When client signed up for our services she was told that there would be a monthly charge of $34.95 but that she could cancel at anytime as there is no contract. The email states:

In addition to the New Applications, you will receive 2 live teleconferences each week with a grant expert! REMEMBER, if you don't get accepted for a grant, you will be refunded immediately. Just provide us with the application you applied for and the response letter from the grantor."
 
As you can see, it does impy she will be billed. It also states our refund policy. We went over this numerous times with client but she wanted a refund based on the fact that she "misunderstood" Had she contacted us the week of the charge we may have been able to issue some form of refund however it has now been over 2 weeks. She still has access to our services until 2/7/16. We suggested to her that she apply for funding and let us know if and when she is turned down so we could refund her. We also told her we would pull the registration phone call. She refused to listen to us and did not care about the call. She repeatedly called us for 2 hours even though we told her we would call by end of day with the recording. Client was not willing to cooperate with us. We will not be issuing a refund unless she goes through the refund policy.

When my son signed up for the assistance from USA Funding, the following was posted on their website.  It does not say anything about a monthly fee.  Emails that were sent to him, did not state he would be charged another $29.95 for his membership.  We feel it was deceptive.  The following statement copied directly from USA Funding website (https://newusafunding.com/v3/1ac.php) states a fee...not a monthly fee.  I attached one of the emails that was sent to my son, Jeffrey as well.
"To provide you with the support and resources you need to successfully pursue your funding quest, we charge a small fee to cover the administrative costs of marketing and advertising this site. The fee is $29.95-a fair price to pay for the wealth of applications and information provided. With your registration fee, you will receive access to our members-only application sources site."
 
I strongly feel this company took advantage of my son and overly charged us.

Just had a horrible experience. Trying to get out of debt and get support for my business. I filled out the questionnaire. I was called back hours later by a man who at first sounded very nice and helpful. Things changed when I wanted to keep asking questions about their company and what they do. He grew impatient and frustrated and very rude and disrespectful. He kept telling me, with his high pressure sale tactics, to sign me up for their service and if I can't give him a yes or no right then he would take me out of the system and make the same mistake everyone else does who doesn't use their service. He told me how he spent 16 minutes on the phone with me and normally he signs people up in 6 minutes. I don't care about everyone else! This is your job! If you want to help me so bad, don't high pressure me, and answer the questions I have. He went on to try to tell me how he wanted to help but that he didn't want to be disrespectful but already had been. I told him I felt like he was already being disrespectful by telling me I'm wasting his time by not giving him an answer. He said he has many years on me as if that would make any difference in my decision. I still don't have the info I would need to determine if I want to use the service. At this point. I had already told him I've been scammed by a debt consolidation company and I've had my identity stolen. I voiced my concerns which he didn't seem to care about giving me information that would let me know they are not in the scamming business. Or what they can do. I basically heard a lot of "I need a yes or no now" He then hung up on me as I was in mid sentence. His extension was [redacted] through the 888-364-1120 phone number. Which is in the website. I will not use them nor would I recommend them

She utilized the services on 4 different occasions. She emailed us on March 22, 2016 asking for a refund and to cancel her account. We did cancel the account so there will be no future charges. However, in order to get a refund, she must go through the money back guarantee.

I been reading all these peoples legit complaints and they all seem to have the same problem more or less.about your company's business policies.And of course you always have somebody from your company willing to reply to them, and of course, you are never to blame for any part of it. You always have some lame as excuse for everything well I want a refund too. Fortunately for me I had my fee pending until the first of march.but by the grace of god I was able to see you for the gutter trash you people really are before you got your hands in my bank account. Believe me, I still would like to take that refund for me and all these other people straight out of your as. now let's see what lame as crap you roll off of the forked tongue you have in that mouth of yours about what I have to say about your company and the people who work for it.Believe me, the suspense will kill me: God doesn't like ugly and taking advantage of disabled low-income poor people really doesn't sit well with him at all I'm sure either. And on the real, if you got a problem with what I have to say here, and mine is the truth no deceit and lies here, we can get together face to face and I can show what it really feels like to have your money taken from you. You can even come back the next month if you like. I pray to god you people have no children cause with parents like you with no morals or ethics don't deserve any, we have enough cowards and sneeky creepy gutter trash in this world already.

What a great site! 1000's of grant applications in one place. Saves me tons of time not having to search for grants. Yes, there is a monthly fee. They tell you when you talk to the over the phone. So what. I would rather pay someone else to search for grants than spend my time searching and searching... From my experience so far they know what they are doing. Review: I have asked for a refund as my credit card has been charged monthly since June 2013. I do not use their services and they can see in my account that I have not used their services. When I called to get my refund on my credit card Alyssa told me she can only give me one month worth back. She then told me they have a 100% money guarantee if I get denied for a grant. She suggested that I purposely get denied for a loan or grant and then she will give me all of my money back. That is the only way is if I get denied for a grant. I do not need a grant and do not want to apply for the grants just to get denied on purpose.

Alyssa says her extension is 103 and that is connected to her employee number.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund for the services that I did not use with this company.

Review: My son was searching for college scholarships. We thought it was a one time fee of $29.95, but they have been charging us $29.95 each month for 10 months now. I didn't realize it til lately. We never received any scholarship information or any help. How do I get them to stop charging my credit card? And, I would like my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like $299.50 refunded for services not rendered.

Review: I was looking for grants to open a homeless shelter in Iron Mountain, MI. for as I am a Medical Support Assistant for the Mental Health Department at the Oscar G. Johnson VA medical center and a Combat Veteran of the US Army OEF/OIF. I logged into the site they claim they have applications and you need to pay 29.99 for the processing fees of applying for grants, although there was no applications all there are is hyperlinks to other websites that I could of just gotten off Google search Engine. I cancelled my subscription through their little email contact point, not so sure I will get refunded, as they say in their policy that they will refund you if you dont get accepted or get denied, which is a hoax because there are no applications to get denied or unaccepted.Desired Settlement: I want a refund, people are pretty sick they have to set up scams like this because they are too lazy to get up and go to a normal job like real people do, they are worse than a bunch of welfare trash. I want my 29.99 back in cash right down to the last red cent! Cant even try to help some homeless brothers and sisters who are in need without getting screwed over by someone.

Review: I was told if you don't receive funding within your 30 day trial, your membership fees will be refunded to you immediately. Review: I chose to pay what I understood to be a one time fee of $29.95 for the ability to apply for financial loans through various organizations and websites. I noticed the following month that I had been charged again. I contacted New USA Funding re: the issue and was given the run-around. I contacted my bank (Chase) and they informed me that if the business billed me again, I could change my credit card number. I was billed again (second time without my authorization) thus I contacted my bank and changed my credit card number. In the meantime, New USA Funding charged me two more times (a total of 4 times without my authorization). They claim that this continued billing is written into their terms and conditions; however, I reviewed them thoroughly to find no mention of continued billing. I researched them to find that several other people, including teens, have been bilked out of their money.Desired Settlement: I would like the business to be investigated for fraud and I would like a refund.

Client contacted us for the first time on 7/8/15 and was told what the charges were. Our representative gave her our comapny information per her request and client never asked to cancel account at that time. However, client did dispute the charges with the bank shortly thereafter on 8/3/15. She and a bank rep called us again on 9/11/15 asking to be refunded however our rep explained that we could not refund any charges because she had already disputed the charges. We have faxed a copy of what she agreed to originally to the bank rep [redacted] (Chase Bank [redacted]). It states " Funding Application Research ServiceNew USA Funding provides Members an option to opt-in for a Funding Application Research Service. This service is completely optional and offered to clients after they purchase. When they user opts-in for this service, our research team will research new funding opportunities on the internet as they become available and offer them in one place on the site for them to review the ones that they potentially could qualify for if they meet the funders criteria. By agreeing to this service, the user agrees to a membership fee of $29.95 per month which is waived for the first 30 days. If the client does not cancel the service, they will be charged $29.95 each month for this ongoing service. They can cancel at anytime by calling our toll free number [redacted] or by emailing us using our online form on our contact us page."Client was sent an email monthly. 3 days before each charge to [redacted]. It was also posted on her bank statements. We have no control over clients accessing their emails or their monthly bank statements. Had the client done so to begin with, she would have see she was being charged. She did use the services on 2/21/15 and 9/28/15. Had client not disputed charges, we would have been more than happy to negotiate some type of refund with her. Our company is not in the habit to "scam" people out of their money. We offer a service to our clients and most clients are happy with our service. They are also aware of the terms and conditions. We have no control over clients who do not read terms before checking boxes that say they agree to the terms. We are sorry client feels the way she does, however, all she had to do was call us at anytime.

New USA Funding wants me to give them $500.00 to find me a grant for my business start up. They claim that I qualify for many grants. It started out with me paying them $21.99 for 30 days access to their website. I canceled my membership because I received a turn down from one of the companies that contacted me about giving me a loan. According to their garrantee I should get a refund.

Review: I spoke with three different customer service representatives, and all three were extremely rude and refused to help me. Also, the website contradicts what the representative told me on the phone. She said there were many grants out there for individuals, but the website states: Individuals are eligible for benefits, NOT grants.Desired Settlement: I would like my $19.95 fully refunded and the representatives need to be advised not to give people false information that is contrary to their website.

Review: This online company represents themselves to be a free service to access to a list of grants sources for nonprofits. They reference federal grants and their name is similar to a government grant source, giving the impression that it is a government service. Although their heading in bold print says “Free Funding”, buried in the fine print is a “registration fee” of $29.99. I never used the service and was charged $29.99 each month for 8 months which they obtained by automatically taking a check debit from the nonprofit’s bank account until the organization stopped payment by paying an additional fee to the bank. I contacted them multiple times in 2014 to stop the charges. They said the only way to do so is to register again, pay another $29.99, then apply for a grant within 30 days and if it was denied then $29.99 would be refunded. Apparently, they have some scheme to accept you for a loan (not free grant) so they can keep their $29.99. This client opted into the recurring charge when he clicked the box that said "I Agree." He could have contacted us at anytime to cancel. We send out monthly emails, 3 days prior to a charge so client had this info as well not to mention the bank statements showing the transactions. We show client accessed the site up until October of 2014. We also show the only time we heard from him was via email on 4/1/15 asking for information about the charges in which we replied with all the transactions as well as the money back guarantee. He never did call us to resolve the matter. We are willing to compromise. The last log in was 10/5/14. We have sent an email stating we have refunded him for Ocotber and November of 2014 (The last 2 charges). Please consider this as resolved.

Review: I applied for a grant through USA Funding and have hear nothing in months. To receive refund they insist on proof of denial. I have not received ANY proof of denial OR approval so am unable to provide proof. I requested refund 4 times and disputed charge on credit card but they still deny refund. Client emailed us on 3/19/15 asking to be cancelled and refunded. We responeded to him that we had cancelled his account and that in order to get a refund he had to go through our money back guarantee, which states a client must provide us details of any grant that has turned them down. Client did not do this. Client disputed original charge with bank. Since then we have issued a refund for the second charge. Please list complaint as resolved.
