This company I believe has taken advantage of me. I am mentally disabled and on a fixed low income. They said they would help me and get my student loan payment lowered. It’s bogus! The real loan serviced said they have received zero from them in years even though they charge me 61 .$ a month for my payment. The real federal loan services dais this is a scam and my payment owed is zero per month. The company mission hills keeps the entire 61$ Monthly payment for themselves. They act like they were helping me!! I owe more money now than before and they have collected my payment for over two years! They didn’t help me st all. Just manipulated me into thinking they were helping me. I thought they worked for the government as well!

Mission Hills Federal is supposed to be a 3rd party assistance with student loan management. Initially my account was active with National Secure processing of 6A Liberty · Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, however on Jan 2018 I was informed Mission Hills Federal was now servicing my contract. For the past 2 years I had been paying $61 monthly to this company who would in turn send the payment to my loan provider, Fedloans. After speaking with Fedloans to access my tax information, I was informed that they had not received a payment from me since 2017. I contacted Mission Hills Federal today and was informed that only $10 of my $61 was going toward my loan and that it was not being sent to my lender and instead into a "trust" since I had no payments due with my lender. When I requested my payments I made be returned to me or be directly sent to my lender, I was told that they would not be sent because I still had an active contract with them until July 2019. I was also informed that if I cancelled payments now, the $61 per month would be taken from the money I paid for my loan and then upon contract completion, the remainder would be sent to my lender. This feels like I am being forced to pay fees for services I am not receiving if no payments are being made to my lender. I was also told that my account would go into collections for remainder of the monthly fees.

I have been a client with Mission Hills Federal since November of 2014. Mission Hills Federal is, to my knowledge, a third party student loan debt management company. I signed up for their services because I was offered student loan forgiveness. I was lead to believe that a portion of these payments would be payments on these student loans. I have recently discovered that no payments have been made on my student loans. I don't know where the money is going because I cannot access my account with Mission Hills Federal, I have tried to resolve the issue of account access with customer service representatives, but it has been fruitless. I have checked with my student loan providers and they have confirmed that no payments coming from Mission Hills Federal have been made on my behalf. Also, none of my student loans have been forgiven and no communication has been made about efforts to resolves my student loans. I believe that I have been defrauded in the amount of approximately, $3,050.00. I also recently found out that they have been fraudulently reporting my income as $0 and putting my loans in forbearance instead of making any payments on them. I have a document from Mission Hills that states they are making payments on my loans, but the department of education has confirmed no payments have been made. I now owe over $580 per month for never making payments on my loans.

Zero stars! These people have my address and my banking info! It’s terrible. They haven’t made one payment to my student loans! I contacted the police for report and also attorney general of California where I live! I had to cancel my checking account. It’s a hassle for sure! They are aware I reported them and I have surveillance on my home just in case. I was ripped off since 2015 and it’s 2019 in a few days! I paid some it $61 a month for absolutely nothing! It’s terrible! This company is fake. They need to be found out about! Don’t fall for it please!
