You may cancel this Agreement within thirty (30) days from the Order Date of this Agreement, as set forth on the schedule page accompanying this Agreement. In the event you cancel within the thirty (30) day period, the You shall be entitled to a full refund if and only if, no service has been provided under the contract. After the thirtieth day, you may receive a refund pro-rated at the non-discounted annual plan cost. A $75 cancellation fee will be charged and any service costs incurred by Select Home Warranty.

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I accept it, but I felt totally dejected by their policies and warranty coverage fine prints. I feel that nothing could be covered in heater by that fine prints. I should have read them before paying the premium.

I am rejecting this response because: I was a monthly paying customer who was paying for a service...

that was supposed to be provided if something were to breakdown or need to be repaired. The whole point of signing up and paying for a "home warranty" plan is to be able to call that home warranty company and have a repair company come out to look at the problem. At that point the repair company reports back to the warranty company for approval. But instead, Select Home Warranty took my monthly payments and never sent someone out to look at what needed to be repaired. Even after I called and told them several times that they needed to send someone out to look at the problem, they kept telling me they were rejecting the claim, even though no one came out to actually look at or diagnose the situation. They did not provide the service that I paid for every month. I fulfilled my part by paying my fees but they did not fulfill their part by providing the service that I signed up for. So of course I canceled with them because they refused to solve the problem by sending a company out to my home to evaluate the issue. It was obvious to me that they will never fulfill their part of the agreement, so I chose to cancel in order to not waste my money with them any longer. It was clear I would never be provided a service now or in the future. That is why I want a full refund of my monthly fees, because I paid in good faith thinking that I would be provided with a service that was promised from the home warranty company, instead they took my money and provided nothing.

Select Home Warranty has mailed a refund check to the customer in the amount of 1024.00 as of 9/3/2015

We spoke with the customer and have approved the repair.

Select Home Warranty has mailed the check to the customer as promised on 2/16/2016.

Someone from our office spoke with the customer on July 13th. The customer was informed that their claim was approved for the parts on the repair. Labor/installation is not covered under the customers contract. This claim was already approved for repairs and the customer and the technician were both...

informed accordingly. If the customer wishes to proceed with cancelling their contract we will be more than happy to process their request per section 13.2 of their contract.

I am rejecting this response because:
Again there was NO LEAK IN THE SYSTEM. As you should know a dirty coil will often cause the Freon to appear over charged then a tech may recover Freon to make it appear properly charged. Then when the coil is cleaned it is now low on Freon. Freon get ADJUSTED. With leaking freon there would be an ice which was not in my case and adding amount of freon would way more than 0.5.

As part of the terms , in order to get higher reimbursements the ac unit needs to be maintained. We cannot be responsible  for units that have not been properly maintained. This is clear in the terms that the customer had 30 days to review and sign. PLease see section 9.1.2 of the terms Select reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is up to $150.00.

Select Home Warranty is currently looking into the customers cancellation request

To get my $75 back it's closed. In no way am I satisfied with this business or the results of this matter. This business is not interested in customer satisfaction what so ever.

Select Home Warranty is re-evaluating the customers refund and will contact them to resolve the matter, as we do apologize for the experience during the time they tried to place their first claim

However, SHW does conduct customer threatening when customer exercise their right to cancel policy.

My credit card as since lifted the hold therefore I'm still owed the difference between what was refunded and the amount I originally paid.

The second check for $75 was already sent, it should arrive in the next few days.

The customer has already been informed on June 29th that their claim was denied as the indoor coil leaked freon. This is not covered under the customers contract. No additional funds are due at this time.

This matter was resolved in November when the customer received their refund check, it was not addressed when the customer received the check nor when they cashed the check. The cusotmer has been refunded per the Terms of Agreement.
