WARNING SCAMMED: as many before me has complaint this company misrepresents them self they take your money but don't pay your student loans plus here within this year they have taken out DOUBLE PAYMENTS EACH MONTH and then you have to fight them to get refunded as well as it causes your bank account to go negative and added charges apply because of this double payments.
In August 2014, I was contacted by a company named SLS Managers who said they had information on my student loans, and were able to provide me personal information about my student debt. They offered to consolidate my student debts and it was my understanding that I would make my payments to them, and they would disburse those payment to my federal student loan obligation.
On 08/15/14 I paid an initial deposit, and signed an agreement to the company to begin their services, and continued to make payments monthly from that date forward.
On 08/14/17 upon reviewing my credit history noticed a company that I didn't recognize as servicing my student loans. Upon researching, I found that this company was actually to government run FedLoan Servicing. I attempted to log-in to view my account and see what my balance was, since I had been making payments for several years, and was not able to gain access to an account that was already created using my name and SSN. The security questions, e-mail address, password, address, and phone number did not match any of my real answers. After contacting tech support, validating my identity, and gaining access I saw that my student loan balance had significantly INCREASED although I was paying SLS Managers, what I thought was a loan consolidation company making payments on my behalf.
FedLoan Servicing staff helped me understand that all of the information used was recently updated on my behalf, but none of it was accurate. The e-mail provided by SLS Managers was [REDACTED E-MAIL ADDRESS] and was not created by me. The phone number provided was , a number I've never used and from an entirely different state, and the mailing address they had on file was from the last contact I had with SLS Managers in 2015. I proceeded to check my recurring bank withdrawals and found that "SLS Managers" had changed names to "National Secure Processing," and their website had changed to http://www.nsprocessing.com.
On 08/15/17 I contacted FedLoan Servicing once again to find out what information they had in my file about me. I was informed that I was filed as having 1 dependent, and was married but separated. Neither of those statements were, or have ever been true in my life. I corrected the mis-information, but was told I needed to visit studentloan.gov to get my FSA ID and update the certification information that would allow me to directly pay for my loans and circumvent the fraudulent company. I then contacted the support team for studentloan.gov to begin reclaiming my information on their records.
Next I contacted National Secure Processing. I requested a copy of my agreement, payment history, and to immediately cancel their services. I was told that it was not possible to cancel this contract because the clause requires a request to be made exactly 90 days before renewal. I asked the agent what was the purpose of my payments to them, and she informed me that I was paying for their services, and they had been funds into a trust on my behalf to pay off the debt, but the company was unable to tell me any totals of previous payments I made to them. She added it was a service intended for negotiating lower payments. I asked if she was aware that this is a free service offered by the federal government, and she replied "yes, and we can get you a much lower rate." I pressed to find out what information they had used to file on my behalf and the agent admitted that falsified information about me with the application they submitted on my behalf in order to secure a lower payment amount. Finally after nearly an hour on the phone with National Secure Processing, and after being told they had sent me several e-mail which did not arrive, I was informed that I would need to reply to the e-mail sent to me containing my initial agreement with them, and that would allow them a written request to look into my case, although continuing to state it was not possible to cancel the contract at this time.
I have filed a complaint at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and I highly recommend anyone else involved with this company in any capacity do the same.
I am following up on my previously posted case. After speaking to the Federal Trade Commission, I was informed that others should contact the Consumer Financial Protection Agency as well as the FTC. If enough complaints are filed, we can begin a class action law suit against this company. I have filed my complaints with both agencies and urge you to do the same promptly!
I am buying a house and the loaner needs a copy of the original contract terms from NSP. My husband and l have been asking for it since April 2017. We have spoken to at least 6 different associates and a supervisor who promised to send the information but sent at least 5 letters pertaining everything except the original contract terms. I have spoken to them again on August 10, 2017 and feel as though they're giving me the run around. They told me my loan would be forgiven in 10 years in th beginning and now they said 25 years. I started out paying $249.12 per month now down to $61.00 per month which they have stated that $51.00 is for processing fees. All l need is the Original Contract Terms to be approved for the home loan and they refuse to send it, also they used *** who l was paying and made up a website and password under false pretenses. I NEED HELP!!!!!!
Review: Company called and told me that I qualified for Public Service Forgiveness program. They told me that if I made 120 payments to Student Loans that I could apply to be forgiven for their program. They would also need to consolidate my payments into a low payment. Thinking that I would be paying for my loans, I signed up with them. Recently, after I could not get into my account because it for updating for over a week, I discovered that my payment were $0 for student loans. They were charging me $187 dollars for no money going towards my student loans. Plus it was hard to get into my loan servicer account. I have paid them $1122. Contacted them and cancel and hey are threatening to take me to collections. They now stated that they are a management company and stated that you had to give them a 90 day cancellation notice to not continue their service for the second year but would charge me through December. I have blocked their attempts and sent a cancellation notice, which stated to cease any further payments. I have also contacted the number that they gave to cease any further automatic payments. They read the letter and resent another statement thereafter that stated they would charge my account on the next pay date. In addition, company's address doesn't match up on their documents.Desired Settlement: Company would stop billing me. If possible, I would like a refund of $1122 because I could give that to my student loans. Or the matter remained settled with the balance.

Review: I have made several attempts to get in contact with this company, I thought that I was consolidating my student loans, I made the first payment and set up direct payment monthly from my checking account but I can't get in contact with anyone, when I call it says the office is closed, I've also sent emails with no response, I feel that this company is a scam and if I have to involve my lawyer to weigh in on this I'm prepared to do so.Desired Settlement: Refund and no further contact from this company

Client has been contacted back and was provided the customer service contact information and hours of operation. Client's issues have been addressed at this time.
I had the exact same problem with this company was told that it would be a consolidated payment going towards my student loan and it would be put into an account and at the end of the year they would pay it that's not what happened they were withdrawing $68 a month and when I got a bill from Fed loan A year later ..I called them and asked them why my payments were so much they said they had not received a payment for a year ,that my account was set at zero payments for one year so where did all that money go that was being with drawn from my account? It is a big scam and there are so many people with the same problem .

Response:
This has already been resolved with Ms. [redacted]
Do NOT do business with this company. They sound legitimate and professional, but they will lie to you, scam you, and steal your money. They are dishonest about their fees, and dishonest about where your money is going. They will change your "mailing" address and make a fake email address so you no longer get your mail and information from the actual federal loan company that you originally worked with. They may refund the money they put in your "trust" or "escrow" account if you harass them, but whatever "fees" they take, they will keep. They took almost $1000 dollars from my account, never put any of it toward my school loans, and only refunded me $487. I would never pay anyone that much to manage my loans for 6 months. Don't trust this company. You can refinance your loans right through the government for free, you don't need a management company to do it for you.
Review: I entered a contract with NSP to pay my student loans. I applied for Loan Forgiveness through them as I am a teacher at a Title 1 school. They claim that my application to the Department of Edu was rejected, but could not tell me why. I continually submit information and pay stubs, but there has been updates on my account. I have requested a manager to return my call at least 4 times with no success. I have not received a loan statement from them to ensure my loans are being paid, but nothing has been provided. I am highly concerned that this is a scam, and they are not truly paying my loans.Desired Settlement: I would like documentation that my Loan Forgiveness application has been processed and any rejection letters. I would like monthly loan statements as proof that my loans are indeed being paid. I would like contact from a manager to ensure that my application process is followed appropriately.

Review: The National Secure Processing Company claimed to be able to reduce my Student Loan Debt, lowering my monthly payments from hundreds of dollars to a mere $43 per month. They somehow gained access (this is unclear) to my Federal Student Aid Student loan servicing online account, inserted their contact information, applied for forbearance of my loan, and *claimed* that they would be overtaking all of my debt, and I would pay them instead. They made NO payments on my loans, and instead just collected montly payments automatically from my checking account. I had to make a "stop payment" wiht my bank, and have been in contact with Federal Student Aid. This is not a certified debt reduction company, do not be fooled.Desired Settlement: This corporation needs to be federally tried in court as they are interfering with the federal government student loan processing and payment, claiming to be an official debt reduction service.

Dear "business"
If your company is on the "up and up "you say , then why is it that you can go online and find hundreds and hundreds of people that have been missed lead in the same exact manner and everyone thinking the same thing that the payments are going to their student loan when in reality not one penny goes to your student loan who in their right mind would do that!and I agree with reviewer 1046650 your company is messing with federal student loans and with peoples money hard earned mone!
Review: I cancelled my contract with this so called company on August 15, 2014. On August 26, 2014 the payment of $200.00 was withdrawn from my account by the other so called company they use which then caused me to be overdrawn. So $200.00 plus $34.00. After speaking with this company they said it was [redacted] and vise versa. If this is the type of businesses they are running then they are shady and can't be trusted.Desired Settlement: That this company or the other company refund me the $200.00 plus any overdraft fees since both companies are full of is.

Review: National Secure Processing contacted me in March 2014 and offered me anincome-based student loan repayment plan and after taking my information, told me thathat my new student loan payment would be $68/per month and it could be deducted from my checking account.
That amount was deducted from April 2014 to Nov. 2015 for a total of $1360.. I stopped the auto-pay after learning that [redacted] (onto whose radar I returned because I went back to school fall 2015) hadn't received any student loan payments from me since ) March 2014.
I was contacted by National Secure Processing the week of Jan 11 regarding the stopped payment and asked them for my account informotion since I was puzzled by this and wanted to know where my money was going since [redacted] never got it. A representative named [redacted] told me on Jan 16 that based on my (low) income in March 2014 I didn't owe any student loan payment. I asked him why I was paying $68/month and he informed me that it was for "servicing" of my student loan. I informed him that I neither asked for nor was told that this monthly payment was for anything except my income-based student loan monthly payment.
He then informed me that "some" of that $68 went into "trust" for when the time came that I did owe a student loan payment again. I informed him that I would like a full refund since they misrepresented themselves and withheld information that resulted in my paying for a service that I wasn't aware that I was paying for and that I would have never agreed to, had I known.
He told me to send an email to [email protected] asking that my account be terminated and said that once I did so, a check would be generated and sent to me. I sent that email today and I will await my refund.
Meantime, I am out over $1000 and the amount would have kept on rising had I not enrolled in classes this fall and gotten back in touch with [redacted], and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I would like my full refund of $1360 and to report their scam.Desired Settlement: I want all of the money I paid to National Secure Processing refunded to me: $1360. I also want to report their sneaky scam so other people can have their wrongs righted and so this doesn't happen to any other unsuspecting people who just want income-based student loan payments.

Regards,
Review: I was told that my student Loans were going to be taken care of if I pay this initial fee of $200.00 and then $44.08/ month for so many months my loans would be forgiven, but no payments to my loans were made. All they did was set up an income based program on my behalf which qualifies me for a zero dollar payment for 12 months which I could have done my self if I wanted. I have received nothing in return no loan payments and no paperwork as to how my student loans will actually be getting paid in the future. So now in order to qualify for this home loan I needed some type of proof to show my loans were consolidated and NSP couldn't provide it. I would like a 100% refund for services I didn't receive..I .the amount of $684.00Desired Settlement: Desired settlement is a full refund of $684.00 debited from my bank account.
Review: I was contacted last May by NSProcessing about consolidating my student loans (told I qualified for a Loan Forgiveness Program for being a teacher). I was told I would pay $300 down and $61.63 each month for a year. I wanted to do more research before signing a contract, but I was worn down into signing over the phone, with the promise that I could cancel if uneasy/unsatisfied later. I signed my contract on 5/6/14, my first payment went through on 5/30/14.
I wasn't worried until I did my taxes in February. I needed info on my loan interest but had nothing sent by NSP. I used the link they gave me to access my account, but it said the website did not exist. I finally found the NSP main page and logged on through there, but could not find the info I needed. My consolidation status, however, said it was "pending file creation" which startled me-I had been paying for ten months, so where was my money going? I requested a call and sent an email on their website with my concerns-I never got an email reply and one unknown # called back, but left no message. I tried calling my NSP loan manager, [redacted]--said "the # is no longer in service." The customer service # was the same. I found a # for client services under the name [redacted] and another girl answered. She said I had no need to contact [redacted], they would send me an info email instead, and hung up. I never got an email.
I tried calling and emailing again, finally stating that I wanted to cancel my contract since no one seemed available to address my concerns. I got a call the next day from [redacted] from SLS Managers (another company?) who gave me her direct # for questions. She said my money was put into a trust fund for a year until I renewed in May, and she would email me paperwork explaining the process within 48 hours. It never came. I called her # twice and left messages on her voicemail to call me back, with no reply.Desired Settlement: I do not know who actually holds my contract or my money, or if they are legit. I do not want to work with a company that cannot be reached when I have questions or concerns. My contract states that I can cancel before the Loan Program begins or 90 days prior to contract renewal after Consolidation. As my account is pending file creation and no consolidation has happened, I have no deadline and therefore want my contract cancelled immediately and written verification stating this for my files.
I want my money refunded, as my contract did not say that my money would be put into a trust fund. I paid $61.63 for nine months ($554.67) and $300 down-$854.67 total. I want in writing that this will be refunded to me.
Finally, I want my loans transferred back to the original holders (Sallie Mae et al) or the information given to me in writing so I can contact them and set up payment myself. My loans were not yet consolidated according to my account, so this should be straight forward.

Review: I received a phone call from this company and the first debit from my account was on September 1, 2014. After a couple of months of receiving phone calls from my previous lender about being past due I called National Secure processing and inquired what was taking so long and they stated they contacted my current lender and were waiting on loan terms. Come to find out they had actually filled for a forbearance on my student loans which doesn't help me in interest. After they explained to me that I would get a letter after the christmas holiday I waited until after the new year to call them back. When I called them I continued to get the run around and I received a letter that my payments were not being made to my previous lender. I asked them to call my current lender on a 3 way call because my current lender would not talk to National Secure Processing unless I was on the line. I was put on hold for about ten minutes and the lady gets back on the phone to say the wait time was 30 minutes and I would have to call them myself, although I had already called them. I told her they were [redacted] full of [redacted] and she hung up on me. I called my previous lender right after and got someone on the phone in 3 minutes. I called three times after that, once all of the account managers were in a meeting and the last two times I left a message and no one has returned my phone calls. I left messages stating I wanted to cancel my services with them even though they told me I could not cancel my services during one phone conversation. This is a bogus business and they need to be shut down because they are playing with peoples money and credit.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of all of the months I paid, September 2014-January 2015 and I would like to cancel my services with this company.

Review: Company claimed to be a student debt relief program. They told me I had 26,000 in school loans and lowered it to 5,000. They've been taking about $50 from my bank account every month for a year. Credit report showed nothing had been payed towards my loan and I still owe 26000. I cannot log on to their website to check out payments made or anything because a whole account had been made under my name with made up information by them. I'm a struggling single mom and this is not fair. I would like all my money back that they stole from me and my childrenDesired Settlement: I would like all my money back that they took from me

Review: In order to gain entry into a loan forgiveness program and lower my interest rates on my student loan I have been paying National Secured Processing (aka NSP) to manage my student loans for more than a year starting in June 2014 with the most recent payment being August 2015. Instead of paying my student loan company monthly I was to pay NSP and in turn they would pay a portion of the money I sent them to my lender. I never received monthly statements from NSP showing my loan balances or any allocation of funds paid to my student loans. Whenever I logged in to my NSP account it only showed that my loans were still in the “consolidation” process. I never received monthly statements nor did I receive any information on the allocation of the funds that I was paying them monthly. I found out early August 2015 when checking my credit report and found a delinquent account report from my lender that NSP had not paid any money to my lender. When I called NSP I was never given a clear answer and a representative told me that she would look in to it and get back to me but never did. A few days later after getting in contact with my lender directly I discovered that NSP had set up an account in my name on my student loan lender’s system with a fake email and mailing address.Desired Settlement: I want National Secure Processing to pay back, in full, all $984.46 that I paid to them since July as they did not provide the service that they promised. I also believe that they should pay the interest which capitalized onto my student loans as a result of their mishandling of my account. I think this business has a responsibility to be honest with their clients and transparent in their handling of student loan accounts. Monthly statements showing the amount paid and student loan balances should be furnished to all of their clients. The only thing available in their portal when a client logs on is a schedule of payments to be made, but that is not sufficient to show a client how their money is being paid (or not paid in this case) to their student loan balances.

Review: NSP advertised their company as a student loan consolidation firm. They falsely informed me they would consolidate my loans, make the payments to the fedloan servicing company for me. They have taken $4793.52 from me, on a monthy autopay schedule, and have NEVER PAID any money on my student loans. They informed me there was a small INITIAL fee to start up the consolidation and that was the only FEE of THEIRS. I have discovered they gained access to my loans, applied for MULTIPLE forbearances on my behalf, WITHOUT my knowledge. Supposedly placed all the money in a "trust" account. They are rude when I call, hang up on me, state they will call back and do not, told me they would email me my electronic contract I signed (which I have never received), informed me my account will be closed & money refunded. I have NOT heard back, received any of my funds, and [redacted], & [redacted] have all stated they will return my calls, with my information. THEY LIE. THEY FALSELY REPRESENT WHAT THEY DO, FEES THEY CHARGE, THEY HAVE CAUSED MY LOANS TO BE BEHIND OVER TWO YEARS IN PAYMENTS & USE MY MONEY AS THEIR OWN!!!!!! THEY CHANGED MY PERSONAL INFORMATION IN THE FEDLOAN SYSTEM TO THEIR ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBERS, AND EVEN CHANGED MY PASSWORDS. I happen to receive a letter from fedloan stating my account was delinquent!! [redacted] LIED & stated their company NEVER placed forbearances on my account!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want a FULL REFUND OF my money in its entirety!!! Either to myself or to the fedloan corportaion on my account like promised in the "contract".

Review: I was contacted by National Secure Processing (NSP) in October of 2014 and informed that they worked with the U.S. Department of Education and they were there to assist in getting individuals accepted to the loan forgiveness program. I was told that based on my information and where I worked that I would most likely qualify. I was told they would enroll me in the program and send me information in order to continue with the application process. I was told that based on the information I provided I would submit a payment of $365.15 monthly until my application was fully completed and that this would be my monthly student loan payment. They began debiting my account monthly for this amount and I had absolutely no communication from them after that point. I had called several times to check on my status and essentially got the run a round. I asked two times to be sent log in information in order to view this process and I never did. I had sent an application form to the US Department of Education and actually received information from them that I was accepted (for a zero dollar a month payment for 12 months based on my income and profession) but NSP had continued to withdraw money from my account monthly. When I called NSP to discuss this they were unable to answer my questions, told me that my contract was through June 28th, 2015 and that I had to write them a letter to get out of the program. After visiting this site I see that these are most likely tactics to keep debiting my account. I have payed them 6 times of the amount 365.15 with a total of $2,190.90. This company is totally misleading the public as to the services they provide. They are essentially a third party company that charges students significant amounts of money that is masked as a loan payment that actually never goes to the loan holder. I have called the company that currently holds my student loans ([redacted]) and they have never received a payment from NSP. This company is corrupt!Desired Settlement: I expect this company to return the money that I submitted to them for the past 6 months. When I called them they indicated that out of the $365.56 monthly payment only $288.38 was being held in their "trust" and that the remainder $77.18 was a processing fee. I am willing to have them keep my $77.18 monthly for a total of $463.08 as a processing fee but the remaining $1,730.28 should be returned into my account that it was debited from. I also want my account cancelled with this company and this company to stop all withdrawals.
