This company is a Scam.. Validated. I purchased licensing and was provided 2 windows 7 keys. Installed both and they activated correctly. After a few months Microsoft product validation check showed the licenses as not genuine. I called Microsoft activation and they said those keys were not valid any longer and to contact the vendor.
These guys blew me off, never responded, I got someone on the phone and he was not interested.

I purchased an online download of Windows 7 thru "Software Plaza" I immediately had problems trying to get it installed. I called their support line and got an answering machine. Then I decided to check this Revdex.com site and got the bad news about "Software Plaza". I've never had a problem with an online purchase before. I called my bank right away and was able to stop the payment from getting to "Software Plaza" I will be more careful in the future!

We have issued a refund to customer  12.8000001907349px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Thanks

Review: I purchased Microsoft Office 2013 Professional using the www.softwareplaza.com website. The actual purchase was from KingSoftware. It seems the website is just a marketplace for various vendors to sell their wares. But on the page with which you purchase your products, there is a "YOUR PURCHASE IS COVERED BY SOFTWAREPLAZA".

When I got my confirmation email, there was a Product Key for the product and a download link. I proceeded to install the software and was presented with a "Register by phone" prompt. I was confused, but I registered the product and finished the installation. Afterwards I looked around the internet and found out that the "phone registration" typically means that the product key had already been registered.

I then proceeded to email KingSoftware as directed on the Software Plaza website "Contact the Seller" link. I asked why I was required to use the phone registration and did this mean that the product had also been previously sold to someone else. I also expressed my concern that I would lose access to the product in the future if it was sold again.

After 8 days of not receiving an answer, I created an "RMA" ticket with Software Plaza explaining that I wasn't satisfied with my purchase and expressed my concerns. I was told that downloaded software was not returnable and that I would not be given a refund.

So now I have this software that I still do not know if it has been previously sold, what will happen in the future should I need to reinstall it, but I spent good money on. And the so called "guarantee" from Software Plaza didn't protect me from anything.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my $129.

Review: I ordered 40 licenses of Windows 7 Professional 64 bits on 08/26/15.

I received an email from Software Plaza/King Software within 2-3 days later with 40 licensing keys typed on it and 2 links to download Windows 7 Professional iso.

Upon typing in the first key of the 40, my computer stated that it is invalid.

So, I thought it is something wrong with my computer. I bought another copy through another vendor with windows license sticker and CD, and it works immediately!

Upon calling Software Plaza/King Software, the representative asked me to try other keys. Those keys didn't work either. They even said that I should contact Microsoft and they should fix it for me. After talking it over with other IT professionals, they recommended that I should ask for a refund.

They refused to refund me and said that they won't be able to sell these keys again to other people once they are released. They kept telling me to try another 13-14 keys and that I should call Microsoft to activate those keys if they don't work.

Then Software Plaza/King Software said they would replace those non-working keys with another keys. At this point, I know they are lying. First they told me they can't take those keys back. Now, they say they can "replace" those keys with new ones?

I kept on calling and demanding a refund. Finally, they agreed to refund and asked me to fill in a form online to get it processed. I filled in the form, and when I got the credit card statement, it shows that they didn't refund.

I called them again during their office hours and no one answered for days!!! I finally got a hold of someone named Michael Pirad. Like other people before, he refused to give me a refund. So I asked him to send me the stickers of all the Windows 7 licenses that Software Plaza/King Software emailed me.

Guess what? They don't have those stickers. Why? Because those keys are copied off the internet and passed to everybody. He then asked me if I want partial refund. I said NO. He said he would check with his accounting team and get back to me 3-5 business days later. After 7 business days,

no phone calls from Software Plaza. Call them back during office hours, and no one answered again.Desired Settlement: Full refund for the 40 licenses.

Review: The company emails you a product with a product activation key that is invalid.Desired Settlement: I would like a working activation key to use with my windows 7 professional software that was purchased.

Response:

Sir/Ma'am,

Review: I bought a software package (Windows 7) from Software Plaza via the internet on April 16, 2015. One of their vendors, King Software, provided an activation key for the software that was downloaded. When I contacted Microsoft to activate the software, I was notified by them that the key was a duplicate key and it was not authorized to be used again. I contacted Software Plaza several times through their website requesting either a refund or a valid key and have also called their customer support line several times with no responses at all from them.Desired Settlement: I would like someone from their firm to respond so that I can either get a correct key or a refund. Perhaps this company is not a valid company and is only scamming customers.

I made a complaint but after sending the complaint I followed the instructions provided by their support and I received the proper product from the company. ID#[redacted]

Review: I purchased Microsoft Office 2010 and downloaded the product. By email, they sent me an activation code and a confirmation code. The activation code is sufficient for online activation. However, the code was deemed not valid. I tried to use the confirmation code in a telephone activation to Microsoft, but it was also declared to be invalid.

I have contacted the company twice and was promised a refund to my credit card, but have not received it. Customer service has been totally unhelpful.Desired Settlement: Receipt of an activatable product or a refund.

This company is an absolute scam! I ordered Microsoft Office 2013 from their website and the order and product key were emailed to me. I entered the product key and it was an invalid key.

I called their company and couldn't get anyone to answer. It took me 7 times calling in to finally get someone on the phone. Once I did this individual was highly disrespectful, rude and not helpful with the problem. He told me it was, "User Error, and I needed to copy and paste the key (which I had already tried). He then tells me, "Well, I show it's a valid key so I don't know what to tell you."

I then used their online chat and the person talking to me had no grasp of the English language nor did they even care that I was having an issue!

DO NOT be lured by their pricing! It will be nothing but a headache!

Review: I ordered a downloadable .iso file and product key for windows 7 from this website and the seller (kingsoftware) and the file did not work. I tried 4 different methods of copying the file to a dvd/usb etc. to no avail. The file was no good and said the file was corrupted. I then proceeded to read reviews about this seller and saw that many others had been scammed as well. Numerous calls and attempts were made to contact the seller and I recieved no response. I just want my money back and to leave it at that.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the purchase price.
