I am rejecting this response because:Protect America has never contacted me with payment options for a service I never used but unfortunately neglected to cancel within their allowable timeframe due to my preoccupation with my wife's illness and eventual death.   I am done with this horrible company and will not deal with their collection agency.

Protect America, Inc. has received the rejection submitted by Ms. [redacted]. We've spoken with Ms. [redacted] and offered to clear part of the balance for her if she was willing to pay the portion that she owes. Ms. [redacted] denied the offer stating that she is only willing to pay $49.99. She is responsible for $99.98 of the current account balance, which is $249.91. We were unable to reach an amicable resolution.

Protect America has received the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted]  We reviewed the account and calls. On the recorded initial sales call dated 02/19/2017, Mr. [redacted] was advised by the sales representative that there was a restocking fee of $79 that would be applied if he cancelled and...

returned the equipment within 14 days. The terms and conditions with regards to the 14 day policy is also outlined on the first paragraph under the Monitoring Agreement section. We ask that Ms. [redacted] allows Protect America to assist with any further concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: I accepted an offer made to me by the Licensing Department yesterday. They told me that they will make contact with the supervisors at LAPD Alarm Section to see if they can pull the false alarm fee out of collections and allow me to complete alarm school to waive the fee, or if they cannot pull it out of collections, [redacted] told me that Protect America will pay the $162. If everything goes as planned I will not be canceling my Protect America account. Thank you.

Protect America, Inc. has received the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. In reviewing her account we’ve found that Ms. [redacted] has been a valued customer of PAI beginning 10/7/2013. With relocating the alarm system to her new home, Ms. [redacted] was familiar with installing her equipment. After installing the...

equipment Ms. [redacted] called for assistance with programming of the equipment. After completing a system test with Ms. [redacted] on 9/2/2015 we found that sensors that were previously set as a delay in her previous home had been placed on windows in her new home. This has since been set to no delay and the window sensors will sound immediately. Additionally, please be advised that if the mobile app reads offline does not mean the alarm system is not functioning. Per Ms. [redacted] agreement we will replace equipment that is not functioning properly. We have attempted to contact Ms. [redacted] to address her concerns. At this time we ask that Ms. [redacted] contact our office for a possible resolution.

I am rejecting this response because:"Protect America, Inc. has received the rejection submitted by Mrs. [redacted]. Upon review, Protect America has provided Mrs. [redacted] with a solution – what solution? A technician was sent to Mrs. [redacted]'s home to install her security system - that is because the phone technician [redacted] could not figure out how to install it over the phone. The technician who came to my home was here for 3 ½ hours to install a system that I was told “was really able to myself because it was really easy”. The system has been properly installed and tested – The technician left without completely installing the system as it was missing pieces that had to be ordered. Once I got the pieces, no one has been able to tell me how to install a new battery or how to program a new key fob. In order to get out of the agreement, Ms. [redacted] can transfer the system to someone else or pre pay the account". 1.       Prior to this debacle I had alarm.com and Monotronics was the monitoring company. I have their digital panel still so it would be easy to go back to them. Can I do that without penalty?2.       What do you mean by “pre pay” the account? I am a little offended, as I sent in so much documentation of emails and phone calls and I get a four sentence response that makes no sense. still insisting I owe 99.99 which NOT true. I offered the rep on the phone 2 hours ago to pay the 49.99 right now which I owe - NOT 99.99. They refuse to END their scam and keep callg with the same scam. Again 49.99 right now and I am done.

No.  They intentionally gave me the run around. I spent a long time trying to cancel my service and they did not return my messages and kept having problems with their system to where the call routing would not work. If their system is not working how can I call them?? They kept dragging it on and on to intentionally make my time run out to charge me a second month. I have been a customer for years and I will contact the CEO as well as the attorneys general if I have to. The scam is the fact that you can't reach the company to give the thirty days notice. The process is so difficult in order to be able to charge you again. Furthermore, I asked the rep over the phone if I had time to cancel and he said yes. How is it that you are sent a written cancellation document that is do that very moment. Of course that doesn't make sense. If they reviewed the tapes then they should have my messages left that they never returned the call.  This company wants future business and this is how customers are treated on the way out. Classic setup of a company that scams. They don't care about customers at all.  They just wait for the next one to scam.  Also they said they will charge me September and end my service Septemeber which wouldn't even be a full month. So every time a customer cancels they pay for a pull extra month but doesn't get the full service?? Seems like another scam  I know the Revdex.com doesn't do lawsuits but I will take it all the way to class action myself since they laugh in the face of poor scammed customers    I'm not even in a contract in them but sure feels like I am doesn't it? Either way I am not going to accept this scam I can keep handling the matter as far as they would like to take it, including reporting their scam behavior to the state attorneys. Complaint: [redacted]

[redacted]Im rejecting this offer due to an online communications between a technician and myself stating "upgrading for a better communication to 3G service only" also in that conversation I stated "send me the information to send the system back and I will be contacting the attorney general and the Revdex.com" I would like refunded at least 6 months.
