she contacted the correct Marvin Gardens? Thank you, Jim
Avoid doing business with Marvin Garden Store at any cost. We purchased a set of alligator decoys that should have been a matched pair. When they arrived, they didn’t even remotely match. They weren’t even the same product. No worries, we’ll just return it for a refund as promised on their webpage and on their eBay listing.
Nope, that’s when this seller’s true personality was revealed. On contacting the seller, Jim Grieve the owner, had the audacity to accuse me of changing the product to get my money back. I’m certainly not in a position where I need to engage in elaborate alligator decoy schemes on eBay to make $89. Comminution with Jim is akin to talking to an angry five-year old child throwing a tantrum; he is obviously a very disturbed and uneducated individual. Fortunately, eBay stood behind us and refunded our purchase, but this sg continued to berate and stalk us.
You may be lucky and receive exactly what you ordered, as many buyers have reported. If you must get a return or contact the seller, be prepared for a belligerent tirade from an individual that should not be selling on eBay.
Ordered a heated cedar birdbath and product should have arrived with a summer and winter water pan. No summer pan included. Contacted company on email & left phone message to no avail. Disappointing.
The worst company ever...Jim sells items he doesnt have in stock, lies about them being shipped, harrasses you with threatening emails, lies and says he will give a full refund , then doesnt! Has no integrity what so ever. Lies, and makes up lies . Says he will do something and then doesnt. Also wont stop emailing with more lies... Stay far far far away. Be warned I am not the first who has been treated horribly. How they are still in business I have no clue. But go somewhere else and save yourself a lot of aggrivation... I wish I did...
That jeck called me because I left feedback.
He did try to bully me.
He is so low he told me what I look like from facebook.
I did get a refund, but now he said I kept this.
Yet Ebay has confirmation that I returned it.
Absolutely agree, had similar experience. I cant stress enough how horrible this store and owner Jim Greives is! He actually will threaten you when you complain, threaten you with law suits when hen in s completely wrong, calls you on weekends in your cellphone disguising his voice as an amazon customer service representative, not just once in might add. The worst experience of my life and I have had some horrible experiences buying things online. The owner operates in a fantasy world where he lies, accuses you of trying to " defrauding" you whatever that means, then he will threaten you with phony phone calls like on a Sunday morning to your cell phone which he tracks down , also fraudulently lies and claims that he is illegally recording phone calls to you, beyond twilight zone, He is the most Untrustworthy bad irresponsible pompous lying cheating threatening lawbreaking person and company I have ever ever dealt with in my life. Google bad experiences with Marvin's gardens or with jim greives and you will wonder how hes not in prison by now. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CRIMINAL!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I have never received a refund from Marvin Gardens Store. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company in order to receive the credit for this purchase. On 1/**/17, I received my first email from Marvin Garden Store since trying to reach them back in early December, stating that the status of my order has been changed to "refunded," which I still have never received a refund from this company. As for me using the correct contact information, I have only used the contact information provided to me in the email confirmation that I received when I made the purchase, which includes a Facebook link to their page. I am pretty certain that I am using all of the correct contact information. I firmly believe that this company is a fraud. There are numerous complaints about this company throughout the internet, on their Facebook page and on Revdex.com. I'm sorry I didn't do my homework prior to making this purchase.

To whom it may concern. In response to [redacted] complaint. The list of events are as follows [redacted] made her purchase dated [redacted], her order was processed early in the morning for shipment on [redacted]. After all shipments are processed we then...
respond to customer emails. [redacted] first email is dated [redacted] which is not immediately after her purchase as she claims. Sadly [redacted] recollection of events is suspect and misleading. accusing us of lying, sending threatening emails and harassing phones calls which are all false. [redacted] clearly has an agenda, why we do not know or understand. Sincerely, [redacted]

A replacement was shipped the very next morning dated 8-**-16 which the attached [redacted] tracking proves and shows delivered on 8-**-16. During our conversation [redacted] was offered and received an additional discount in the way of a partial refund to accommodate her for the mishap. 1. Customer Bobby Wooten: Our customer purchased 4 each TriTronic charging cradles and one charger. The new owner of Tri Tronics, Garmin, discontinued these two items. Our distributor replaced, substituted compatible items. I contacted our customer via email on...
two separate occasions asking if we could substitute the charger only and ship their order. To the best of our knowledge we did not receive a response. The customer then contacted us via our toll free number, I explained the situation and ayt that time the customer requested a refund which was issued within 5 minutes of her phone call. Below is the trans action ID for their refund. This transaction has been refunded. For further details please see transaction [redacted]
I am sure Bobby did the right thing.
This company is no good.

Marvin Gardens Store sold me, what I feel was a "fake or tampered with" medicated product for my pond. It almost killed my fish. One of them might still die. Ive had them 16 years. They are over 3ft long. These are not merely some replaceable goldfish. I bought the item from him, on Amazon. Amazon refunded my money, since the owner would not allow a return. Not even the "unopened" bottle of poisoned product. I had tried to resolve the issue, in good faith, that he might not have known the bottles were tampered with. However, after stating that, he started attacking my family. He called us with the mfgr name and number, and told us to call them. They stated that ALL BOTTLES GO OUT SEALED !
The bottles we received were NOT SEALED! they offered to replace the product (declined, thank you very much) He is now calling our home, harassing us, threatening us with "slander" "libel" and "theft" he is lying to Amazon, he is making false accusations on the messages he leaves on our phone, even after Amazon has told him to cease calling us. He is sending my daughter threatening emails. She has nothing to do with this. She is having a high risk pregnancy, she does not need this mentally unhinged person emailing her with threats. We now have to make a police report, and hire a lawyer to have this harassment stopped. All over the 90.00 Amazon refunded us because HE DID NOT FOLLOW PROCEDURE! He did not respond to us within the 2 day allotted period for resolution. Therefore, Amazon refunded our money. We did not "steal" the product as he claims. How can you steal from an online company? He did not follow Amazon's rules, THEY refunded our money. None of this is our fault. Yet he keeps harassing us. DO NOT do "business" with this person. He is not a businessman, he is a grifter.
Review: On June **, 2014, I ordered a pond liner from Marvin Gardens and sent them $92.88 through [redacted]. Their on-line ad said free shipping for orders over $75.
After waiting for my order for three weeks, I sent an e-mail of inquiry. I got no reply. I sent another e-mail but got no reply. I finally got through by phone and a man who identified himself as the [redacted] said because of the weight of the liner, I would have to pay for shipping. I asked the amount. He said he would call me back. I felt he was rather short–rude–on the call. If he called back, I did not get the message. I sent another e-mail and he replied by e-mail that the shipping cost would be $116.23. I replied by e-mail that it did not make economic sense for me to pay $116. for a $93 item and politely asked that he please refund my money. After getting no response, I sent a polite, business-like letter by U.S. mail on July ** to [redacted], the [redacted], asking again for a refund of my $92.88 since they would not provide the product.
It is now August * and I have not received a refund nor a response from Marvin Gardens. I feel I will not get a refund unless I take this action..Desired Settlement: A refund total of $92.88

Review: We ordered a Pond aerator pump kit from Marvin Gardens. It was a bid offer of $57.00. This was early the week of Thanksgiving. It was an offer to buy a pond heater and aeration pump kit. (Includes hoses and aeration stones). The heater arrived Saturday the [redacted]. of November via. US mail. The pump never has! I finally received a refund for the pump yesterday the [redacted] of December. The customer service representative was rude. I chose to not continue arguing over the matter with HIM! He called back and said he would refund the $57.00. But for my trouble he would send the pump at no charge!!. He had hid people pick up the pump at FedEx the same day. We need this system to keep our fish ([redacted]) alive. We have had very cold weather, and as a result of not receiving this aeration pump, as promised we lost the fish! Simply could not get a replacement in time after he promised to send, the one supposedly in transit, to us for their mistakes.Desired Settlement: I think they should replace the two 13 inch fish, $100.00 each, and send the aerator system as promised. This is all a result of choices on their part.

Complain filed about Marvin Gardens yesterday 12/**/2013
Marvin Gardens shipped the Pond Aerator at their expense! Although I still lost my [redacted]: At least they did what they said after everything. Only shame is why not do the right thing expediently... because, IT'S right. Why make your customer angry?!
Thank you!

Review: On November **, 2014, I ordered a heated birdbath from Marvin Gardens Store via an online order. I paid for this order via [redacted]. When the heated birdbath did not arrive in a timely manner, I contacted Marvin Gardens and received an e-mail from [redacted] stating that the bird bath I had ordered was not available, but they had other comparable birdbaths. I requested that [redacted] send the replacement birdbath. When I did not receive acknowledgement of this request, I called [redacted] and talked to him. Then I followed up with a copy of the email string between him and me, since he did not seem to remember or know about the order. When I did not receive any confirmation of what Marvin Gardens Store was going to do - either send the replacement birdbath or refund the payment of $114.64, I sent another email to [redacted] telling him that if I did not hear from him by 12/**/14, I would contact [redacted] for a refund and notify the Revdex.com. He did not reply. I find this whole situation very frustrating. In all of my life, I've never experienced a worse example of poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my payment ($114.64) and an apology for the poor treatment I've received.

Response:
The business has responded. Please read below: To Whom it may concern. Response to [redacted]'s case [redacted] the customer made there purchase on 11-**-2014 as a quest on our web site. In doing so the customer did not provide an email address or a phone number. The item was currently sold out due to a manufacture's production problem. We attempted to contact the customer but the customer did not provide a means for us to contact them. I have cut and pasted a screen shot of the transaction details. The customer had sent emails to s that were captured in our spam folder. I did locate an email that was sent by [redacted] in late December, responded to her, spoke with her as well and made arrangements to have a different model bird bird bath at a greater value to be shipped the next business day which was a Monday, Monday arrived and so did a [redacted] charge back dispute for the item of which the customer informed she would not do and the same day I also received her complaint file with the Revdex.com, which she also stated she was not doing. At that moment I stopped shipment and processed the [redacted] charge back to refund the customer. All in all I tried our best to accommodate our customer by offering a more expensive bird bath as a replacement with no additional cost to her. Sadly the customer did not fill out her transaction details completely and did not provide any means to contact her. If we had way to contact her this case would never have needed to be opened. Below is the cust and pasted screen shot of [redacted]'s transaction. [redacted]

Response:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
My opinion is that the seller's view of the events that transpired regarding this purchase of a heated birdbath is distorted. He claims no responsibility for the delay in replying to me even after I called him to discuss the order. As you can see from the attached string of correspondence, I did contact him by email on November **, 12 days after placing the online order. He replied on Dec. *. We had several emails after that, showing that my emails were not going into his spam filter. Then, I called him in December to follow up on the order and to discuss this situation. The first time I called, he acted like he was not even aware of the order, even though we had already corresponded by email. When offered a different birdbath, he never replied with a description of the possible replacement or its cost. After sending repeated emails and talking with him on the phone twice, I felt that I was getting nowhere with this order. So, I requested a refund from my credit card company. Thankfully, I have received this credit and do not want to ever do business with Marvin Gardens again.
