Background Information: On October 17, 2017, the prior owner at *** *** **, requested a discontinuance of serviceThe account was placed in UGI’s name, as a temporarily hold, to allow a prospective owner to apply for serviceOn October 26, 2017, *** *** established service in his name
However, a system error occurred that did not cancel the temporary hold, and the service was discontinued on December 5, It wasn’t until later that evening, at 7:P.M, that *** *** contacted UGI and this error was discoveredThe representative advised him the service would be restoredAn order was issued to restore with hoursThe service was restored on December 6, 2017, at 3:P.MUGI apologizes for any inconvenience this has causedAs a result, a $credit has been applied to his accountThis matter has been reviewed with ManagementPlease contact me if any further assistance is neededBest Regards,Rose W***

Dear [redacted]: [redacted] was placed on UGI’s budget billing plan with her bill due in December 2016. [redacted] made no payment since her budget billing started and as a result was removed from the plan in March 2017. On April 3, 2017, [redacted] contacted UGI and spoke with a...

supervisor who informed her that her she was removed from the budget billing plan of $44 month, because she failed to make monthly payments, and her full balance was now due. Her last payment was received in November 2016. [redacted] hung up on the supervisor as she was attempting to explain her options. I apologize for the delay in this response. I could not locate your first request.  Here is the background information: 
On
10/2 a gas leak came into UGI for [redacted]. First responder was sent and
also the fire department was notified. When first...

responder arrived the fire
dept and police was on scene. During the course of the investigation they found
the regulator to 2409 was malfunctioning and gas was coming out of the vent pipe.
No one was at home and the fire dept found the kitchen window was unlocked.
They opened the window and provided our serviceman access into the home. Our serviceman was able to shut off below the regulator to make safe. There was also a mercury
regulator in the basement which was removed. When the minor arrived
home they were finishing the work. The foreman talked to the minor at that
time. This was an emergency situation, and at no time was the home left unattended.
The Superintendent
of UGI's Operations attempted to contact [redacted] on Tuesday 10/27 at 4:10 pm.
& Thursday 10/29 at 8:50 am. He left messages and has not heard back from

Dear [redacted], The service at 507 5th St, Milford, is currently active in the name of “Estate of [redacted]”. A refund check in the amount of $597.03, is in the process of being issued in the name of “Estate of [redacted]”. UGI received no documentation from [redacted] to...

indicate the check should be refunded in another name. This amount is less than the original credit balance because it paid further current bills. The service remains active, and will continue to accrue future bills until a request for a discontinuance, change of customer, or a shut off for non-payment should occur. Hello [redacted], Please be advised that this matter has been addressed. UGI completed some temporary work until the sidewalk could be repaired, pending the permits and the PA one call clears. The concrete is scheduled to be installed by 6/10/16, and the top soil and seed will follow after the sidewalk sets. We anticipate that work should be completed by 6/17/16, weather permitting.  Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. I reviewed [redacted]'s rejections.  I would like to apologize to [redacted]'s if she felt she did not receive good customer service. The company takes these types of matters seriously and will address it accordingly. 
Our company records indicate that [redacted] contacted the office on May 21, 2015, regarding the terminaiton of service. The representative advised her she would have the supervisor review the contact from April 6, 2015, to confirm the payments terms provided to her. The supervisor returned [redacted] call that same day and left a message to return her call. 
The review of the contact inicated that [redacted] was informed and she agreed to the payment terms of $340 monthly beginning April 16, 2015.
[redacted] called again on June 9, 2015, and was informed by a customer care representative of the results of the investigation and that the company's position did not change.
