Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:While I did agree to receive email, telephone, and or USPS communication from a Vice-President @ the University, none has reached out to me thus far - except now here on the Revdex.com PlatformWhy should it take me having to file a complaint with the Revdex.com to get a Vice-President to acknowledge my existence and to acknowledge my concern? It should never have gotten to this pointWhen will the University send me a full retroactive refund check in the amount of $6,020.00? There isn't much else to discuss other than that finalityThank you!

I can confirm that our practices are in line with Federal requirements; Financial Aid is strictly dictated by important bodies of compliance, such as the Department of Education. We must comply with those policies and regrettably have no ability to amend them or make exceptions to what is required of us. We are reaching back out to offer addditional information and support to this student shortly, and appreciate your follinformation.Sincerely,Caroline S*Assistant Provost, Student ServicesAmerican Public University System

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I have made numerous inquries before filing this complaint and recieved similiar or vague answers Specifically no one has been able to tell me why they allowed me back into the program only to dismiss me after earning two A's I recieved one followup email since I intiated this complaint it was vague and never really addressed any of my concerns and told me they were charging me additional fees I enrolled at APUS/AMU because of there supposed support for military Soldiers, my situation was unique but I was setup for failure from the startNow I am being contacted by a collections agency for fees and such I never used Again I would like an apology from the President for allowing his school to mislead me regarding my re-enrollment and for them to drop the fees they are charging me for services I never used.

Good afternoon, I am happy to clarify our response. We do not require the student to send a signed FERPA release for the purpose of resolving her complaint, however, in order for us to share the details of her records with the Revdex.com we cannot do so without a privacy release that authorizes us to do so. This is to remain compliant with Federal privacy best practices We intend to continue reaching out to the student directly with the details of our proposed resolution, which we hope will be satisfactoryA representative from our Financial Aid Department indicates that they attempted to reach the student via telephone unsuccessfully, but will attempt to do so again and follow up with a written summary of our proposed resolution. The student should monitor her email and primary phone for updates, and we hope to close this matter positively and as quickly as is possible independently so that we do not infringe on the student's privacy rights Warmest Regards

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
From: Revdex.com of Metro Washington DCDate: Wed, Sep 6, 2017 at 9:53 AMSubject: Fwd: Second Email: Follow-up of Compliant: Complaint #[redacted]To: [redacted] Sincerely,Revdex.com Customer Service Team---------- Forwarded message ----------From: [redacted] Date: Tue, Sep 5, 2017 at 7:43 PMSubject: Second Email: Follow-up of Compliant: Complaint #[redacted]To: [email protected] Revdex.com:I recently received a response by the American Public University in regards to my complaint, and this response is included in this email. They now claim that IT 500 course is not usable due to it being awarded for another course at APUS ([redacted] Management Information Systems.). Also, they claim that they have to evaluate my [redacted] (Operations Management) course from [redacted] to see if in fact I can receive credits, and if the [redacted] (Business Economics) at [redacted] University transfers for their Business Economic course required (both APUS and [redacted] are both certified by the Higher Learning Commission). Additionally, APUS claims that the [redacted] course was deactivated because of new certification requirements and new course descriptions. Please check to see if the statements they claim in their response email is true. The email is sent by a Henry F[redacted] on 09/01/2017. APUS has never given any notice of any of the transfer restrictions listed in their response. The [redacted] being discontinued into another course is bogus because the descriptions of both the [redacted] course and the [redacted] are similar, but they are just worded differently. Also, [redacted] is stated on the syllabus to be graduate level, not just a simple basic research course (which, I have taken various research courses at various levels). Thus, the response by APUS does not seem logical and I am unsure if they sent this response to you. Please pay close attention to the last four documents attached, they are new documents. The others are older they are sent in the original email sent, but still are important such as the syllabi documents. APUS response document is titled "APU-Transfer Credit, Course Substitutions and MBA Comprehensive Exam [#[redacted]] - Inbox - [redacted] Mail". Please check the validity of their claims. I still believe I should be exempted from each course. Thanks.Regards.[redacted]email: [redacted]@[redacted].comComplaint #[redacted]
