Got a Win 7 license key that does not work. Very unresponsive customer support, took 5 business days for a response, finally got a support ticket. Let's see if they will provide a good key.
I purchased an online download of Windows 7 thru "Software Plaza" I immediately had problems trying to get it installed. I called their support line and got an answering machine. Then I decided to check this Revdex.com site and got the bad news about "Software Plaza". I've never had a problem with an online purchase before. I called my bank right away and was able to stop the payment from getting to "Software Plaza" I will be more careful in the future!
Review: I ordered a downloadable version of MS Office Professional 2013 on September 25, 2015 and payed $159.00 to Software Plaza. It seemed to expire one month after I activated it. After checking it with Microsoft, a technician found it was a used product activation key, having been first used in January of 2015 and no longer usable.Desired Settlement: I would like a complete refund of $159.00.
Review: I purchased software from this company that was to include a download link for the software. The link they sent does not work and when I try to contact them by email they do not respond, when I contact them by phone they tell me support is not available by phone and hang up on me.Desired Settlement: Refund my money being as I have never received the software they were selling.

Review: Purchased a Microsoft Windows 8.1 product key from company advertised for $79.00. Once I received the code in my email I attempted to activate the copy of windows that was provided. The activation failed. I tried numerous attempts to contact the company to receive either a new key or a full refund. Each time the business did not respond. They do not have anyone available to answer their phones at any time. The company is an obvious scam and needs to be investigated in some way.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money and the company to delete any billing information of mine that they may have.
Review: I ordered a software and this fraudulent company provided a counterfeit and pirated software, and an older version than I ordered.Desired Settlement: I need them to refund my credit card the $165.00 they originally charged.
Review: I paid 110$ for Microsoft Office 2010 from Software Plaza. This was an automatic download. They took the money out of my account. I went to gondownload itnto my computer and it says it can not authenticate it because maximum liscenses have been used;therefore, they sold me an illegal copy and I can't use it. I have emailed them several times at 3 different addresses. I have called them twice and keep getting the same message. They will not even respond to me at all! I want my money back as I had to purchase Office through another company as I needed it to start a new job. Thank you so much!!Desired Settlement: I want my money back for the illegal and unusable copy of Office they sold me as I had to purchase a real copy from a different company.
Review: The company sales software on-line, their policy reads "Get the item you ordered or get your money back with the SoftwarePlaza Buyer Protection".I did purchase Win 7 from them, they provide the activation Key on their messaging system, I tried to activate the product and it failed due to invalid key, contacted customer support and they told me they will provide another activation key, they provided it and it didn't work either.I contacted by e-mail, by phone to request refund of the money, no answer so far.Desired Settlement: Just want my money refunded.

Watch out for this online software provider. I purchased a License Key for Windows 7 Pro. They promise a key and a link to download the software directly from Microsoft. I paid for the software and they game me a key via the account on their site. I never received an email invoice and the key they posted on my account shows as already assigned to another system; so false key. The download link from their site never worked. When you try to resolve, they don't answer calls or messages. Fortunately, my credit card company is willing to refund my purchase as fraudulent. Many other online postings with the same experience from this vendor.
Review: On 03/31/2015 I created an account on Softwareplaza.com and attempted to purchase a downloadable copy of Windows 7 Pro. The product, as described on their web page, should have been made available as a digital download with a physical copy (paper card) of the software's license key being mailed to me.
After my purchase, however, no record of my order ever appeared in my account profile and no download links or other information appeared under the "Message", "My Applications" or "My Downloadable Products" sections of their website. I called their customer support number and a representative told me that it can take some time before the link would appear. I checked again a few hours later and the next day but no link was made available. I did see that my credit card was charged $60.80 (the expected purchase price). I contacted Softwareplaza support via email and explained my problem. I received an automated reply with ticket #[redacted] but no person has ever replied to this email. I tried their online chat system and provided my information. Their only reply was "It's refund" and then they dropped the chat session. After several more attempts to reach their customer service by phone, I finally reached someone who told me that they would request a refund. Two more weeks later, no refund has been processed, no download link has been added to my account and no physical copy of the software key has arrived. I called support again today and they told me the same thing as last time - that an email requesting a refund has been sent (I don't know to who). Here are my purchase details:
Order ID: [redacted]
Product: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Full Version SP1
SKU: kingsoftware_FQC-000129
Item no : 1226
Price: $60.80
Date ordered: 03/31/2015
Qty: 1
In addition, I left an account of my experience with this purchase as a review of this item on their web page. The negative review was removed several minutes after it was posted.
Thank you for helping!Desired Settlement: Please help Softwareplaza.com refund their charge of $60.80 to my credit card. Also, please let them know that their customers don't appreciate having their reviews deleted.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am unsure why my order number would not appear in their system. This is the first reply I have received from a SoftwarePlaza representative and it seems that they are unwilling to investigate the issue or provide a refund to my card. Here are my order details, as provided by SoftwarePlaza.com:
Review: software could not be installed on my computerDesired Settlement: credit my account/credit card for software program that could not be used on my computer

Review: I ordered Window 7 Professional licenses on Monday 3-23-15. It says it was suppose to be emailed me for download within 3-5 hours. I never received this email. However, I did receive the email saying what my order number was and total amount billed. I have sent several emails with no contact back. I also have tried to call several times. I finally today got ahold of someone and she said to log into my account and it should be there. However when I try to log into my account it says it has not been confirmed and to click to send an email to the address to have it confirmed. I have done this several times and have not received anything in my email. I called the lady back that I spoke with earlier and after 8 attempts got ahold of her again. She said she would have someone send me the email in about an hour! Now I still have no email and it's been well over an hour. I think this site is a scam and does not work correctly. When you call no matter what number you push you always get transferred to the same lady/extension.Desired Settlement: I just want my licenses that I paid for and if I can't get those then I need a refund. The concept of how it should work is not that hard. But their website is a scam and needs to be taken down!!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I finally was able to get in and get my Key that I paid for. I was about 2 weeks later..
