Issues have been resolved with customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business offering 200$ for all the trouble caused to me is not a fair. I paid 200$ per day for whole one month for the things which were not provided to me on time. I expect minimum 5000$ as a reimbursement for not delivering their services on time, providing incorrect billing and overcharging, harassing the client and paying way to health issue caused to me and my daughter for late delivery of the good in winter.

We are happy to help answer any questions and settle any disagreements. You should have provided all pertaining information to the claims company and if they are not compensation by weight for any particular item, they should tell you why. I would recommend contacting the claims company to find out.

Revdex.com spoke to Doldie at business and the following was relayed: The weight was taken after vehicle was loaded and then weighed again after if was unloaded to get the weight, which came to 5020 lbs. The consumer was refunded what we were able to refund, $250 as a courtesy. The contract clearly states that if the weight is more than the estimate there will be additional charges.

Thank you for your communication. We apologize for your any inconvenience. I apologize for any misunderstandings. It appears your articles list increased from 145 pieces to 302 pieces. The additional cubic feet your move required seems reasonable according to the increase in number of pieces. Your carrier does have the ability to charge for any increased number of articles that cause a change in weight, or cubic foot needs. Please review your highlighted agreement below: Understanding Your Estimate Customer has selected a binding not to exceed price. Total costs will not exceed the estimated cost; detailed in the list of pieces, for an estimated weight/cf listed in the Relocation details of this agreement, providing that Customer provides Pan American Relocations with an accurate description of the items that are to be moved and the services that need to be performed. If there is an increase of items, packing services, weight/cf or labor services added at the origin or destination to those quoted in this agreement, the Customer may be charged for those services at full tariff rates.

Dates chosen by customer were 11/22 or 11/23. Carrier arrived on the 22nd and waited until 23rd for the customer as a courtesy. Original Inventory only contained 17 pieces VS carrier inventory of  42 items. Customer is to pay half of remaining balance at pickup, yet nothing was paid to the...

carrier. Carrier has provided all paperwork and weight tickets attached. Carrier is willing to deliver items, however customer requests a reweigh and their would be a charge for that due to the scale not being near customer residence.

This issue has been resolved. Customer has been delivered. We will help resolve any further issues if needed directly. Please call ###-###-####.

Mr. [redacted], Please read our last message once again and view attached images. Your response does not take into account the facts that were stated. Your moving contract specifically states 8/10 or 8/11 and the carrier arrived on the 10th. We do not guarantee any exact date or time. We did not guarantee an exact delivery date or time, this is something provided by the carrier. Under normal circumstances the delivery time frames can be unpredictable as the driver is stopping for other customers and is traveling by road. Please feel free to let us know if you have further questions. I would suggest a thorough reading of your signed contract and paperwork, this will answer many of your questions.

Mrs. [redacted],We regret the issues that have occurred. Barbara has reported that she did speak with your niece, your social worker, and your attorney. The carrier reported that they tried to deliver your goods on 5/18 and you were not able to pay the balance at this time so they had to place the items in...

a local storage and redeliver them on 6/14. Under these circumstances when a customer refuses delivery there in normally a $500 + re-delivery charge applied by the carrier, however we appreciate that the carrier waived this for you. It is our understanding that Barbara is now in touch with you and will help guide you through the claims process against the carrier in order for you to receive compensation for your missing/damaged items. Please communicate with her going forward in order to ensure your claims process goes through correctly. We appreciate your business.

Mr. [redacted], Apologies for the delays caused by the carrier. It was reported to us by the carrier that the payment for the first half of the move was not submitted until July 15th 2016. The carrier has a maximum of 21 business days to deliver after this date. As a broker we are not directly...

responsible for late deliveries, however we will help make sure you are compensated for any days that the carrier is late over the allotted time frame. Based on the information provided by the carrier, your items are located in Atlanta and are in transit. They are claiming to deliver in 7 days. We will be in touch with you to discuss the credit and will help place a claim if there are any damages or missing items. Thank you

This misunderstanding has been resolved between all 3 parties involved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I went on line filled out the paper work with the Revdex.com. That is as far as I got. I should have gotten more form's to fill after I completed those forms. I should have gotten a call to give them the information on my broken item's and the missing Items I got neither. The person name Barbara at ###-###-####I I called her several times she did call me back sent me another link to the same place to begin another complaint. This has been a real headache for me , it seem's that no one wants to help me recover . My husband passed away in January this year. Now this is happening to me is there anyone that can help get pass the first stage of my complaint. Please someone help me. My ID # is [redacted].

Mrs. [redacted], Please review your contract, as per your contract you were advised that you will receive a revised estimate from the driver. I have attached all the paperwork we have received form the carrier. They advised you were credited $175 because the actual weight came out to 2900 lbs instead of 3150 on their revised estimate. I have requested them to provide weight tickets to prove the 2900 lbs is correct. I am waiting on this paperwork and will update you accordingly.

As you know we both have tried numerous times to resolve this issue with the carrier, however they have not been successful in providing a resolution. At this point I would advise you to continue with your damage claim and claim all missing and damaged items. You also have every right to file  a DOT complaint against the carrier since there have been so many unfulfilled promises. I do apologize that we have not been successful in helping resolve this matter.

If this is the response you received from the carrier it is incorrect and when I spoke with AAA movers they were to get a weigh bill and let me know if there even was one, the amount of items was incorrect and the only reason there should have been another charge for a long haul was because the driver could not maneuver the truck he was driving and could not get close enough to the building because he was in an oversized rig. I was never told the size of the truck they were transporting in. The Driver was also aware there was only 29 items. I am not satisfied with this response.
