Review: My daughter received 2 gift cards to Rainbow Shop (sum total of $75). They were both purchased at the [redacted]t location. When she went to use them in the [redacted] location she was informed they were expired. I have the orginal sales receipts that came with the gift cards. I have made 4 phone calls to 4 different numbers all informed me that the gift cards do not expire. Finally at one of these numbers an associate took my information and said they would contact me in 2 days...it has now been 2 weeks. I even emailed the company 2 times with no response. In my last email I informed them that the next step I was taking was contacting your bureau.Thank you for your timeDesired Settlement: To have the gift cards replaced or the value put back on the original cards.
Review: I placed on ordre through Ranbow.com and the agent gave me a confirmation number. That was back on April [redacted]. on April [redacted] I still do not have the order.

I proceed to checkout once I chose my items and I entered the code and I later received a confirmation letter from the item I placed. No 10% off. Over the next few days my order was processing so I made a s second purchase on the [redacted] and received confirmation and monday I received my tracking number with email stating sent. I contacted customer service highly upset through email questioning more info. about my first order and here's what I received; RainbowCS

[redacted]; which I contacted today [redacted] over telephone instead of email and I was told the order I placed was canceled because they didn't have the items at the warehouse. I was told the money would be credited back to my card in 3-5 business days. To conclude I do not have another 3-5 Business days to waste. I need my money credited to my card immediately as of today. False advertising about 10% off and false advertising about what they had available. False information about my products being processed to ship when they were actually being cancelled.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology, refund and complimentary service immediately.

Review: I made a purchase on 10/*/15 [redacted] using my [redacted] account with a confirmation email with my correct shipping address and apartment number. The next day I received a email, that stated my item had been shipped, but on this email no apartment number was on it. So I tracked the package,. On 10/*/15, fed ex stated that the package was sent back to sender because the apartment # was not listed on the package. I contacted rainbowshops.com by the contact # that was listed& spoke to someone who stated that the item did not have the apt# . I informed her that, it did because there were 2 addresses ., 1 that had shipping address ( which had my apartment #) and the other was billing address (which did not have my apartment #)-that's how it's listed on [redacted] & on the email they sent me. So, she told me to reorder the item, which I did. When I received the confirmation email, once again,it did not have my apartment # on it. I immediately contacted them & the person on the phone stated they would put a note for me to have access to retrieve the package from the post office. I tracked the package again & it said it was being returned to the sender., so I went to the post office & they didn't have it, they said it was returned back to the sender. I sent 3 emails to customer service complaining & asking to speak to a manager, leaving my phone #. No one has contacted me through phone call, only emails telling me, my apartment was not listed & that I should re purchase the item. I told them I don't want to repurchase, I want them to send me what I ordered to my correct address as it appears. It's through their neglect & someone not paying attention to detail why I didn't receive my package. Not to mention the 1st item still has not been credited to my [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like the item that I ordered the second time delivered to me&!the items I ordered the first time credited back to my [redacted] account
Review: I placed an order and I was sent the incorrect product. My order number [redacted] and it contained colored linen aqua, coral, and sand linen and linen joggers. I received two aqaua and no coral. Review: I went shopping at the Rainbow on [redacted] checked my bag and after shopping gave the attendant my ticket and left the store. Went in my car to show my husband what I bought him and realized they gave me the wrong bag. I went back to the store told the attendant what happened he called his manager who told me to wait about 10 min to see If anyone comes back no one did and I then asked for a refund due to their carelessness for 109.92 the district manager [redacted] was very rude did not even want to hear my side of the story or even apologize!!! No store policies are written pertaining to loss prevention and I am now out of what I bought and my money. I am very furious and I have shopped at that store for many years and no remorse was shown to a valuable customer.Desired Settlement: I want a written apology from Rainbow and the Rude manager who should be suspended without pay for his cold insensitive behavior and I want a refund for my lost merchandise.
Review: I placed an order on 4/**/2015. An exact order was placed on 4/**/2015. I didn't place that order nor did I authorize it. I tried to return the merchandise to three different stores but they wouldn't take the duplicate order back. I tried to contact the company but have not heard a response back from them. Now I'm trying to contact my credit card company & they are telling me there is nothing I can do. There is no reason I would order 2 identical sets of jewleryDesired Settlement: I want Rainbow to send me a return label & credit my account back what they charged me or allow me to take the merchandise back to a store & return it.
Review: I sent back 3 pair of pants from a previous order in December 2014. The first online representative first told me that they will research to find the items and will call me back, no one ever called. I called in today to find out status and was informed that if a customer sends back items after 30 days they throw the merchandise away and the customer will not receive any type of refund or store credit.
There is nothing stated within the return policy stating that if a customer sends back merchandise after the 30 day time frame that the store will throw away the merchandise and the customer will not be reimbursed in any way.
I find it hard to believe that Rainbow will actually throw in the trash merchandise sent in from customers over the 30 day time frame. Thats $60 worth of merchandise that I sent back in to the company and the company not even contacting the customer to let them know of this "process" or not providing option to send back merchandise to customer.
I am not requesting a refund, simply a store credit as it was not properly disclosed on the company website the true nature of the return policy.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive a store credit for merchandise allegedly thrown away or the return of my merchandise I purchased and sent it to Rainbows clothing store.

Review: I purchased a gift card, prior to buying a cashier told me that I could use the gift card online. I purchase the card, and read the Terms and Conditions on the back of the card which states, "This card can only be used for in-store purchases from rainbow stores, or web purchases at [redacted] up to the remaining value on the gift card." However, when I went online to purchase there was no place to input gift card information. I called customer service and they told me gift cards can only be used in store.Desired Settlement: I would like it if the company would provide a place for giftcards to be used online.

Review: The Rainbow store on [redacted] would not refund my money for a necklace that I purchased stating that jewelry was not returnable. I asked the manager to show me where in the return policy does it state jewelry is not returnable. Which was not in the policy. But proceeded to say that body wear included jewelry. And denied me my refund! Below is the definition of "body wear": bodywear[ bod-ee-wair ]noun1. close-fitting clothing, as leotards or bodysuits, made of lightweight, usually stretch fabrics and worn for exercising, dancing, or leisure activity.Desired Settlement: Refund of my purchase.

Review: I purchased some items online and paid for extra for it to ship in two days. The order did not go out on the day that I was told and it took a week and a day for me to get the items. I reached out to several agents and was told that they would credit me the 16.96 back for my shipping and this will be placed back on my original form of payment on 12/*/2014, It is now 12/**/2014 and I have not seen the credit. When I call the agents are rude and nonchalant and will not put a supervisor on the phone.Desired Settlement: I am requesting my shipping immediately or the next steps would be court. And at that time I will ask for more.

Review: On Rainbow's website, they offer a 10% off coupon for first time email subscribers, however they never sent a coupon to my email address. I also attempted to sign up from my work email address and still never received a coupon. I contacted Rainbow via their customer service contact form, and they still have not responded. I receive multiple email solicitations from Rainbow on a daily basis, sometimes several times during the day, however none of them have ever included a 10% off coupon.Desired Settlement: I would like for Rainbow to send me a 10% off my entire purchase coupon for subscribing to their email list as their website states, as well as a 20% off of my entire purchase coupon for the additional time that I have spent on this matter.

Review: attempted to purchase a $100.00 gift card with 2 day delivery for a total of $107.00. I was charged the $107.00 and never received the gift card. Made several attempts to contact customer service and got I am sorry can't help this is a corporate issue. Sent emails to corporate no help. Attempt to call corporate in New York and the phone is never answeredDesired Settlement: I would like the Rainbow shop to either refund the $107.00 or send me the $100.00 gift card. I only want what I paid for.

Called my mom, Margaret A[redacted] on 11/**/15 @ 5:05pm Said would hold layaway until 11/**/15. It is not the policy of Rainbow's to take phone or mail payments.
Went to make payment 11/**/15 in store was notified that layaway was put back. Spoke to assistant manager Ciera, who said my mom initially spoke to manager Garrett on 11/**/15.
Gave my mom corporate telephone # of [redacted] , this number is incorrect. After further research my mom called correct # ###-###-#### spoke to Tatiana in ** office, explain situation, she noted and said someone would call back in 3 business days. As of today my mom has not received a call back.
We do not know if the items are still available this is poor customer service. I love this store to death and frequent the store often for my daughter and I. I recommended this store for my mom to do her Christmas shopping for my daughter. I have made two online orders (Order [redacted] $54.71 and Order [redacted] $61.25) in the last six months to a year and as previously stated make numerous in store purchase. I am very disappointed with the service that my mother has received to date as the store came highly recommended by me. I am even further disappointed that no one from corporate or in a management position has taken the time to respond or update us on their findings. Please note this letter is also being forwarded to the Revdex.com.
