 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Issue 1: APUS Professor denies my 60 extension request for English 102. The reason for the request was that I had a sick family member, worked extended hours under full-time employment, and lost a week of study over the Christmas holiday. Issue 2: APUS Professor Rick Wooten for History 101, and APUS Professor Brian S[redacted] for Math 302 both denied by extension request 2 weeks into the coursework which began on Feb 06, 2017. Reason: I requested the extensions as I had two family members pass in early February, and my spouse was also having a complicated pregnancy. I was also having excessive work hours. These request by both professors were denied. The courses continue as I fall behind and eventually the end of the courses are here which are April and May respectively. Again my request for both professors to grant extensions was denied. During this time I had to appeal the denied request. Eventually, I'm approved for a 60-day extension for History and not Math; However, after having to argue my circumstance, I then only receive 51 of 60 days as that counts during the appeals process. The course content was never unlocked in which case I still had ongoing issues and had to request a special circumstance extension. Which was denied after submitting 3 discharge papers from the hospital, 2 vet emergency statements, then my wife delivered my child and explaining the situation in great detail. Closing statement: It disgusts me how a University has the power to take your money and employee professors who have no compassion or desire to truly help a student achieve academically (At the minimum bet understanding of difficult circumstances). This is an issue I'm certain that no one wants a part in. I feel as though they have cheated me out my education, and they failed to truly assist me in said efforts. I'm not asking for special treatment, but simply what I have paid for and be approved for the full time allowed for these said courses as it is a total of 150 days give said circumstances. With this information, I hope APUS will reconsider their policies and procedures for future students, as well as hire more compassionate and inspired professors.Complete the English 102 course, or retake the course at no cost with an R in place my grade of F until the course is completed. Complete the History 101, Math 302 course that started in February within the allotted time excluding time wasted during the appeals process and getting this issue resolved. Termination of Professor Rick W[redacted] at APUS due to emotional distress, poor business/educational judgment, and lack of professionalism. [redacted] APUS should change the way professor's lock assignments and exams and these should be unlocked for the duration of the extension without requiring the request be made as well as not include the appeals time in the extension itself, but rather start the 30, 60, or special extension at the approval date as students currently lose those days.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:A full refund of ALL student loan funds dispersed in September 2016 is the ONLY acceptable outcome. American Public University does not need additional time to "research" this matter. The school simply needs to refund my student loan money for the complaint to be resolved.

Revdex.com Complaint Resolution   Revdex.com-[redacted]   Customer Information: [redacted] Laurel, MD  20707 Daytime Phone: ###-###-#### E-mail: [redacted].[redacted] Today’s Date:  May 12, 2016  ...

•           Date complaint was received by Caroline S[redacted]: May 2, 2016   Complaint forwarded from the Revdex.com:   Customer’s Statement of the Problem: I have been enrolled in this school since 2012. During this time, my life has had many ups and downs. The lack of no teaching position, making minimum wage to make ends meat, the lost of immediate family ones, etc. You need a 3.0 to have satisfactory academic progress, but one of my courses, I received a C+ in their Powerful Technology Applications for the Active Learning Environments class. which then in turn made my gpa a few semesters later to be a 2.96. I as stated, filed a SAP form to appeal my denial of financial aid since I did not have a 3.0..they required me to show physical proof from 2013 (mind you this was 2014 or late 2015) whether it was a death certificate, a note from work, etc. I feel as though with me being technically 1 class away from receiving my Master's degree and only .04 away from a 3.0 gpa, I feel as though I should be given another chance to do good without having to pay $1100 out of my own pocket. (all of my undergrad and graduate work has been paid for by financial aid). Why have 33 graduate credits and not have a full Master's degree? I do not have $1100 to just to give to this school when 100% of my aid has come from the government. I know that it is my fault I received the grade I did back in 2013, but to have written proof from a doctor, lawyer, or employer about my personal issues is a little farfetched. Desired Outcome/Settlement:  To waive my SAP and make me fully eligible to receive federal student aid (if not half time amount) so I can attend a class to make my gpa a 3.0 so that I can enter my final class so I can graduate !  Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:One of three things has happened.A. The United States Parcel Service failed to deliver the requested document which is unlikely given experrience with USPS and volume of corresponsence successfully delivered in a timely manner to the Federal courts.B. Someone in the APUS office failed to deliver it to Mrs. S[redacted] (Most likely scenario despite the fact it had her name on both the envelope and the letter.)C. Mrs. S[redacted] blatantly lied to the Revdex.com to cover up the institutions blatant negligence and misconduct. P.S. The unreasonable requests for a terribly extended period of time while egregious human rights abuses continue are getting absurd. The letter has been provided twice once via USPS and once from a permanent email account and static ip address. I am not in an office. I do not have an office. I do not have a home. Everything is broken and falling apart. It would not be, had a US Senator and the President not stolen everything to go get high and been vandalizing everything for the last eight years. We are discussing enormous organizations and institutions preying on the most vulnerable and this is just another example. I have just tried a hundred different ways to change the file format, take a screenshot, print, sign, and reattach the file in the alotted 30 minutes to respond and am afraid it is impossible given the current facilities. Every day this goes on I am losing a fortune in capital gains while living in abject poverty and misery struggling to survive. It's been nearly a decade and the rude, sick, irresponsible child I disciplined is making millions and doing absolutely nothing of value and in fact causing considerable harm to the American people. I have survived a twenty year reign of terror and been tortured twice, once while seeking political asylum from the ongoing crimes perpetrated by the highest offices of the United States government. As I stated previously I have multiple confessions from the Solicitor General. I can put another letter in the mail this afternoon. However, what good will it do if it conveniently never arrives nearly two months later when we all know it should not take more than three days.
