Review: I purchased a [redacted] on 9/21/2013. I used the camper one time, then winterized it, and kept it on my property. Upon opening the camper in the spring, to return it to service, ie, camping, I discovered water inside the camper proper. The damage I encountered was: canvas mildew, water encroachment into the cabin, wood warp, and a noticeable 'bow' in the outside shell of the camper bed platform.
r[redacted]
I returned the[redacted] to Safford RV in June, 2014. It was still under the one year warranty.
At first, the company stated the problem was not a manufacturer's defect, but was operator error. Bringing our pictures and our concerns to the manufacturer and the dealer, the manufacturer did honor the warranty and the defective bed door and canvas were replaced. After months of waiting for parts and parts installations, the camper was returned to my possession on 10/10/2014.
The camper remained closed until 10/19/2014 (it rained 10/15/2014), and the opening revealed puddles of water inside the camper proper, with brown water stains on the canvas shell.
I have been making monthly payments on a camper I have used ONE TIME since 2013. I have been enduringly patient with both the dealer and the manufacturer. My only desire is to be able to utilize my investment as planned, and have my investment perform adequately without interventions.
I am returning the camper to the dealer, again, with restrained hopes of resolution. I requested, today(10/20/2014), from the Sales Manager, [redacted], that I be given a complete refund on my purchase as all other avenues have not achieved resolution. I was told that is handled through the manufacturer.
My only desire is to have a road worthy, functioning camper, that does not entail utilizing my recreation periods for repair and my payments for unrealized camping memories.
I sincerely request your assistance with my predicament, as my activities thus far have yielded unacceptable results.
Additional phone records regarding details of attempting calls to dealership regarding repairs, photos available upon request.Desired Settlement: To have a full refund and to return the camper to the dealership. C

Response:
We received [redacted] RV on 6/4/14 and after examination found that there was a manufacturer issue that caused the RV to leak. We contacted the Manufacturer asking for authorization to repair the RV but they denied it, that was on 6/10/14. We then resubmitted the claim on 6/20/14 with more photos and detail description to which they denied the repair again. On 7/07/14 Safford and [redacted] contacted [redacted] and finally the Manufacturer agreed to cover the repair. The parts were ordered and then we received all of them except the drip rail on 8/19. The drip rail finally arrived from the Manufacturer on 9/14/14 and we installed it that day. We called [redacted] on 9/14/14 and informed her the RV was ready for pick up. On 10/13/14 she came in to pick up the RV. On 10/20 she brought it back stating that it had the same leak. After we checked the RV out we found it was leaking from a different area (the original repair was not leaking) We ordered the parts to fix the new issue and they will be here around 11/18/14. I will make sure we get her RV fixed as soon as the parts arrive. As to wanting us to give a complete refund, we would be unable to do that as these issues are Manufacturer defects and not Safford RV's fault. Also, the Rv has only been in the shop the one time and it was repaired properly. We will get this new issue fixed by 11/21 as long as the Manufacturer gets us the parts when they promised.
