"">We are in receipt of the complaint sent to your office *** *** on February 2014, We would like to apologize to *** for any inconvenience he may have experienced at our facilityBelow is the response to ***'s concerns from the senior management team at the said location.*** *** came in to our store on December 22, 2013, complaining of a coolant leak*** *** the CSA took down the information for ***The vehicle was brought in and diagnosed by *** ***The mechanic found a leak on the thermostat housing gasket*** was advised on the results along with other Maintenance related item’s*** approved the workAfter work was completed the mechanic checked the area he replaced and no more leak was present
We also advised *** that engine oil is also leaking and ***'s response to that was that all *** engines do that*** came back on January 1, 2014, stating that his vehicle was still leaking coolant, I then brought in the vehicle to check our work and resolve the issueA pressure test was done on the vehicle, but no other coolant leaks were found
*** then took the vehicle a couple of days later on January 6, 2014, *** brought the vehicle backAgain we brought the vehicle in and re checked itDid another pressure test, and the only thing that was found was very slow seeping coming from the water pump*** was made aware of thisHe then advised us that he wanted a refund on everything the amount of $
We did not feel a refund was warranted, however as customer satisfaction, we offered to refund the labor to replace the thermostat gasketAll the other work on the vehicle was done as maintenance recommendation’s, which *** approvedNo further refunds will be offered

This was the biggest joke of all for car repair, as well as handling my complaint to management I went in for an oil change and to check my anti-lock light coming on Ended up with a broken stem on my wheel & an estimate for complete brake job & tires, $1,000+ I got a second opinion & it was my abs harness My brakes & tires were in great shape!

I am rejecting this response because: Pep Boys replaced wiring in my truck without my permision, and told me they couldn't figure out what was wrongI never asked for rewiringIt is clear they had already began diagnosing my truck and couldn't figure out what was wrongI was never offered a "diagnosis." I was told that if they kept investigating the matter they would charge me even moreI was told by a mechanic that they were looking at it for hoursIt doesnt take hours to replace a starterI'm disgusted in the customer service and believe the Pep Boy's shop that worked on my truck are being dishonest.

This is the worst most dishonest bisness I have ever dealt with they lie and do not send the products you order and when you call there customer help line they do not care and say that you are lying about what you received and try and blam the shipping company for the missing parts but the package did not weigh enough if the parts were in it so they lied after contacting the Revdex.com They continue to lie to them and me I will never do business with this business again

The statement is not true my power steering was not broken at the time my belt broke I was at at least feet from pep boys when the belt brokeI have attached the receipt from the dealer stating what the found when my car was fixed by themIts not sure thing the power steering pump will be destroyed in that time mannerPep boys was at fault

I am rejecting this response because: The repairs needed were completed at the service centerI paid $~ to repair all damages mentionedThe job completed was told to me by the service manager and the cashier at pick up that all services to repair mentioned damages were now completedHow I can not have completed these repairs is puzzling as I was told by two working associates that all work was completed to fix the issues that were presentAfter the services were completed my car broke down with the check engine light and oil indicator light both visible at break downThe car has not be been back in since, as this case has been pendingThe services preformed again were to fix the vehicle after the first break down (post oil change)Upon pickup vehicle was driven for days before breaking down on day of having it backFeel free to keep in touch via my cellphone ###-###-####Call me 24/as this issue at this point is absurd

I just want make sure that you have been presented with the
correct facts. In your Revdex.com reply, you
stated that I received a free inspection at the Miami, Florida locationThis is NOT the case. I paid for the inspection and did NOT receive a free inspection on
this vehicle at the Miami, Florida locationAs I stated in my previous
correspondence with Revdex.com, I have the documentation showing this and will provide
it to you upon your request. I noticed
some tire wear which alerted me that I needed an alignment and took my vehicle
to a local garage. I was told that not
only did I need an alignment, but that I have about $in repairs. Pep Boys in Miami, FL, did not tell me there
was anything that needed to be repaired on my vehicle. As a matter of fact, I was told the vehicle
was in great shape, and the person said he would purchase it himself! I called the Pep Boys customer service number
and filed my first complaint. At that
time I was told by Pep Boys Customer Service to take it to the local Pep Boys near
my home. Then my local Pep Boys did my first free inspection of the vehicle, including the Front End, and discovered about
$in repairs that need to be done
