As stated, after a verbal dispute was initially received and patients identification was a match, verification of the debt was forwarded to the guarantor and the account was reported disputed to credit reporting agencies as required No further action was taken as we had not received any written dispute after verification was submitted or documentation to support such a dispute for further review This original creditor will receive a copy of the complaint with a request to review the account they submitted to our office for collection

Our records indicated that on 1-5-we received a call from [redacted] and then an email stating we had the wrong number On that day, the complainants phone number was removed as a contact number for a different individual Our firm has researched through our call recording analytics that our firm has not call this number since 1-5-when it was requested verbally and by email to not call Our office received a subsequent email stating we had called on 1-13- No such call recording exists, the phone number was removed from active calling list for the individual to whom the call was intended

I have audited Mr [redacted] accounts assigned to our agency As a data furnished, we are required to report accurate data to the bureaus I see no narrative remarks or letters documented that agree to remove the accounts assigned from the complainants credit historyIt is agreed that our agency did accept a discounted amount as payment in full The agreed upon amount was received and posted July 27, We reported the account(s) as paid in our August, reporting as required Our agency did not agree to barter payment in exchange for a deletion of previously reported items

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meThe complaint was made before PSC honored their agreement.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We will be happy to remove the account from collections if the complainant can provide documentation that she followed protocol for properly transferring ownership The original creditor received ownership information directly from the State of Colorado, DMV If the complainant can provide documentation that the Colorado DMV made an error, we will retract the account from collections It would be in the hands of the complainant to have the DMV correct any documentation pertaining to the vehicle ownership

The complainant has made similar complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) as well as the Attorney General's office His allegations are and without merit I will attest that I have never spoken to the complainant despite his assertions that I promised to remove items previously reported to the credit reporting bureaus The facts are that verification of debts assigned to our office for collection were sent to the complainants attorney in April and to him directly in May Verification provided detailed information on all charges and credits from the original creditor(s) which reconciled to the balances due in collections The complainant sent our office correspondence received June 29, outlining payments he made on accounts in January - Months before accounts were assigned to our office These payments were researched with the original creditor and confirmed to have been applied to other charges not assigned to collection As required, credit reporting bureaus were notified of the consumers dispute Our agency did not agree to remove the account(s) from the complainants credit report We were offered payment in exchange for removing previously reported items and declined based on our practice and policy to report accurate information to credit reporting agencies Respectfully, Angela V [redacted] Manager P.S.C., Inc

Our agency will need additional information to locate an account to review The complainant will need to provide the account number appearing on his credit report associated with this account

I do not recall receiving a copy of this complaint earlier. When the complainants contacted our office we forwarded the dispute to the original creditor(s) Their response was as follows:"The account shows we billed Medicare and the claim denied as info not found or name invalid Therefore we billed Tricare and they denied stating the patient had other insurance prime Meaning MedicareWe then billed the patient asking for insurance card to verify Medicare informationBut got no responseThe claim is too late now to bill either of the insurance".The accounts were cancelled from our office and returned back to the provider Should the complainant have further questions, they may contact the providers office directly

Our office policy was modified January 25, concerning interest discounts offered to consumersMr [redacted] contacted his representative on January 29, and the new courtesy discount amount was offered based on new policy parameters Mr [redacted] complained the discount had changed from a previous conversation he had with a collection agent The call recording was reviewed for verification and discount was honored based on our previous courtesy discount schedule

The hospital could not have checked Medicare as that information was just given when we reached outSecond of course nothing would go through if your running contessa [redacted] with a different persons SSN for the claimAnd we cannot contact the hospital as once the debt leaves their hands it is sent to your office and then after a year or so it is sent to another collection agency which keeps everything on one's creditI tried to come to see payment agreement but what I was asked to pay for a bill I never knew about was too much for me to handleBeing an Active duty service member this has to stop happing to Service members who are always on the move and at times can't keep up with their moving around Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The complainants allegations that we refuse to put anything in writing and he did not receive a "final demand" is egregious Prior to suit in June Mr [redacted] sent a cease and desist and later sent emails to our office and was informed that due to security our office does not communicate via email He continued to send communications via email He later revoked his cease and desist request We provided verification of the debts through the mail as well as the complainant came to our office in July to pick up copies There was not an amicable resolution after verifications were provided.Mr [redacted] was properly served a Summons & Complaint in September and responded to the Complaint Our attorney filed the case in Pierce County Superior Court A demand for settlement was mailed 8-3-prior to the date of the Motion for Summary Judgment on August 21, The Judge awarded Judgment to P.S.C., IncThe charges were incurred between and Mr [redacted] has not made any payment on the charges A wage garnishment was issued as a judicial remedy as authorized by statute

Multicare Health Systems / Good Samaritan Hospital assigned to our agency in various balances due for services provided to the complainants family Charges assigned are balances due after insurance processed the claims Medical providers may assign unpaid accounts to a collection agency There is no "contract" between the consumer and the collection agency but a contract between the original creditor (medical provider) and our agency as a business associate for collection services of unpaid debts. We have reconfirmed with the providers records that the charges are due and owing Verification of the charges outlining the fees/payment and balance due will be mailed to the complainant

Information requested was provided to the complainants attorney when requested The law concerning prohibiting communication directly with a consumer that is represented by legal counsel is very clear Ms [redacted] was advised of this and became angry when she was instructed that all communications were to be directly through her legal counsel and not to contact our office directlyShould she have any questions concerning the balance in collections that is related to her accident -- she is to contact her attorneys office Previously, Ms [redacted] indicated to our office all accounts were included in her case, however, the attorneys office has since indicated this is not correct and has sent Ms [redacted] information on the balance due that is not subject to their representation Her attorneys office indicated they will instruct her that the balance due for services provided by [redacted] on 9-18-are her responsibility

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Because this business admitted there is no signed contract between myself and them, therefore they are not owed nothingThey have been ask to provide a contract between myself and them there is no contractYour attempt to exploit me for money that is not owed to you is fraud I demand this account be deleted Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:1) Mr. [redacted] never authorized the charge of his credit card. 2) The account is also in my name, [redacted] A. ***. 3) Mr. ***' credit report has not been reported with this delinquency. Mine has for some reason we don't understand and cannot get explanation.4) As of Dec 1, 2017, this delinquency still shows on my, [redacted] A ***' credit report although it was stated by the company that it was reported for removal Nov. 13th. 5) I am requesting proof of removal request. Sincerely, *** ***

We advised the consumer that our agency could not cancel the charges but we would check with the original creditor to see if they wanted to review their records and have our agency forward the account to an agency in Texas where the consumer is verified to reside. The account(s) were coded
disputed. The complainant was given dates of service, billed amounts, amounts due after insurance and the providers account number to each account while the matter was being researched
Pursuant to the medical provider, the balances showed -0- as they were written off as bad debt accounts for after insurance was billed. The original creditor states that verification of the debt(s) were mailed to the complainant. The reinvestigation shows that the complainant has unpaid charges from 2013.
PSC shall remove the accounts from the guarantors credit report while she reviews verification of the debts
