Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by PhoneProtections regarding complaint ID [redacted].  However, they did issue a full refund.  There has been no apology or acknowledgement that the complaint was filed....

As far as I am concerned, this further corroborates their lackadaisical attitude towards their customers.  It is a shame the complaint had to be filed.  It is a bigger shame this business has ignored the complaint and has absolutely no regards for customer satisfaction.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I purchased a phone case cover online, I never heard form them, I got an email saying it shipped, but when I tracked it with [redacted] they said they received a ore shipping notice, on sep [redacted] but nothing since. I tried contacting the company many many times - and have never received a response.Desired Settlement: Receive my item immediately or a full refund. I have a $600 phone I wanted protected that's why I bought the case, and now I have it unprotected for three weeks!!!!!

[Your Answer Here]

They said that their web site was down for month! They did not have a good reason why they never responded to our calls or emails. They said some of the items we ordered (headphones) were out of stock and they would refund us for that, and our phone case would get to us within two business days. That was nearly two weeks ago and we did not get a refund, nor did anything get shipped. As usual we left them messages but they are not responding. Definately a scam.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered a phone case on Aug. [redacted], and USPS got the electronic notice on Aug. [redacted]. However, it has not been shipped, according to the USPS; they've only received electronic notification data. I attempted to call, and got an answering machine; that's a pretty big red flag... I also emailed the company on August [redacted] and got no response.Desired Settlement: I either want the product delivered (which I don't think is an option, as I don't think the company actually sells products, just cc numbers to thieves), or I want a refund in the form of a check. Due to the company's failure to deliver product or respond to emails, I cancelled the credit card used to make the purchase. I feel it is likely that they are not legitimate and didn't feel my credit card was safe.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The response from the company is blank. I actually did finally received the case; it was shipped the day after I filed the complaint. However, the case I received is not the case I ordered. I sent an email to [redacted] a few minutes ago, but I don't hold out much hope of a response.

*When I selected “click to view” the company’s response, a blank message screen appeared. Upon clicking around the Revdex.com site, I determined that this was a Revdex.com site error, as I located the company’s response on a different screen. Therefore, my original response stating that the message was blank is not accurate. However, the rejection stands; as I mentioned, I received the wrong product.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Review: I order a product (Otterbox Defender Series Case for IPAD AIR Glacier with stand) from phone protections.com on 9/**/14 and was charged $41.99 to my credit card. As of 9/**/14 I still had not received the product. I looked up the website I had ordered it from and it was no longer available, so upon further research discovered the business was owned by a [redacted] with an address of [redacted] phone ###-###-####. I called that phone # and requested deliveries. [redacted] answered and said his computer was down and hung up. I called back and requested sales. [redacted] answered again and I told him I felt he was a scam and wanted the product I had ordered. He "researched" it and said he could not find the order. I informed him he had already taken my money and therefore, the order was placed. He said he would transfer me to the delivery dept. I told him I knew he was the delivery and sales dept and that I wanted my product. He hung up on me again. I researched him further and discovered on [redacted] that he had done this to other individuals. I contacted [redacted] which is where he has his web site and informed them via phone and an e-mail of his scam. His IP address is [redacted]. He is an unsavory and crooked man who offers products online, takes people's money and never deliver's the product. Please do something about this person so other people do not get scammed. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back and I would like this man arrested for scamming people out of their hard earned money.

Review: I ordered a phone case from [redacted] on 9/**/14. I received an email confirming the order. I did not receive the product within the time promised. I emailed the company. No response. I checked the website. The URL no longer worked. After some research, I found a phone number for the company. The person I spoke to said the case was out of stock and I could be credited (purchase had already gone to my debit) or I could wait an additional week or so. I told him I would wait because I was worried about providing acct information again. Product never arrived. No emails received and when I emailed the company they bounced back.Desired Settlement: I'm pretty sure this company is a scam. I would like a check mailed to me if possible.

Review: I placed an order with this company on Sept. * and my debit card was charged $15.94. I received a shipment tracking number on Sept. ** but USPS is still showing this shipment as "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS." I attempted to send an email to the company and received a bounce back message. I attempted to contact them through their website ([redacted]) only to find that the website no longer exists. I have reviewed four other complaints on the Revdex.com site and they all state the same problem with delivery - although they do not mention the website being shut down - and in each instance the Revdex.com response is "Consumer accepted resolution offered by the business." I feel like this company is a complete and total scam and will only send their product out when there is a complaint officially lodged. I have seen complaints about the same thing on other scam warning websites.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund of $15.94. I do not want the product anymore as I think the company is a total scam.

Response:

At this time, my complaint, ID [redacted] regarding PhoneProtections has been resolved. However, they coincidentally called me right after I filed my complaint and claimed they had not gotten a complaint from the Revdex.com which I find very coincidental. While they refunded my money, their business practices seem very suspect and completely unethical.

Sincerely,

Review: I ordered 4 phone covers and paid extra for priority 2 day shipping. That was august **. I still do not have the products. I have a tracking number for the USPS that confirms it has not. Ive been told 4 times on 4 different occasions that it has shipped. They can't and won't explain why it hasn't shipped. Everytime I call I get...very sorry sir for the inconvenience, it will ship this date or that date or it has shipped. Then I'm told it will be 4 or 5 business days before I receive it. That's an issue also because I paid extra for priority 2 day shipping.Desired Settlement: I want a phone call with an acceptable explanation and delivery of my product. I also want a refund of my extra money paid for priority shipping.

Consumer

Response:

I have not received a response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], however I did receive my products on Saturday, September **. After being promised all week that the product shipped Monday and that if I did not receive it Friday I would get a refund, it shipped Friday. I called the business on Friday to ask why I had been lied to AGAIN, the gentlemen then told me it wasn't him I'd been talking to all week. Another lie. I have my products, but very bad business practices by this company. The truth up front would have been nice. If they didn't have them in stock, tell me that. Don't tell me 4 weeks in a row that they've shipped when I have tracking numbers and know they didn't.

Sincerely,

Review: On August **, 2014, I ordered a Otter Box Defender case for a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The price for the item including shipping was $21.98. On August **, I received an email that my order had been received which included an order number where you could check the status of your order. I checked the status and found that the order was listed as shipped. A tracking number was provided and could be followed on the USPS website. By checking the tracking number, I found PhoneProtection.com had reported to them that they had an item for shipment but the item was never submitted.

I emailed [redacted] through their website on August ** and never received a response. I called them on August ** and could only reach their voice mail. I left a message stating my complaint but never received a return call. I called again on August ** and each time I attempted to contact their automated call direction concerning a shipment, the call went to voice mail. I called again and rather than selecting their shipment, I directed the call to the order department. I spoke to a man who told me their company had gone through an "upgrade" and I should receive the item by the middle of the following week.

On September *, I had not received the item and there was no status change on the shipment using the USPS tracking number. The amount of the purchase at this time had been deducted from my debit card account in the amount of $21.98. I called the company again using the "order" automated call direction and again spoke to a man who told me the item had not been shipped. I asked that he either send me the item or credit the amount back to my account. He said "Okay" several times.

I still have not received the item and the money has not been credited to my account.

I have also found multiple reports of similar complaints on [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like to have the order delivered or have my credit card credited.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The time period has passed for PhoneProtestions.com to ship the item. The item has not been received nor has the item been sent to the USPS for delivery. My account has not been credited the amount for the item. Additionally, any attempts to access PhoneProtections.com websites says the pages are unavailable.

Review: On August **, 2014, I placed an order for a OtterBox Commuter Series Case For iPhone 5C Wild Orchid. The order was placed, credit card was charged and item was marked as shipped on their website. The item was $16.99 + $3.99 shipping for a total of $20.98. According to the website a tracking number is to be provided for any order over $10. To this date, I have not received a tracking number nor have I received the item. Their website indicates that the item was shipped. I attempted to call the number they have listed but kept getting a voice mail. I have sent two messages on their website and have not received a reply. I replied to an email and have not received a reply. I left two voice mail message and no returned call. On September *, 2014, I finally was able to reach someone who indicated that the item has not been shipped and it will be shipped sometime next week and he could not provide a tracking number.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is still unsatisfactory to me but the matter has been resolved, as I received the item yesterday (nearly 30 days after it was allegedly shipped).

Review: Their online statement reads that one can return products. When I called on two different occasions, they told me I would receive a return packing slip within 24 hours. I didn't. When I called today, they hung up on me five times after taking my order number.Desired Settlement: Refund my item upon receiving it.

Sincerely,

Review: On August **, 2014 I placed an order for three OTTER BOX iPhone 4S protective cases. On AUG **, I received an email stating the items had been shipped via US Postal Service Priority Mail and provided with USPS tracking number. On AUG ** I checked the status of my package with USPS using the tracking number they provided. The USPS web site states (and still states today) that all they have received is "Pre-Shipment Info," in other words they have not received a package for shipment to me as of yet. On AUG ** I sent PhoneProtections an email through their website requesting a status update on my order and got the following from the company: Thank you for contacting PhoneProtections.com support. As per your query, your order has already shipped but USPS is getting slower in updating the tracking number. Your delivery is expected within 4 working days. For more queries and concerns feel free to contact us. Thank you for your business. Sincerely Support - PhoneProtections.comDesired Settlement: I would like to determine if: (A) this is a legitimate business, (B) what is the delay in my order and (C) USPS can be slow at times, but if my order really shipped via Priority Mail why don't I have it yet? If they shipped via none USPS Priority Mail, then just tell me the truth. I do a lot of on-line ordering and the majority of businesses are straight forward and reasonably accurate with their shipping information. When something like this happens I get suspicious of a scam.

Response:

Reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Vendor has opted to refund my full purchase price WITHOUT any explanation as to what happened with my order, it status, or if it was ever shipped. This occurred only after I involved my credit card company as they never responded me. Therefore, having been refunded to my credit card the full amount charged, I consider this matter resolved as far as I am concern.

Sincerely,

Review: On August **, 2014, I placed an order for 1 [redacted] Commuter Series for Samsung Galaxy 5S and 1 [redacted] Commuter Series iPhone 5s at Phone Protections. I received the typical replies stating the order has been received. On September *, 2014 , I received an email stating Order Status Changed and the order had now shipped. It also provided a shipping tracking number and link to follow. I waited a couple of days and the shipping status never change from what I reviewed on 9/*/14, that "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to [redacted]". I called the customer contact number and was unable to reach anyone when I pressed the number for order status. I did leave a voice message requesting what the status of my order was. I did this a couple of times and finally after a mild threat, someone phoned me back on or about September [redacted]. I told him I had called numerous times, at which he said they were having problems with their phone service. I told him I tried repeatedly sending them emails at which he stated they were having internet problems. He said the two [redacted] cases were out of stock in black and offered me two blue cases. I told him absolutely not. If I wanted blue cases I would have ordered blue cases. He said he had black cases coming in by the end of the week and he promised to have them sent out. He said his website would be back up by them and he would update the status. On September [redacted] this same gentlemen phoned me and stated the [redacted] cases were backordered again. I told him if he didnt have my order shipped by October [redacted] to put the money back on my credit card, which he took on Day 1. He said he would. October [redacted] came and went. I got busy and didnt have time to notify my credit cards fraud division until October [redacted]. They provided a link to look at the companies Revdex.com rating and to let you know of my situation. I hope you can help.Desired Settlement: Put my money back on my credit card or send me a check.

Sincerely,

Review: August **, 2014 -I placed an order for 2 Otter Box Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy 5 at [redacted]. I realized that this order was placed on a holiday and therefore did expect some delay in processing. However, the website states "We ship products within 24-48 hours if the item is in stock, otherwise we will contact you and let you know the status of the order".

September *, 2014 - My order status remained "awaiting fulfillment". I had not been contacted about any delay. I called the customer contact number and was unable to reach anyone when I pressed the number for order status. I did leave a voice message requesting what the status of my order was. I also stated that if the items are not available then I want to cancel my order.

September *, 2014- I received an e-mail from Phone Protections stating my order has shipped with a tracking number. The tracking number states "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS" indicating that the package has not actually been received by USPS for shipment.

September **, 2014- I checked the USPS tracking number for my order, the status remains "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS". I called Phone Protections, pressed the number for help with current orders and once again could not reach anyone, once again I left a message and asked to be contacted immediately. I also e-mailed Phone Protections requesting to be contacted. Finally, I called Phone Protections again and this time pressed the number for new orders and was greeted by a person. I asked about my order and was told it was shipped. I explained I had checked the USPS site and that the site states the package has not yet shipped. I was told the package was shipped today and if I checked the USPS site tomorrow it would indicate that the package was shipped. There was no explanation for the delay, for why my credit card had been charged 9/*/14 when the items had not yet shipped, nor for the lack of communication. I informed person to whom I was speaking that I would be following up with the Revdex.com and my credit card company if the USPS did not state the package had shipped.

September **, 2014- 8:07 am-The status on my package on the USPS site remains "Pre-shipment Info Sent to USPS", I have e-mailed Phone Protections requesting a refund and I will be contacting my credit card company.Desired Settlement: 1-I would like this company investigated

2=I would like an immediate full refund to my credit card if the order has not shipped by 9/**/14

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a cell phone case through the online webpage on or about ** AUG. The order was quickly completed and my debit card was charged the amount of the product plus applicable tax and shipping and handling. I received a tracking number for the parcel. After two days, the tracking number still indicated that only the pre-shipment information had been received but the package had not been dropped off at the carrier facility. I spoke with the post office who stated they had not recieved the package. On or about the third day I contacted the customer service via the customer support portal on their webpage. They responded stating that the post office was slow to update the information. Again I spoke with the post office, no package received. Phone protections assured me that NLT Thursday of that week, 4 business days later, I should receive the package with the case in it. On friday of that week I again submitted a complaint, to which they did not respond. I submitted two more customer service requests by the 12th business day and left three messages with their phone answering service. The actual customer service representative never answered the phone. Still I received no call back.Desired Settlement: I expect the company to finish the job. A consumer buys products, it's the company's responsibility to ensure that the product gets sent to the consumer upon receipt of funding. By their rules, they are not responsible for the package after it is dropped off at the carrier (USPS). Since they are unable to provide proof they sent the package (which I asked for) , I expect at the very least some feedback from them on what they are doing on their end to ensure the product was sent. A tracking number doesn't indicate the package was sent, only that it was planned.

I got tired of waiting on them, so I cancelled the charge. Their idea of customer service is an aberration. I don't expect anything from this company now since I did cancel the charge. If they want to fix the issue, an apology, with a chance to re-order the product at the same price and free expedited shipping, would be a method of regaining my faith in their ability to do business. I honestly believe their lack of responsiveness dictates that they will do nothing to fix the situation.
