Skin Allure Brands Reviews (%countItem)

I ordered the trial of AlluraDerm wrinkle cream (and the website also added their eye serum) for shipping & handling charges of $5.94 and $4.95 for a total of $10.89 charged to my debit card on 10/03/2017. I received the products on 10/10/2017 without any paperwork. Today (10/19/2017) I noticed that my bank account was charged for $87.50 and $85.20, so I called the phone number associated with the charges and spoke to Jasmine regarding these charges. She offered me $40.00 credit for each product for a total of $80.00 to be credited to my bank account in 3-5 business days and cancelled my account since I did not call the number on the jar and cancel within 14 days. I thought I had cancelled since the only communication I had from my order was for Makeup 365. On 10/16/2017 I emailed Makeup 365 and cancelled my account and received a confirmation from them of said cancellation, not knowing that that cancellation had no affect on the skin products.

Very tricky in their business transaction, just like other complaints previously filed in this site the same thing happened to me. Skin allure keep on sending me the product and kept on charging my credit card without my consent. I spoke to a customer service through a phone number Allure provided in the package and telling me that I agreed with the terms of condition upon signing up for the sample, he simply stated if I did not agree I would have not provided my credit card for payment whereas I only provided my credit card for payment of the shipping and handling to get the sample and nothing stated that I have to call to cancel an automatic subscription after the trial period to prevent me from being charged. If I could give a zero star I would, well 1 star would mean negative anyway. Hope this will help others not to be a victim of this scam.

Charges on 10/4 for unknown product or service after a purchase made on 9/15
On 9/14 I agreed to try a sample of allure / serum, order # XXXXXX for the amount of 4.95 and 5.94, and that charge shown on my card no problem with that, but when I received my credit card statement on 10/13 upon review I discover there is also a charge for 85.20 from ADE-SERUM.NET and a charge for 87.50 from AGELESS ALLURE WRINKLE made on 10/3 that was made without my consent. I have not even received any other products from this company other than the original sample.

Desired Outcome

Refund the 85.20 charge and the 87.50 charge and remove my name and account from any further business transactions.

Per terms and conditions all used products are non-returnable or refundable once past the 14-day trial period. The trial started from the time you placed the order on 09/15/17 until 10/03/17. After carefully reviewing the proposal from Skin Allure Brands, received on Oct. 18th 2017, The cancellation of the account and the One Time customer courtesy refund of Sixty-five dollars off each charge is agreeable.
Respectfully Yours

Ordered online for alluraderm skin product...trial, pay $4.98 shipping...today I read there are a number of complaints about this company, I called them, they informed me if I didn't cancel within 14 days they were going to bill me $87. I told them it is well before 14 days and I want to cancel any further orders. The woman then offered me a deal to keep product for $19.99.I explained under no circumstances did I want the product...there ad never mentions $87 after 14 days. I explained I am 76 years old and I did not want the product...she then told me she would send me to collections if I did not pay or then gave me the option to return the product..after giving me return info, I went to post office, and sent the package at a cost of $7.50. I asked for receipt to indicate I sent the product back because the company is scamming people. Company name: SKIN ALLURE BRANDS *** W. *** SUITE *** TAMPA FL XXXXX. ***, XXX-XXX-XXXX

I have sent the product back to them with the information they gave me. I sent it from post office with receipts for proof. Costing me $7 and change. I assume this incident is closed as I met their request regarding return. I hope this ends any thing further with this company.

The cancellation of your account has been completed as of today 10/27/17. No further action required.

Charged $87.50 for an item advertised as costing $5.94
I ordered a jar of wrinkle solution cream on September 27, 2017 and paid the advertised price of $5.94. At the bottom of my invoice it says it says: 'Order Total: $5.94'.

Yesterday, October 15th,2017, I received a phone call from Chase Visa, asking if I had authorized a charge of $87.50. This charge was associated with the same company. Chase gave me a phone number to call them, and I spoke to a rep who was very difficult to understand, but he told me that the $5.94 was just for shipping and handling, even though the invoice says that $5.94 was the 'order total'. He refused to refund the $87.50. I demanded that my account with be closed, as it also appears I unwittingly signed up for some sort of subscription service.

Chase is investigating this sale as fraudulent. The merchant names for the two charges do not match.

Desired Outcome

I want the $87.50 refunded to me.

The product was advertised as costing $5.94. I paid that amount on September 27, 2017. On October 15, another charge was made to my Visa card for $87.50. This second charge was not authorized by me. The merchant names for the two separate charges do not match. This second charge to my Visa account was fraudulent.

Fraudulent Charges - Withdrawal from Checking Account
I provided my billing information to pay shipping fees for two free samples of Allure Wrinkle Products. I picked up from USPS last week after being discharged from the hospital, I never opened or used the products. Today there was a withdrawal from my checking account for this company of $87.50. When contacted the Rep. said that I agreed to pay this amount after a 15-day trial period. I disagreed and offered to return the unopened product. I was told there would be a $17.00 restock fee (15ml liquid and about 20 grams of cream) and it would take 3 weeks to get a refund for the balance. I have contacted my bank but unfortunately the payment has been made. I will file a Fraudulent Claim with them.

Desired Outcome

The best resolution for me would be to put this company out of business. How can this company continue to rip off the public/elderly. I'm 65 years old and on a fixed income, I can't afford to have $87.50 just taken away from me. PLEASE, PLEASE end the madness, SHUT THESE PEOPLE DOWN!

Skin Allure Brands Response

Ms ***, We have received the product you returned and we have processed the refund on your account the product charge of $80.50 on 10/28/17. We have also waived the restocking fee and refunded $7.00 today 10/31/17. You should see the refund in your account within 3-5 business days. If you have further questions please feel free to call me directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX my name is *** and I am here to help!

Customer Response

In response to the question about direct contact with the business, I made contact with Allure immediately after they withdrew $87.50. I agreed to return the unopened package and they agreed return $70.50
deducting $17.00 restock fee.

I then called my bank to find out Allure was trying to withdraw another $86.00 that the bank declined due to lack of funds. The bank instructed me to submit a fraudulent action complaint and the $87.50 was returned to my account. I mailed the package back as agreed.

Please stop this company from repeatedly taking money from unsuspecting senior citizens. I had to gat a new bank card which caused all kinds of other inconvenience.

Thank you for your support and time in this matter.

cancelled within 5 minutes of ordering.I received a cancellation number. Then received the product. No record of cancellation, sending me to collections
On 9/27/17 I ordered on line and within 5 minutes I cancelled with Michael. I was given a cancellation number and told everything was cancelled. Then I received the package. I called and was told my cancellation number was invalid. If I wanted to pay to return the product they would only charge me 38.00. If not I would be sent to collections. I am now being told to return the product and I will only be charged 10.00. I was given another number. I do not trust them, and I am not sure how to prove that I am sending back the product.

Desired Outcome

I want to make sure this does not happen to anyone else. They should not be allowed to cheat people like this. I am hoping this will be resolved and I will not be billed or sent to collections, but I don't trust them to do what they say they are going to do.

I cancelled an account and was still billed. The company would not return the full amount I was billed.
On 9/17/2017 I ordered "Free Trial products agreeing to pay Shipping and Handling" The online site referred me to a second site for more information. I could not access the second site. I used the email address provided "***@makeup365.net" to state that I could not access their site and "DO NOT BILL MY CREDIT CARD FOR A MEMBERSHIP I DID NOT WANT!" Within 2 hours I received an email back stating, "I am sorry you were not able to use your login to access our website. We are currently experiencing technical problems. To avoid charges on your account we have cancelled your account for Makeup365.net as of 09/17/17. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact us directly at (XXX) XXX-XXXX.
MakeUp365.net
*** Support"
On 9/18/2017 $4.95 was withdrawn by Basic M Pureadeye XXXXXXXXXX CT. and $5.94 was withdrawn from my account by Simplydermproducts wrinkle. net. I assumed these were the shipping charges for the 2 free products I had ordered.
Today I checked my checking account, which my debt card is attached to and found 2 charges listed. First, Advancedeyeserum.net XXXXXXXXXX FL for $85.20 and the second for $87.50 by Milamar*Ultrawrinkle XXXXXXXXXX NY.
I called the "Support@makeup 365.net" telephone # provided in their email. I was told that Makeup 365 did not bill me I needed to talk to AlluraDerm. I was given the telephone #XXX-XXX-XXXX. But I decided to call the company phone # listed in my transaction history in my checking. After talking to Nicole for several minutes and her offering me at first $80.00 refund and after putting me on hold, offered me $120.00 then $130.00, I then relayed the whole story again to Lester, her supervisor. Lester, again, offered me a $130.00 refund. After a great deal of time on the phone with Lester, he refused to refund the entire amount to me stating that the "terms and conditions" clearly stated that it was a 14 day trial period and if they didn't hear from me within that period, I would be billed for the full amount of the purchase. All of the people I talked to keep saying that Makeup 365 and Alluraderm were 2 different companies and Makeup 365 couldn't cancel AlluraDerm account. Lester did tell me that Makeup 365 was one of Alluraderm's companies. I told Lester that you were my next course of action. I also told him he should be ashamed. That his company was scamming people.
I am 73 years old. I have spent the past 3 hours on this because I don't type well and I tried to convince this company to return all the money they had taken from me.
$42.70 (difference between what was taken out of my account and what the company was willing to refund me ) doesn't seem like a lot o money and 3 hours of my time is a lot more valuable than that but I am certain there many people that have allowed this company to get away with this because the demands of family, employment and lots of other things can't allow them the luxury of contacting the Revdex.com and detailing all of this terrible story. Today, this was my choice.

Desired Outcome

I feel entitled to a full refund because I did the best I could to receive a free trail offer and just pay the shipping.

My account was charged for a membership that I did not sign up for.
I thought I was being charged $4.95 for a free trial size of the skin allure eye serum and wrinkle cream on 9-23-2017. Today 10-11-2017 I found out that I was being charged $87.50 for a membership I didn't want. I called and the representative I spoke to 'Mark' told me that I could not get a total refund and they did not accept the product back as a return. I explained that I didn't sign up for the membership and I didn't see anywhere on the site where I had to cancel in 14 + 4 days. He said they would not give me a full refund they could do $40. I then explained that I needed the full refund amount due to my financial issues. I asked him what if I returned the charge as an unauthorized charge, he then told me to forget about even getting the $40 refund. I then asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me again to forget about the $40 refund and put me on hold. I waited for about 5 minutes it seemed, he came back to the phone and then hung up on me. I then called back and said there must be a misunderstanding. He said that there was a second amount that had not been charged yet in the amount of $85.20. He said he would cancel that amount and give me the $40 refund. I then went back into my bank account and not only did he charge me the $85.20 there was no refund pending. I am in the process of working with my bank now.

Desired Outcome

A refund

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept their response because it was what we had agreed to on the phone on 10/10/17. I appreciate the fact that they have honored what we had discussed.

I feel I was completely scammed by Skin Allure Brands and their Allura Derm product. I thought I was agreeing to a trial period of the new product and had 30 days to determine my like or dislike of the product, only to find out 2 weeks later my credit card was charged for $172 without my consent to charge for what they claimed was beyond the trial period and then they tried to report that what they sent was the full product and not the trial and because I did not contact them within the 2 week period there was nothing they could do and I would have to take it up with my credit card company, which I have already done. I asked to speak with a supervisor only to find out they have many and was told that someone would contact me same day and then they hung up on me. I would never recommend this company, their product or their poor customer service practices. Buyer beware, they blame the customer, do not take ownership of their supposed trial offer and then stick you with an enormous bill, for a product that really did not live up to its claim. One of my only and my last internet buy experiences.

I saw a promotion from this company, whereby they would send you a free sample of their product and all you had to pay for was the shipping, so I thought I would try it. I received the sample, however, several weeks later, I noticed that they had taken approximately $88 and from my checking account. When I called to complain about this, I was informed that I had been given 14 days to accept or cancel the product (never saw this), it was something that was not noted when I ordered the sample and I certainly didn't see it when I received the confirmation for the shipment. I think that this is how they are ripping people off. In addition, I was only refunded only $60, so I have been charged almost $30 for a small bottle of a sample that does not even work - the sample that I received was DEFINITELY not worth it.
