminution in value. Please know that USAA acts in accordance with our core values of service, loyalty, honesty, and integrity. We thoroughly reviewed your matter and confirmed that your claim was handled appropriately. Therefore, we respectfully decline your request for reimbursement of your policy premiums. I am rejecting this response because:USAA charged me twice for the same monthly payment. I paid $122.38 for insurance on October 31, 2017. USAA charged me for the same payment on November 25, 2017. I previously filed a complaint which they claimed they would resolve, but they have done nothing.
