New Era Debt Solutions

Getting out of debt is a painful process, no matter your age or financial status. After getting myself into a lot of debt for my income bracket, I looked through many agencies in this space, but only New Era was considerate and helpful to me. There are charges to pay, but under the circumstances when you are trying to support yourself you don't have the time to do what they do on your behalf. So to me it was a very fair deal. Speaking with their tremendous agents and office staff, it was made clear to me this was a long haul. But I had access to all the information I needed to understand how things were negotiated, how much of my monthly payment to the service was going to the debts, and how they managed negotiations on my behalf. I was contacted when there was an offer to close a debt out for a price, and if I could afford it at that time I'd do it. Most times I couldn't, but the regular payments kept going to extinguish that debt. I started in 2015 and finally made my last payoff in December, 2019. The "credit" I built up in my RAM account that was used for some accelerated payments was refunded to me. It was never fun, but when I received the e-mail that I'd made my last creditor payment and was done it was a breath of relief. Lessons learned. I highly recommend this service as a great way of getting out of debt. It worked for me.

I researched many debt consolidation businesses. New Era was by far the most highly recommended and I can see why. I contacted them in late 2018. They put me on a four year program to get out of debt. With their help and negations with my creditors we were able to get everything paid off in a year and a half. Two and a half years early. I would have never been able to do this on my own and without their help. They have excellent communication with their clients and set up a portal so you can view everything they are doing and how far along you are in the process. I could not be happier to be 100% out of debt in the amount of time it took. Great job new Era!!!

I was very pleased with out come of my program. My debt was payed, it was easy, NewEra took care of it all. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to trust New Era to help me get my debt under control. Alyssa was amazing over phone. I was lead to believe that New Era was the last to get paid which is why they work so hard at getting you the best settlement. Unfortunately, that's not exactly how it works. I had 7 accounts, and 6 months, only one account had been settled. I was paying in over $500 a month, only a small part of that was going to the creditor. New Era was taking 3 times that in a fee. I was under the impression that the creditor was paid first. The only time I ever heard from anyone in the company was if I called or emailed them with a question, other than when the 1 account was settled. At that time, I received a call telling me I had 2 options. 1. to pay a large amount at once or 2. to pay slightly more and make payment. I chose to make payment due to not having a large sum of money. New Era then told me that he would rather I find a way to come up with the amount at once. I told him to settle for the payments, as I didn't have the money. He asked if I could take out a loan or borrow the money from friends and family. Are you kidding me? During 6 months, this is the only time they initiated contact of any kind other than taking money from my bank account. My credit score is far worse now than when I contacted them. Worse mistake I have ever made. I wish I could leave a good rating. I was really looking forward to it. Sadly, it looks like I may have been one that slipped through the cracks...

I came to New Era, didn't know what to expect. And I have Alex the cofounder of New Era nicely enough to reach out to me. Alex was patient and clam asking me how he could help. I told him my situation, and next day he told me that New Era could help me but it's not the best solution for me. He advice me on what's the best option for me. New Era is here to put others need first than to see how they could make from your case. You hardly see that anymore. I want to thank New Era, specially Alex for all you help and advice. Even l did not sign with New Era, I will highly recommend New Era to anybody, they will give you good advice and solutions even they are the best options for you. I came to New Era with a ton of credit card debt after having lost my job for nearly a year. After Googling for reviews, I narrowed my choices down to two, which I then called them to feel them out. The first firm was obviously a larger firm and the agent did the hard 5-minute elevator pitch on their depth of experience, etc and immediately started digging into the numbers and what type of debt I had, with which credit card companies, etc. Interestingly though, they said they did not even work with American Express (not that I had any). At the end of that conversation, I felt as though I was just a number to them and a chance for them to make their commission - spaghetti on the phone concept if you will.
I then spoke to New Era, specifically Alex ***, who is one of the founders of New Era. Alex was patient and calm from the start. Most importantly, Alex and his team are courteous, reassuring and respond promptly to incoming questions. I had 3 calls with Alex directly before deciding to go with them and never felt rushed by Alex or that I was annoying him. Having worked directly with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on consumer credit laws, he has firsthand knowledge with respect to how the credit industry works with respect to the laws. Alex shared his own personal stories of not only working with the FTC on establishing the laws governing consumer credit, but also going through the debt settlement for himself. What's more, despite being a founder, he remains easily accessible and is prompt in returning phone calls. Alex and the New Era team (whether it's the negotiations team or anyone else) are always upfront and honest with their advice. They welcome questions from how this program works to even explaining exactly how your credit score is calculated and affected by the debt settlement process. All in all, New Era does not judge and has a genuine interest in helping their clients through the debt settlement process, which can seem embarrassing, intimidating and scary. They also have referrals to experienced legal expertise specific to consumer credit laws if you need. If you are considering debt settlement, call the firms you are looking at but I strongly encourage you to give New Era a call.
