Project Management Training Institute, PMTI

The training and follow up I received from PMTI was stellar. It began with very thorough pre-class boot camp. That training was intense and took about 30 self-paced hours to complete but I would recommend to any prospective student that they not pass that up. The boot camp focused me on all of the right topics and I came away with a very good start to my PMP education. This was followed by my in-class experience with a very knowledgeable instructor. The in-class and boot camp training was 100% in sync, making the learning process much easier. All along the way we were tested at appropriate intervals to insure our learning was taking hold. We ended with a mock exam to thoroughly test our knowledge. After taking all of the PMTI exams I also supplemented with other exam material I could find on the internet. It wasn't as focused as PMTI but I would still recommend it for more rounds of test taking. I felt well enough prepared coming out of the 4-day PMTI class to take my exam two days later, on a Saturday. The exam was very hard but I passed on the first try. I give all credit to the boot camp + in class training and testing I received at PMTI!

Originally, I was going to take the in person course but because of COVID, PMTI gave me the option of online if I was not comfortable going to an in person class. I decided to take the online course. Dana Shinbaum was the instructor and he was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable, took the time to answer everyone's questions and was able to keep everyone engaged in the classes. After completing the week long "boot camp", I was able to schedule my exam and pass it on my FIRST attempt! PMTI helps with the whole process, not just the exam. They help you with your application to make sure it's completed properly so it will be accepted, which includes reviewing it before you send it in.
Due to the pandemic, I had to take the boot camp course online. It was easy to schedule and I liked that I could do it at home. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was participating and understood the material. We did practice exams twice a day and reviewed the results. I did not pass the first time I took it, and PMTI took the time to create a study guide for me to make sure I was successful the second time. I passed without issues the second time, and I do not think I would have been able to pass the exam without their guidance and expertise!
I recommend this company and course to anyone seeking their PMP certification!
