On May 21st at 2036 hours I, ***, received a phone call from Darren S regarding a property in Union, Oregon. The property address is ***. My wife, ***, received an email a week prior regarding the same property. My wife responded to Mr. S's email May 23rd, 2020 notifying him that the Property was sold January 23rd. 2020 according to the Union County Property Assessor's Office, public record. Since replying to Mr. S's email my wifes daughter, ***, received a phone call from Mr. S regarding the same property. I do not know how many people have received communication from Mr. S, but would like ALL communication from him to cease. He has been notified my both my wife and me through email. We feel harrassed at this point.
this is not a customer of ours- and has not been- Mr. S has simply reached out to the family in regards to a lead sheet that some one in the family must have filled out- we do not have contact information for random people.
the consumer is mistaken and to reiterate again - this is not a customer of ours. Pdx Renovations has not done any business with Mr. Family. They have never been a client, nor are they a current one-

I am rejecting this response because I WAS, AS WERE several other family members. We didn't just select a business AND employee of said business's name out of a hat to file a complaint. How many other innocent citizens are being harassed by Mr. S? No apology given in the response. Disappointed.

PDX was great to work with. I had a property that I needed help on. They were very knowledgeable, nice to work with and treated me fairly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Mr. T and PDX are EXCEPTIONAL to work with. I contacted them about buying one of my properties. I thought for sure I would get a low ball offer, or they'd try to pressure me into something. That did not happen. I was impressed by their knowledge and felt they really wanted the best for me and my situation. I even got more money than I expected! I think that PDX Renovations is great! They were so easy to work with. Wayne was especially awesome. He explained the process very well and was easy to reach when we had questions.
I had some medical issues and my house suffered greatly. There were issues inside and out.
I felt that I couldn't even sell it in the standard way. That day a postcard in my mail from PDX Renovations stating that they wanted to buy my home AS IS - CASH ONLY. It was a win, win situation!

I am very thankful for PDX Renovations. From the moment I contacted them they were nothing but polite and courteous. Joey M came out to look at my property and took the time to really talk and was so incredibly understanding of my situation. Their offer was great considering I didn't have to go through the stress of finding a realtor, listing fees, and the not knowing just how long it would take to find a buyer. Joey walked me through every step of the process and whenever I had a question or my anxiety made an appearance he made himself available basically anytime of the day. He genuinely cares about the clients. I would definitely recommend this company.

So happy we picked PDX Renovations to sell our home. We were two weeks away from having our house auctioned by the lender when Wayne stepped in and got the foreclosure stopped. He made us a fair offer which allowed us to keep a sizable portion of our equity. Every promise Wayne made he came through on and always answered his phone when I had any questions or concerns during the entire process. Super nice friendly guy who's easy to deal with. Scary time for us and PDX Renovations made it comfortable and eased our minds!

From start to finish Joey was professional by communicating each step thoroughly.He knows his business and was able to offer a price that would benefit us both. A few inspections were required before the sale could close. The companies hired were respectful of my time and home. It was an emotional time to sell but Joey and his company PDX Renovations made it easier. Never once did I pressured. Would highly recommend.

My experience with PDX Renovations was nothing short of wonderful. Everything went smoothly and they were very accommodating. Joey took care of all of the details, including getting movers set up for me, and even helped me haul things to my new apartment when they got left behind in the house. He was an absolute joy to work with.

This company really knows what they are doing. I initially called to ask questions on what I might get for the sale of my house and spoke to Janelle. She was so friendly and I couldn’t believe that she was able to set me up with an appointment (with a real person, no just an automated response) to come meet with me the very next day! Joey was very helpful, spent a ton of time answering my questions and educating me on which steps to take from beginning to end. It’s hard to know who to trust when selling your home and I’ve been burned before. There was zero pressure and I cannot speak highly enough to the integrity and follow through that the PDX renovations team consistently showed to us. I will recommend them to every person I know that want or need to sell their home. Thank you Joe, Joey, Janelle and Wayne for what you did for my family and I.

I first learned about PDX Renovations a year ago. Since that time I have had the opportunity to meet and work with Joe and some of his staff on several occasions. They are incredible! Was a pleasure dealing with Wayne, Joe and the rest of the crew at PDX Renovations when selling my house to them. All transactions were smooth and easy. They were curious and more then accommodating when I needed time to get my belongings out of the house. Highly recommend this business to anyone needing to sell their less than perfect house.

I’ve received six mailings from PDX Renovations. Each time I have asked that they remove my address from their mailing list.
The first two times, I went to their website and clicked on “Contact Us” and made the request.
The third time, I called the office number on the website. One of the recorded choices was “choose this number if you’d like to be removed from our mailing list.” I thought, “oh good, there are more people not wanting their mailing. They must be taking this seriously.”
The fourth time I called the office and left a message with someone who answered the phone.
The fifth time I called the number on the postcard and spoke with “Wayne.” He assured me he’d remove my address.
The sixth time I called Wayne again. I was not nice this time. He said he’d remove my address.
I have no plans of selling my property. I do not like the way real estate companies are operating these days and don’t want to receive mail from them unless I request it. I definitely would not give someone my business if they have no respect for a simple request.
First off, this complaint is not from a client of ours. We have never done business with A ***.
Secondly, any consumer simply can go to our website and fill out a “contact us” form with any request they deem necessary. However, after looking back on these web form submissions over the last 24 months there is nothing that has ever been submitted from a ***.
Our Company sends out around 3,000,000 postcards, letters, and flyers annually all of which are compliant with the USPS. However, we do this through 3rd party mail house services and make it easily available for consumers to opt out of these. (in hope to save us money by not paying for continuing postage and mailings)
We have made it very easy for any consumer to remove themselves from our direct mail advertising. We have a proprietary data base that tracks all incoming calls and outbound mail pieces and are the only organization in our industry that can track and remove people who request to be taken off our lists.
Our postcards have a website link that a consumer can go to and opt out of any mailings. Furthermore, if Pamela would have called in and spoke to our real staff (either of the 2 gals that would have answered the incoming phone call)- “our phone gals would have manually added her to the opt out feature themselves.
We Believe that Pamela may be simply be confused and frustrated with the advertising she receives from others in our industry who are also competing against and is attempting to take her frustrations and confusion out on us. We Are the only Local Portland Metro area based company who has maintained an A+ rating since 2010. It is out practice to allow people to opt out at will simply to save ourselves marketing dollars.
On a side note – if someone does not want to receive a mailer can they not just simply throw it in the garbage? We are wondering if Bed Bath and Beyond, or all those pizza companies are getting the same complaints from ***?

I am rejecting this response because:
1. I have filled out the "Contact Us" form twice, as I said in my initial complaint. If they don't have a record of it, there is something wrong with their system.
2. They do not make it easy to stop getting the mailings. That is a false statement. In addition to the "Contact Us" form, I also called the office twice, with two additional calls to Wayne.
3. Nowhere in this response does it say they will stop mailing me. They need to stop mailing me.

As stated in the previous reply- our systems are set up to remove consumers when asked. We make our "best effort" to save ourselves postage costs as well as unwanted mailings to consumers.
Since we rely on 3rd party services for our marketing we have absolutely no way to "guarantee" that a specific consumer will never receive another mail piece of ours.
We try our best to remove all those who request to be removed. If the consumer does not want to get the mail piece perhaps they should learn to simply throw it away rather than trying to involve local jurisdictions and waste everyone’s time. There is currently no laws that prohibit mailing.

I am rejecting this response because:
I don't receive mail from pizza companies, Bed Bath & Beyond, and others in your industry because I've contacted them and asked them to remove my address and they have. This particular mailing is my only unwanted mail.
What I expected was a simple, businesslike response such as, "We're sorry for the inconvenience. We will remove your address from our mailing list. This may take up to (some certain number of days). Thank you for your patience."
I see that this isn't going to happen.

I closed escrow on my house today with PDX Renovations LLC as the buyers. All correspondance with this company has been courteous and friendly. I met the owner Joe T for the first time at the Title Co, I appreciated him being there today. Easy company to work with in selling my property. Would recommend them to friends and family.
Wayne, help me though all this issues with my house. I was happy with the outcome. There were a lot of hurdles, I had to go through. Wayne and Jeff were there to help me get through it. Was a pleasure dealing with pdxrenovation.

I can't say enough wonderful things about PDX renovations. Unlike other "we buy houses", "cash 4 your home" type entities, PDX renovations care about the people selling their home. Not only did they offer me a very good price for my home, they're giving me more time to move out so I can buy the house that I really love. Thank you Wayne and everyone at PDX renovations
