Review: I would NEVER, NEVER, EVER, use this product again. I'm very angry about this whole mess.

We were short boards because of the size misrepresented. I had to reorder so they didn't match. They had samples in the store. When we ordered the light color, we were very specific that we knew it would be too hot to walk on if it were a dark color. Our friend had ordered it several years ago and said to order a light color for that reason. We ordered that lighter color.

[redacted] said that nowhere in their literature does it say "the colors will match". We ordered a very light color & got a dark chocolate brown!! Too hot to walk on and we can't even use our deck till the sun is down for a few hours. I called several times to get a product matching issue taken care of, & was refused by [redacted], to talk to anyone. [redacted] said everything must go through customer relations, in writing, so that all correspondences were documented. We spent $17,000 on a COASTAL CEDAR FUSION ULTRADECK decking & patio project. [redacted] further stated that we should have gone to their website to look into this product THEN go to the store and apply them where applicable. She stated the variation is normal. I have pictures that prove it isn't even close to being "variable".

The board sizes are misrepresented. They boards that say are 6" are actually 5-1/4". That's a lot to lose in 250 square feet. The caps don't fit. When you reorder items--the colors don't match at all. Not only that, our deck boards are three different colors of the same "color style". Different dye lots & such. They also do not tell you that the boards shrink, in length, 3/4" to1-1/2" in the heat. The boards have to be cut so they are very snug in length & in cooler mornings or evenings so they don't gap. No literature says this anywhere. There was no problem with the installation. Just with the colors, size, & fittings. I have pictures, receipts, etc. as proof of this problem. We are not asking too much.

I am very dissatisfied with this company and their lack of customer service & care, as well.Desired Settlement: At least 30% of our money back on the price of the ULTRADECK materials.

These unique elements, crea ted by the extrusion manufacturing process, give each Ultra Deck

Fusion deck board an individual look while maintaining a consistent strength and durability for

a long-lasting, beautiful deck.

With each board having its own individual look, it is important to add this consideration in to

the deck layout. You may wish to place a few rows of deck boards out prior to fastening so

you can adjust this unique and random pattern if desired. The more random and blended the

layout, the more natural the deck will look, giving it the visual depth that is found in many

popular and much more expensive hardwood exotics, while still having the consistent strength

and durability that Ultra Deck composites offer. This is mentioned in our installation guide as

well as proper installation to allow for expansion and contraction of the material (see enclosed

installation instructions).

Fusion is designed with the end goal being a deck of blended character with no two boards

being exactly alike, meaning that color and visual depth variations are intended.
