Platinum tax service took my case after getting all tax records in place it took just a short time to fix my problem I highly recommend them not only did they resolve my tax problem they get me money back from the levy

MrP*** hired Platinum Tax Defenders to prepare his taxes for We filed an extension for him and he was still providing us expenses to deduct after the deadline The penalty he received from the IRS had nothing to do with the late filing it was a failure to pay estimated tax
payments which is under his control We did not lose his records or files He picked them all up from our office There is no 'loss of property" as he states.
We offered to do a penalty abatement as a courtesy and we are still awaiting that decision from the IRS He is not due a refund because we prepared and filed his tax return as we were hired to do If MrP*** would like us to stop working on the Penalty Abatement, please advise and we will withdraw and close his case This Penalty Abatement process is extra work that he did not pay us to do.
Sincerely,

IIn response to
*** and *** ***'s case, throughout the entire resolutions process, we assure our client's that we will "Resolve" their tax matter in a manner that is within their ability to pay and that does not create a financial hardshipRegarding Ms***'s particular case, we made it very clear verbally as well as via email that our goal was to establish a resolutions plan that both she and the IRS could live withThere is no mention whatsoever in our formalized documentation that promises that tax debts are "reduced" arbitrarilyOn the contrary, we specify in the initial documentation that our responsibility to our clients is to provide protection from unforeseen garnishments, levies liens and asset seizuresWhen the opportunity to get tax debts “reduced" legally arises, then we always pursue that particular course of actionHowever, not everyone is eligible for that specific resolutions planas we informed Ms ***.
Ms*** was told based on the initial financial information that she sent us that she did not qualify. We informed her that we can try for an offer in compromise but because of her 401K, it may be problematic. Otherwise, we can put her in a lower streamline payment plan and work on penalties. She opted for the offer in compromise. We prepared those documents and sent them to her. We have done pretty much everything on her case. She had to sign those documents and then they were to be submitted to the IRS. At that time, she decided she wanted a refund.
In closing, the language in our PTD Agreement is very clear and precise and clearly states the definition of resolutionWe do not have "fine print" and therefore, had Ms*** simply thoroughly read the agreement, she would have clearly understood that she was paying for a resolutions plan that was designed to protect her and satisfy the IRS at the same time. Ms*** is not entitled to a refund based on the contract that she signed, the work that we have done and her direction to do so. If she still wants us to file the Offer in Compromise, we are happy to do so

To Whom It May Concern:
I have numerous documents that show and reflect the opposite of what MrB*** claims We have gone above and beyond what MrB*** paid us for and do not feel a refund is warranted or fair He claims he knew the Offer in Compromise would be a long shot However, the point now is that we have exhausted all options of trying to make the Offer in Compromise work I have said all along, we are happy to place him in an installment agreement, however, I do not wish to do this without his authorization So, that is my offer to MrB*** Shall we proceed or close his case?
Sincerely,
S*** ***

I came to Platinum Tax Defenders out of desperationThe IRS was sending me notices, even one that stated they would seize my propertyI tried calling the IRS over and over and could never speak to an actual human beingI heard an ad on the radio for Platinum and gave them a callThe person on the phone was respectful and told me what they could do for meI signed up with them and they protected my property and got an agreement with the IRS, everything I wantedIt is a shame that the IRS is the way it is, but I am glad this company was there to bail me out

When Pedro Salazar signed up with Platinum Tax Defenders, he told us that he had a $2,income monthly and had no assets This was a complete fabrication of his facts The reality is that he had an income in of $400K and $725K equity in a house worth over $Million dollars When MrSalazar come to us, he already had a bank levy in place We released that levy and put him in an installment agreement and got him back his money (approximately $30K to date) In addition, MrSalazar lives in Puerto Rico and claims he doesn't get his mail He came back with another levy because he defaulted his installment agreement and we once again, released a levy and got the majority of his money back The offer he is in reference to was based on the lies he told us about his income and assets We were planning to go in that direction until our due diligence reflected the reality of his situation We have explained to MrSalazar on numerous occasions that he was not paying for an outcome, he was paying for resolution services and in addition, there is no way to make an offer work with the IRS under his circumstances The OIC program is for people who are experiencing a hardship, not someone in MrSalazar's position We had to resolve his case twice with the two levies and two installment agreements, not to mention the offer that was started until we found out how much money he made MrSalazar did a chargeback on his AMX card so I don't understand why he is asking the Revdex.com for his money back This man was verbally abusive to everyone on staff and since our work was completed, his case is closed I will not do another offer for him This has been communicated to Pedro in the email below This case is settled on all frontsEmail sent on November 20th, P***,
In March when the discussion of being put into a hardship program was a MENTION not a promise. I am not sure what your referring to having the IRS take your tax debt to zero, that does not happen.
To date we have put you into payment plansgotten you 30K back from a bank levySubmitted a Offer and Compromise for 2k. It is not our fault that you do not get your mail that is sent to the Monrovia addressEverything we get from the IRS, you get a copy of sent thereThey are not going to mail your letters to Colombia, which is were you live.
You call and yell and cuss at the entire staffYou have been talked to time and again regarding this matter. If you don't like what one person tells you, you think that you can try and bully another staff person into doing what you consider is the "right" thing for youI am hear to tell you that we have gone over and above our contract with your case. You have called your POA personal cell phone, filled it with voice mails as well as called everynightnight after nightYou have no respect for my staff at any level.
You have 200K in a retirement account and with that alone the IRS would want to be paid in full.
You have a tax debt of $31k for the tax year The payment plan that you have been placed on will allow you to pay that off in monthsI hope the action that your referring to is paying this off in the most recent payment plan that has been set up for youWe have fulfilled our contract in fullSincerely,

C***:
At no time did you come to us and ask for a refund or explain your dissatisfaction I have a call system that allows me to search by telephone number and the only time you called was on 6/but you didn't leave a message Then you claim you contacted us on July 3rd which we were closed for the July 4th holiday We called you first thing Monday morning when we returned to the office In addition, you claim that $7,is for a CDP hearing It is not (please see your contract) The $7,is for full blown resolution In your particular case, we are planning to submit an offer in compromise I listened to the call with A*** yesterday and you never stated that you were still unsatisfied In fact you stated that you wanted us to move forward with the offer documents which were sent to you yesterday in the mail I believe it is not representative and unfair for you to say one thing to us and claim something different to the Revdex.com What do you want us to do MrM***?

Platinum Tax Defenders

I’m submitting this non-solicited review of Platinum Tax Defenders today on Actually in the interest of full disclosure, I wrote this on 2.27.14, and am submitting it in early March I had to look for some documentation so nothing here was inaccurate or incomplete, hence the delay in submitting it
I want to talk about Platinum Tax Defenders at length because they have been a savior in our family’s lives this past couple of years
If you want just the quick nuts and bolts: IRS bill in excess of $250,000… Settled for $3,754…
I would encourage you however, to take the time to read this entire review…because it’s all important and pertinent when it comes to these types of cases
I’m not going to be the guy that takes two minutes to write a quick incomplete review, with no real content or helpful information And I’m putting my contact information at the end of this review, because if my words are to become public, I’ll make damn sure I have the documentation to back them up… So feel free to contact me personally to talk about anything I’ve written here…I’m not one of those it internet bashers or tough guys that write a bunch of total BS, just because they know they’re “safe” from anyone actually disputing what they wrote….good or bad…
What I am, is a good guy, probably a lot like yourself…, who was in business with his son, and we lost our business, our income, and now I’m in failing health, and struggling to afford gas money for my tank, and food money to eat…., much less trying to deal with the IRS, or find a way to pay them a fortune that we don’t have…
I intend for this to be very detailed, because people who are considering doing Offer in Compromises with the IRS, need to understand the process, and also the timelines and time-frames involved with these deals… Many people are led to believe by other companies who claim to be “experts” in the field of IRS negotiations, are taken advantage of by unscrupulous businesses who are only in this business to turn a profit….., regardless of the outcome for the individuals they claim to be helping
How do I know this? My son and I both have huge IRS bills that have pretty much ruined our lives for the past several years You will see from this review, that my son and I are still very attached business-wise and personally, and for in this review, I am reviewing my son’s case which is now accepted and complete
I had a different company attempt to do Offer in Compromise for both myself, and my son’s cases, and paid them thousands of dollars to try to get the offers accepted, and in the end, we were in worse shape financially than before, and had no accepted deal for either myself or my son…
Then I found Platinum Tax Defenders Actually, I was referred to them by a very reputable CPA firm, who took an interest in our cases I was immediately contacted by not only the attorney on staff for Platinum Tax, but also the owner of the companyI must tell you that after now having almost a two year business relationship with the owner, I feel the need to express that She is one of the most kind, gracious, and compassionate people I have ever had the honor of knowing or working with...and thank you Sherri, with all of my heart Anyway, they went out of their way to educate me on the process, and to stress to me that this was not an overnight fix They made sure I knew that all Offers in Compromise take time How much time? Well, let’s give you a timeline for my son’s case:
In late 2012, we contracted with Platinum Tax to represent my son’s case with the IRS, and they immediately put together the paperwork and documentation for his case We were fortunate in that our previous attempt had educated us, and also prepared us to provide to Platinum, the documentation they needed to build his case
Initial documentation and application were submitted only after they contacted IRS to make sure they had everything needed or required by IRS for his specific case “Oh my, what a surprise, someone who was representing me us, actually took the initiative to make contact and actually “represent”…”
Ok, so details with my son’s case, which is finished and accepted, and my ongoing case..., will be different from yours…Timelines for each case may be different as well… In my son’s case, there was contact between Platinum, representing him, and the IRS, numerous times, and each time, they would immediately contact us to inform us what was happening, what was needed, etc…, to move the case along Now I want to disclose that we’d get a small surprise from the IRS every once in a while, trying to be difficult with our case, but in each and every instance, Platinum Tax Defenders went to bat for us, and negotiated terms, and got the case moving again in forward direction So let’s flash forward to the latter part of
In September of 2013, the IRS finally sent Platinum, and us, a letter stating they were going to agree to accept the offer in compromise, if my son agreed to send them an additional $2754, which along with the $we sent them with the initial offer application, totals $ Again, his bill was over $250,
He couldn’t sign the final letter of agreement fast enough..., and sent $as down payment on the additional $they were seeking to collect
I tell you these numbers because it was tough for us to raise that money, and we were able to not spend any money for the past years, and had to scrape it together by extreme discipline and diligence…So be prepared! You’ll need to do it right to make your own Offer in Compromise work And of course, the IRS then took five months to respond to our agreement and finally send us a letter stating the Offer in Compromise was now officially accepted It is a long, ponderous journey to deal with them, but it is over now for my son, and he can move on with his life…
So now let’s talk about cost to Platinum Yes, that $was only to the IRS Platinum Tax Defenders is a real business and actually has real employees… An entire staff that has to be paid… They have an attorney on staff, who is incredibly competent, efficient, intelligent, think out of the box while remaining ethical, type genius Anybody know how much you have to pay to have a guy like that in your corner? Representing you all the way… Knowing what to say, how to say it, and being super tenacious about staying on top of your case?… Yup, it’s expensive But you tell me something….or just go ahead and look yourself in the mirror (because my son and I did), and ask yourself this: Do I want to get this problem solved, resolved and fixed, so I can move on with my life??? Or do I want to continue letting the IRS ruin my life, and make it the living hell that has gone on year after year…?
What is it worth to me to live a life without the IRS putting levy and liens on everything I own?
What is it worth to me to finally be able know I have a future to build again? With hopes and dreams…
We paid Platinum Tax Defenders approximately $to do all of this for my son…
You tell me if you think it’s worth it, after you pay them and they get your case accepted…
We all know you get what you pay for in life… Companies or individuals that don’t charge much for their services are pretty much always selling you services that aren’t worth much or even anything
I found that out the hard way, and wasted more than years with other companies… How much do you think that cost our family, wasting all those precious years and money, and hassle…with no results at the end??? For me….for us…? Platinum…? Total bargain… A quarter of a million (plus) IRS bill went away for just over $10, I know what Platinum’s services were worth to our family… You can decide what you want to do… Go ahead, hire the amateurs! Blow your money on scrubs, or con artists, or it after reading this… Or get a clue, and hire the professionals, and make the problem go away and fix your life…
Don’t think it’s going to go away in weeks or even months either! The IRS takes their sweet time They delay, delay, delay, and push back sometimes They treat you like you’re a slave to them and make you feel like it’s never going to end… We are so incredibly thankful and grateful that we hired Platinum Tax Defenders to save us… Without them, we were just dead in the water Lives ruined, shattered dreams…
My case? It’s ongoing I filed mine a year after my son’s case, and my son’s case took about months to be completed and accepted by the IRS Again, don’t think this is a quick fix… I expect to wait another six months or more before we hear anything from IRS, and it’s hard to hang on for so long waiting My bill is larger than my son’s, and we are happily paying Platinum to represent me and save my life… Even though it’s killing us to pay the bill, we know it’s worth it because we’ve seen them succeed… I expect results, but I know it will take time I saw it happen for my son… I know it will happen for me as well, and I’ll be patient and keep the faith until it does… Then you’ll see another review here from me about Platinum Tax Defenders
Don’t hesitate to contact me at any time regarding all I’ve said here l*** is my email, and I’ll provide my phone number should you request it in an email to me I’ll be happy to talk to you and show you proof of all I’ve said here in this review… I don’t deal in Bullsh…..t Our lives are immeasurably better by my son’s successful experience with Platinum, and my ongoing representation by Platinum with my own case…Thank you ***, and ***, and ***, and all the others who have given my son his life back… And bless you all for helping me get mine back in the near future as well…
Posted and attested to by *** ***…On March 12,

I came to Platinum with a $8K tax debt and a wage garnishment pending The were very helpful and reassuring in getting my tax debt settled The stopped my garnishment and even got my penalties removed A great experience!!

My position is the same Armando was still giving us things to write off on his taxes after the filing deadline We did a penalty abatement at no charge and were denied because he had prior failure to pay penalties that had been abated in the past Out of courtesy, I will split the cost of the penalty fee and give him half of the $1,he was charged by the IRS If that is acceptable to him, please let me know
Sincerely,

My experience with Platinum Tax Defenders, LLC was a great one After 3-1/years of trying other attorney's and trying to resolve the tax issues by myself I was finally told about Platinum It was the best decision I madeIn a few months they had resolved all my issues and were able to save me not only headaches but a good amount of money I would recommend them to anyone at any time

I was very appreciative of the way they, the VP Michael and the owner MrsSherri Gastelum handled our problems and concernsThey were very professional and communicative with usAs getting back with usAlso, completed our concerns in a timely mannerHelpful through the whole process

I reject this rejection There are many emails and documentation that T*** and K*** conveniently left out However, Revdex.com is not the forum to lay out all the hours and the emails going back and forth We started working on T***'s case in May, We received his first payment, a retainer fee, of $5,on June 17th, We did not receive another payment from him until August 31st, If I am so money hungry, why on earth would I be so patient on asking for money and continue incurring many many hours on his behalf This is just a simple maneuver by T*** and camp to avoid paying fees he owes I wish him all the luck with the IRS!
Sincerely,
S*** ***

Dear Mr***:
While we strive to provide the most effective and comprehensive tax resolution services to our clients, there are very rare occassions in which our processes do not fully satisfy our client's to our desired expectations This is one of those cases We fully understand and respect Mr***'s position and are committed to doing whatever is necessary to bring this matter to HIS desired resolution I hate that this situation was not handled to his liking I spoke with Mr*** today and believe we have come up with a resolution to this issue
Sincerely,

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: I had provided ALL of the necessary documents and information in time for filingThis issue is 100% the fault of Platinum Tax Defenders for which they should be liable.
Even if I am reimbursed, this does not resolve the matter of my tarnished record with the IRS that was caused by Platinum Tax Defenders.

I came to platinum tax defenders wanting them to resolve my tax issues! They ripped me off of almost 5K and my case not only didn't get solved, I have a government lien on everything I own!!!! I am very angry and disappointed of myself for trusting these thieves with my life since April 2016 and till this day I haven't even received a call from them to inform me with what they did with my case!!!!

Everyone was so gracious at Platinum Tax Defenders. The presentation was free and was Lori was very helpful. They were very honest and polite and treated me with respect. Platinum was helpful in working with me on the payments. I had a $27,000 tax debt and Platinum Tax Defenders got me an offer that was accepted by the IRS for $500.00. Thank God for Platinum Tax Defenders.

October 27th, 2015
To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. J[redacted] hired Platinum Tax Defenders on September 16th,
2015.  At that time, Mr. J[redacted]
already had a levy in...

place.  We prepared
all of his documents and sent him a financial organizer via email on 9/16.  We faxed over all the power of attorneys to
the various agencies on 9/16 and 9/19/15.
He called us on 9/21/15 wanting an update.  We informed him that we needed his financial
organizer and that we would be contacting the IRS the coming week after they
recognize the power of attorney.
On 9/28, we called the IRS and they informed us that he did
not have any balances or tax returns owed for him personally.  We communicated that information via email to
Mr. J[redacted] on that day and asked him to sign the Business Power of Attorney
and obtain the EIN to his company so we could check his business for
balances.   We received his signed
Business POA’s back on 9/29 and called the IRS on the business.   They
informed us of his business balances by year and indicated that he was in collections
and had a revenue officer assigned.  We received
that information and called the Revenue Officer.   We contacted the Revenue officer and left
urgent messages 7 times between 9/29 and 10/14 including the Group Manager
regarding Mr. J[redacted]’s case and the fact that the Revenue Officer was not
returning the calls.  On 10/12 we
prepared the New Mexico Business Power of Attorney and spoke to the state on
10/13.  We prepared the financials and
sent over to Mr. J[redacted] the information that was still needed for the
state.
On 10/16, Mr. J[redacted] called in and said he spoke to the
Revenue Officer about a payment plan and that he wanted a refund from us to pay
for it.  At that time, we explained that
we have done a lot of work and he was not getting a full refund.  In addition, it clearly states that there is
a minimum $750 charge that is nonrefundable in the event of a cancellation.  We have contacted Mr. J[redacted] through every
step along the process via email or phone.
The statement that Mr. J[redacted] made regarding he called numerous times
with no communication is a flat out lie and I have the phone logs and emails to
prove it.  On October 26th,
Mr. J[redacted] called in demanding his money and was told again that we needed
to do a billing analysis to see what if any refund was owed to him and we would
call him today, October 27th.
This morning, I received his complaint to the Revdex.com.  At this time, we have incurred 13 hours
dealing with his case on the state and federal side.  We have incurred more hours than he has paid
at this point.  I am happy to release him
from his contract but do not feel he is entitled to a refund.
Sincerely,
S[redacted]m

Platinum Tax Defenders

Hello my name is William Smith III and I had Platinum Tax Defenders work on my IRS debt totaling around $50k, I for one knew I could not handle this on my own and did not want to be put into a payment plan for god knows how long & how much each month. My goal and theirs was to get an offer & compromise for a low amount. After patiently waiting they brought me the best news I could have imagined about a week ago, honestly the settlement is so low that even my family & friends are in shock. Please feel free to contact me and I will be glad to speak with anyone about my experience and the outcome. [redacted]

Platinum Tax Defenders were very professional and result minded. The experience was a pleasant and painless one. Their estimates on what they could accomplish were spot on. I would use them again in a heartbeat!
