I am rejecting this response because:THIS ISSUE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED; BUSINESS *CLAIMED* TO HAVE SENT CHECK: DID NOT DO SO. Cyprus refuses to refund paid in advance funds for terminated periodic maintenance agreement. No service has been provided from these payments. Have contacted company directly three times to obtain refund, but they refuse to send back money they have provided no service or merchandise for. Our owner spoke with you on the day of the install, 9/5/2015 at length about your concerns about the pricing and the holes that were cut in your ceiling by your contractor and even offered to stop the job right then and refund you the deposit you had put down but you had decided to keep the job moving forward.In response to the holes in your ceiling you did have your contractor come out and cut the holes for us but they were too small for the system you were getting in stalled. There were also studs in the way of the installation and also your system you had previously to the one we replaced was still in the ceiling so we had to remove 2 old systems instead of the one that we replaced which we did and no extra charge.I would be happy to send out someone to repair the hole in your ceiling for you at no extra charge as a jester of good faith.  Please contact me at ###-###-#### so we can coordinate it.Indira G[redacted]General Manager

My name is Christine and I am a Customer Service Manager for Cyprus Air.
I recently received a notification from the Revdex.com regarding a service call Cyprus Air performed on August 26th, 2014at [redacted] VA [redacted].
I understand you have...

some concerns regarding the amount you were billed.
You mentioned that the [redacted] 6000 Thermostat could be purchased on [redacted] for $65.00 and you were upset with the amount of your invoice.
Cyprus Air does  not purchase parts on [redacted], we purchase directly from the Manufacturer.  We cannot guarantee the authenticity of any parts purchased on [redacted] or the legitimacy of companies doing business on that site.
You may very well be able to purchase that particular thermostat on [redacted] for $65.00  but that price does not include the installation of the part and electric wiring work that is necessary for the thermostat to function properly with your system.
The fee you paid on August 26th was $864.85, which included $149.00 for the diagnostic (inspection) of the system and $715.85 for installation/labor.
After speaking with the General Manager, Indira A[redacted], she has agreed to refund the diagnostic fee of $149.00 and offer you a one-year, free maintenance contract with Cyprus Air.
The maintenance contract is valued at $288.00 and will cover one 50 point inspection on the heating and cooling system next year.
You may call at any time in the next 12 months to schedule your visit and the service technician will inspect the heating and air conditioning at the same time.  (Please note that the air conditioning inspection can only be performed when the outside air temperature is above 60 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore, it would be best to schedule during the summer or early fall).
  I am normally in the office Monday-Wednesday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Your satisfaction is important to us.   Please call me as soon as possible so that we can resolve this issue.

I am rejecting this response because:  your company came out this morning and told us that they forgot to order the panels for the sides and bottom of the fireplaces.  Now it is going to take another month to order and get these panels.  I find this totally unacceptable.

I am rejecting this response because:I have not received a copy of the contract as stated by company representative.There were two rebates at the time I purchased which were combinable.  One was in amount of $1000 from the manufacturer which the Company (Cyprus) deducted from the sales price as an instant rebate.  The other rebate was an energy efficiency rebate from [redacted] which under those program rules needed to be filed by Cyprus as the [redacted] approved contractor.  Cyprus did not want to instantly apply that $1250 rebate because they said it took too long for them to get the check and that they would submit the rebate for me to get the rebate payment from [redacted].  Unfortunately, the [redacted] rebate program requires the contractor to submit the paperwork.  The customer cannot do it.  So, in good faith, I relied on Cyprus to submit the rebate paperwork to [redacted] with the rebate to be sent to me.  I have not received the rebate check from [redacted].  Since, the program requires the contractor to submit the paperwork, I cannot contact [redacted] to find out what happened.  Cyprus cannot even tell me that they did submit the paperwork.  Again, only the contractor can submit the paperwork to [redacted], not the customer.  In good faith, I trusted that that would happen.The rebate program is still in existence, so a possible resolution would if Cyprus is willing to file the rebate paperwork and follow through that it happens so that I get the rebate.Regards,

The company informed me when the work was to be done I had to pay a fee of $1995.00 to have them install a part that was under warranty. I was then told the service to have the part is installed was under a one  year warranty and it had expired a month earlier. Then I was placed on hold after complaining and they gave me a price of $1200.00 to have the ac repaired. I was at their mercy because I was in the process of selling my home and had no other choice. I called and cancelled the warranty service since a new owner resides there. I don't think any customer should be held on a service  fee to have work done when their product is defective  I feel the funds should be reimbursed for customer satisfaction especially when I had to lose 4 days of work waiting for them to show up
