I used their website (myflightsearch.com) to book a flight with *** Airlines. *** Airlines told me the flight was canceled. It was the incorrect information, due to ***'s error, my money was refunded to myflightsearch.com corporate card used to book my ticket. In turn, the money was supposed to refunded to my credit card used to book the flight. I received emails from *** stating that the money was refunded to my flight search.com. Within 7 business day, my flight search is supposed to put the money back on my card. Nothing happened. I have been calling my flight search for days using several different numbers, I'm placed on hold the hunged up on. All I want is my money back. $321.90

Cliff came through! I had a LOT of worries with this buy and attempting to recover my cash in the wake of perusing the majority of the audits and I was blowing a gasket. The first individuals I managed were discourteous and appeared to be uninterested in getting my circumstance fixed. Notwithstanding, Cliff was very helpful!!! She had the option to get me my undoing email affirmation and my cash is now back on my card just 24 hours after it posted.

It was easy to book my flight to CA. Price found better support on phone was also good.

FAKE company they will steal your money !!

Myflightsearch acknowledged via email that the flight is booked and my card has been charge. A week later, they told me it was cancelled.
On July 2, we booked a flight and we received an email from myflightsearch.com acknowledging confirmation (cfm # was provided), that the flight has been booked and the card has been charged. A week later (July 10), they emailed me that the reservation has been cancelled. When I called to verify why it was cancelled, they told me because the fare that I booked is no longer available.

Desired Outcome

My desired resolution is 1. they have to correct the verbage they use (booked and charged?) 2. if the fare is no longer available, they have to notify passenger within 24hours 3. they should close this business - they shld not be allowed to do this to people. We don't have any other option but to search for new ticket and end up paying double what we were initially hoping to pay.

my flight search emailed A WEEK later that the reservation has been cancelled due "Your booking is cancelled as fare expired by airline." THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. At the very least, they should have notified us within 24hours.

We found that the process was not followed in this case and it was an error on our part. Your card was not charged for the booking and later the reservation was cancelled.

From the get go, I want them to acknowledge that they did not notify me in a timely manner.

We booked a flight for 4 and when we received the email confirmation the dates were wrong. Tried to contact company and they would not help us. Fraud
We booked a flight for 4 to Cabo Mexico for July 8-15 , 2019 for $1919.18. May 29th and when we received the email on May 30th the dates were changed to July 9-18. We received only a confirmation after we booked of the cost of $1919.18 and a confirmation number but no flight info. Myflightsearch changed the flight reservations after we booked it. Tried to call my flight search that night and was told that there was no one to make changes to reservation for flights and I would need to call back the next morning at 9am . Well in the fine print you can only make changes to reservation within that 24 period and this would put us out of the window. Called at 9am May 31st and spoke with John at 5013 and he stated that we booked a flex flight? John further in the conversation said that they would help us make the changes to the reservation with no fees but there may be airlines fees. We had to call back and when I called back and asked for John at Ex 5013 the customer service representative said that he did not exist . I then proceeded to talk to the representative and told us that we would need to pay $1400 to change the reservation because our flights were non transferable and non refundable. They also stated because we booked online it was our fault because we booked online. They would not help us even though we were told that we could make changes with no fees that was a total lie. We also called American Airlines that the flight was booked with stated that they could not help us because we booked through a third party myflightsearch we would need to contact them. Which we explained to the airline and again they could not help us. Myflightsearch fraudulently changed our dates after we booked and said that those flights were no longer avail. We have called our credit card and filled a fraud claim as stated above. It is still under review with my credit card. In the mean time we needed to book another flight through another airline which we booked directly though them. For another $2,400

I would like them to take responsibility for changing our flight without our consent and we want a refund of $1919.18 from them.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to Mr. D on this occasion. On May 29th, 2019, the customer visited our website and made a search for 4 passengers, from ***O to ***. Out of all the options presented, the customer chose the flights with *** Airlines, departing on July 9th, 2019, returning on July 18th, 2019.

All the flights details and terms and conditions were provided and recapped on the website. The customer seemed to be satisfied with itinerary and price, hence, went ahead to book and confirm the reservation. The flight was booked for 4 passengers and email confirmation was sent at [email protected]. The booking number was 237801. The total price advised on the website was $1,196.00, including taxes and fees and was agreed by the customer. Later tickets were also issued and emailed at the given email address. There was no human intervention from our side in the booking process.

We received a call from the customer on May 31st and June 1st, 2019, to cancel the booking and get full refund. As per the fare rules of *** Airlines, our representative advised that the booking is non-refundable. Our representative also advised that we can change the dates with airline penalty and applicable fare difference. The standard change fee for *** Airlines is $200 per passenger. Mr. D called us on later dates as well but was advised on all occasions that the booking is non-refundable. As a gesture of goodwill, a refund of $100 was also processed to his card on July 4th, 2019. We repeatedly advised Mr. D that we are unable to process the full refund as the airline fare rules do not permit so.

Like all other leading travel websites and search engines, our website also provides flexible options, to help our customers save on air fare. The flexible options include flexible travel dates and/ or nearby airports. All such flexible options our clearly highlighted with the flexibility provided in such option. It also shows the saving as compared to the regular option. This is also highlighted on the next page, where the customers enter the passenger and card details. It is a customer's choice to book the flight most suitable to them.

The website also advises free cancellation within 24 hours of making reservation but we were never contacted within that time-frame. Had we been contacted within 24 hours of making the reservation, we could have canceled the reservation for full refund. After this time limit was exhausted the ticket became non-refundable, as per airline rules.

First of all we did not file a complaint against *** Airlines we filed a complaint against myflightsearchcom com that has been suspended from the Revdex.com for bad practices this company sent the confirmation number 36 hours after we booked the flight and they changed the dates of the flight this is an ongoing problem with this company as you know even though *** Airlines is contracted out with this company they do not want to take responsibility for their actions we had to book another flight through United Airlines because of this I have been consistently warning people on the internet about myflightsearchcom com and their business practices there is no doubt the end result is this company ripped us off and we have nothing to show for it

Please be advised that the reservation was made on May 29th, in the evening and the e-ticket was sent on the morning of May 30th, 2019. The email confirmation also clearly advised that the booking is non-refundable. We would like to reiterate that the reservation was made online and the flight option chosen was by the customer himself. The option chosen the customer was ticketed without any change.

We received a call from Mr. D, on July 7th, 2019. Since the booking was non-refundable, we were unable to process refund of the booking. As a gesture of goodwill, a refund of $100.00 was processed to Mr .Daker's Visa card ending in 0524, on July 7th, 2019. We appreciate that this may not be the response that Mr. Daker is looking for, but we are unable to process refund of non-refundable reservation, against airline's fare rules.

I booked a flight and canceled the flight sincethey changed the dates when they booked. I recieved an email saying I won't be charged but Iwas charged
June 27,2019 I booked a flight and immediately canceled it when I realized they booked the wrong dates for me. I recieved an email saying I won't be charged but Sunday(nonbusiness day) June 30,2019 I was charged for tyr flight. I told them I needed the money back right away because I shouldn't have even been charged. He told me it would take 48-72 business hours but after reading complaints here I asked him if he's sure it won't take 1-2 billing cycles and he then informed me it could.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund now since they could take the money out during nonbusniess hours so they can return it during nonbusniess hours too. I will suffice for a refund by tomorrow, Monday, but this is unacceptable.

Booked a trip and they cancelled it and they will not refund us the $3200.
We booked a trip in Oct/18 with Flight Search/TravelAvion (same company). They cancelled it in Dec/18. They did not notify us to tell us they cancelled it. We just happen to call Air Canada to check the flight status Ann found out that it was cancelled. We have called and they keep telling us they refunded us in Dec/18. I have contacted Visa centre and verified that there is no refund. I have called the company at least 15 times and get a different story. They have also hung up on me several times. I want my $3200 back, it is my money and they have no right keeping it.

Please accept our sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused to Ms. K on this occasion. Ms. K had called us on October 17th, 2018 and made a reservation from *** to *** and return, for 2 passengers, departing on August 10th, 2019. Her tickets were issued and emailed to her at that time.

Ms. K called us on June 14th, 2019 and notified that her reservation is cancelled and also that she spoke to the airline and they advised her that travel agent cancelled the reservation. We had got the tickets issued through one of our consolidators in the month of October, who is no longer associated with us. We suspect that the consolidator cancelled this reservation as when contacted them for a resolution, we did not receive any favorable response.

While we seek the assistance of our legal team to resolve this matter with our consolidator, we will not keep Ms. K waiting for her refund. We are issuing a check for the refund - US $2387, which is the amount charged for her reservation. The details of the check are as below:

They told me that they were sending a cheque and I told them that we were advised by the legal department of Visa Centre that we are not to take a cheque as there is a dispute pending. By me accepting a cheque it will mess up the legal actions with Visa. They can put a stop payment on the cheque and how do I know if their cheque is worth anything? Flight Search is the company that debited our Visa and I want them to Credit the funds back to my Visa. I do not trust this company.
As far as the other company that they are talking about they are still in business. I also have a recorded phone call with them and they said that they are one in the same company.
They have been telling us a different story every time we call them, they have been constantly lying to us.
I have been given legal advise by Visa not to accept a cheque only a credit so I am going by what they are telling me. I am only asking for what is owing to me. Flight Search stole my money and they can return it then they can deal with the other company. I did not give them aurhorization to book with or cancel another company.

Good morning Adelina, I am currently on the phone to Visa Centre and it looks like I got my money credited to my account FINALLY! Funny how they can suddenly credit my Visa while all along they kept telling me that they could not do that. The only reason it was credited was due to the dispute. Their bank contacted them and they had to approve the transaction. They had no cause to dispute it.
The story about them sending me is a cheque is another one of their lies as to date I still have not received it and it has been three weeks now. They say they have put a stop on the cheque and they want me to send it back, well......if I receive a cheque I am "NOT" spending another cent on this company, I will put the cheque in my shredder. There is nothing I can do with it once they have put a stop payment on it anyway. Besides I do not want a cheque from a Company that stole from me in the first place. Would you take a cheque from this Company after all that they have done to me and hundreds of other people?
This Company should pay for all that they have done to people. They should not be allowed to be in business, they are just "THIEVES" praying on people. Trust me I will get the word out about these people, I will try my best to prevent others from going through what we have been through

I booked a flight online with this company and then cancelled it immediately. It has been over 3 months and I have still not have my $407.42 returned!
My reference # is ***. I booked a flight on March 2nd from ***. Our plans changed and I had to cancel the flight, but this was done almost immediately after I booked it. I have called this company 7 times and e-mailed them 4 times to try to get my refund. Some times I have been told that my refund is coming and just wait another 72 hrs. Other times when I have asked to speak to a supervisor, I am left on hold for ever then the line goes dead. I have been to their website (myflightsearch.com) and read their cancellation policies and can find no reason for them not returning my money. They advertise a full refund if you cancel within 24 hrs. I cancelled within 1 hr. They try to get away with this by saying that if you booked with a discount airline, you are not eligible for a refund. Then they list all of the airlines that fall under this category. Mine was not listed. (***) is not a discount airline anyway. I sent this company over $400 U.S. for less then 1 hr., they performed no service for me. Putting my money back on my card would take a matter of seconds. It's obvious to me now that they just have no intention of returning my money.

I had contacted them by phone 7 times and sent 3 e-mails to get my money returned and every time I was told to wait 72 more hrs. They finally returned my money only after going through the Revdex.com. I will never deal with this company again. Their response this time said that they had now "investigated my complaint" !!!! I have been complaining for over 3 months !! I have my money back, thank you Revdex.com. I'm sure without your help they would never have returned my money.

On 5/16/19 My mother purchased tickets from My Flight Search via online. Dates were incorrect. No refund Issued. We were over charged for new flight.
On 5/16/19 My mother purschased tickets via online through My Search for *** flights from ***. My mother was informed that she selected the wrong dates. My mother denies putting in the wrong dates and asked me *** to resolve the matter with the travel agency to issue refund. I *** contacted the travel agency and was informed that I could not be issued an refund, but that I could exchange ticket at current fair cost. I agreed (not mother) to switch flight to *** for regular air fare (confirmation number ***) I was charged 636, however they paid *** 503.00. I never received my e ticket and after several complaints I was finally issued my confirmation number. I read reviews online and individuals reports company as scam. My flight is current as of today, but reviews report that the agency has a history of cancelling your flight prior to departure. I contacted *** who informed me that the travel agency paid with check not with credit card and to dispute transaction with bank. I have disputed transaction with bank and have to wait 12 weeks for possible refund.

Thank you for the opportunity to clarify the situation. The customer made a reservation on our website on May 16th, 2019 and made reservation for departure on July 2nd, 2019, with ***. The booking number was ***. *** called the same day to make changes. Our representative was unable to make changes and offered to cancel this reservation and make a new one with the required dates. The online reservation was cancelled without any charge. As per the customer's request, a new reservation was made under booking number ***, and flight was booked for departing on July 5th, 2019, returning on July 7th, 2019, with ***.

The reservation was for 2 passengers - ***
The customer was sent an email to check if all the details were correct and to click on "I Acknowledge" button, if all was in order. The email advised the following points:
1. Names of the passengers
2. Itinerary
3. Total charges
4. Last 4 digits of the card that was being used for payment
5. The card may be charged in multiple transactions, amounting to the total charge advised.
6. Terms and conditions of the booking, including that the bookings is non-refundable and non-transferable.

We also advised the customer that by clicking on "I Acknowledge" button, we will receive an authorization from him that all the details are correct and a go ahead for the charge. The customer clicked on the button and gave the authorization, which also captured the IP address of the device from where authorization was given. The copy of the authorization is attached below.

An e-ticket confirmation was also sent to the customer which again advised the terms and conditions, including that the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The customer sending us a confirmation email is a proof itself that the customer was happy with the itinerary and accepted the charges and gave the authorization by reading and accepting the flight details by sending the email.

The flight reservation is still confirmed for the passengers. We have attached a document with screenshots of confirmation received, airline website showing confirmed reservation and also the copies of email sent to the customer.

We will not be able to process refund of a non-refundable reservation as the rules of a ticket are governed by the airlines. As a travel agent we are unable to modify the rules of a ticket. We apologize to *** for inconvenience caused on this occasion.

I *** not *** authorized this transaction. *** did not give permission for transactions anyway. Also we did not receive an itinerary until the next business day. *** was issued a check our ticket was not charged by credit. I was over charged by $100 + dollars. We want our money back

Pretty sure this travel agency is a scam, they still haven't sent me my ticket and I bought it two days ago, I have called 15 times and they tell me they sent it. And still nothing.. 400 dollars wasted. Tried to cancel, but they said it was non refundable of course. None of them speak very good English. I do not recommend at ALL. *** service, plus they won't make it right. I'm reporting them to the Revdex.com. Oh and they keep sending spam mail to my email but no ticket, so I have no flight info at all.

Thought I booked a flight through *** website. Ended up booking with MyFlightSearch.com.
Cancelled flight but have not rec'd promised refund.
Booked flight April 4th, 2019 with what I thought was *** website. Got redirected to MyFlightSearch.com
On April 4th I received an email saying that flight was confirmed.
On April 5th I received an email saying flight was not confirmed. I immediately contacted them via phone and cancelled flight.
On April 5th I received an email saying they would refund my money.
To date (April 19th) they have not refunded my money.
Have called customer service 4 times with 3 of the calls being answered. However, each time they cite a differnet return policy...."awaiting supervisor's approval". "10-15-20 busy days to refund". "2 business cycles" which equates to 2 months according to the person I spoke with.
Very frustrating and now they won't pick up the phone.

Desired Outcome

I'm seeking the value of the ticket which I cancelled and they agreed to refund to my *** $678.72 ***.

Failure to pay refund for service never performed i.e., a name change on an airline ticket that they charged $400.00 to complete.
Booking #*** on 12/2/2018 ***

Paid $400 for name correction on airline ticket. Went to check in and change was never completed. Ticket agent made the change at the airport...luckily. Have been fighting with Flight Search Inc for refund for over one year. Everytime I call they say it is in process and will be completed in a week. Never happens. Have spoken with billing dept and customer service managers who all promise it is in the works. Total scam....delay delay delay until I give up.

I tried to book flights for business through ***. I was somehow redirected to Flight Search but didn't realize it. Overpaid and no tickets
After being redirected to Flight Search through ***, I booked a ticket from *** and return. In checking *** statement, records didn't match what was on the receipt. I called to find all tickets are in US dollars. They will not refund. I was not sent the tickets so I called and was able to confirm only my flight to ***. Flight back to *** was not processed as the ticket price went up. I declined increasing the price and cancelled the return. I never booked through them.

Desired Outcome

I don't think it is right to have to pay in US dollars since I never actually booked through their site.

The booking numbers were *** and ***. Booking number *** was booked from ***, departing on April 7th, 2019 and the booking number *** was for the return flight, departing on April 11th, 2019.

All the flights details and terms and conditions were provided and recapped on the website. The customer seemed to be satisfied with itinerary and price, hence, went ahead to book and confirm the reservation. The total price advised for the reservations was $222.27 and $171.35, respectively, including taxes and fees and was agreed by the customer. There was no human intervention from our side in the booking process.

We are a US registered company with no office in ***. We only charge in US Dollars. We have attached the screenshots of the emails, which shows that the price mentioned was in US Dollars.

Due to technical reasons, ticket was not issued for the booking number *** and the customer's card was also not charged. We received a call from the customer on April 4th, 2019, to cancel the booking and get full refund. Since the ticket was not issue for booking number ***, we cancelled the booking, without any charge. As per the fare rules of ***, our representative advised that the booking *** is non-refundable, since the ticket was issued on March 28th itself.

The website also advises free cancellation within 24 hours of making reservation but we were never contacted within that time-frame. Had we been contacted within 24 hours of making the reservation, we could have canceled the other reservation also for full refund. After this time limit was exhausted the ticket became non-refundable, as per airline rules.

While part of what the business is true, it is inaccurate as well. I had no idea I was even on the myflight search webpage as I went to ***. In looking the business reviews up afterward, there were countless complaints that were similar to mine and not just in regards to booking on ***. They were all redirected. My flight to ***. was confirmed as was the flight to return to *** but I never did receive a e-ticket until I called and questioned them. When I asked about my return flight, they said it did not go through and redirected me and said it didn't go through as the prices had gone up and would I like to continue to booking. If I had a confirmation email, it should have not gone up so yes I cancelled. I actually only found out that I didn't have the return ticket when I called *** directly. I have no idea how I was redirected to My Flight Search but it makes absolutely no sense that I would have booked through them- a US company for a 1.5 hour flight in ***.

I am due a refund for a flight that was cancelled due to weather. I should have never been charged to re-book in the first place.
I have contacted this company over 10 times and continue to be lied to about the refund process. Every time I talk to them I am told the refund is being processed and they will send an email. They have never sent an email and continue to lie to me about why they havn't sent one. I ask for names when I call but when I call back those people are "no longer working for the company." I have looked up reviews and there are many others that have written about the same experience.

I finally received my refund after months of trying. I'm not sure if they processed it because I filed this complaint, but the refund seemed to take way too long.

I used myflightsearch.com to book a flight for Sunday April 7. I clicked the first flight listed and didn't know the date changed.
I purchased the flight on 3/5/2019. I put in the search for April 7, 2019. The first option was for a flight at 7:25pm and I purchased it. I've never used this website before and didn't know they give you alternate days. I checked into my cruise on March 17 and it asked for flight info. April 7 on *** at 7:25pm wasn't an option from ***. I pulled up my flight itinerary today to see if I had the wrong airline and see that the date is for a flight April 9. I called to cancel and they said they only refund within 24 hours. The website was NOT at all clear that they had switched dates. I just clicked the first flight that was listed. This was my first and last time using this website. How can they switch the days and not be clear on what I'm paying $263 for and then not refund the money. I am trying to cancel 3 weeks in advance.

I want my money back so that I can book another flight home for my daughter and I. I don't have $263 to throw away because a shady website doesn't make it clear that they switched the days on me. I usually book thru *** and you have to check a box that you are acknowledging if a flight is overnight and lands after midnight. Later tickets were also issued and emailed at the given email address. There was no human intervention from our side in the booking process.

We received a call from the customer on March 18th, 2019, to cancel the booking and get full refund. As per the fare rules of ***, our representative advised that the booking is non-refundable. The customer spoke to a supervisor also who advised once again that the fare is non-refundable.

Like all other leading travel websites and search engines, our website also provides flexible options, to help our customers save on air fare. The flexible options include flexible travel dates and/ or nearby airports. All such flexible options our clearly highlighted with the flexibility provided in such option. It also shows the saving as compared to the regular option. This is also highlighted on the next page, where the customers enter the passenger and card details. It is a customer's choice to book the flight most suitable to them.

The website also advises free cancellation within 24 hours of making reservation but we were never contacted within that time-frame. Had we been contacted within 24 hours of making the reservation, we could have canceled the reservation for full refund. The problem with the website is that it is VERY unclear. Nothing was highlighted that they SWITCHED THE DAY as to what I was trying to book. I clearly searched for flight on Sunday April 7 and purchased the first flight that popped up. Had I realized the website shows you cheapest flights on alternate days, I would have never booked it. I never realized it was for an alternate day until I checked in to my cruise a couple weeks later and that flight wasn't available on Sunday April 7. I went back to my booking and it was then that I realized my flight was for an alternate day. This is very misleading when you search for a day and the website gives you alternate days. There is nothing highlighted, there is no box to check that you understand you are booking something that you did NOT search for. They trick you into buying something and then say "sorry, it's not refundable". That is not right! I had to turn around and spend another $358 for a flight home and would like my money refunded from this company that tricks people into purchasing flights as they switch the days on what you search for. Had I searched for those days and booked a flight that was nonrefundable is one thing, but for me to have NEVER searched for flights on Tuesday April 9, I was baited and switched into purchasing that flight. I still called more than 2 weeks prior to the flight and those seats could have been canceled and sold to someone else. My complaint is that this website is misleading. Im sure Im not the only person to have booked tickets for a flight I didn't search for. Theres no way this should be allowed to switch days and not make it clear that THEY SWITCHED the day!

Again...my problem is that this website is very misleading with the bait and switch on days. I acknowledge the fact that other website offer alternate days IF you check a box that says youre willing to travel on alternate days. *** website makes you click a box if the plan lands one minute after midnight showing that you understand it lands the following day. There is a green box at the bottom for "book now" and a green box at the top. Who is reading all of this when they are wanting to book a flight for specific dates that they searched for? I believe I am due a refund due to the misleading nature of this website. I'm sure this happens to many customers daily when they search for specific dates and book the first thing that pops up. This is bait and switch tactics that need to be changed as it is very misleading to the consumer.
