Polaris has spoke to consumer on case # C- [redacted] Consumer was provided with a $PGA coupon to resolve this concern
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me; however, Polaris Industries still has the true date of first use incorrect and as such has shorted me from approximately months of factory extended warranty I will agree to accept this resolution though because quite frankly Polaris Industries has worn me down and I no longer have the energy nor the time to continue to insist that Polaris Industries recognize the true date of purchase for this vehicle.Thank you to the Revdex.com for your assistance in reaching this resolution[redacted] J [redacted]
Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/10/14) */ We have reached to customer on 10/7/and 10/12/There has been no response from the customer
I am rejecting this response because: there is nothing to support there claim that the drive shafts failed to prevent further damage if anything a bent drive shafts would cause more damage there was no damage to the undercarriage that the drive shafts is protected buy there are numerous cases of these drive shafts bending and it is bent not twisted or broken

I am rejecting this response because: I have spoken to Polaris Rep I have not declined assistance from Polaris I simply stated that I should not have to bring my vehicle to a repair facility outside of a mile radius Polaris could have offered that my vehicle be towed to a facility capable of completing the repairs So I would not have to be inconvenienced The facility I purchased was miles away and has since closed Had I know that the dealership where I purchased was closing I would have taken that into consideration before purchase The Repalso indicated that the parts are still not readily available So no matter the facility recommended my vehicle still is not scheduled for repairs This vehicle is considered a motor cycle, It does not provide front impact protection, does not have safety features of a standard motor vehicle I accept that but when there are significant safety issues, I have decided to stop use till repairs are made I received the recall notice October 24, and as of 5-23-the vehicle has not been scheduled for repairThis has been mo This is completely unacceptable Ohio Lemon Law indicates that repairs are to be made within a reasonable time All Ohio Motor Sports is the facility closets to my home They indicated to me that my vehicle may be able to be scheduled for repairs possibly June and that they would contact me As of today no call has been received from All Ohio to schedule I will continue the Lemon Law process with my lawyer I am open to discussion with Polaris The final disposition I will accept from Polaris is return of vehicle with no or partial refund

I am rejecting this response because: I'm just very disappointed in Polaris and the vehicle I purchased they obviously don't want to satisfy there customer, the axles broke on there own by using it the proper way, and I feel it is a deffect because it broke in between the 3rd time using the vehicle after and this happensthe axles are weak so they break? That doesn't make sense to me?
I am rejecting this response because: This did not even fix the problem They made me pay for a belt labor and an oil change There is nothing wrong with the belt they took off$for a vehicle and it does not even last daysRIP OFF there is no reason I should have to pay that amount

Polaris has spoke to consumer on Case # C- [redacted] Consumer has been advised tire part number was in stock and on order from the dealership

I am rejecting this response because: After reading reviews and talking with other owners, this seems to be a big issue with extremist riding most see this with in the first 25-miles however I don't ride much and it sits most of the timePolaris needs to own us to the issue and take care of the repairs in full parts and laborThese machines cost a lot of money and should be able to much much more then the adverse rider does and this major failure is a result of poor manufacturing and should not fall on the customerPolaris needs to make this right
Polaris is actively working with this consumers dealership on this case. No further action will be taken.
I am rejecting this response because: Polaris still has not contacted me about this issue I have called and called, but still nothing The local shop is not responsible for this, but Polaris is not working with them (this is Polaris) Again I still can not use this product I purchased from Polaris
Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2015/08/25) */ We are currently working with the consumer and consumer's dealership to find a resolution for all parties involved Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 13, 2015/08/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have received one phone call from Polaris requesting informationThe man said he was looking into the matter, that was August 3, I have heard nothing from Polaris or the dealership since thenI emailed the dealership asking if they had any further information on the problem on 8/24/and have not received a response from them eitherI do not feel this response is satisfactory or that I am inclined to dismiss my complaint with your bureau on the basis of their response Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 21, 2015/09/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) There is no information here but I spoke with them on the telephone todayThey have refused to cover any damages and have said that we subjected the machine to extreme conditionsWhen asked what those were they replied that we were towing a 2000# sprinkler with itThat is what the machine is rated for and what we specifically inquired about when purchasing this machineNow they are saying that it is rated for that but it requires "special maintenance" to do thisNo special maintenance was ever suggested previously and when the machine was taken to the dealer in September of and March of nothing was said at that timeThey were requested to check the transmission closely because I felt it was still not right and they said everything was finemonths later the entire transmission is shot and all the bearings and cv jointsPolaris has refused to make right what is obviously a lemon or at least a product that is not what it is advertised as Final Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 19, 2015/09/17) */ Polaris(c) will not be able to provide assistance in the cost of consumer's unitBased on the information & photos provided of failed components, the damages in question are not a result of manufacturer workmanship or manufacturer defect in materials, not warrantableThe damages are caused by frequent heavy and severe use, lack of preventative maintenance, lack of frequent inspections to prevent break-down, components or pushed beyond wear until failed, they are not suddenly failed items, wheel bearings were beyond worn and used until collapsed/failed as an exampleTie rod ends were stressed beyond their designed limits bent/damaged by excessive force, not a defectAll other items are similar cases This vehicle operation & application certainly applies to Severe Use, frequent water immersion, prolonged heavy load applications, among combinations of maximum load application / wet and rough terrain as expected in fields, and no indication of frequent servicesParts were pushed past wear until failure & break-down The failures in question are nut subject of manufacturer defects but wear by severe use & application

This "cut and paste" answer is what I have come to expect from big businesses, the way that they completely ignore and belittle their customers, the way that they can make up their own rules and feel that they will never be held accountable On their website, the dealership, and of the customer service people that I spoke with told me as some point that I could get warranty work done for my new and fully paid for Indian Scout at a Victory dealership, as Polaris owns them bothAnd now they blatantly ignore my complaint from the Revdex.com, and put up this answerNO, I do not accept the response from Polaris/Indian/Victory Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 11, 2015/10/01) */ Warranty claims will need to be made at authorized Indian Motorcycle dealershipWe will not be able to assist with customers request to have his Indian Scout get warranty service performed at Victory Motorcycles dealershipThere will be no further contact involving this matter
I am rejecting this response because: I just called the dealership I purchased my Polaris Razor from to see if indeed they were starting to receive the parts needed to complete the recallThey told me they haven't received any parts in over a week and that my name was still on the call listIf Polaris Industries can't do any better than this when it comes to solving customer complaints, this will be the last ATV I ever purchase from them and I'll make sure all my friends who are stuck in this situation with me feel the same way I believe Polaris feels they can just ride this out over time and to hell with the customerThey're not making any points with the local folks around this areaThis is just unacceptable
