Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Pinterest never acknowledged that the supposed content was copied from their own site in an attempt (misguided as it turned out) to show them how hypocritical they were in their admonishments to others. We found the account associated with that email address. We've been seeing a lot of compromised accounts lately, so we're being overly cautious. We've lifted safe mode from your account, so you should be all set to start saving Pins again.

When people save content on Pinterest that violates our policies, we warn them a few times (except for the most serious violations) and deactivate their account when they hit a limit we've established. Unfortunately, you saved policy-violating content enough times that you exceeded that...

When someone creates and then deactivates their account, a tag is added to Pinterest pages to let search engines know to exclude that profile or Pins from search results. This process can sometimes take a while, so the pages may stay in search...

Here's our response:
While many copyright owners are happy to have their content on Pinterest, others may not want their work on Pinterest (or might not have been credited for the Pin). When a copyright owner sends us a complete notice per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) identifying specific Pins, we have to remove the Pin(s) in accordance with our legal obligation. As of today, you have received 2 different strikes for 2 different pins.
We cannot be sure of every copyright owner’s reasons for a Pin’s removal, so you might consider contacting the copyright holder if you need more info. We also suggest making sure that pins are correctly credited and link back to their original source.
The DMCA does provide an opportunity to submit a counter-notification, which you can do by following the instructions provided under "How to File a Counter-Notice" on our [redacted] If you send us a valid and complete counter notice, we can remove the complaint on your account.

We can quickly remove Pins that you report to us if you send a notice with the information specified by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA). A member of our Trust & Safety team  contacted [redacted] directly on 10/18 and is working on her issue.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I do not want to "login" to their site, an email notification to delete further emails should suffice.
