Mr [redacted] came in to the dealership and we worked this outHe is satisfied now

This customer has not bought their vehicle into our shop for service since Having their scheduled maintenance done at our service department is a requirement for the no charge lifetime warranty we provide customers at no charge This has not been done therefore the warranty on the vehicle is void This is not our requirement it is a requirement from the warranty company, they are the ones that denied the claim not usthank you

And please also show on the record that since the change over in Lustine Chrysler and Jeep's computer system they have added the Mechanical CoverageI bought my Jeel brand new and Mechanical Coverage on the Engine is a new Coverage that was put in place recentlyIt was not a coverage option as Tony (Saleperson) and Sham (Financing) will be happy to back me up on thisGood thing I do my research because clearly there are liars in yhis worldRegards, [redacted]

The warranty was not void by Lustine taking the vehicle to Lindsay to be repaired in The warranty company denied the claim due to the customer not bringing their vehicle here for routine maintenance and if the warranty company overlooked that fact there was also engine work recommended by the [redacted] dealership to the customer that was declined Both of these factors made the warranty company deny the claim There is nothing we can do to get the warranty company to approve the claim thank you

Customer owes [redacted] $for over milage, one key, and damageNone of this was taken care of by the dealership verbaly or in writting

The only coverage purchased was a maintenance plan If [redacted] would like to come to the dealership I would be happy to go over her paperwork with her and explain the products that she purchased

We have refunded all policies in full and refunded them to the loan at [redacted] Credit Union

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because Lustine claims no responsibility for this issue I had two different mechanics look at the car and both said the same thing They both said the timing belt's teeth were shredded into tiny "flakes" of rubber Lustine claims that a bolt on a pulley that had no moved for 100,miles, magically worked its way loose and fell off causing the engine to seize This is highly unlikely especially since Lustine claims to have not touched the pulley at all The mechanics that I had look at the vehicle before taking to Lustine did not see any pulley that had fell off the car and was missing There was no evidence of a missing bolt If a bolt was missing and this bolt was responsible for the damage then the pulley would have had to pull off as well In addition, I have received no documentation in the form of pictures, etcthat show which pulley that Lustine is claiming did the damage I paid both of these mechanics when the car engine seized while in Delaware One mechanic is Delaware has provided me with specifications and schematic drawings of the engine and the placement of all the pulleys located around or near the timing belt It appears that the pulleys have to be loosened and/or tighened, so to make adjustments to the timing belt I paid the mechanic in Delaware a diagnostic fee to look at the possible issues that caused the vehicle engine to stop while driving [redacted] clearly stated that the timing belt jumped time There was no evidence of any pulley missing or damaged I then had a mechanic in Manassas provide me with a 2nd opinion Again, I paid a diagnostic fee The 2nd mechanic provided me with the exact diagnosis and stated the engine seized due to timing belt probably being tightened too much and therefore causing damage to either/both the tensioner and the timing belt The car had miles since the timing belt removal.This is in no way acceptable! I had different mechanics look at the vehicle because I knew that Lustine would attempt to make this my fault and claim no fault There is no way possible that a bolt that had 100,would magically and mysteriously become loose and fall out If anything, one would expect rust and possible issues with loosing the bolt due to years of not being touched or "messed" with at all This is clearly an excuse, especially when I have two mechanics that have said that they are both willing to aid me in testifying in court proceedings on what each saw regarding the vehicle, if necessary Again, Lustine has provided zero proof of their alleged allegations of a missing bolt on a pulley They have yet to even identify which pulley is supposedly missing the bolt Frankly, I believe the mechanics that have nothing to lose and nothing to gain by stating the facts that they know and their visual inspection on the car in question This is why I am not accepting Lustine's offer as they are responsible for this problem Even though the incident occurred days after the day policy (To which I knew nothing about), a reputable company should make this right! Customer service should be what keeps companies in business, yet Lustine has shown little to zero concern regarding this situation It does not matter to them that their service department had my vehicle for well over a week before even replacing the original timing belt to begin with! Why then should I be punished for this time? You claim it was over the day period Yes, it was days, yet your service department had it for over days, so, if we are to be technical, then I actually had the vehicle in my posession for less than the day period Either way, I reject this offer, as the right thing to do is to replace the engine at no cost to me!! The service department made a mistake and I should not be forced to fight to get my vehicle fixed! Regards, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: When we were making this purchase, the finance person (Delma) explained to us the difference between service and extended warranty and after trying to sell it to us, or should I say "was pushing us" for over minutes, we chose the extended warrantyShe showed us something that was the maintenance plan and we specifically told her that we decided to buy the extended warranty, after she convinced usShe showed us a brochure, to show us what was covered and what was not covered in the extended warranty plan we were purchasing, and that she would mail us the brochure with the papers because, her brochure was for office use onlyWe never got any of the papers she promised us She made it clear that what we were signing and purchasing was for the extended warrantyAlso, the business is lying about the fact that they explained something about this situation to us several timesBecause, every time I called the business, they would avoid my calls after I would ask for a manager or general manager and did not return voice mailsThe one time I did get through to Delma and asked her about the extended warranty that I purchased and she told that it takes a long time to receive the papersPerhaps, this company needs to talk to Delma and find out why she lies to their costumers and talks them into buying something without properly explaining it allWe purchased a Highlander with an extended warranty before we bought this car and we know the difference between an extended warranty and maintenance planDelma told us that this "maintenance" is what they call an "extended warranty" when they submit papersWhen she showed me the price, and before we signed the contract she showed me that in the computer you can only put it in as a maintenance plan, but in fact is the extended warranty As a consumer, I do not know the background operations of this company filing the papers, so I have to put my trust into the individual selling me the warranty and believe they are doing their job correctly, which did not happen in this caseI am tired of the games that this company is playingI want a full refund for that "maintenance plan/extended warranty"I don't want to ever do business with this company again, and if I could, I would return the car too Regards, [redacted]

Ihave attached copies of your credit application allowing us to send to different lenders to try to secure the best interest rate for you and MrSmithI'm sure you are aware of this since we were able to lower your rate after you already signed a contract at a higher rateI do see [redacted] ***'s emails saying he would refund some products to you, since you claimed to him that these items were never installedYou told us in your complaint that these items were quickly installed before you could react when really it was days after your purchaseWhen Jason found out that you had installed these items on 9/11/with our Service department he then rescinded that decision as it appears you were trying to get expensive items for freeThat would be like you buying expensive items at [redacted] 's, keeping them but demanding a refundYou have the products, we will not refund what you paid for themWhen researching this also found that you ordered a [redacted] Tote bagAfter you received the bag, you claimed that you didn't like it and you wanted a JEEP Tote bagWe ordered that one and sent it to you but you never returned the first one you receivedPlease return itOn the TV script you can see exactly what the commercial saysit does not say that [redacted] and Bumper to Bumper are one itemIf you looking on the margin of the script that has a list of the different messages to go over in the commercialThe margin items are not heard in the commercial.Jim G [redacted]

[redacted] purchased a used [redacted] She requested we replace the timing chainWe performed the service and replaced the timing chainAfter the day warranty was over a bolt on the engine broke and caused the timing chain to come off causing the engine to seize This malfunction was not a result of the timing chain we replacedSince all warranties had expired we offered to pay 50% of the repair with the customer paying the other 50%We were under no obligation to do thisWe did this in the spirt of good will but since it is clear this will not satisfy the customer we resind the offer

Ms. [redacted] came here and bought a [redacted] single signature cash note due in three days. Three days was up and we called her for balance . She said she did not have the money yet but would come in and sign a bank contract and pay the bank off when she got her money. She came in and signed the bank... contract and everything was fine. We never told her to bring any car back and never had it parked ojn our lot. Please see attachments.

[redacted] 's gap protection was reinstated and she has filed a claim with them to get her balance on her loan paid offI spoke to her and this issue is resolved Thank you

Mr Sama purchased two service contracts and a Gap plan when he purchased his truck All three have been canceled a check for $for the gap was sent out on 9/8, a check for the maintenance in the amount of $was sent out on 9/and a check for the service contract in the amount of $was sent out on 10/ Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions Thank you Jason Dill

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Again I stand by my previous statements that the rebate was added to the offer already accepted by Lustine of $22,We all seem to agree on that point Lustine had posted signs inside its show room clearly stating: Customers buying ***'s would receive a $Rebate from [redacted] This was their year end clearance sale to clear their inventory of the remaining vehicles paving the way for the new models( Labor Day Specials)I had stopped by Springfield [redacted] the day before and spoke to them about ***'s so I knew what I was willing to payI shopped hard online and by calling other [redacted] Dealerships within a mile radius of my home.I knew my pricingProblem was, I was not finding the [redacted] I wantedThe prices were running about $22,with various buyer incentives...one offered a $Rebate on a ***, another offered free oil changes and car washes for the life of the car etcMy desired [redacted] would be white with cloth seats, sunroof and [redacted] tiresMost of the cars offered to me had leather seats, no sunroof but [redacted] TiresI had spoken to another sales person at Lustine earlier in the week when visiting the dealershipI ended up selecting Jeramy R [redacted] because he called and said he had the car I was looking for, would I come up and take a look at itI went the next morning and Jeramy showed me the carIt had the cloth seats, the sunroof and was white in colorWhile looking at the car and prior to going inside the Dealership, Jeramy stated, If you buy today, you will get a $rebateI thought WOW, this is really working outI told Jeramy to consider the car soldI also told Jeramy that I needed to make a car purchase that day because I had sold my used vehicle to [redacted] and this was the last day they would honor the price offered for my car [redacted] offered me $15,while dealerships offered me only $traso I wasn't going to let the [redacted] offer expire with that $net to me price differenceJeramy and I then went inside the Dealership and sat at a tableHe ask, what are you offering for the car...he was filling out some formI said, I will offer $22,Jeramy took my offer to Mohammad and came back to me saying, "Your offer has been accepted" I said great, lets do this thing as I have to get to [redacted] to drop off the car I was drivingI ask if he would help me with doing that and he said yesI was all setI then said, Jeramy,( while he was filling out paper work) what about the $rebate that you are offering pointing to the signs hanging inside the Dealership? He said, you will get that too! Again he went to Mohammad back and forth goes JeramyI said, Jeramy, since you are not busy, why not have Mohammad to come over here so we can speed things up and get to the bottom of thisJeramy had shown me the paper work that he filled out after his private discussions with Mohammadindicated a Balance Due of $24,I told Jeramy that the paper work was not correct and ask how the price got to $24,Mohammad came over and sat down at the tableHe took out the form that Jeramy had filled out and signedMohammad said, ok your price is $24,before taxes, tags, processing fee etcI said, hey Mohammad wait a minute why did you add $to the price that we agreed onHe said that's the rebate You have a sales price on this form at $24,when you accepted my offer of $22,He wrote down $24,minus $to indicate he had achieved the agreed upon figure of $22,I protested loudly and said, no rebates are not handled in that wayIt is not added to the price but minused from the priceWe sat there arguing over this and Mohammad said, I'm not selling that car for that priceI was shocked! Mohammad also indicated on Jeramy's paperwork that he had given me the rebate of $which is clearly written on his Buyers Ordline #I stated that adding $to the $22,already accepted made no sense especially when you gave it back on line # At no time was a price agreed to of $24,yet that was the way it was going to be because Mohammad was not going to honor the agreementI decided, it was not worth sitting there arguing about it as I still needed to take advantage of the [redacted] deal so I signed the paper work and decided to take the matter up later.....legal contract or notThat is the story of what brought me to the Revdex.com to file a complaintIn reviewing the two documents provided through the Revdex.com website, I see a balance due on delivery price of $24,yet on document #3, the price is $24,, Document #shows a Dealer's Business License Tax of $yet item #shows Dealer's Business Tax of $Item #also indicates that the $was used as a Down Payment but I made no down payment as I paid cash and did not financeAgain I state: ADDING $TO AN AGREED UPON SALES PRICE OF $22,TAKING THE PRICE UP TO $24,AND THEN APPLYING IT LATER ON IN THE CONTRACT DOES NOT GIVE THE BUYER ANY THINGITS A WASH! It does lead to the dealer making more profits but the buyer gets nothing but a higher price paid for the carI also wonder if this Rebate came from [redacted] as advertised, why am I not getting a check directly from [redacted] ? Again these numbers are manilupated to serve Lustines purposes of increased profitsA deal is a dealI honored mine to them and now they need to honor theirs to meYou may ask why did you do the deal when you knew all of this was happening? My answer is the need for the car, [redacted] Commitment plus in a court of law, I could not show the foul by Lustine unless I had completed the transactionI feel that Lustine's Business practices should be investigated and also that the rebate promised me from [redacted] should be honored and a check for $plus any other discrepancies as found in Document vs Document be returnedOne thing more! The generous $reduction to please me as stated in their response was directly related to taxes being charged when Mohammad pulled off his trickery and taxed me on the $rebate as wellOur tax rate is 4.25% so he had me paying another $devious mathHe knew what he was pulling and got caught at it so he made the adjustmentI am awaiting the rebate refund as advertised! Lustine clearly admitted that I offered $22,and made no mention that it included the use of any rebate prior to the price being acceptedPLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT WRITTEN TO JERAMY ON DAY OF PURCHASE AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP! Unfortunately a lease can not be canceled by just paying a $fee to terminate the lease What would be required is the termination fee plus all the payments that are due under the full term of the leaseWe tried to explain that If [redacted] is able to do something different they would need to contact them directly as this is how [redacted] explained the process to us
