The contract is in place & signed before the move starts The contract states that fragile items packed by the customer are not covered Packing fragile items is a very delicate task It has to be done correctly and with the correct materials to insure fragile items do not get broken during the movement of the truck etc If the insurance covered everything that a nonprofessional packer packed what's to stop people from not being careful throwing stuff in a box & just getting items after every move? Our employees are very careful with all items they are moving If the items were properly packed there should have been no issue with damage

The business DID provide refund of yearly fees not disclosed
The business DID provide partial refund of overpaid membership and partial credit towards future membership for those amounts unable to be refunded at the club level
The business DID NOT provide notice that an updated policy would protect their members from fraudulent activities as carried out by their employees and representativesAs a result of a 2-year fight with the business and numerous ignored requests from the corporate office including refusal to provide chain-of-command complaint contacts, I requested:
" That hour would put in place a policy that would inform consumers when an Employee acting on their behalf to set up contracts, is fired for setting up fraudulent accounts so that the issues can be thoroughly addressed in a timely manner."
This particular burden WAS NOT metThis is crucial to fair business practices and consumer protection and rightsThis is equally as important as providing remedy for fraudulent billing- to address the emotional duress inflicted by the business in their initial refusal and inadequacy with resolving the complaint in a timely manner, having known that their employee committed fraudA policy to contact victims of fraud when known, should be the burden of the business and not the victim

I would like a confirmation letter/ email to my resolutionAs agreed on my phone call conversation with hours fitness, I will pay the $annual fee of my lifetime membershipI would need confirmation in order to avoid the same situation from occurring in the upcoming years as I plan to be a loyal member.

highest level of satisfaction possibleWe sincerely regret any unpleasant
experience that may have occurred to detract from our level of service or our
facilities
As stated in your membership agreement (Section 5c- Liability for
Property), Hour is not liable to you
or your guest for any personal property that is damaged, lost, or stolen while
on or around Hour's premises including, but not limited to, a vehicle or its
contents or any property left in a lockerIf you or your guest cause any
damage to Hour's facilities, you are liable to Hour for its cost of
repair or replacement
Additionally, as per the Membership Policies page of your
agreement, our Locker Policy reads:
Hour provides lockers for your use on a daily basis and suggests using a lock
to protect your propertyDo not leave valuable property in a locker at any
timeHour is not responsible for any theft or damage to your propertyIf
you leave a lock on the locker overnight, Hour will consider your property
abandoned and have the right to donate your property to charity
Our records indicate that the club management team did attempt to
work with you by offering our assistance to work with local authorities to
assist with the investigation, as well as offering a gesture of goodwill for
the inconvenience; however, we are sorry to hear that you declined their offer
We hope that this brings some clarification to your concern, as
well as the terms of the membership agreement that you purchased with Hour
FitnessIf you would like to request a copy of your original membership agreement, please let us know
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience that this may have
caused. We are sorry that you are not
satisfied with the resolution; however as a company we feel that we have made a
good faith effort in addressing your concern
