We have received the above referenced complaint and appreciate the opportunity to respond.  Our investigation has determined the problem did not occur due to any negligence on the part of Delta Sonic.  As shown by the attached photo, the area in which the key was placed was clean and dry....

 Furthermore, the key was tested multiple times by the Supervisor and a [redacted] Police Officer, and each time the key functioned properly.  If the complainant can forward a diagnosis to our office, directly relating the issue with the key fob to our service, we will authorize reimbursement.

Our records indicate repairs were completed at Midway Dodge, and paid for in full by Delta Sonic.  Although we cannot offer any type of monetary compensation, we would be happy to have complimentary Delta Sonic Gift Cards mailed to the complainant for any inconvenience caused.

We would like to further investigate this matter. &n**p;In order to do so, we will require some additional information. &n**p;Please respond with the Delta Sonic location the service was performed at so that we may review with the personnel involved. &n**p;

Delta Sonic is not an insurance carrier and is self insured.  Unfortunately, we cannot process any sort of reimbursement without a receipt.

Please return to the location at your convenience to file a claim.  Once the claim is filed, our office can conduct and investigation.

Spoke to the area manager, he told me there is no way the damage could have been caused when my car was dried. He was not there to see my car go through the wash undamaged and see me leave the lot with my vehicle scratched.  I know the damage occurred when the female dried my car, I dont know if she did it maliciously or if the towel she used had debris. If Delta Sonic had a reliable camera system they could have easily viewed my car before and after and seen that the damage was caused there. He lied and stated the towels are changed regularly, thats a lie I have had my car dried with a dirty towel on more than one occasion, forcing me to go back through the wash.

While this is a Delta Sonic we've never been to because it's far from our home, I do expect the damage to be taken care of according to the estimate we provided. To say that there is absolutely no way that this could have happened at their business is an untrue statement. No place is and no one is above accidents happening. That's why we have precautions and insurance for those unforeseen and unexpected occurrences. I wish we weren't in a hurry to get to our doctors office and that we were healthy enough to stay and deal with this stuff. We showed our Sonic here in our area. We also have seen that there have been other very similar complaints online. It seems to me from looking into those complaints, that Sonic is getting away with not taking care of their customers and tell them they will see you in claims court and you'd better get a lawyer! I have never been treated so badly at any business! I know, that I know, that I know, that the scratches all over my vehicle are from the car wash. The scratches are long, not able to be buffed out and my front passenger window needs to be replaced. It is very upsetting to me to feel like there is no one with any integrity anymore and to be spoken to in a rude manner. Something happened to my car in the wash, I reported it and get treated as though I'm imagining it. Please, someone do the right and honest thing.  Regards,   [redacted]

We fully understand the customers concerns and have carefully considered this complaint. As per the attached waiver, signed by the customer, "Delta Sonic accepts no responsibility for runs or cracks during the repair process.  Should the chip spread after completion, Delta Sonic will repair, or...

apply repair cost credit toward the replacement of the windshield."  We have issued a refund for the chip repair in the amount of $49.95.  The refund check will be sent directly to the customer and should be received within 7-10 business days.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is not completely satisfactory to me.  But, since it is hard for this business to give refunds,  I have decided to just accept their gift card offer.  Instead of losing my hard earned money to them.I used the service 1x this month because they have a 2week guarantee anyways on their Carwash.  It is written on their receipt.  And, another thing is because I could not get hold of them over the phone, I ended up getting a Carwash.Thank you very much.

Revdex.com:   I'd like my membership as well as my fiance's extended through the rest of this year at the introductory rates!Also even tho I should have taken a picture/videos of the premises to prove it there was NO sign of any kind stating different business hours, there may have been a possibility it was on the door in small letters & numbers but I didn't have a reason to go into the actual mart seeing as though the gas station was under construction with all gas pumps removed & area being gated off.

It was very unprofessional and unfair to us because we now have to wait to find out if we can get the information from the man who rear ended us. We hope that if they cannot help us with that, they should be the one's who help pay for the damage as they were giving poor directions and had all the cars follow too close behind. We shouldn't be treated carelessly at a car wash and should not have had to deal with this.

Complaint [redacted] - resolved, thank you

Our records indicate the complainant met with our District Manager on 6/6/15.  The complainant was shown video evidencing the damage was present prior to the Car Wash.  In the interest of customer goodwill, an authorization for a courtesy buff was also mailed to the customer.  Once the customer receives the authorization letter, the appointment can be made with the Detail Shop.

Thank you for contacting us.  According the the notes with the customer's claim, our Repair Dept. was able to contact the customer.  A complimentary gift card was mailed to the customer for any inconvenience that she may have been caused.

see the attached document from section G of the NYS inspectors manual.  A vehicle should not pass inspection if any mirror is not securely mounted.  The complainant's mirror was attached with duct tape, which is not considered a secure mount.  Although we cannot process a refund, we will mail complimentary coupons for any inconvenience that may have been caused.

driver is instructed at the entrance of the Car Wash to place their vehicle in neutral.  Any variation of these instructions can cause a collision during the Car Wash.  Although this incident was beyond our control and we cannot accept liability, in the interest of customer goodwill, we can arrange for Delta Sonic’s Auto Body Repair Shop to repair the vehicle at no cost to the customer.

Company declined to speak to me.  i have object that was on track which has nothing to do with gas can/ tank it a possibly a part of the track.  My car was not damaged on either side before it was t-boned on the track.  They trying  to pay for the side with the least amount of damaged.   This unexceptable they are fully resposible for all damage on both sides.  I have object ,Pictures immediatly after, estimate on same day of incident supported by another estimate from collission specialist.
