Review: I was first contacted by National Secure Processing (NSP) about possibly lowering my monthly federal student loan payment. I thought about it and gave them some details of my loan account. They came back saying they could lower my monthly payment by almost $100 a month. I decided to give it a shot and went though the whole process. Keep in mind, too, that I had not signed a legal agreement nor have received any account details/summary and it has been 3 months. My initial payment was $380 to cover my first months payment as well as a processing fee. I was told from there on out that my monthly payment was going to be $295.84. While I was having this $295.84 monthly payment automatically withdrawn from my bank account I was still receiving mail from the Navient (federal loan servicer) showing I was late on my monthly payments. Basically NSP was supposed to manage my account with Navient but the statements I was receiving from Navient were not reflecting any of the monthly payments I was making to NSP. I tried multiple times via email to get account details from NSP to show me exactly where my $295.84 payments were going but received nothing. I finally got a call from one of their reps stating that the payments I had made were actually put into a "trust" account in my name and that in a years time I could re-apply for this "new" loan consolidation that I thought I had got in the first place. In the mean time I would have to pay $41 for a management fee and everything in that "trust" account would be put towards the federal loan then. I wouldn't have a monthly payment to NSP but by federal loan with Navient would still be showing late payments and accrueing interest. I tried to get my "trust" account details, legal documents, basically anything that would show me my account and I have received nothing. I feel like this company lied to me in order to get my banking information and have kept changing things on me to get money. Everything has been less than accommodating.Desired Settlement: In total, I have made payments totalling $1,267.52 to NSP which is now sitting in some trust account that I know nothing about. My federal loan is currently showing late payments and my federal loan total has gone up since first dealing with NSP. Having the burden of student loan debt weighs enough on someone trying to get by. The payments I have made to NSP aren't currently going towards the overall goal of paying off my student loans. The desired outcome is to receive a full refund of the payments I have made to NSP ($1,267.52) in order to get back on track with Navient and continue to work towrds my ultimate goal of paying off my student loan debt.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[The date indicated on the service agreement that they just now sent me shows an electronic signature and date of 8/7/14. I did not authorize any electronic signature. The first corresponence from NSP was on 8/19/14 that my federal loan is on forbearance. They did not send me a service agreement to even overlook which at that point I might've authorized an electronic signature. However, I was contacted in August of 2014 and 3+ months later a service agreement magically appears with my unauthorized electronic signature dated 8/7/14 even though my first email correspondence wasn't until 8/19/14. Alot of things are not adding up. This seems like more of a fraudulent way of business than any type of agreement that they are supposedly saying took place. This will not be resolved until I get my almost $1300 returned to me.]

Review: I have been paying this business for almost a year thinking that I am paying on my student loans when I am not. This business changed all of my personal information with my student loan servicing fed loan servicing and put in wrong phone number and a wrong address and a fake email address that away if fed loan servicing needed to contact me regarding my student loans they could not and it would go straight to them. This business is a scam just so they can collect money from you! I am trying to get a refund back on money that I have paid them and they are telling me I am not allowed to get a refund! These people are frauds and scam artists! I would never sign documents agreeing to their service where 0 dollars goes towards my student loan!Desired Settlement: I want a refund on the money that I have paid to these people!

I never signed any documents with this company and I would never agree to pay someone money just to manage my student loans when fed loan servicing who my student loan is serviced by manages my loans for free. I was under the impression by the representative that I was on the phone with that the amount that I was paying every month was going towards my student loan, not to manage it. Therefore I should be entitled to a refund of MY money. You change all of my personal information with the fed loan servicing without my knowledge to where if I ever needed to be contacted they had no way to do so, and also had two phone numbers listed on there that were non working numbers. None of this was my doing it was the COMPANIES doing! I'm not the first that this has happened to either. Your company is misleading and promising students such as I such great services when instead you automatically enroll us into a program that isn't even paying towards our loans and make it impossible for the company that does service our loans to reach me. If you were so trustworthy and such a great company you wouldn't have over 80 negative reviews under the Revdex.coms site which is where I initially learned how misleading and untrustworthy your company truly is. I will not give up until I have received a refund back of MY MONEY!!

Review: I was called about the Student Loan Services I qualified for, and the assistance I would get because I am a teacher. I continued to say I wasn't interested, and honestly should never had answered the phone. The represenative promised it was all legit and I would see my loan paid off immediately. When I didn't see a change I called, and suddenly my rep was no longer working there. A manager with a private number called me, and assured me that everything would be done by first payment. I have been paying 119$ since January, and there has not been a change at all to my balance. I called again, and manager was not available. I kept calling until he finally returned my calls, and explained paperwork was being made, and a forebearance was in order. I explained that I had to call and get a forebearance myself, because they had not done as they told yet, and I was going to start falling behind.
He thanked me for doing it, and that it would speed up process for me, since I did it for them. I am at mid April now, and nothing has been done yet to my acct, but contact info changed. I still, however, owe the student loan, and my forebearance will be ending by the end of this month. Meaning, I will have to repay my original student loan, and this questionable company that hasn't done anything, but taken my information.
I spoke to [redacted], whom is rarely available to answer phone or returns calls, about cancelling my service with them and refunding my money so that I can just put it into my loan acct myself. He explained there were no refunds, and I would lose that money. I argued with him that that was not what I was first told when I was convinced to join this program.
I felt from day 1 that this company would not follow through, but had hopes I was wrong. The reps are rarely available and I have tried 7 different numbers. It makes me feel as if all lines are really all just one line, and no one works there.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to shred all my info, cancel my contract, and refund me all the money they have taken, so that I may pay back my student loan myself. I am owed about 476 dollars.

I have yet to get this resolved, and they give me the run around, and continue to withdrawal money from my acct. I've trued complaining to them, and its always the same thing that in about 2 weeks I should see changes. Its been since January, and there is yet changes, but my losing money I could put into my original Loan company. My forebearnce is over now, and I will be owing them as well. I need my money refunded, so I can just return to paying the student loan on my own.
Review: On August 19, 2014, I was contacted by a representative from SLS Managers in regards to my student loans. The loan officer I spoke with ([redacted]) represented his company as being part of the Department of Education and promised a 20 year tax free repayment/forgiveness program. To date, I have made two payments to this company totaling $450 and have come to find out that this company is not a part of, or affiliated with the Department of Education. I have also received a bill from FedLoan.org which indicates that the payments I have made to SLS Managers has not gone towards the repayment of my student loans. I have tried multiple times to contact this company, and its affiliated payment processing company National Secure Processing and am not able to reach any service representatives to answer the many questions I have regarding the details of this service. The loan officers at SLS Managers directed me to contact National Secure Processing, which I have done, only to reach a recording stating "[redacted]5 Can't take your call."Desired Settlement: Refund of monies paid

Review: From July 2014 to February 2015 I paid the company (National Secure Processing aka NSP) to manage my student loans in order to gain entry to a loan forgiveness program and have my interest rates reduced . I was to pay NSP rather than my loan company monthly. In turn they would pay a portion of that money to my student loan lender ([redacted]) monthly. I never received any statements from NSP showing my loan balances or allocation of funds paid to my student loans. I called about this problem on a regular basis but was not given any assistance and each time was told that it would take an increasing number of weeks before I received even a welcome packet (which I never received). I found out months later that they had not paid any money to my lender and that my account was delinquent. Thousands of dollars (~$7,000) in interest capitalized to my student loans as a result. I was told by a representative of NSP that the original loan manager who signed me onto their services had been fired for lying to new clients about the services they provided. But they did nothing to rectify the situation. When I cancelled NSP's services I spoke with two different representatives who said that I would be refunded all of what I'd paid to them (over $3,000), and that the money that I'd paid was held in a private trust. I never received any money back and have heard nothing from them in months, although I've tried calling. Many of their phone numbers are not working and I was never allowed to speak to a manager or higher official of the company. I have tried to seek legal counsel in this matter but have not found an attorney who is experienced in these particular issues.Desired Settlement: I believe National Secure Processing should pay back in full all money that I paid to them as they did not provide the service that was promised. I also believe that they should pay the interest which capitalized onto my student loans as a result of their mishandling of my account. I think this business has a responsibility to be honest with their clients and more transparent in their handling of student loan accounts. Monthly statements showing the amount paid and student loan balances should be furnished to their clients. What they did send was a schedule of payments to be made, but that is not sufficient to show a client how their money is being paid (or not paid in my case) to their loan balances.

attain customer satisfaction. The Welcome Package contains the phone numbers
and contact information for client services. And, if money was collected for
services rendered and a customer is later wanting to cancel, we work with that
client to refund payment. We have rendered services to this client and have resolved her account and client has received a refund of what is due to her.

The response from the company stated that I have received any money due refunded to me. I have received $0 from them, they took money from me on a monthly basis and provided no service, and told me that all of my money would be refunded, not once, but twice. So they must be stating that they do not feel that any money is due to me. That is STEALING. I paid them to handle my student loans and keep me in the IBR program. They failed to do this, they put my loans into forbearance and missed the date to reapply for my maintenance in the IBR program, causing my loans to default and have $7,000 in interest capitalize making my loan amount that much greater. On top of it keeping my almost $3,000 which I paid to them TO BE PAID TO MY STUDENT LOANS, WHICH NOT ONE PENNY OF IT WAS. I expect my $3,000 back, which they have not paid me one cent of. They cannot keep that money, as they BREACHED CONTRACT of the services they did not provide and the damage that they did to my loan balance and the amount of time that I have lost being in the IBR because of their negligence in handling my account. They should feel ashamed to do business in such a way.

Review: National Secure Processing contacted me concerning the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. They informed me that they worked directly with the Department of Education and that I was not enrolled in the program. They informed me that they would be able to enroll me and manage my account. They told me I needed to give them $599.00 to get "back on track" and $228.77 per month which would then be paid toward my student loan. They did not inform me that the 599, nor the 228, were fees that were paid directly to them and that none of that would go to my student loans. I signed a contract and paid the money. Three weeks later, after not receiving any further information, I contacted the company and informed them that I was defrauded by their company as the information they gave me was incorrect. I was enrolled in the program and the money I had paid them were fees and not student loan payments. I asked to have my money refunded and my contract canceled. I did not hear from the company again until 6 months later when they sent me an email informing of the monthly payment that was to be removed from my account. I found out that they had been taking money from my checking account, without my knowledge for the last 6 months. I called and asked again to cancel my contract and have my money refunded. After many phone calls, over several weeks, they informed me they would cancel my contract and refund any monies that had not been paid to the student loan company. After two weeks, with no refund, I contacted the company again. They then sent a payment to my student loan company in the amount of $361.31 and canceled my contract. They refused to return any of the other money they had taken from my checking account for the deposit and payments stating they had done what they promised to do. I feel they did nothing for me because my student loans were already consolidated and I was already enrolled in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program through the Department Of EducationDesired Settlement: I would like the money I had paid to them, for services they did not provide for me, refunded. In the amount of $1,610.31. This is the $599.00 initial payment and $228.77 for 6 months ($1372.62) less the amount they paid the loan company of $361.31.

Review: I received a phone call from a man stating that he worked for a loan consolidation company that was going to help me pay back my student loans. After I gave him all my personal info (full name, b-day, ssn, etc) he told me that he has my account pulled up and based on the info in front of him I would have to pay 75.18 a month and that the money would be equally dispersed to all my loans. I gave him my bank information to make an automatic withdrawal on the 3rd of every month. He said I would receive an email confirming everything and that I could contact them at any time if I could no longer make payments. He also told me that every year my application would be reevaluated based on my income and my payments would either go down or go up. I have contacted him several times in the pass year to discuss my loan payment. He assured me everything was fine and being paid. I was told $70 would go to my loan and $5.18 was the fee for using his service. I called him on 2/23/16 to inform him I no longer was working and I need to stop payments until I get a new job. He said he couldn't stop the payments because his system was down until further notice and that even when the system was restored he still may not be able to cancel the payments. He said if I canceled with my bank he would be charged a $25.00 fee and therefore he would have to charge me the same banking fees. So my new total would be $100.18 for having the bank involved. I told him I didn't want to close my account with him yet and that I wold call him in the morning. I found out he was scamming me through contacting FASFA who informed me they never received a payment from me or a third party working on my behalf. I never informed him that I knew he was scamming me on the phone call I made on 2/23/16, I immediately began seeking legal help.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount I paid and any interest that has accumulated during the time that I thought this company was paying my loans. I would like to be paid for all the trouble caused within the past year by this company defrauding me. The process of closing the account with this person has cost additionally money.
Review: June of 2014 I was contacted via phone by this company stating that they are a federal loan forgiveness program and that they will help me consolidate my student loans and start payment on them while still in school. Each month 220 dollars was taken from my account with the implication that it was going towards my student loans. This however is not the case. Upon graduation the lender Great lakes showed that my total loan amount was never decreased and that they had a different address on file for one in California, I have never lived in California. When I contacted NSP they told me that I was not allowed to cancel the supposed contract until June of 2016. And that if I stopped payment on this account that they would send me to collections and be contacted by an attorney. My big question is where did all of my money go if not towards my student loans. To date they have received 6,820 from me. This company is a scam and should not be allowed to practice any longer.
Reading the other 80+ complaints I should have been smarter in signing up for this.
I also don't want to hear back from the company stating that they properly inform all of there clients because if they did so why do they have so many complaints.
they are rude when you call them direct and they don't try to come to any conclusion and help their clients.Desired Settlement: The desired outcome with this message is a full refund and out of the contract. I am on a very fixed budget and I cannot afford to waste another 220 a month on this rubbish of a company.
Review: NSP told me that I would have one payment to them for my student loan after consolidation. Loans were consolidated. No payments to the Federal Government on behalf. The Federal Government has told me I am in default. NSP tells me to disregard these notices. I have called NSP twice and been told this information twice. I have asked for a Supervisor, none are available. NSP has taken $3,159.00 from my bank account, but nothing has been paid to the Government on my student loans. I found out today (from the Fed. Government Fed. Loan Servicing) that whatever the NSP payments do not cover on my consolidation, I am responsible for. This equates to over $1,000.00 a month because NSP takens $789 and only puts $595 toward my loans. This is NOT what I was told when I signed up for the service. I want this service contract ended without penalty. I want my money back that I have paid, $3,159.00. Avoid this company. Go directly through Fed. Loan Servicing. NSP lies to you to tell you your payments will be lower.Desired Settlement: Refund of $3,159.00 and account ended asap.

They have not tried to reach me. I received one phone call from the same agent I had asked to have a supervisor call me. He told me again that he would have a supervisor call me. Still no call from a supervisor. They were not clear that I would still owe the government on my loans. They said my entire payment would be $789 and that would be it. I asked this repeatedly and was told repeatedly that is all I would owe. They would handle it. Nothing has been paid to the government, the government states I would still owe them the difference of almost $800 a month. Now I'm told only a bit over $500 of that $789 goes toward my loan. I was told there would be two payments to cover the companies fees and that would be all. Now I'm told this is a monthly fee (over $200).
Review: I received an email from them after signing a contract with the Student Loan Group earlier today, stating that they were to manage my student loans from now on.
They are a scam and I do not want them to have my information anymore.Desired Settlement: I want any sort of agreement or contract with these people ended immediately. I will not pay any fee that they charge, and if they still charge me, I will contact the police. I want them to stay away from my Navient account and delete/destroy any information they have of me.

Review: Similar to a complaint that I uncovered today. I have paid money to this company for federal loan consolidation. The original specification was that my loan would be purchased outright from the government and that I would be paying my money direct to this company. This company has since changed the information on the fed loan website and I couldn't access it (Information was changed to prevent my logins) and when a login was attempted it couldn't find the username. So I naturally presumed that it had been paid off and I was paying them. I received a collection call from the government loan agency and was told I was 76 days delinquent for my payment. I have since changed all of my information back but I am going to cancel this contract because no money has been paid for 6 months and prior to I had never missed a payment. 90 days delinquent is the limit for not having your credit score affected and I was told that they would fix it but that it would take 2-4weeks and that I would be supplied a document by them (I cannot trust this will be done). I have no interest in a legal battle but I would like to request to receive my funds back that were never used to pay my loan so that I can continue paying off my student loans and to not be penalized for the rest of the years cost for their service which has not been provided.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my funds back that were never used to pay my loan so that I can continue paying off my student loans and to not be penalized for the rest of the years cost for their service which has not been provided. I would also like to discontinue all services with this company with no financial repercussions.
