We are investigating what has happened on our end. This is Ms. [redacted] second Revdex.com complaint (she also complained in July). We stated back in July that Ms. [redacted] is not eligible because she did not follow the claim process properly (it operates like a manufacturer's rebate) but that we would honor her request because it seems she had a difficult conversation with one of our customer service reps.
Review: Back in September I ordered a [redacted] and was asked if I wanted a 30 day trial for 19.95 for American savings pass, which allows you savings online and I replied NO. They have been taking $19.95 from my checking acct. even though I said NO. They have taken out $79.80 from my acct without my permission. They refuse to give me a refund. I do not use this acct often and due to them taking money from my acct. I now have had bounced checks to my bank acct. According to [redacted] they sent me a card in September and I Never received a card. I was told the money was taken out with the name [redacted] pass but according to [redacted] the company's name is [redacted]. I bounced 2 check fees but the bank gave me a fee back, so the total the company took from me is $79.80 plus a $35.00 bounce fee for a total of $109.80.

Review: In March I received my credit card bill and it had a $19.95 charge on it for [redacted]. Their phone # was listed and I called and spoke to [redacted] customer service on 3/10/2014, I explained that this charge was an error because I NEVER order magazines, newspapers, NEVER-None. She said she would cancel this charge with a credit immediately, and gave me a #[redacted] as my case #. On March 26th, yesterday, I checked my account to make certain I had the credit and it was not there, so I called again this AM at 9:00 3/27/2014, and asked why the credit had not been issued. Custom Service person said the company decided not to refund the error they have made. I asked her to send me proof of my written signature agreeing to buy and she said she couldn't do that but she gave me an address to write to. I told her I wanted to speak to someone right then and she said I couldn't that I must write or email. I will not email them because I am not giving them any of my information. I can only guess that they got my credit card number because I purchased some other product from them or they bought credit card numbers. I know that happens, but I absolutely did not buy any of their magazines.Desired Settlement: Refund to my account immediately.

We believe Ms. Gilbey did order Magazine Rewards Plus on January 17th. Her order was confirmed in writing (by First Class US Mail to ensure delivery) on January 21st.
Review: I was told by the rep that I would receive a call from your rewards department to select options pertaining to their promotion. I didn't receive a call or any information regarding the company or promotions offered. Now they charged my account and refuse to refund my money.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund made to my account. I would like whatever promotion they signed me up for canceled.

Ms Williams is mistaken in that she initiated the contact that resulted in our promotion (our magazine service was offered to her after she purchased the [redacted] blender). As a courtesy, we have refunded her charge and canceled her subscription. Thank You.
Review: I made a purchase for a product. At the end of the transaction, I declined other offers. However, one month later, I was charged $24.95 and $14.95 on the same credit card used for the product I purchased and had another $14.95 charge pending to my account. I am positive I did not authorize these purchases because I make a point to decline anything "free" because in the past I had a bad experience trying to cancel something that was "free" for 30 days. I called the number on my credit card statement attached to these purchases and was told that I must have authorized the purchase because they had my credit information and that they would review their records and give me a credit in 10 days if they felt my complaint was valid. Fortunately, when I contacted my credit card company, I was told I would not be responsible for the charges and that they would handle the inquiry on my behalf.Desired Settlement: I just wanted to make Revdex.com aware of the bad practice of this business.

Review: On December 19, 2014, I signed up for [redacted]. I used a [redacted] pre-paid/gift card to pay the $1.95 processing fee. This card had a beginning balance of $35 and more-than-sufficient funds remaining to pay the $1.95 fee. At no time did the representative inform me that it was an unacceptable form of payment. To the contrary, I was told my order had been taken and was also told how to cancel the order before the trial end date should I decide to do so. I was told it would take some time to receive my confirmation postcard and magazines. In the days that followed this transaction, I used up the remaining balance on my [redacted] card and discarded it. I do, however still have ALL the receipts from every vendor who charged the card (other charges equal exactly $33.05 and include $13.99 at [redacted], $5.00 at [redacted], $1.00 at [redacted],$10.08 at [redacted], and $2.98 at [redacted].) The final receipt from [redacted] dated 12/22/14 shows a remaining card balance of 0.00. The $1.95 processing free in addition to the $33.05 in other charges equal the $35 initial card balance and I also have a receipt verifying the zero balance remaining on the card. As I said, I discarded this [redacted] once it had been spent. No statements or any other documentation (aside from the other vendor receipts) are available to show charges or balances on this card. I no longer have the entire 16-digit card number to call the bank for this information. I have tried using the last 4 digits of the card number, but to no avail. On February 19th, I had received no magazines, nor the $50 [redacted] gift card I was promised from [redacted], so I called and was told that my order request was denied the very same day I placed it (Dec. 19th). I was also told at that time that the $1.95 was non-refundable, but the representative agreed to try and request one for me. I was told to call back after Mar. 5th to check on the status of my refund request. I called back on March 9th and was told no refund was given, but that I could try to request a refund by emailing [redacted], which I did. At this point, it was more a matter of principal than about the money because it had turned into quite the hassle. "Clubs" responded by email saying I was never actually charged the $1.95 (a different story than I'd heard before about the $1.95 being non-refundable.). They told me pre-paid/gift [redacted] are unacceptable forms of payment and that I would have to submit a statement from the credit card company if I was insisting that I was charged. (A ridiculous request since pre-paid/gift [redacted] do not generate statements!) I argued that I the card I had used had started with a $35 balance, that I had all other receipts totally $33.05, and that I had a receipt dated 3 days after I applied for their offer verifying a zero balance. They would not accept this as "proof". I then asked THEM to provide proof that they had NOT charged my card, in the form of a screen shot (or print out) showing the card was denied or that it was charged and immediately refunded due to inability to process or whatever. I wanted some sort of proof from their end that the money should still be on the card, since all MY proof pointed to otherwise. They have not responded to this request.Desired Settlement: I want the $1.95 processing fee returned in the form of a mailed check, (NOT refunded to the [redacted] card since I no longer own that card.) That is the VERY least they can do for the trouble I've gone to.

Review: Did not send the $50[redacted] gift card as promised with the trial magazine subscription, stated that the card that needed to be returned to issue the gift card was not received by them. This is a standard response when people do not live up to the offers that they make. The card was returned to them as agreed and even though I took up the matter with a CSR and a CSR Supervisor they would not honor the agreement. Review: Multiple Review: On September 11, 2014, I was informed that purchasing magazines was a temporary situation, and that when I had received my first magazine, I could contact the company and cancel the subscription; this would in no way hamper my receipt of a $50 giftcard to [redacted]. One month later, I had still not received ANY of 5 subscription orders placed NOR had I received the giftcard. I WAS, however, billed $19.95 for the subscription(s). When I contacted the representative(s) --multiple phone calls had to be made, as they kept "accidentally" hanging up on me-- I was informed that this was NOT the deal I had made, and I was now obligated to at least pay this month's bill (which had already been taken). I denied this was accurate information. I insisted I get refunded the $19.95 and the subscription cancelled. They agreed to cancel the subscription, but now I was obligated to go through "official channels" to get my refund. I was also told that the giftcard "expired" 30 days after I placed my order: TODAY (October 11, 2014). And they refused to honor that "gift." I will NOT be receiving the giftcard AND they insist that I pay the fee.

Review: In October 2013 I made a one time purchase and ordered a product from [redacted]. I recently found out that Radius Holdings, LLC aka: [redacted] has been taking money out of my account each month for another service I didn't order. I was told that [redacted] unknowingly gave my account information to Radius Holdings, LLC aka: [redacted]. This company has refused to refund the money they've been stealing out of my account. The customer service department does nothing more than give me the run around and will not provide a phone number to call to take care of this matter.Desired Settlement: I just want a full refund for what they have taken out.

Review: I SUBSCRIBED TO A COMPANY CALLED [redacted] FOR A $2.95 BOTTLE OF A VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT. THE VITAMIN NAUSEATED ME SO I CALLED THE COMPANY AND TOLD THEM I WAS UNABLE TO CONSUME THE VITAMINS. THEY INSISTED THAT I SEND THE BOTTLE BACK TO THEM OR THEY THREATENED THAT THEY WOULD CHARGE ME $29.95 FOR THE SAMPLE, I DID RETURN. THE ADDRESS FOR [redacted] IS [redacted] THEN SOLD MY INFORMATION TO A COMPANY CALLED [redacted] TOOK MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND CHARGED ME FOR ONE YEAR OF [redacted] FOR $19.95. I NEVER SPOKE TO ANYONE AT [redacted] BUT THEY CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE A TAPE RECORDING OF THE CALL THEY MADE TO ME OFFERING THE SUBSCRIPTION AND ME ACCEPTING. I ASKED TO HEAR THE RECORDING BUT OF COURSE IT WAS UNAVAILABLE. THEY TOLD ME THAT A REPRESENTATIVE WOULD CALL ME BACK BETWEEN 48-72 HOURS OF THIS CALL THIS MORNING. I ALREADY KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT CALLING ME JUST LIKE THEY NEVER CALLED ME TO OFFER THE SUBSCRIPTION TO [redacted]. THIS IS SERIOUS WHEN [redacted] CAN SELL MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO [redacted]. THIS IS THEFT AND DECEIT. I AM SURE THAT THEY HAVE DONE THIS TO OTHER CUSTOMERS, ALSO.Desired Settlement: I BELIEVE THAT Revdex.com SHOULD INVESTIGATE [redacted] AND STOP THEM FROM SELLING CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. [redacted] THEN CHARGES THE CREDIT CARD OWNER FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS THAT THEY NEVER AUTHORIZED. THESE TWO COMPANIES SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO CONSUMERS. THERE IS NO TAPE RECORDING OF ME AUTHORIZING THEM TO SEND ME [redacted] FOR A YEAR. THEY WOULD HAVE GREAT DIFFICULTY PRODUCING A TAPE LIKE THAT SINCE I HAVE RATHER AN UNUSUAL VOICE.

Review: After reviewing my Visa statement I noticed 2 different charges of $24.95, on my account Feb 10,2014 and March 12, 2014. The description was [redacted] ###-###-#### CT. I called on March 27,2014 inquiring about the charges and the customer service rep said I had signed up for a rewards service. She also said that I should receive a giftcard for the membership. I never consented to this program and asked for the charges to stop and to credit my account $49.90. I spoke with a supervisor [redacted] and she said to check back with her in 7-10 business days. In doing so the rep said the charges were correct and they were not doing anything about it. I would very much appreciate this matter to be looked into with the credit put back on my visa ending 8333. Thank YouDesired Settlement: Credit to the visa or a check sent to Joan G Gump

Ms. Gump ordered our service on January 3, 2014 and her order was confined in writing 4 days later by First Class US Mail. Her confirmation was not returned to us as undeliverable. We are not clear as to why she did not call sooner, and her actual cancellation date was March 20th, after three months of service (2 charges).
Review: I ordered precision cookware and they offered free magazines for 30 days, a $50 [redacted] card(which I never received). Before the 30 days, I attempted to cancel the magazine subscription and was told by the recording that it could not find my phone number. When I pressed 0 for the operator, it said that the operator was not available and would be available Mon-Fri 8-5. I called today after seeing the $19.95 charge on my bill and was told that I could cancel, but I would not be given a refund. When I explained that I attempted to cancel, I was told that they did not see where I attempted to cancel my subscription.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded my $19.95 and the $30.00 overdraft fee I was charged when it caused an overdraft to my account.

Review: I was billed for magazines that I never received and I cancelled. I requested a refund and was denied. Response:
Magazines take up to 8 weeks or more to start delivery. This is stated in the offer up-front and also reiterated on the welcome notification. We do not agree that there are elements of our program that are listed on our welcome notification that are not mentioned during the original offer. Quite clearly, and this is what [redacted] agreed to, we tell customers that they will be billed after a 30-day free trial. The discount benefits are in place so that customers receive some additional benefits during their free trial (and thereafter) while their magazine service is starting. We also note that this sale was initiated by the consumer. Our welcome notification quite clearly details the date of her charge and, since she mentions that she has read it, should be no surprise to her. However, she waited until after she was billed to call us to cancel. When she agrees to order magazines, as detailed in our offer to her, we then buy magazines on her behalf from publishers to be sent to her home. This is why a refund is not appropriate.
Review: I wanted to cancel the subscription within the first month and could not get to a person. I don't want to be charged each month.
On 3/20/15 I agreed to try the magazine service for $1.95 and was to get a $50 [redacted] card. I had until 4/19/15 to cancel before a monthly charge of $19.95/mo. I have not been able to talk to someone with the # they provided.

Review: I ordered [redacted] antennas from the tv and was offered these magazines from this magazine rewards company and I refused the magazines and the on line discount card they offered, a month and a half later I was charged 24.99 for these products. So before I knew where the charges came from, which they listed as [redacted] I call my bank and reported a fraud charge and they refunded my money, but as soon as I found the company responsible for the charges I called them and they said I would get my refund on the 22nd of September and so I dropped the fraud claim from my bank and the bank put the charges back on my account. I called the [redacted] about my refund which I never received from them, they told me they took care of it with my bank and never did. They cancelled my account with them and I never received my refund.Desired Settlement: I just want my money from them that's due. My bank never received any money from them and they won't give me what's due. I'm really upset that they took it upon their selves to use my card info. for their company gain without my permission.

Review: wife responded to infomercial, cancelled product, but didn't realize she had "enrolled" in this service - service will not refund two months we paid
wife responded to infomercial . . . didn't like product, cancelled - specifically said didn't want name given to any other companies . . . it was - we've been billed for two months from other companies (1 is one I'm writing about) - other company credited our two months bills - this one won't, says non-refundable . . . although maybe not "illegal," this is certainly shadey, sleezy business practice . . . company says it sent letter to inform us . . . we don't remember it (probably b/c is was a "sales pitch" letter or we never got it) . . . I think the company should refund the two months billing ($24.95 per month) -we've not gotten any services from the company, didn't even know we had "enrolled" . . . sure seems illegal or at least underhanded to "attach" this enrollment to other offers over TV (or Internet for that matter) . . . probably in the "fine print" . . .but, then, it's made fine on purpose to catch people . . . yes, I admit, my wife should not have "bitten" on the infomercial -still think the business tactics are underhanded!Desired Settlement: refund the two months "enrollment fees" that I was billed . . . $24.95 per month

We have fully refunded the two charges for our service but there was nothing underhanded about the process. We have a recording of the offer acceptance and invite the customer to call us to listen to how this happened.
To accept our offer, Mrs. [redacted] had to say yes twice, would have heard out toll-free number to allow a cancellation before being billed, AND had to furnish her full credit card number -- separately from her original Dermawand purchase.
We are happy to review this in detail. This is most certainly not a sneaky process but rather a direct offer with a deliberate response.
Thanks.

Review: I signed up for a $1.95 trial with [redacted] s on 2/10/14. The people in their company are very secretive. I honestly signed up to receive the bonus es but decided to use their services. They don't have any after I went to their website I asked them what am I supposed to be doing at your website and surely I received no answer so I canceled it after 29 days. They claimed that I would receive 3 different magazines from 3 different companies within 6 weeks. Today is 6/30/14 and I never received any magazines.Desired Settlement: Also I was told that I would receive a [redacted] Gift card within 12 weeks of them receiving my request. I was told by their supervisor [redacted] that they received my request on April 1st. Many of their representatives said that I would get the card with in 12 weeks also the paperwork that I filled out stated 12 weeks. I honestly believe that this is a scam. A person from their cooperate office said that I will get the card by mid July also she said that they will not return my $1.95.
