Solar Alliance takes all service issues very seriously. We are investigating this matter to gather all the facts and we will be contacting Mr. [redacted] shortly.
Solar Alliance of America, Inc. has made numerous attempts to satisfy this homeowners concerns. We have sent technicians to their home and have verified that the system was operating correctly. We have installed thousands of Solar Systems where homeowners are overwhelmingly happy with the production...
and savings from their systems. We stand behind everyone of our installations.
Unfortunately, it appears there were some rodents that chewed up wires leading to their Solar System. Upon receiving a service call, the "chewed up" connector was replaced and the system was 100% operational within 48 hours.

True, the company did call to ask if a technician could come out and inspect and I told them of course they could, I would be available. They stated the technician would call on their way to my house. I was home all day. The technician never called and never showed up.

wi;ll send you a referral fee for $500.00."As requested, I provided you with the name and address of the customer who I referred that had your company install a solar system. When I initially called inquiring about the referral, the call taker was able to find them. It is OBVIOUS by your lack of response, you found my complaint to be correct, truthful and viable. It appears that your company does not desire or will not live up to it's promises. The promises that were made by it's representatives and the President himself. This is documented by the President and company's own responses. Please Mr. [redacted] give me a break. "Please close the complaint" is all you have to say?
What happened to: "Please provide me with your neighbors name, address and phone number so we can investigate further. If proven, that you referred our client and his/her system has been installed and received permission to operate from SDG&E we wi;ll send you a referral fee for $500.00."Opps, Solar Alliance, it looks as if you and your company are guilty as charged. By looking at online reviews, it appears that I am not the only one that things like this have happened too. I was still considering doing business with your company in the future. But not now. Not only did you loose a potential customer, but you also lost a lot more potential referrals.Feel free to contact me if you desire to settle this complaint.Regards,

Let me start by saying that Solar Alliance has truly dropped the ball on this project and we apologize. This is not how we like to do business. I could list the myriad things that have gone wrong and provide explanations, but I fear it will come off as excuses and I don’t think it will do a lot to help the situation. Additionally, we had a 6 week period of heavy rain in Southern California that has delayed all our projects, magnifying an already bad situation for this project. We are still working to resolve this matter and expect the installation to be complete by the end of February.-[redacted]

Even though Solar Alliance SOLD ME THE SYSTEM and hired the installer they still claim to have nothing to do with the problems that we experienced. In our opinion, their customer service was horrible. So horrible that SunPower told me they have dropped them from their "Certified Solar Installers List" and will no longer be doing business with Solar Alliance. Again, this is typical. Always blaming some other company for their inept business practices.

Customer claims they leased a Solar System from Solar Alliance of America in 2012. Solar Alliance does not lease Solar Systems. It appears that the client signed a lease with SunPower Corp. If homeowner can provide a lease agreement or a single payment that has been made to Solar Alliance of...
America, we will take full responsibility. Solar West Electric was hired to install a SunPower System manufactured by SunPower and leased by SunPower. I would suggest the client ask a licensed Roofing Contractor to examine roof damage and forward estimate. Please forward estimate to [redacted]@solarallianceofamerica.com I will see if I can assist in getting funding for repair from responsible parties.
I am sorry to hear that this client will not be able to receive tax credit this year. It is written on our contracts that clients should consult with their tax professionals. Unfortunately, Enerbank will not offer client a 0% loan or roll it into main loan. If client contacts me at...
