Samsung tries to accommodate our consumers with a resolution to the best of our ability on a case by case review.  However in Mr. [redacted] case, he was previously advised that the device he sent in for repair was determined to have been rooted which automatically voids Samsung’s warranty.  The agent who handled the claim further advised Mr. [redacted] that due to the device being rooted, Samsung will not be able to proceed with any repair or accommodation at this time.  Samsung’s stance remains the same.  Due to the device being rooted, no accommodations can be made for this claim.  Thank you for being a valued Samsung customer, we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced with this case.

Upon further review of the customer’s file, the customer was emailed the tracking number on 4/18. The email was sent to the email address registered, the tracking number is [redacted]. Our files indicate that the customer’s request regarding their Samsung tablet has been reviewed an additional time per customer rebuttal request. Samsung has already offered the customer a $50 E-Gift card for the misinformation. We will not be offering any other additionally compensation as time is not something that is covered under our limited manufacturer’s warranty. Our files indicate that the customer’s request regarding model # PN43F4500AFXZA has been reviewed an additional time per customer rebuttal request. Samsung has advised to the customer that we will not be modifying our original response. Ms. [redacted] has been offered an out of warranty part(s) accommodation for her physical damage claim. All physical/cosmetic damage voids warranty and would typically be exclusively the responsibility of the consumer to repair, but Samsung has agreed to assist in the parts portion of the repair cost.  The Limited Warranty, paragraph 5, can be referenced for exception/limitations. Samsung respects Ms. [redacted]’s position in this matter but the accommodation currently available will not be modified at this time.  If the customer wishes to proceed with the offer/repair, she just needs to notify Samsung to set up the request. Samsung has contacted the customer regarding their concerns with their.  Acknowledge customer complaint regarding the unit not functioning and reimbursement amount. Customer states when he first purchased the dishwasher he had problems with the unit so SS authorized a SRA for the unit....

Customer states now the unit is not functioning properly again and according to SS warranty there is a lifetime warranty that indicates unit will be replaced for same of comparable unit. Customer states that he is being offered a prorated refund for the product and does not feel that is fair cx states the unit was $899 according to the store rep and feels that ss should provide a full refund. Apologized to the cx; explain unit depreciates in value year over year therefore refund amount would be prorated. Researched file history further regarding previous SRA and found original receipt showing cx paid 214.00 for the unit. Inquired if customer paid any additional money during the exchange. Customer stated no. Educated customer according to the original receipt the refund amount would be 214.00(4[redacted]) Customer then stated the warranty states ss will replace the unit and feels that Samsung should replace it b/c he will not be able to afford to pay the difference in cost. Acknowledge feedback explain warranty states SAMSUNG will repair, replace, or refund this product at our option. This said Samsung can move forward with a buyback based on the amount paid for the unit. I find it interesting that it was not at their place long enough to cause corrosion yet in the small amount of time I had it in between them fixing it, I did. lol. It only takes a second to spill something on my tablet. Which proves it is possible and likely they spilled something on my tablet.

incorrect screws that were used to connect the television and the stand which caused the stand to break.
