Review: I ordered 5 silver $1 eagles (coins) through Professional Coin Galleries website for $111.60. I mailed them a money order within a day of placing the order. The order # was [redacted] and was placed around February **, 2014. Several days after placing the order I received a call from a salesman stating they were "temporarily" out of coins. He indicated that he did not know when they would be receiving more coins and so attempted to convince me to purchase some other higher priced coins. I respectfully declined the offer and said I only wanted the original coins that I had ordered. I continued to monitor the website and they were only "out of coins" for about three to five days from the time I received the call. PC Galleries returned the money order me a few days later, saying they had no idea as to when they would have more coins. After receiving my money order, I continued to get calls from the salesman trying to sell me overpriced coins. He even had the nerve to try to sell me the same coins that I originally had attempted to order, but at a price of $6 more per coin. Silver prices had actually dropped over this time period. I personally believe they are running a "bait and switch" operation and I do not appreciate the fact that I took the time, effort, and expense to purchase a bank check and mail it to them, and then PC Galleries returns my money order and does not honor their advertisement nor the invoice that I have printed out from the website. Since this incident I have become aware of at least one other person that has experienced similar treatment from PC Galleries on the same type of order for silver eagles.Desired Settlement: Delivery of original order to which I will send them a personal check for $111.60 or they should refund me the $6.00 that it cost me to get a bank draft.

We received a money order from this customer but ran out of stock so it was sent back, we have advised the customer to cancel the money order through the issuer as we do not have the funds, please let me know if there is anything else you need
Review: On * Sep I ordered two coins from PCG. On ** Sep I rec'd one coin with a notation on the invoice that the second coin was "to follow". I have sent two separate emails re this problem, the second one asking that my coin be shipped NOW or my money refunded (payment was made on * Sep). I rec'd no response to the emails. I have called at least four separate time (once to the [redacted] personally on his cell phone). The [redacted] told me he was "on it" and that the coin should be received within a week. On ** Oct I talked to a "clerk" and was again insured that I would be receiving my coin shortly, in fact, because I had been waiting so long she would be including a "free" coin in the package. I called the [redacted]'s cell yesterday and was diverted to his mail box, then was told it was full and could not accept any more calls. The same was true of their 888 number today - nobody available to take call, sent to mail box. All of the above refers to Invoice # [redacted], placed * Sep 2014.Desired Settlement: At this stage in the game, credit funds back to my credit card will suffice. Needless to say if they are still in business I will take my business elsewhere.

Customer ordered to 2 coins... The more expensive one was shipped in a timely manner... the other "sold out"... we have gone to our supplier for this particular item and have been backordered as well.. we believe we relayed this to customer on several occasions and offered to send him a free gift for his trouble.. as of the time of this response -the best information available is that the coin and gift will arrive by the end of next week.
