Upon checking all our company inboxes, we have never received an email from [redacted] @yahoo.comThus explains our lack of replyThis sounds like a relatively simple issue and simple resolution - our Merchandising department works specifically to vet and describe all our parking locations to ensure easy and accurate informationThis includes "how to find it" instructions on every pass, and precise latitude longitude coordinates using Google MapsIf a change is being proposed, it need only to be communicated via email to ***@parkwhiz.com and we will ensure proper investigation to the core issue, as well as follow up with sender

Apologies for all the frustration you suffered hereWe just sent you an email, detailing what could have gone wrong and options to resolve this sort of thing more proactively moving forwardNevertheless, in this instance, you were refunded as a one-time gestureSince we are a third party company, we do not have access to the money paid on-site at lots and garages, nor do we manage those locations or the attendants working thereThis is why we ask for proof of on-site payments, so that we have traceable evidence for auditing purposesWe're happy to consider this one water under the bridge though! Our Merchandising department works solely to provide accurate descriptions and driving instructions on all our passesAlthough we can not absolutely guarantee drivers do not take a wrong turn at some point, we certainly do our best to correctly inform them on where to parkSince this complaint was filed, we have been in touch with you directly to clarify and resolve the issueWe are currently awaiting a response, and are of course here for further conversation until both parties consider the issue resolvedWe have also contacted the operator of the lot in question, across the street, to ensure their address and messaging are correct

Apologies again for the frustrating experience! As detailed in your conversations with our agents, we are unable to reimburse your payment to the tow yard because the instructions on your pass were not followedSince your vehicle was parked in an unauthorized space, this resulted in your vehicle
being towedSpecifically, the area you pre-paid for through ParkWhiz is a residential area, and as such it is well within the owner’s rights to have any vehicle towed that is not authorized to be thereWe received photos from the tow company, which were forwarded to you, that confirm the vehicle was not in the space sold through ParkWhizTherefore, we are unable to offer any further reparations, and consider this issue to be resolved

I am rejecting this response because:i was given a considerably worse parking spot (although more expensive...?) which cost me to miss one third of the event I was suppose to attendI was told I was being fully refunded (and I guess they only MEANT for the spot they oversold and was unavailable), but I missed a large part of my event for the 1) spot originally being purchased being unavailable that same day and 2) having to call in 2x in order to get replacement parking and get directions due to the poor visibility of new spotand then lose out on part of my event. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that this company thinks that customer service can LIE, and then try to act like they did me this huge favor by refunding me something they oversoldThe least they could do is help me have an equal parking spot, which they did notThey found me a spot that was availablewhich was more expensive (I didn't get a choice in this), and now somehow they think I should pay them. Also, we are arguing over $It is principle! They said they were refunding meAnd now it is only a partial refund

booked another parking space for you, for $after an extreme discount of $was offeredTo be clear, the second parking pass issued had a list price of $37.99, and you were charged only $After checking our call records, I was able to confirm that a second phone agent assisted with driving directions, to be sure you had arrived at the correct locationSince ParkWhiz does not own or operate any parking space or parking facility, we are not able to see real-time inventory - we rely on our parking providers to keep us up-to-date on in-the-moment changes to availabilityApologies that the first space was unavailable! Because of that, we fully refunded your purchase price and applied the discount to your replacement purchaseSince your were able to park, and the second space was indeed available to honor your booking, we can not in good faith withdraw those funds from the seller's accountI hope this helps shed some light on the situation! I am rejecting this response because: In their response they infer I am lying - which I resent Park Whiz never acknowledges the fact that I left voice mail messages asking them to call me - I never sent them an email and did not claim to have sent them an emailIf Park Whiz actually read my original filing they would know I did not claim to send them an emailThis is further evidence that Park Whiz does not want to resolve this issue in a responsible mannerSince Park Whiz says they will respond to an email I will send them an email and hope this issue can be resolved

So we've issued a refund for his $booking and a $coupon code for future use, to compensateThe customer has received an email confirmation of thisHis coupon code is "***" and can be used at any location on our website with no expiration date

We have been actively corresponding with the customer since April 11thThe situation he encountered was frankly very odd and what we considered to be an edge case, so it required deeper evaluation from all parties - by which I mean, we were awaiting input from the parking lot operator in order to
resolve this claimSince ParkWhiz is a marketplace, we deal with both consumers (people needing parking) and clients (people selling parking)When there is an issue like this, it takes time to resolve since we need to get the client involved and ask for their blessing on issuing any type of refund. At this time, we did hear back from the client and are moving forward with the full refund of $20, as requested by the customerThat refund has been issued as of this morning and the customer has been made aware. Thanks!

HI [redacted] As a third party, ParkWhiz does not set the rates at which parking is sold - these are determined by the parking provider themselves. It's for this reason that we had to cancel your pass, since the parking facility would not have honored the lower rate. Ultimately we don't want to knowingly sell you something that won't be honored, and in recognition of this error, we've corresponded with your personal email with a full behind-the-scenes explanation and a credit towards rebooking at perhaps a more honorable parking facility that would be happy to have your business. I'm sorry again for the trouble! There unfortunately is not much more that we can do in this case, but should you choose to use the credit we provided to rebook,that would put your out-of pocket expense below your original purchase price.

As some of further apology for all the trouble and frustration, we have applied an additional $10 credit to your account! This is valid for 12 months and can be applied to any future booking on our platform. Do be sure to log in to your account *before* confirming your next purchase to see that credit deduct automatically at checkout.So sorry for any inconvenience!
