I don't even know where to begin! Pacific Hair has given me my confidence back! My sister is getting married in September and instead of being excited about the occasion, I couldn't get passed the idea of wedding photos with a thinning head. I was stressing out one night, googling solutions when I came across Pacific Hair Extensions & Hair Loss Solutions. I signed up for a consultation thinking it would take some time for them to contact me. Fanta messaged me the next morning and I saw her the following day free of charge! Fanta went though everything thoroughly and professionally. I was nervous at first because it seemed like a lot of money upfront- Luckily Fanta suggested I did it in payments. Little by little, what I could afford. Eventually the time came for my installation! I was scared! Fanta's team took care of me! They explained the procedure, told me what to expect, and answered all my questions with genuine sincerity - regardless of how silly the question may be.

My hair piece turned out Fantastic! They matched my natural color perfectly! Then I had options! Highlights? YES PLEASE. I even got to decide the ratio to how much highlight to natural! I liked that I had options! But with options, I had more questions, and with those questions Pacific Hair provided answers! I was never left unsure about something.

After Care of the piece is was on of my biggest concerns. I emailed Fanta multiple times a day, with questions and concerns and she ALWAYS replied in a timely manner. At one point, I bumped my head hard and was scared I may have damaged the piece, Fanta squeezed me in that day to look it over. I also had a lot of anxiety as to how I would explain this to people. From always, and I mean always wearing a hat to having this luscious, surfer looking golden locks? Fanta and her team talked me through it. They provided me with the confidence to get out there and embrace this new look! THEN! Followed up with how it went. They got to know me on a personal level. I never felt like they were just after my money. Today I still email Fanta about my piece if I have questions. Fanta takes all questions seriously and handles them in a professional manner. It may be a bit of money up front, but if you take care of your piece and listen to the Pacific Hair Teams suggestions, your piece will last longer. My experience has been life changing! I contacted Pacific Hair about 2 months for a consultation appointment. Came in for the consultation that was done by Fanta. She was awesome, very knowledgeable about the products and the installation process. She was very helpful and accommodating, I had told her I was going on holiday and would like the installation to be done before leaving but I still wanted to think about it. She took all the measurements and information so that I would just need to call in and say yay or nay. It was very helpful! I ended up saying yay and the hair was installed 6 days before my trip. The installation was done very well and easy by Brianna, she was so patient and helpful through the whole process. Finally the young lady Alison at the reception was also very helpful and accommodating. The whole experience has been great and I will definitely go back!

I went to Pacific Hair Loss with my mother to get extensions put in as our hair has been thining and badly damaged. When we went in for the initial consultation we were happy with the service and what was explained. We out down a depositand was told by the owner that same day, that if we weren't happy with the product they would eat the cost and make it right.

The day I went in I was there over 7hrs. I was told they could remove bonded extensions to which was very clear they had no idea what they were doing. They used an oil, sprayed alcohol and even had me look up online other ways to remove bonded extensions. This was the first disaster and they lied about knowing how to remove them. The owner Fabta came in at one point and said to use a flat iron on low heat to try and remove them. My hair was wet and full of alcohol now using a flat iron they damaged my hair further, left a big hole where hair once was and melted the plastic into my hair. They never removed all the melted plastic either.
After that Brianne had put thread through my hair but so tight that it has left patches and damage because of it. The hair never matched my hair color nor the texture at all. I was given African American tight curly hair that kept knotting up, felt like wire and was nothing like what was shown not promised.
When I left none of my own hair was showing except for a tiny bit on top to try and cover a head piece but for the rest my hair was completely covered. I had pieces of mesh/lace and a wig completely showing, breanne even had to cut a piece it was so bad. I was sent out with any styling ***. There was SO much hair and very overwhelming. At first I was happy because I had a hair again but that changed very fast!
The hair was a carpeted mess on my head - looked like I ha a helmet on. I ha to tie it up which caused it to knot terribly. My mom had to cut the hair as it knotted so badly. Out of desegregation I tried to wash it which made it 100x worse and knotted and matted it up. Lace from the front and pieces were showing. I couldn't braid it do anything with the hair. I had threads sticking out and long pieces and am still finding pieces now.
This was never agreed upon. I had them remove it the first day they were open on Tuesday after having it put in on Friday. I had so much anxiety that weekend along with panic attacks and was in tears.***

This wasn't natural at all, didn't look not feel natural! It wasn't my hair color, it felt like wire it knitted up! It damaged my own hair. My hair couldn't breathe, my head was so sore and itchy this was an absolute nightmare.

When I came in on the Tuesday I told them everything and said I wanted it out. I told them my concerns and how unhappy I was. After spending over $2000 this should have been perfect and done right the first time round.
They offered to color it, relax the curl and turn it into clip extensions. After spending that kind of money it should have been right from the outset! Dye the hair so then the quality will be worse? Relax a curl that was so tight and looked horrific. Clip ins? My hairs so thin and so damaged already that would create further damage with the weight.
I asked for a partial refund to which they refused! *** I'd say $4000 for a horrific job and not given the product the first time round correctly is a ton of money. They refuse to work with me in being willing to offer my mom a refund and me even 3/4 of the payment back.
We bit got any hair products as promised nothing!

Client called and spoke with front end administrator for a second time today. She described how she and her mother have both had bonded extensions in the past and are not keen on them anymore. She said she had just had them in recently and said that the previous establishment did a very bad job. She was very concerned about damaging her hair and our front administrator explained that there is no heat, glue anything involved and that we deal with the finest of hair. They both seemed very interested in learning more about them. Booked consult for the following day, April 5th 12pm.

Client had consultation with consultation technician. She brought her mother in as well. She was wearing keratin hair extensions and described how she was not happy with the service or product that she's currently receiving and between her mom is spending $2K every three months. She said she found that the quality of the hair deteriorated within a matter of a couple weeks. She felt that her hair is very fine and she wouldn't be able to have the extensions without a hairpiece. Two of our technicians explained the process of a piece to her and she was very open to trying that out along with two tracks of extensions. She liked the idea of being able to wear her hair up and described only ever wearing her hair curly. She also described washing her hair one to two times a week.

At her installation appointment, she wanted us to remove her fusions extensions.

Our front administration technician recommended that she get a 'body wave' texture, explaining that this texture would suit her best and be easier to care for than a texture with a tighter curl. Client insisted on the tighter curl, and pointed to a sample with the exact curl she preferred. This was the curl noted on her work order, and this was the the texture we ordered for her.

Client's colour was also matched to our sample swatches, and she appeared to be happy with the choices.

Client signed to the details of her work order, as well as a future performance contract detailing the scope of work. Some of the details noted in her formula history, are listed below:

With one of our technicians, who noted that client was happy when she left. Client did not want to cut her extensions today as she wanted to go home and play with the styling to see how if feels first.

4/21/18
Client called and spoke with front end administrator. She said she could not manage her hair extensions/piece at all and found the curly texture does not match her own hair and said she woul need to have it cut/debulked. Front administrator let her know that she would pass on the message to the technician and that we would sort those issues out for her asap.

4/24/18
Client's mother's appointment was today, however client came in instead of mother. Front administrator spoke with her to see what her concerns were. She said that her mother would not be coming in to have her hair done as she could see client's hair and would not want to "put herself through that". Client's concerns were noted as follows:

- She felt the texture of her hair extensions did not match her own hair as it was way too curly and unmanageable and didn't feel nice
- She felt the colour of her extensions/piece did not match her own hair and showed both front administrator and technician her own hair

- She also mentioned her mom had to cut her hair

- She said her partial piece was visible and she was getting teased by friends about it

- Front administrator and technician both explained to her that we have a no refund policy that once we fill out the work order sheet with you and it is signed the order is gone through.

- Technician explained to client that she could work through these issues eg. lighten up the piece for her (and that this will also relax the curl), and also said that we could put her extensions on clip-ins. Client would like "a manager" to call her to confirm our refund policy and wants to still decide want she wants to have done to the piece. Technician had client sign a pick-up sheet to say that we have her piece and that if she wanted to go ahead with the changes we have everything written down of wants she wants done.

Client repeatedly asked for refund, and was told our policy of no refunds or exchanges. She was also told that even though her mother did not show up for her appointment, she could come in and have her extensions (which we had ready for her as per her contract) made into clips, and fit and cut. Client refused.

4/24/18
Front administrator received an odd call from a person claiming to be a bank official on client's behalf, demanding that we reverse the charges on her credit card. We refused.

4/26/18
We received a call, this time from a verified bank official, who wanted to hear our side of the story, as client was claiming that we supplied her with 'damaged hair pieces with holes in them'. We described our experience based with client and her mother, as well as our offer toward a fair solution. We also offered to forward pictures of the products we completed to show that they are not damaged, and in fact what client and her mother requested.

Our offers still stand.

I am not happy with the outcome and still want my refund. I have currently been out of town which is why I couldn't respond sooner.

It isn't right that after a weekend I was the first person through their door to have the extensions removed. My mom didn't even get hers put in.

So with no hair and no products that were promised I want me deposit back. They already received the remaining charge for my hair which was paid in cash.

It is very unfortunate that we cannot come to a fair conclusion to this matter. As aforementioned, we offered a few solutions to help (client) become more accustomed to her hair piece and hair extensions, yet she refused. On the day that (client) decided to remove her extensions, her mother had an appointment booked to have her own extensions installed. These extensions were already prepared specifically for her, and time had been set aside for this purpose. We were told on the morning of her appointment, by her daughter, that she would not be getting her extensions installed. As a business, we not only lost this time that we could have booked for another client, we are also now left with a set of customized grey extensions, that will not be usable for anyone else.

Again, we are happy to install these extensions for (client's) mother, as well as proceed with the recommendations for (client). This is the most fair solution we feel we can offer considering the situation.

I do not accept the previous proposal and continue to state the same.
The hair that was provided was the wrong color, texture and curl. The hair was removed as soon as the door was open the next business day. I was very unsatisfied with what was given and they damaged my hair. The options they provided weren't going to work and would damage my hair further. The hair products promised weren't even provided. They kept everything and are still refusing to give me my deposit back which is all I want. It's not right that what they promised wasn't delivered and my hair was damaged in the process.

The semi-permanent wig application is amazing! The installation is a bit irritating but is extremely tolerable. My consult visit, and then the application visit, went smoothly and the Staff is super friendly and very informative- answering all my questions and joking with me each visit. I had a question about the 'track' maintenance and emailed the Staff on a Saturday and received an answer almost immediately- great follow up! The office is bright and airy, with lots of room for the whole process.
I've used clip-in hair toppers before but with this application, I don't have to worry about my piece slipping and it's not uncomfortable when sleeping. The piece can be parted on either side so it looks natural and the quality of the hair is excellent. I have been very impressed with the ease of styling, straightening or curling, and it even looks natural when up in a ponytail! I will definitely be using their services again!

Pacific Hair and all the people involved with my transformation were amazing! It was an impeccably clean surrounding and incredibly comfortable. The staff were more than accomodating and super friendly. I decided on the installation as opposed to implants based on cost and generally not wanting a painful long healing process. The actual installation was quick easy and painless. They have an extensive array of hair piece options ie: density, color, style, length etc. After a few touch to perfect the installation and piece itself im very happy with the outcome and I highly recommend Pacific Hair to anyone with male pattern baldness or any other hair loss reasons!

Words cannot express how grateful we are for the extraordinary gift Pacific Hair has given my mom. After a very emotional summer with my mom being diagnosed with *** cancer, all the doctor appointments, and starting her chemotherapy treatment she was feeling lost and confused. Everything has been happening too fast for my mom to even comprehend. Just after my moms second chemotherapy treatment she noticed the hair loss had began. She decided to get ahead of it and cut all her hair. Honestly I think she was devastated when she pulled out chucks of hair, it was easier for her to process to cut it off. But after she had cut it I remember she called me and told me "it's hard to feel beautiful with no hair". This statement from my moms mouth broke my heart. So this started our journey with Pacific Hair. Pacific Hair really showed compassion towards my mom and made her feel comfortable. They created a beautiful wig from my daughter and nieces hair that my mom says is extremely comfortable and easy to wear. It has been a very emotional few months with many tears but Pacific Hair managed to put a smile on my moms face and put a little spring in her step. This review is five months overdue, but better late than never. A female family member of mine was gearing up to go through chemotherapy and was told by a doctor she would lose all of her hair. It was a shocking time for all of us, so a couple of family members wanted to chip in to get her a nice wig for her. We started by sending out e-mails to all wig service providers in B.C. and Pacific was among the fastest to reply with a wealth of information including everything that you would ever need to know about wigs. After narrowing down to about three places, we were ready to go in person for a consultation. There was about four of us, including our family member who was about to go through the hair loss, and not only were they able to accommodate us all together, they were also able to put us in a private room with a nice view. They spent almost two hours with us explaining the differences between all kinds of wigs, fit, textures, lengths etc. She was even able to try on some styles of what they had there. The thing that we really liked was that they put a lot of emphasis on ensuring that she ended up with a wig that was similar in colour, style and texture, so that when she started losing her hair the shock wouldn't be too much. They also explained very carefully how we could get reimbursed (partially) from her health insurance. We eventually decided to order a custom wig (human hair) and it was ready in about two weeks. We were blown away at how closely the colour matched what I thought was a very difficult strawberry blonde to achieve. She hadn't lost terribly much hair at that point, so they didn't fit the wig 100% as they wanted to make sure she had the best possible fit for her. She started to lose her hair more aggressively toward the end of that month and decided to shave it down and have the wig fitted for real. At that fitting, a hair stylist spent about an hour and a half, fitting, and cutting into a style she liked - shorter and layered- they tutorialed how to wash and style it on her own, gave her shampoo and conditioner - included in package and didn't charge us for that appointment. Her hair has now grown out a bit -a bit more than peach fuzz - so she's very happy to have a wig that gives her confidence, especially as she's heading back to work soon. We were all very pleased with the professionalism, warmth and high quality of product.
