In an apparent attempt to "appear" as if they responded to our inquiry, the company conveniently ignored the fact that at least three phone calls were made to complain about the lack of response and seek information about the status of completing our repair It was only after we were forced to seek another company to complete the repair and sought a refund that they provided any update about our repair I doubt there was any true attempt to find parts for our wine refrigerator at all; rather, they are playing their game of collecting service fees without follow up If they were truly attempting to complete work for us, why didn't they return any calls despite the repeated assurances that we would receive a call? Also, why wouldn't they simply keep us updated themselves if they were truly planning to fix our wine refrigerator? As stated in the initial complaint, the company we selected (since Reliable Appliance Service Cowas not doing its job) was able to quickly repair our wine refrigerator If Reliable Appliance Service Cocontinues to claim they truly were working to get parts for our wine refrigerator, I expect they can show records of phone calls, emails, or other correspondence prior to June 8, (the date that we emailed them for a refund) proving this While I'm sure no such proof exists because it never happened, even if they made some effort, their complete lack of follow up with us and ignoring our complaints and inquiries certainly justifies our need to follow up with another repair company to repair our appliance Accordingly, either way, we are entitled to a refund

There’s nothing further from truth in this replyService charge is just not for diagnosis Abd repair estimateFirst off diagnosis does not require a visitThe door simply wound not pop openSecondly repair estimate is part of the bigger picture which is fixing itI wouldn’t pay some one $to tell me your microwave door doesn’t open and you need a new latch, which price I can locate on lineHis job was to fix the problemIf he can’t for whatever reason whether it’s beyond his control or it isn’t that’s not my liabilityIt’s simply his, especially I agreed on all of the contract terms his tech presented to me.I densnd a full refund of service charge I paid and got nothing in return
Unfortunately we have to refer you back to the collections agency as they have taken over your debt. Tell us why here

The company says to send a written request to their office for a service call refund of $Based on the reviews I have read on Yelp, I doubt this will do any goodBut I will abide by their request for written request and see what exactly happensPlease do not close out this complaint til I hear from Reliable Services
We are currently in the process of resolving consumer's concern

statement I wrote to Reliable Appliance Service when I was attempting to setting this directly with them, and/or the times that my wife called and to whom she spoke each time she attempted to contact the manger in hopes for resolution, I will be more than happy to submit if neededWhen we called Reliable Service Appliance to repair our AC unit we never thought that their diagnosis was incorrect, and therefore paid them in full at that timeEven after we realized there was still a problem with the unit and called them back, I was prepaired to have them make the necessary repairs but per their repair men, we allowed them to check on our warranty policyBut the lack of a return call and NO further communication from Reliable Service Appliance, even after they learned I had a concern about their service is unacceptable and should not be allowed to be torerlatedThere is no protection for customers when they pay for a service that ends up being done incorrectly and the company results to ignoring attempts to remedy the issuesAlso, I've now read others experiences and comments left on such places like Yelp and learned there are many people with my same experienceThis company, Reliable Appliance Service, makes their money from cheating customers and dissiappering, this isn't right!
Please follow the instructions on the back of your invoice, if you would like to request a refund of the service call fee paid to us

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The staff on the phone call indicated that the service call was free with repair and I was only informed on site that their company does not perform this sort of service on the LG washing machineGiven the admission of the technician that this is a common occurrence among front loading washer appliances, one would consider it fair that the front office staff is at least given a base level of knowledge in order to prevent the customer from being misled or charged unnecessarilyThe lack of transparency with what services are offered and what are not could have been explained on the initial call when I explained the issue verbatim to the customer service representativeNegligence in training one's front office staff doesn't absolve the company of providing transparency concerning what services are offered.I had already used products as the technician described several times prior to seeking help, which is why I called this company in the first placeThis company was thoroughly unhelpful and I feel their business practices are suspect
