Review: It is very simple. Somewhere around March **, 21014, I ordered some coins on-line from PC Galleries in [redacted](address is 1[redacted]). They were Silver Eagles. The order # was [redacted] that I was given. The amount was $111.66 I purchased a bank check the next day and mailed it. I received a call a few days later from one of their salesman trying to sell me some overpriced junk and I said no thanks; therefore, they must have received my money. I have waited for several weeks and my coins have not arrived. I have contacted them at least three times since placing my order and asked for someone to send me written confirmation as to the status of my order. For example, did you get my bank check?, is my order being processed? is my order shipped?, etc. Each time I am told that I need to talk to some "mysterious" person name [redacted]. I do not know if they even have a person that works there named [redacted] because they refuse to give me his last name. Someone told me it sounded like a bait and switch operation. I just want my coins that I ordered. I have copies of all of the information concerning the order if you need it. I have looked at their web site from time to time and they continue to offer these coins, but have changed the prices up and down at different times.Desired Settlement: I have spent time and money obtaining the bank check and ordering the coins. I wish to have my coins delivered as stated in the advertisement. I would also like an explanation as to why no one will send me something in writing. It is very unusual for the customer service part of a company to not be willing to respond to several requests, especially since they have my money.
Business
Response:
if you look at our other cases you will see a few with the same description, we fell victim to customers from North Carolina trying to take advantage of us, we sent the money back the same way it can, in an envelope, the customer can go to the issuer and get the funds back if they havent received them already
Consumer
Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
As you can see, you are up against the same problem that I have had with PC Galleries.
There is no name associated with their response (I would like to know who at
PC Galleries is responding, I assume it is a person by the name of [redacted]
[redacted].
This is the name I was given by their [redacted], but as I mentioned in my
previous complaint, he never returns any of my calls. )
PC Galleries is the one trying to take advantage of someone by keeping my
money and saying they have returned my money order which is a lie. They
advertised 5 silver eagles and tried to make them
sound “special” by saying “only 5 per address”. I ordered 5 silver eagles and mailed them a money order the next day. They
CASHED my money order. I
have put a copy in the mail to you today
that shows it was cashed by their company. I even went to the trouble of
obtaining a letter from an officer at the bank that you or someone from
PC Galleries is welcome to call and verify. This is also enclosed in a
letter that I will mail today. Therefore,
I would like for PC Galleries to explain to me how I am suppose to “go
to the issuer and get the funds back”. Weeks ago, I sent them a copy of
the money order along with the letter from the bank, but PC Galleries
refuses to acknowledge this fact. I do not know how to attach the copy of the check to this email or would have done so.
They continue to ignore the fact
they have my money and refuse to send me my coins. They are willingly
and purposely withholding my money. It is NOT a mistake and please do
not accept their response if they try to say that
it is a mistake. [redacted], or whoever is in charge of this operation is being purposely
vague about this situation and is being completely dishonest about the
money.
I would like to receive my order. Otherwise, they are probably running the bait and switch operation that I alluded to in my
initial complaint and they can return my money plus the cost of my money order. The Revdex.com needs to investigate this company thoroughly concerning their business practices

The problem is solved. The items have been shipped to the address provided by the client.
Review: It seems like this company does the same thing to everybody. They took over $ 5,000.00 from me for a order of 2015 silver American eagles ms70 with the first day issue west point designation that they said they had in stock and was such a great deal. After charging my credit card for the full amount, no order came when promised, and when I called them, all of a sudden the coins were not in stock yet, they were waiting for them and will be in there possession in a day or 2. After several more stories, and when I asked to be refunded, all of a sudden the coins just magically showed up and would ship out that same day. Well were 1 day shipping away, but the box actually came after 3 days, and when I opened it up, guess what? They were not the coins as promised. They were the p mint, that is a lot cheaper, and not the west point mint. Right away I called to see why this was, and the answer was " They are the west point mint, just without the west point labels!" Now this is a company that deals with coins on a everyday basis, and there telling me, a collector for years, that there the right coins, just the label is wrong! How stupid do they think I am? Do they get other people to fall for this??? Well needless to say the coins were sent right back, and after them trying to get me to buy other things instead, they promised to give me a full refund. To this day, still no refund, just a bunch of stories and lies, and I was even cursed over the phone by the stores [redacted].
I have several emailes and text stating everything I saw is true, and still no refund.
This is 1 place everyone should really stay away from! Un professional, un courtious, New York thieves!
Check out all the same complaints about that they do this to everyone.Desired Settlement: Full refund and never to be called by them again!

Review: I ordered two sets of coins from them, order #[redacted]and order #[redacted], I had e-mailed them to see if they could combine them to save on shipping. In an e-mail response from them this morning they said no which was fine. They never mentioned anything about cancelling my order in that message. I checked on status of order and said it was awaiting fulfillment. I then checked again this afternoon and it said I have no orders with them and they credited my money back to my account. All this was done with no communication from them at all. I have no idea why they cancelled my order at this point, so I am not sure what to put in the above Primary Nature of Complaint.Desired Settlement: I want them to deliver the products I ordered from them at the price I payed for them.
Business
Response:
We imported several products to the site that did not upload properly, we then proactively contacted the customer to advise him that there is no stock and voided his sale, please note the sale was authorized and never captured.
We thrive on customer satisfaction and hate to see an upset customer, with that being said we honestly dont have these items any longer, we would love to send the customer a free gift as a resolution.

Review: After buying a few coins from this business they are inundating me with phone calls sometimes several times a day and even from different sales people. I have requested to be removed from the call list but I still am getting phone calls. The website telephone number is not being answered it just goes into voice mail. I decided to block the number on my phone but they are calling from a different number. I will never buy from this company since they are so hard to contact. I initially just wanted to be called every few weeks but this company is actually horrible in customer service.Desired Settlement: Stop calling me forever. There are companies that are more reputable and dependable.

Review: Professional Coin Galleries delivered a different coin than what was originally promissed and has not made any good effort to arrange for the return of the coin for a full refund. Review: This company had sent me the wrong items, the wrong amount of product, and than took 2 weeks to pay me back and they still did not send me a check in the amount of $16 for the return shipping cost of the wrong product.
I had contacted the woman named [redacted] and she had told me now three times that the check is in the mail and the last time she told me that I will sent out tomorrow .
I am feed up with this place, I had to bug them even to get my original refund for the order that they sent me that was the wrong pictured item that I was told I will be getting.
I advise any other collectors out there to Stay Away from this place, nothing but ** and a Head Ache Here !!Desired Settlement: I want the $16 that I am owed. And I wish not to be contacted anymore by sales persons.

Review: In a recent order, one of the coins I received was underwei[redacted], had the wrong mint mark, and had a big ding on the back.
I sent a message through the website, and when no response, I called. [redacted] said she would send me a return label so I
could mail the coin back at PCG expense and get a refund, but that was on 5/**/14 and I have not yet received the label.
After several calls, I was told it had been sent on 5/** and should have arrived by now. 6/* I called back and was not able
to reach [redacted] on the phone to check the status of the label. I was put on hold and after 8 minutes I hung up to try again.
No one answered the phone, so I decided to try my call again the next day. On 6/* I called again and got [redacted]. When I told
her who I was and what I wanted, she hung up on me. I was not able to reach her on the phone after that, phone just kept
ringing. So I gave up.
In the meantime, 5/** I called and spoke with [redacted], he said to just return the coin and they would pay for the
return postage, but didn't say how to do it. Website says package needs insurance and return receipt signature, in addition
to the postage. These fees are extras, and I was not able to ascertain whether or not they would also pay those costs and
how I would go about recovering postage and fees in addition to postage.
Again, In the meantime, on 6/[redacted] called me asking if I want to buy Silver Eagle coins. I said not at this time.
Today, on 6/[redacted] called again selling silver. When I said that I couldn't possibly buy any more coins from PCG if they could not
facilitate the return of the Morgan they said I could return for refund.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate a postage paid return label so I may return my Morgan Dollar, and a prompt refund,
OR clear instructions on exactly what I need to pay for out of my pocket up front for postage and fees,
and a guarantee that I'll get reimbursed for postage and fees.

[Your Answer Here]
This is a follow up to a case I filed on June *, 2014. When I hadn't received any communication on this case up til now, I logged into the Revdex.com and saw my claim and noticed that it was responded to and I did not find any email about the response. I even went through my trash and found nothing. [redacted]I appreciate the response from PCG and the fact that they said they said a stamped addressed return envelope was sent to me on two occasions and I have not yet received any. I have not yet responded because I have heard nothing from the Revdex.com or PCG. I did not call [redacted] back because I did not get the label. I did receive the wrong coin and do not feel that I should not have to pay to send it back for a refund. I don't think a stamped addressed envelope is the best way to send the coin back to PCG for a refund. As they say on their web site, there should be insurance and tracking. Through the USPS that costs $5.47 (1st class pkg $2.32, Insurance on $30 is $2.10, USPS Tracking is $1.05). When they send me a return label, it should already cover postage, insurance, and tracking. I provide that for my [redacted] customers. It's not a big deal. If the label was sent to me twice, I should have received them both. I trust the mail. This issue is not resolved until I get my appropriate label, I return the coin, and receive my refund. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I reject this response, but would like to cease pursuit and close this case, obviously PCG is unwilling to admit that they
Never sent me 4 Return Mailers previously mentioned.
The May refund of $30 was for a 1898 Morgan that they said they were unable to send.
I ordered two other items at the same time. A 1898-S Morgan which I received and is just fine.
The other was a 1898-O Morgan Silver Dollar. As I have mentioned before, there was NO "O"
mint mark. the coin was underweight, and there was a big ding on the reverse. This item was
not what I ordered, so I asked PCG for a return mailer so I could return the coin for a refund.
I was told that mailers were sent, but I never received any of them.
Please close this case with my negative comments about this company. This matter is no longer
worth my time.
