Revdex.com, I sincerely apologize for the trouble this customer had reaching our companyWe have upgraded our phone system recently, as well put in a redundant internet connection for our remote call center location in order to hopefully avoid problems like this in the futureIt appears this customer did get a hold of an agent successfully and was able to cancel his reservationA ticket was never issued and this customer was never charged Once again, I apologize for the time wastedIf this customer would like to book again, he can contact me directly and I'll have a senior travel agent in San Diego book him over the phone with all fees waved Regards, [redacted] Senior Executive Administrator DIRECT: ###-###-#### – FAX: ###-###-####EMAIL:***@lbftravel.com

Revdex.com,We charge a fee to exchange airline ticketsThis is a time consuming, difficult task that has to be done with precisionThe airlines set the rates for the ticketsIf you want to exchange your tickets to a different flight, if that flight's cost is higher, the customer must pay the fare difference, as well as the exchange fee.I hope this clarifies the matter.Regards, [redacted] Senior Executive Administrator DIRECT: (858) 429-x *** – FAX: (858) 408- EMAIL: [redacted]

I book a flight with smartfares on October 8th to fly to mexico on December 13thThey aent me an email with my booking number amd the next day I saw a charge on my accountHere it is December 12th and I call the airlines to confirm my flightThe airlines cant find my booking number nor my name on the flightSo after phone calls I find out that smartfares canceled my flightThey said they aent me an email but I did a search on my email and the only email I received from them, besides soliciting mail, was my itineraryThey did refund my money the next day back in October, but I didnt notice it as it was my business account and we have deposits around that amount everydaySo I ended up having to pay double to rebook my flight as now I have to pay for next day rateMy husband and son are already in mexico waiting to pick me up from ky fliggt so I couldnt make it another dayI was shocked that they canceled it for no reason and didnt get ahold of meOfcousemaybe this is their way to make extra money as my original flight was $and now im having to pay $i had to wipe out my whole checking account just to be with my husband and son for Christmas

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [I have included in this email a copy of my Bank Statement for the Month of March and April which clearly shows that it was just one refund that LBF made to my account] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They refer to themselves as a reservation center not travel agency- and do not disclose agent fees, making it a bait and switch or lying to the public- unfair to us the consumers I want a full refund and don't want to deal with them ever again If you Google LBF travel you will find a website of pissed off consumers It is a known fact they operate this way I'm not sure why they are even listed through Revdex.com to start with I have tried repeated times to talk or negotiate with without any success- their answer is that it's not an agent fee, that it's part of the ticket price That is a flat out lie- I have reached to Air Canada and was advised that Lbj travel buys bulk tickets then resale for higher prices plus a few I was never told about this fee otherwise I wouldn't be dealing with this As a consumer I am left without my rights of services not delivered and chargedI want a full refund Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved, with following reservations:1) Since it takes up to two weeks for refund to be made to Credit Card, I would like to reserve acceptance for days from today in order to make sure payment has been made.2) I received an email from the Supervisor of Customer Service at [redacted] (parent corporation I believe) that stated the actual refund which has been processed is not for the amount shown on the Revdex.com site ($32.21), but for the entire amount I was seeking which is stated in email as being $475.75.If both of the above conditions are met I will accept this as a satisfactory resolutionThanks to Revdex.com! Regards, [redacted]

My parents (both in their mid 70s) booked air travel through Smartfares to attend a family celebrationThey got a confirmation numberBut the day before travel, when my mom tried to check in with American Airlines, she was told there was no reservationSmartfares would take no responsibility for the vanishing bookingThe agent told her it was her responsibility to have noticed that the charge for the tickets hadn't appeared on her credit card statement! He then falsely claimed that they made attempts to contact my parents about an (unspecified) booking issue: he theorized that their email went to my parents' spam folder (my mom checked: nothing there); and said several attempts were made to call and leave a message but "maybe your mailbox was full" (it never has been)My mom then had to make an 11th-hour re-booking of their flights -- at higher cost and less convenient return timeSmartfares denies responsibility for their error or for the extra cost"Smartfares" indeed! Smart enough to take money from senior citizens and give them nothing in returnThe Revdex.com should rethink it's B rating for these swindlers

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] Revdex.com At this moment in time, no refund has been received from [redacted] Airlines Could I have the details of the ticket [redacted] Airlines say they have refunded? If according to his message, Smart Fares are handling the total [redacted] Airlines refund, then Smart Fares should refund the customer in full and later take the matter up with [redacted] AirlinesThat would be the professional thing to do Regards [redacted]

Revdex.com, This customer agreed to a refund in the amount of $with our supervisor [redacted] on 10/1/On 10/4/15, this refund was processedThe matter should currently be resolvedRegards,> Zack Nelson Senior Executive Administrator DIRECT: (858) 429-x [redacted] – FAX: [redacted] EMAIL: [redacted]

Revdex.com, Our websites show the fares that are currently available at the time of searchOur Application Programming Interface (API) syncs up with the Global Distrobution Systems (GDS) where airlines upload their faresIt is automated, real time pricingSometimes customers can attempt to secure fares that may have already been purchased by other consumers on ours or competitor websitesThere is no way to prevent this and as the customer stated, this is laid out clearly in our terms & conditions Regards, [redacted] Senior Executive Administrator DIRECT: (858) 429-x [redacted] – FAX: (858) 408-3815EMAIL: [redacted]

I have researched Mr [redacted] 's complaint Mr [redacted] booked his reservation on Dec for travel Dec All of our international ticket request got to our fraud department As you can imagine we get a lot of fraud Once this has been researched the itinerary is then sent over to ticketing Unfortunately the departure flight came back unable to confirm An email was sent to Mr [redacted] to inform him Then it goes to our salvage department to find alternatives The new itinerary they found was a different airline and connection The fare was higher This was offered to Mr [redacted] and he agreed to the costWe are very sorry for any misunderstanding however in this instance we did nothing wrong

I spoke with Ms.*** We understand the confusion She originally called within hours of ticketing In this case we would have been able to void the tickets with a penalty After hours the tickets become non refundable She can use the credit for future useHowever there is a penalty from the airlines Ms [redacted] was quoted $because Air Canada charged $to change a ticket and United charged $ However she would not receive a refund as these are restricted tickets I went over this all with Ms***As a courtesy I am working with our ticketing team to see if there is anything they can do to waive the penalties
