I have reviewed and investigated the complaint Penn Credit was calling a wrong phone numberOn June 26, we received a call from [redacted] notifying us we were calling a wrong phone number and the number was immediatley blocked from receiving any additional calls Penn Credit only made approximately calls duirng the month before we were notified of the wrong numberPenn Credit also offers a wrong number OPT OUT that could be used by the conusmer and cease calls immediatley by following the wrong number instructions [redacted] will not receive any additional calls from Penn CreditIf she should please have her contact Thomas P [redacted] , Vice President direclty toll free ###-###-#### or email him at [redacted] @penncredit.com Thank you for your assistance in the resolution of this matter

Penn Credit reviewed and investigated the complaint In the process of the investigation the original creditor was contacted and stated that four (4) statements were sent to the consumer concerning the bill and none were returnedThe statement dates were 8/22/2013, 9/23/2013, 10/23/and 11/22/ As a credit reporting agency Penn Credit must report actual information and pursuant the FCRA we can’t delete negative reporting with a promise of payment for removal If [redacted] can provide additonal information outlining a legitimate dispute I would be able to remove the tradeline If [redacted] has any additional questions or concerns please have him contact Thomas P [redacted] directly at [redacted] or email him at [redacted]
Penn Credit did review and investigate the complaint Penn Credit closed and returned the account to the original creditor on August 24, and electronically sent a deletion record to the credit bureaus August 27, Since the deletion did not update, I manually sent a deletion record through E-Oscar Please have [redacted] check her credit in approximatley days and to contact Thomas P [redacted] if the deletion hasn’t updated directly toll free ###-###-#### or email him at ***[redacted] @penncreditcom

December 13, Revdex.com of Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania North Front Street Harrisburg, PA RE: [redacted] Case: [redacted] Please be advised that Penn Credit takes pride in following all Federal and State collection laws [redacted] ***’s Physicians placed nine accounts in our office for collections for a total amount of $ We sent the required validation notice on April 13, We sent additional letters on August 17, and October 5, On October 14, [redacted] contacted our office to inform us she felt the balances were not due because she was approved for a charity program, she agreed to mail in the information so we could follow up with our client She called later the same day and informed us she contact the client who the client placed the account in error and they would be contacting us to close out the accounts The agent she spoke to sent a request to our client service department to verify with the client if the accounts should be closed out of our office The agent placed the accounts in question on hold until we were able to determine if we should be collecting on the accounts Our Client service department contacted our client the same day and verified they accounts were placed in our office in error and we should close all nine accounts Thank you for your assistance in the resolution of this matter Sincerely, Timothy F [redacted] Collections Manager
Penn Credit has reviewed and investigated the complaint [redacted] must understand that Penn Credit is a licensed third party collection agencyPenn Credit is not a creditor nor a debt purchaser but an assigned contigent collections agencyAdditionally, Original creditors do have the right to obtain vendors as part of their collection process and have those vendors report to the credito bureau puraunt the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) [redacted] did also file a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Complaint (CFPB) in which Penn Credit answer is pending receipt of validation of the debt since [redacted] stated in her complaint that she did not owe As part of both the FCRA and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Penn Credit has ceased communication with [redacted] and updated the Credit Bureau to a disputed status until the original creditor has provided validation of the debt If the creditor placed the account in error Penn Credit is responsible and will delete the Penn Credit Trade line from the credit bureaus If [redacted] would like to discuss with me directly I can be reached toll free at ###-###-#### or email me at [redacted] @penncredit.com Thank yo for your assistance in the resolution of this matter
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it is inaccurate with regards to the nature of the fine I did not at any time go through an [redacted] only lane, thereby incurring a charge for failure to pay I am stating again, that I did pay the toll to an agent at the toll booth, who became angered after my passenger offered to pay after the toll booth operator explained the process of mailing in the toll fee As the agent collected the fee, we were allowed to pass through It was later that I received a toll violation from Delaware Dept of Transportation, to which I responded using the inadvertent certification form, as well with numerous telephone calls trying to resolve the matter I was never informed the issue would be turned over to collections In the last contact with Delaware Dept of Transportation, they made it clear they were not able to accept any offers for settling the debt, as it had gone to collections They then referred me back to Penn Credit, whom I called My last communication with Penn Credit was a letter of dispute, sent via certified mail Regards, [redacted]

First this company called regarding a state tax bill I didn't oweThey tried to get me to give my social security number so they could "clear it up." When I wouldn't give it to them, the man was rude and told me, " you obviously don't want to resolve this, do you?" I hung up on himNow they keep calling even though I have told them not to multiple timesThe nasty woman I have spoken to TWICE told me not to get aggressive with me that it takes hours to get my number on the no call listThis was after I had the same conversation with her last weekThese people are lying vultures trying to cheat people out of moneyI don't understand how they stay in business

July 3, Roman"> Revdex.com of Washington DC and Eastern Pennsylvania North Front Street Harrisburg, PA RE: [redacted] Case: [redacted] Penn Credit takes pride in following all Federal and State Collection calls Below are the results of the investigation into *** [redacted] ’s complaint The consumer sent a letter requesting validation of the debt on 2/28/ Validaiton was requested, recevied and forwarded to the consumer on 3/18/ Consumer did not contact Penn Credit again until 6/17/2014, requesting the same validation of the debt Consumer then faxed a letter to Penn Credit offering to settle the $debt for $with the condition of deleting it from the credit bureau Penn Credit does not have authorization to settle the debt for $but is willing to settle for $362.00; however, Penn Credit will only update the credit bureau to reflect the account as settled in full, oursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act The consumer is not disputing the bill, she is attempting to get the credit line deleted from the credit bueaus Penn Credit will not violate FCRA reporting Regulations Since Penn Credit already provided validation of the debt and ** [redacted] acknowledged her debt by offerng a settlement for deletion does not provide documentation that the account is disputed, or valid reasons to remove the tradelineIf the consumer is able to provide that information Penn Credit will update the credit bureau to the proper reporting including deletion if applicable Thank you for your assistance in the resolution of this matter Sincerely, [redacted] Collections Manager
