Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Clearly this company needs the money more than I do which is just shamefulHow they can be Revdex.com Accredited with an 88% bad review rating is beyond meThis is not an isolated incident with bids that never result in a return call and ends up being money you waste because while they 'refund' your money the only thing that happens is yet another bid that results in no contactBy their own admission bids and not a single one even resulted in so much as a customer contacting me back? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:It doesn't address the original complaint I originally stated that a Porch.com telemarketer called me and sold me a product that I clearly stated and it was clearly agreed to that I would be on a month to month program After going through the extensive, ***e consuming, process of setting up my account I was informed that I could not be on a month to month program, I had to buy months at a ***e I feel this is a Bait and Switch sales program Porch.com says they have partnered with the Revdex.com and *** I don't believe what they did was ethical, and Id like a response from the Revdex.com and Porch.com stating why they think it is ethical As a side note, the credit took more than weeks to process??? We definitely strive to provide an excellent experience for our customers and it seems like we can just do a better job of explaining the lead credit policy so that you have clear expectations up frontI'll explain below but here is the link in case you don't already have it: http://porch.com/pro/resources/lessons/pay-as-you-go/It sounds like you're experiencing two core issues;A homeowner has responded to you and has decided to work with another contractor only after a few minutes of time.I will ensure that you have this lead returned to your account balance todayMoving forward this is not eligible for a credit Situations like this are included in the price of the lead so the faster you can respond to a homeowners request, the more that this is avoidedHomeowners aren't responding to youThis is a core problem for customers of lead generation companies and we are currently testing a solution to thisAs you can see in the policy linked above, we will allow these types of leads to be returnable if you call the homeowner quickly, contact them multiple times and leave feedback Admittedly it isn't the most ideal process but we are testing solutions to solve this problem for our customers and we are unique in offering returns for leads that meet this criteriaI also made sure that these leads were returned to your account balance and moving forward all you will have to do is follow the policy and they can be returnedWe see that if you call quickly and try to contact the homeowner more than once that your chances of connecting are much higher so hopefully this becomes a less common issue.I am very interested in making sure you feel like we are your partner and I hope that this has helped answer your questions and resolve your concerns.If you need anything else then email [email protected] and ask for Matthew B so that we can setup a time to connect over the phone.-Matthew B

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Job leads from fictional costumers is not only unacceptable but unexpected as the card they have on file expired in 2014, I did initiate signing up in and soon after stopped using Porch, the credit card they have on file is a card that expired in 2014, so when I signed back up I expected some sort of correspondence for a current credit card #, But much to my surprise I was shocked to find the funds already withdrawn from my account on an expired credit card, I've takin that mater up with my bank and have requested a new card, this mater is being investigated by UBS who holds my accountI expect A full refund of the entire amount of two hundred dollars and the still active account closed Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:What happened was Porch had a non-ethical sales rep. He explained the program to me. I told him I would try it for 1 month and if it worked out I would continue. Only then did he bring up the fact that I would need to sign up for 3 months. First of all that should have been said in the initial description of the program. When he told me that I needed to sign up for 3 months, I explained that it was not a program for me. When I told him I didn't want the service, he then told me that I could just sign up for 1 month. There is the unethical part. Apparently he felt that once I spent a half a day filling out my profile and uploading all my jobs that I would just be fine with the 3 month commitment. He should have not allowed me to sign up at all when I told him that I would only sign up for 1 month at at ***e. As it turned out I wasted my ***e with the profile and the job uploading. I've wasted my ***e filling out this BBB complaint. I then wasted my ***e further when they didn't credit my credit card and I had to call the credit card company (that takes a while!). All in all it was a big waste of my ***e that could have been easily avoided had the sales rep just said, sorry I can't set you up in our program, or they decided to go ahead with the month - to month plan.DESIRED RESOLUTION:I would like them to re-instate me for 1 month at no charge.Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Mr*** signed up with Porch and was onboarded to our platform on January On this call his customer support manager covered his initial 90-day agreement, his service area and services to list on his profileThe rep spoke with Mr*** on February and he expressed concern about some
product issues, which Porch worked to resolve
On 2/Mr*** reached out with some concerns regarding out of area leadsHis rep left him a voicemail stating that we re-set his service map and to keep him posted on the quality of project requests that were coming through. Mr*** provided feedback that only of the requests were rejected because they were out of area
Mr*** sent an email expressing his displeasure with Porch and his rep called him to address these concerns and to explain that he was still in his 90-day term that he agreed toWe offered to provide greater assistance to improve his experience, but Mr*** was not interested in working with us furtherWe agreed to let him out of his 90-day term and refunded his second charge, even though this went against the terms of our agreement
We feel that we have treated him fairly throughout the process and would be happy to have the opportunity to keep working him
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I am not interested in working with Porch any longer I have already terminated the relationship on the fact that I was mislead Additionally, the calls that you claim that I did not interact with is completely false I did talk with my account manager several times....over the phone and via email After reading the other reviews and complaints post through Revdex.com, I feel 100% confident that I made the right decision to severe the relationship considering other people have experienced the exact same issues that I have When you think it's everybody...it obviously isn't everybody as it all goes back to Porch misleading people and not doing what they promised
I have zero interest in working with Porch I simply want my money back based on the misrepresentation It would certainly show a good faith attempt to remedy the situation if Porch agrees If Porch does, I will be happy to leave a review for the business stating that while Porch wasn't a good fit for our business, they did do what they could to remedy the situation Otherwise, I will make my experience known as much as possible

We are very happy to work with Mr*** and help him be successful with Porch We have a video in this playlist that explains how to successfully refund a bad lead: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4O46MNuo9iA_apERxxNzq2k8nET4Rpnb .I have attached a screen shot that shows Mr*** received a credit back to his account on 3/9/ I also want to reiterate that Mr*** has not spent any money with Porch so far, we have supplied him with a $credit balance that he is free to use to test us out and to ensure that he wants to work with us.We do filter out spam leads from coming through our system and if for any reason a lead makes it through to a contractor, we have a simple refund process that the customer can do themselves
