Jon Riviera and his emergency response team (Blake and Mike) were phenomenal at our mixed use building in Milwaukee. We had water damage from a failed roof, and the crew came out ASAP to mitigate the damage and dry everything out. The residential units and the office spaces all had damage, the crew worked quickly and alongside the businesses to clean up quickly and with little to no debris left behind. I'd highly recommend Paul Davis for any property damage restoration.

We had some unexcepted issues water issues with our house and Jon R who works with Paul Davis did a wonderful job mitigating our house. He was always honest, and ready to answer any questions I had. They did a fantastic job isolating the areas of water damage and kept the house clean. All the workers were professional and on time. I would highly recommend them, they really help take the stress off a very stressful time.

We had a recent house fire that put my family out of our home for 6 months. Bryan with contents at Paul Davis came in and explained in detail about how he and his team would take care of our belongings and try to restore anything they could. Bryan was there through the whole process, answering my repeated questions and helped us get through a difficult time. He checked in frequently to see how we were doing and stayed with us until we were finally able to move back in. I hope no one ever has to experience what a complete nightmare it is to go through a fire, but to have Bryan there made it a little easier to handle and process. Thank you!

We experienced a flooding event this summer in our basement for the first time since we built our house three decades ago. Our lower level was a finished basement complete with kitchen, bathroom, high value items, two family rooms with carpeting, tile, furniture, and a tremendous amount of additional content. We didn’t know where to begin. Our insurance company referred us to a number of providers and We chose Paul Davis and boy are we glad we did.
While they were prompt in mitigation, we would like this review to focus on the highlight- yes, even in disasters there can be highlights- in our disaster experience. We were contacted by Brian Hoppe of the “Contents Division” to begin the process of evaluating the damage to the contents, what could be saved, where to take it, and how to manage the removal of both the unsalvageable and salvageable contents. Suffice it to say, we were daunted by the task ahead of us. Thankfully, we were blessed with Brian Hoppe’s presence, his concern, his demeanor, his thoughtful communication, and those of his equally excellent crew members. Brian made himself available on an ongoing basis, expediting on specific requests, and managing the process from the beginning. It was the most refreshing customer service experience we have had in memory.

My wife and I experienced a fire that left us, our 3 kids and our dog displaced from our home for 10 months. In this review I'd like to specifically share our experience working with Brian H at Paul Davis on the contents portion of our loss. Brian was onsite immediately, introducing himself, expressing his sympathies for what we had just experienced and explaining to us the process we would be going through - while ensuring us that he would be there every step of the way....And he was. Throughout the process Brian would check in to see if we needed anything and to simply ask how we were doing. Anytime I contacted him with a request for some of our contents he would respond immediately and have our belongings available to us right away. Sometimes that meant my wife and I going to the Paul Davis campus where we were pleasantly greeted by Brian and shown the way to our belongings. Other times that meant Brian taking time out of his busy day to drive them over to us. When it was time to move our belongings back into our home, Brian made sure to work around our difficult schedule on short notice. A fire can be a challenging event for any family, but I can say that Brian Hoope's caring, thoughtful and hardworking approach made this process better than we could have hoped for.

Bryan H and his Team did an excellent job of packing up and storing all our contents as a result of a fire caused by a lightning strike at our condo. At a time when we were concerned about next steps following the fire, Paul Davis Milwaukee handled everything. Bryan was there quickly and explained what was going to happen with all of our possessions. He surely eased our anxieties. They packed and moved everything. They went out of their way to clean selected clothes and send them to an alternative location within one week as well as sending us another batch of winter clothing that was needed a few months later. It was certainly comforting not to have to deal with any of these headaches. We received an inventory of our belongings (non-clothing) with box location so when we needed something we just asked Bryan for that particular box. Upon restoration of our condo nine months later, Bryan and his Team returned our contents with very minimal damage. Contents such as dishes and glasses were securely packed (i.e., tons of paper and bubble wrap used!) to avoid damage. We appreciate Paul Davis treating all our contents as if it were their own. Great response and service after small area of basement flooded. Emergency response team member Moshe R came within an hour or so of my call, and work crew of Manuel, Edgar and Refugio were hard at work early the next morning tearing out carpet and tile, cleaning/disinfecting, and setting up dehumidifiers/blowers. Moshe and mitigation estimator Rick E were there the next day to assess drying conditions and remove all the equipment. Everything was handled very professionally and efficiently, and everyone was very accommodating to our schedule. I have had the unfortunate experience a few different times in my life where a water leak in a home I owned threatened to wreck havoc in my life. THANK GOD that Paul Davis was there....Each time that it happened the crews from Paul Davis were there asap and they did such a great job they saved my home and floors etc. From the first call to the awesome
receptionist to the finished job they were 150% amazing. Their work ethic is second to none and their professionalism was exemplary. I had James S as the manager on my last job...(He's seriously one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of working with). All of their employees work like honey bees going into the same hive...seamless...I will NEVER call anyone else in the Milwaukee area...WHY should I...I know that I have peace of mind and amazing quality work with Paul Davis... In August of 2017, my family experienced a loss due to a grease fire. During this process our home had to be 100% packed out. My husband and I along with our children were not prepared for what lied ahead. We braced ourselves...What seemed like a nightmare was eased with an agenda, trajectory, great communication and empathy by way of Bryan H. His team (very awesome btw) not only respected his authority by handling us with the highest regard, but we felt a true interactive concern. From dry cleaning our immediate essentials with hotel drop off, to a tour of the facility with our children where our belongings were being stored, the contents team gets an A+++ from the M family.

I used Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling after a small fire at my home. The initial team that responded for securing my home were prompt and efficient and had my home secure the same morning of my fire.
I next scheduled cleaning of my home through Bryan H of Paul Davis. The clean up was scheduled quickly. The clean up crew of Achmil, Ana, Lupe, and Rosita were prompt, courteous, thorough and did an excellent job! All the steps were thoroughly explained and my questions answered before and during the cleanup process. I was treated with professionalism and compassion throughout the entire process.

We had a fire late December. Took over 3 months to get done. I had asked painters that where on the job if they could paint my kitchen and family room because they where supposed to do it. They said yes and it came to $600. I paid them for the paint job which was separate job. Made check out to the painters (NOT paul davis). Talked to *** about why they should have paid for the painting because of fire. He said he would reimburse me the $600 when job was done. Well, I had called them to say we should finish. Had check from insurance company and I the agreement with Mike was that once the job was completed and they got there money he would give me a check for the $600. Well, instead he called my husband and told him he would give him the $600 credit on the bill instead of giving me the check. I called and talked him about it and he said he was wrong and would have his girl drop the check off for me made out to me. But his girl called and because of his calling my husband wanting the credit I never got my check and Mike said we got the credit and he would not give me the check that was promised. Very shady. Not to be trusted. He should be giving me that check from his pocket. He told me at no point did he lie to me. He said his husband refused to pay the $600. Well, that wasn't what it was agreed upon. He said this was an issue between my husband and myself. Him and I discussed this before that this money was supposed to come to me for the painting. He agreed. But he turned around and changed his story.

Davis was hired to do repairs in my upstairs bathroom addressing water damage. After the remediation and drying project they damaged my tile shower stall. Tile is damaged. They have acknowledged they have pictures from before they started the project where the tile is undamaged. I sent the. Pictures of the damage upon my return from out of state travel. There is no question they caused the damage. My wife and I believe it occurred when they sent two petite young women to remove the industrial size dehumidifier from the bathroom after they missed their third scheduled appointment. In addition the work they did on my walls was of very low quality. I was promised smooth patches and that is not what was done. They also billed for multiple coats of paint but only did one coat of paint. They have admitted they should remove a coat of paint from the bill in face to face conversation

The crew from Paul Davis Restoration, James, Brandon and Chris, were at our home within 45 minutes of our phone call to the insurance company to cleanup the flood in our basement when the sump bump broke. The flood happened on a Sunday morning while we were at church. An hour and a half after arrival they were done. They reviewed the plan with me and said they will be back each day the next three days to monitor the drying process. They are phenomenal in their work effort, speed, customer service and attitude. They also provided a spray to kill any mold that might form. Excellent, professional service and fast. Thanks so much to a great crew.

I had to deal with a lot of contractors when a tree fell on my house. Paul Davis is one of the few companies that follows up with their customer and who (MB) actually answers the phone when you call. They got the work done when they said they would and even came out to check to make sure it was done properly. I would call them again.

In February of 2017 I remodeled my kitchen. The last step was to hire a plumber to attach the kitchen faucet. Unfortunately, the plumber attached the faucet to the wrong pipe. This error not only caused water damage under my sink, but it soaked the carpet and all of the items that were on the floor in half of the rec. room and half of the work room. My house is filled with original pristine mid-century modern items which have significant value but not when they have been sitting in water. The first company my insurance company called in to dry out the basement did a poor job. I was upset. Then, realizing my frustration, my insurance company called in Paul Davis. What a difference. Bryan, from Paul Davis, listened to my concerns. He was understanding and took the extra time to remedy the situation. I am finishing a book and have many files and books in the basement that support my book. Bryan understood that my research materials had to leave the house before they became musty. Otherwise, with my allergies, I would have had to throw out two years work because of the dampness of the papers. In fact, Paul Davis boxed up all of the things in the basement and put them in a climate controlled area until the basement was dried out and repainted, etc. Of all the people I had to deal with during this distressing period of time, Bryan at Paul Davis was the person who listened to me and took action to solve the problem. I am truly grateful. My items were returned, nothing was broken, and special care was taken to refinish the mid-century furniture that received water damage. I am amazed that any company would go the these lengths to satisfy an admittedly fussy, residential customer who really needed help. I recommend this company without reservation. Don't waste your time starting out with a less qualified company. Go straight to the company that will do excellent work and fix what needs to be fixed. Thank you, Bryan. Thank you, Paul Davis.

I had accidentally overhumidified an instrument case and the instrument and both smelled like mold. I tried everything I could find to get rid of the smell, even replaced the case. I had used Paul Davis of Milwaukee 5 years ago for a house fire and reached out to them again to use the ozone chamber. I worked with Bryan H and Nick Y and I'm extremely pleased to say that the odor is gone. In addition to being very accommodating to me, they had it in ozone the same day I dropped it off and I had it back to me 5 days later. Both are very prompt in answering questions and just getting back to me in general. Very knowledgeable in working with "oddball" items and clearly love and are proud of their company. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul Davis of Milwaukee and especially Bryan and Nick to anyone who needs their services. Very happy with an odorless instrument and with the quality of their employees.

I recently went through one of the worst experiences of my life. My brother was burned in a fire at our parent’s house in Milwaukee. It was heart wrenching for my brother, myself and our family. I live in California and I wasn’t able to participate in every aspect of the restoration of the house. I never worried for a moment because Paul Davis took care of everything! While I was taking care of my brother, Paul Davis took over fixing my parent’s house, coordinating with American Family Insurance. They are so efficient and caring. Mike B, took care of structural concerns, and he was in contact with me at each stage of the process, and I was amazed how quickly they were able to complete the work. This company is outstanding! Bryan H took care of contents, and there was not a trace of smoke or fire discernible. They made it so easy for me. The contents cleaned and packaged for ease in sorting later. Everything was done in a professional, caring and detailed way. I needed to spend time with my brother, and they gave me that time because they took care of the house. I am so grateful. If you should ever go through an experience like this one, this is the company that you want by your side.

The people from Paul Davis are very courteous and friendly. They're very professional in completing their job and the workmanship is excellent. It was nice to have a timeline when the restoration began. Jacob and Tim did a great job, as well as their teams.

Paul Davis did a great job repairing the damage done to our roof & ceiling. They kept us informed as to what to expect & daily updates. Work was well done. The staff went out if their way to accomadate us.
